Northwest of Hamburg in the beautiful Schleswig Holstein lies our lovingly furnished 48 sqm apartment with terrace and garden. There is a kitchen with a stove, oven and fridge, a shower bathroom and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Smoking is allowed outside (e.g. balcony). Please note the parking instructions. The garden is private and not accessible.

Horst's time out

My time-out Horst stands for real picture book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the tranquility, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you will find a real beach with great gastronomy From about May to autumn. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. All relevant shopping facilities are about 1.6-2 km away. In about 3 km. Distance is the train stop. A car is useful here!

The accommodation is a pearl at the gates of Hamburg and is located directly on the Stör. It consists of a charming thatched cottage, which has been lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. In addition, the property has a unique 400 square meter glass house. Yoga, table tennis, food & drink and dancing...everything is possible here. On the illuminated boules court you can play here with a cool rosé until late at night. Delightful.

The guest room offers storage space for your luggage. A TV, Wi-Fi and Caffisimo machine are at your disposal. There are drinks + snacks in the minibar. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, hairdryer and towels. Air conditioning can be booked. Pets are welcome. The room can be completely darkened. Opposite is our bistro/café "Uncle Paul", where you can reserve a table for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

For day trips, the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts are only an hour away. We, your hosts, live in the adjoining house and will be happy to assist you. There is a train station 4 km (2.5 miles) away, and the ferry across the Elbe is 10 minutes away. The sweeping view over the pastures and into nature makes you forget about everyday life. It is in the middle of downtown Elmshorn. In addition, you can reach Hamburg by train within half an hour. You can park your car right outside the front door.
