Cozy Nordurnes: Peaceful, view onto Mount Hekla

A cosy and practical cabin in a quiet and scenic location on our farm, about 12km (7,5 mi) from the nr. 1 road. A generous living space, dining area, kitchenette and shower room downstairs, an upstairs loft (via ladder) has 2 very comfy mattresses and a view into the sky (Northern Lights?). The location is central to all sights in the South, detailed day trip information is provided. Perfect for 2 people, unobstructed views onto volcano Hekla and the open landscape. Private and quiet location!

Fell cottage

Stay at Fell cottage on the golden circle. Close by are some of Iceland's most amazing places to visit like waterfall Faxi and Gullfoss, Geysir, Langjökull glacier, Brúarhlöð and many others. The cottage stands alone on a beautiful sightseeing platform with views of Tungufljót river and mountains all around. With stunning cliffs around back. This Unique Summer House was finished in 2010. This location is in one of the best vacation areas in the country. It is in the middle of the famous Golden Circle Route. The house was built to reflect the Icelandic landscape and complement the small vegetation of moss and trees in the old lava-field. Luxury riverside cottage in the Golden circle

Our newly renovated cottage is in the centre of the golden circle overlooking the Tungufljót river. There are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers from the house. The house is a perfect base from which to explore the fantastic sights the golden circle and the surrounding area has to offer. All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.

The waterfall Faxi is in the land of the earth. Swimming pools in both Flúðir and Reykholt which are about 10 min drive.
