Chance Cottage Annex is a uniquely built and individual building located within the garden of a 18th Century Cottage. The Annex has been fully refurbished in April 2025 and returning to Airbnb after 2.5years. It has its own private entrance and is located in a quiet part of the pretty village of Holton, near Oxford. The village is just 2 miles from the M40 between High Wycombe and Oxford with easy transport links to Oxford city centre, London, the Midlands, Bicester Village and the Cotswolds.

We are a few minutes from all the tourist attractions of the historic city of Oxford including, the University Colleges, the Ashmolean Museum, Pitt Rivers Museum, the Bodleian Library, the Thames for punting, the Westgate shopping centre, University Parks, Port Meadow etc. We are 30 minutes drive from Blenheim Palace and 20 minutes from Bicester Village outlet shopping centre.

We would like to reassure our guests that we are undertaking all the necessary precautions to help minimise the spread of COVID-19 (Coranovirus) and are following government guide lines. Our flat is self contained and cleaned to a very high standard. The property is a converted modern and refurnished flat with excellent light and insulation. Quiet location with shop and bus stop on the doorstep. Easy and short distance to Hospitals, Headington, City Centre and London bus stop.

The feeling of the place is that of being in the deep Oxfordshire countryside; but the reality is that we are only 10 minutes walk away from South Oxford and 30 minutes walk away from Oxford centre.
