For those interested in culture, there is Straume Landscape Museum, which includes the Stone Age residence Skipshelleren.

Good comfortable beds (1 double bed, 1 single bed and the possibility to set up 1 extra bed), soft warm duvets and pillows, sheepskin and wood-fired stove. If you need a refreshing bath, you can take it in one of the many pools by the river that flows by the camp.

In winter, the lake is often suitable for ice skating. The surrounding mountains offer beautiful hiking trails, including the popular route to Vetlevarden at Storfjella, starting just outside the front door. At the end of the lake you’ll find the impressive Hesjedalfossen waterfall, only a 20-minute drive away. A free canoe is available for guests.

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.
