Here you have access to great hiking areas, and there is a high chance of experiencing the magical northern lights in the evening. The apartment offers a beautiful view of the fjord, and is only a short walk from the city centre, where you will find shops and cafes. It is also 1.4 km from the Hurtigruten. This is the ideal location for both the adventurous and those who want to enjoy the silence.

Cozy authentic house from 1931

Charge the batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation outermost of Jarfjorden. The house is located right by the fjord with a big terrace with a lovely view, and on good days, sun from morning to evening. From here you can enjoy the sunset and teeming wildlife. The house has charming crooked doors and floors, sturdy old timber walls and cozy furniture, washer, dryer, stove, shower and fireplace. The cottage is beautifully situated in a quiet and secluded cottage area, about 30 min drive from Kirkenes centre. The cottage has views down to Munkelv which is a salmon driving river and there are fantastic hunting conditions for grouse in the area. If you go a little up the mountains behind, you will find countless fishing waters with both char and trout. In other words, good opportunities for both quiet and active holidays as needed.
