This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin has solar lights, bar fridge, power bar to charge devices. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood.

Century Old Dovetail Cabin

Nestled between Sudbury & Manitoulin Island is our 400 acre property along the mighty Spanish River. Our cabin, originally built as a sauna in the 1920s, was converted to a sleep camp in the 70s. It features: bedroom w double bed; small enclosed sitting area w vault ceiling; screened-in porch w a twin bed; & deck overlooking the Spanish River. The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Welcome to Manitoulin Permaculture! We are an eclectic community of infectiously warm and welcoming humans that are exploring ways of living that nurture each other and the land we share. We recently created a private, lakeside "glamping" space for guests. A queen bed with linens and bedding is provided for your stay. There is a private composting toilet next to your tent.
