My simple, comfortable and affordable cottages are located near the tip of the Door Peninsula and a short walk from the village of Gills Rock, a favorite destination for kayakers and cyclists. The area boasts some of the best fishing in Door County. The cottages are a short drive from the rugged, unspoiled beauty of Newport State Park, a semi-wilderness area offering hiking, swimming from an expansive sand beach, and nature activities. You can also enjoy a trip on an excursion boat or the Washington Island Ferry across the beauty of Death's Door Passage to Washington Island, the oldest Icelandic settlement in North America. Divers can explore shipwrecks remarkably well preserved in the cold water of Death's Door. A spectacular Fourth of July fireworks display, unique shops, fresh and smoked fish, an excellent restaurant, and the Maritime Museum are some of the things that make Gills Rock a special place to stay.The many performances, restaurants, galleries and shops of Door County are also easily accessible. We are across the street from the bay, and have limited water views. Each cottage offers: · Two bedrooms plus sleeper sofa/ futon (Sleeps 4-5) · Individual charcoal grills · Fully equipped kitchen · Gas fireplaces (cottages 3 and 4) · Bath With Shower · Deck · Campfire ring · Bed and bath linens provided · Boat slips available nearby A Pack-N-Play and high chair are available upon request

Awesome location! Unit 52 Townhouse style condo at Meadow Ridge Resort in Egg Harbor. Right at the top of the hill at the start of Egg Harbor. One mile to the public beach. Half a mile away from downtown. Directly next to Harbor Ridge Winery! Close to much more!!!This 4 bedroom end unit is one of only a few at Meadow Ridge with no one above or below you and has direct access-no hotel style common area. Attached garage with gas grill. Large deck. Indoor pool and hot tub and outdoor pool!
