Sitting at the end of a well maintained 4 mile dirt road, you will find our 360 acres in southwest New Mexico surrounded by ancient cottonwood, Pinon and sycamore trees. (GPS: 32.969224, -108.525218). This "end of the road" cabin along with our 4 other rustic properties, will satisfy your need to disconnect, escape the cold, the crowds, the stress. The quaint Village of Gila is a 10 minute drive away and offers a medical clinic, library, post office, art gallery and is truly the "Gateway to the Gila Forest". Still convenient to major shopping in Silver City, NM and an easy 35 minute drive, you'll enjoy browsing a variety of shops, antique stores and boho, silver, turquoise homemade jewelry bodegas. You'll find a long list of of things to do and see: day or evening fine dining or fast food; multi-cultural cuisine or eclectic funk, Western New Mexico University, our local Farmers Market, theatre, an annual Fiesta, Little Toad Creek Brewery & Restaurant, art galleries, or antique stores (check out Manzanita Ridge)!! The Boho/Southwest home is completely remodeled offering all the amenities you may want or need for a comfortable stay - with a central location near the airport, convention center, sports arenas, Tempe Town Lakes, ASU hiking and lots of restaurants and bars. There are two bedrooms with beds and two bathrooms in the house, and works well for a group of friends, two couples, or small families. This house is situated in a landscaped oasis with plenty of indoor and outdoor amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Inside There are two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that you can use. There is one bedroom and a few closets that we use to store our stuff and those will not be available for your use, but all other spaces are yours. The living room has a flat screen TV with Netflix, Amazon TV and Hulu with fast wifi. Outside The patio allows for dining under the lights, and lounging in the hammock. Fast WiFi reaches throughout the entire place, including the outdoor patio and porch areas. Please let us know if you would like to use the gas grill. On hot Arizona days, we recommend taking a dip in the stock tank pool (closed during fall/winter). The backyard is a shared space. We also Airbnb the back guest house and you could be sharing the backyard with other guests. Walk, bike, light rail, or uber. Being in the heart of it all makes transportation a breeze. The back guest house is also on Airbnb. You may be sharing the backyard with another guest. From the designer furnishing and tasteful decor items to the tennis court and pool outside, this Casita is as spacious as it is stylish. The property is resort like, without the crowds. Play tennis, shoot hoops, lay by the pool, or stroll through the garden. Hiking and mountain bike trails are out the back door. PLEASE NOTE: price indicated is for two guests staying in the one bedroom one bath with full kitchen. Optional second bedroom, bathroom can be added for an additonal $198 per night. Our place is very private, yet close by car to many attractions. 7 miles to the beach, 20 minutes to Legoland. Hiking out the back door, you will find endless trails and great mountain biking. Guests can use the tennis court and relax in their own private yard. Pool is available, although it is not heated. Hot tub is also available, but a $20.00 usage fee is needed to get it hot (It's big, and takes a lot of gas to get hot!) We live on the property, but it is very private. I can be reached easily by phone or text if something is needed. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood that evokes a country vibe, the casita is accessible to all San Diego has to offer. Hiking trails are just outside with the beaches, local restaurants, and boutique shops just a short drive away. Permit Number: RNTL-007165-2017 A car is needed. The City of Encinitas charges an additional 10% TOT tax which I will add to the booking after confirmation.
