This cozy little house, finished in 2020, is located on a small working ranch in Harney County, Oregon. Come to the ranch and relax in the wide open or go explore the many things around the county. Room for a horse in the corrals or pasture. Well-mannered dogs welcome, but please bring a bed or crate for them. I'd rather not have animals on the furniture. RV Hookup available for extra friends or family for an extra fee. Send me a note when you book, and I can adjust the booking for you.

Cabin assisted camping on an organic homestead farm. Don’t miss our weekend breakfast! This cabin is in an accessible, yet removed parcel of our property, just 1 mile from the town of Dayville, Oregon. Kitchen and indoor off grid bathroom . Not recommended for cpap machines. Guests can use outside spring water as well as faucets in cabin, and there is a seasonal solar shower. Great views and solitude, close to the John Day Fossil beds Sheep Rock unit, and the South Fork of the John Day River.

The Chalet is 1000 ft. above the valley and town of John Day Oregon. Great view of the town and valley to the east and Canyon Mt. to the south. Completely outfitted and ready for you to move into and enjoy. It is a Classic High Desert Decor complete with horse shoes and deer showing up for visits.Thanks for the notice. And for your information and knowledge, All linens and towels etc are changed after each rental and all surfaces and faucets, knobs and handles are sterilized too.

High Desert Hideaway

Pets allowed inside if potty trained. Just a 5.3 miles from town. It is on the south side of Highway 20 east of Burns, you must go past Red Barn Road. There is red reflectors to help find the driveway at night. It’s a on a pivot that with permission and caution about buildings, pivot, equipment and the highway you may shoot ground squirrels and jack rabbits! There is a corral for horses and a kennel for dogs. It is centrally located for horse activities like cuttings, brandings.

Stellar Cabin

Wake Up to Wedding Cake! Stellar Cabin can be your private hideaway. Soak in the wood fired hot tub and gaze up at a blanket of stars. Cook a steak on the grill, make dinner in the fun cook shack and sit around and watch evening come. John Day Fossil Beds are close by. Hike Blue Basin, swim in the river or dig for fossils! We are out of range for most cell service, but it's close by. Wifi available at host house if needed! And pets are welcome!

We may not have a view but we have a great cozy environment inside and out for you to enjoy and relax in. Only 15 minutes from the Strawberries and John Day.
