Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Set quietly beneath a modern home, The Hideout is a lower-level suite designed for stillness. From the moment you step inside, it offers a sense of exhale — a soft retreat from the noise of the world above.The living area is anchored by a plush, low-profile sofa that opens to a king bed, TV and an electric fireplace. The kitchen is inviting to prepare family meals . The bedroom offers a double bed. Air mattress is available for additional guests.

The suite has all you will need to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Our home is within walking distance to the wharf and the down town core. For all the skier or the guest that want to ski or hike Mt Washington it is only a short 40 min.drive away. Our suite is in our primary residence.
