Great hiking terrain in both summer and winter. Upright ski slopes about 100 meters from the cabin, ski resort, own children's tray. 32 km from Røros (30 min) and a short way to Hessdalen. Here you can new silence, light a fire on the fire pit, or light a larger fire by the lean-to - summer and winter. The cabin is well located for year-round trips both towards Hessdalen, Rugldalen, Røros, Tydalen/Riasten. In the winter one can also put on your skis for a cross country ski trip or "ski in and out" down to Ålen Ski Center. The cabin is fully equipped for a nice weekend.

The property is fully fenced, perfect if you bring your dog. 4-wheel drive in winter is recommended.

The beautiful and historic town Røros is a short drive away and is worth a visit in both summer and winter.

The flat comprises the entire ground floor of a small farmhouse and has a main bedroom with ensuite, a sitting room (functions as a second bedroom when there are more than two guests), a kitchen and a second bathroom. The surroundings are peaceful and you can park right outside the door. At certain times of year, you might see elk or cranes. In the summer, cows graze in the nearby fields; the traditional barn is now a cultural centre, run by Fjøsakademiet.
