The house is located 1 km from Åram ferry dock and 4 km from Hakallegarden, where there is also a nice beach. There is also a grocery store 1.5 km away. From Hakallestranda you can go on day trips to the surf paradise Hoddevika, Loen Skylift, Geiranger, Runde and Ålesund. There are fjords, beaches and mountains in the immediate vicinity and many hiking opportunities in the area.
