It is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. 4 km from the center of Bad Bentheim and 4 km from the Dutch border, you can start directly on the sandstone route from here. Welcome to our high-quality furnished holiday apartment with approx. 70 m² of living space, 2 bedrooms and 3-5 sleeping places. Towels and linens are of course included. A car parking space with carport is right outside the door. There is plenty of space on the sunny terrace, and a table and four chairs are also available there. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the city. Münster is about 15 km away. The next bus stop in the direction of Münster is right outside the front door.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

Holiday Apartment, Upper Floor, Old Town, Burgsteinfurt, Right in the Heart of It All

In the middle of the historic old town, a quiet, lovingly renovated apartment awaits you. Just “a stone's throw away” is the Wasserschloss with Bagno Park and the historic market square with cozy restaurants. From Burgsteinfurt you can relax and explore the entire Münsterland. The 65-square-meter (700-square-foot) apartment was renovated in 2025 and is fully equipped with underfloor heating. Working from the apartment is no problem-free thanks to the fast internet.

Historic Farm House in Countryside

This type of house is known as " ein Heuerhaus'. It was built in 1883 and is one of the few remaining such houses in the area. We renovated it in the late1980's and it is recognised as a National Monument. The area we converted into the appartment for our guests, was originally used for storing the hay and straw for the animals winter fodder The house is surrounded by a large garden and uninterrupted view of the countryside.
