You enjoy the warmth of the hot tub… Cold and good drink in the glass. You know the legs are a little heavy after the mountain trip yesterday. When you stood rocky at the top of Hornelen with a view of the entire Nordfjord! On the way down from the mountain you cooled off with a refreshing bath in the mountain water. ….Flamer from the fire pit crackles -day catch is on the grill. The waves hit the waterfront. Welcome to the house on Hakallestranda. Here you can enjoy good quiet days and magical evenings where the sun goes in the sea about 23.30. The house is located 1 km from Åram ferry dock and 4 km from Hakallegarden, where there is also a nice beach. There is also a grocery store 1.5 km away. From Hakallestranda you can go on day trips to the surf paradise Hoddevika, Loen Skylift, Geiranger, Runde and Ålesund. There are fjords, beaches and mountains in the immediate vicinity and many hiking opportunities in the area.

Koselig hus med sjel:) Stor hage med trampoline og hengekøye. (om sommaren) Rolig nabolag- lite støy og uro sjølv om det er sentrumsnært. Under 5 min å gå til strand, butikk, park, kafe, pub og treningssenter. 30 min til surfestrender Hodddevik og Ervik. Ca ein time frå kjøpesenter, operahus, kino og skisenter. Ein liten båt/kajakktur i frå øya Selja og klosteranlegget. Flott lyssett trapp og turløype omtrent rett bak huset. Mange fantastiske fjellturer i nærområdet. 5 t båttur selje-Bergen

Brekkegarden is situated in Gjerdsvika, along the beautiful coast line just north of West Cape. The house was built in 1893, and whilst fully restored, all the original elements of the building, including timber walls, are retained. The farms' natural beauty is outstanding, including rose gardens, a stream running through, and plentiful opportunities for walks and excursions. We warmly welcome all guests. The farm is particularly well suited for families and lovers of traditional architecture.

The apartments are beautifully located right on the waterfront and have sea view from all rooms. There are good opportunities for swimming and/or fishing just outside the door. The outdoor area appears to be untouched and is located close to Fru Inga restaurant. If you are lucky, you can experience animals that live in and by the sea up close during your stay. Among other things, it is possible to meet otters, sea eagles, whales, and seabirds.
