There is great hiking in Shiga Kogen and the Hokushin Gokaku mountain range. It is also short drive to multiple hot spring onsens, restaurants, soba making, and other activities.

Similar distance to the village center shops, cafes and restaurants. Comfortable for families and small groups of 4-5 with or without children, maximum 6.
