The house is located quiet and rural on a farm in Gausdal. Here you can enjoy the stillness and sledding life of the countryside, or take a trip to some of the many sights in the area. Approximately 20-30 minutes drive away you will find Skeikampen, Hafjell , Lillehammer, Hunderfossen Family Park and Jorekstad recreation swimming area to name a thing. There are great hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity of both summer and winter. Great ski slopes 5 min. away.

Velkommen til Lillehammer! Huset har en flott beliggenhet. Ligger nær marka og turstien som går rett til Birkebeinerstadion. Området er svært rolig og familievennlig, men det er likevel rom for litt høylytt lek i bassenget 😊 Huset ligger 7 minutters kjøring fra sentrum, og det går buss to ganger i timen, 500meter fra huset. Opplev sentrum av Lillehammer med yrende liv i Storgata morgen som kveld med butikker og restauranter.

18th century lofted wooden house close to everything

Stay centrally in Lillehammer with stunning views of Mjøsa, in a traditional lofted wooden house with a unique history. Vågåhuset is a timber building that was moved from Vågå to Lillehammer in 1913. The house was originally one of three buildings on a farm in Vågå in Gudbrandsdalen. According to Maihaugen/Digital Museum, the house was bought and moved to Lillehammer by the painter Frederik Collett.
