Welcome to enjoy a traditional and atmospheric log cabin in the heart of nature in beautiful Kuusamo. Go hiking, fishing, and picking berries, and in winter, weather permitting, you can ski from the lake all the way to Ruka. A stunning starry sky crowns the evening sky, and the sun, shining through the night, illuminates the summer nights. The cottage has basic amenities, but you still need basic cottage skills (e.g., for lighting the fireplace and the lakeside sauna). Bed linen/towels and final cleaning are not included in the rent. A new luxury ski resort is located near Ruka, on the shore of Lake Suininki. There are sleeping places for 8 people in the main building. The building has two bedrooms, a spacious loft, a remote workstation, a sauna, a dressing and washing area, a utility room, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room. There is a large hut on the shore of the lake and a separate lakeside sauna with a wood-fired stove. The property is perfect for those with a taste for luxury and a peaceful holiday. Ruka is about a 20-minute drive away, and the centre of Kuusamo is about 20 minutes away.

Spend your vacation in the peace of nature, with a comfortable distance from the neighbors. From the windows you may see the Northern Lights and the starry sky, the woods and the rabbits run in the woods. Sometimes reindeers visit nearby. Ski nearby only 450m, a little walk and you'll be on the ski. The ski slopes of Vuossel are also a short trip. There is also a snowmobile rental nearby. In the summer, it's possible to swim in a nearby lake. Sheets and towels on request, at a separate price of 23 eur/person.

We have well and diversely equipped kitchen. The house has everything you need for your holiday. The garden is big. Outside there are spacious views to the Porontima Lake, mountains and to the green nature. We have free WIFI. In summer time you can book a hot tub for a different price. Price is 130€ /2 days or 180€/week.
