With swimming off your back deck, kayaks to explore the lake, and bonfires there is something for everyone. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is a short drive, hosting 1.5 million acres of Wisconsin Northwoods, including the best cross country skiing trails. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. At 700sq ft, it's intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. We fell in love with Hayward for the same reason so many people do: the lakes, the quiet, the slower pace, and how easy it is to feel connected to nature. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

This early 1900s remodeled farmhouse sits on a hill overlooking the beautiful rolling hills, pastures and woodlands of our 100-acre horse farm. In addition to our peaceful rural setting, we are a short drive from Spooner and Hayward conveniences and close to area lakes for recreational activities.
