There are five buildings on the farm that are from the 1800s. Sauefjøset was renovated in 2023 for rental. There are two double beds (150 cm) - one downstairs and one upstairs on the loft. Huset ligger idyllisk til mellom Rondane og Jotunheimen nasjonalpark – perfekt som base for fjellturer, naturopplevelser eller bare avslapning. Dette er stedet for deg som vil koble av, puste ut og oppleve ekte norsk landliv med nærhet til noen av Norges vakreste fjellområder. 15 -20 min unna med bil til Høvringen i Rondane Nasjonalpark. Flotte turstier, samt stort løypenett om vinteren.

Ditt perfekte utgangspunkt for fjelleventyr og avslappande dagar ved Vågåvatnet Start dagen med ein kopp morgonkaffe på terrassen medan du nyt den spektakulære panoramautsikta over Vågåvatnet. Den vestvendte plasseringa gir lange soldagar og eit heilt spesielt kveldsljos. Uppå Strond ligg ideelt til mellom nasjonalparkane Jotunheimen, Reinheimen og Breheimen. Innan ein times køyretur kan du oppleve Galdhøpiggen, Besseggen og Rondeslottet. Det beste av norsk natur - rett utanfor døra.

Mountain cabin next to Rondane National Park

Simple and charming mountain cabin located at the tree line, 1000 meters above sea level. It is only one kilometer from the national park, and it is five kilometers to walk to the Peer Gynt cabin. The cabin has neither running water nor electricity, but it has solar power, which is generally sufficient for charging phones and using lamps. Water is fetched from the stream behind the cabin. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding next to the cabin. The cabin is heated with firewood.

Located in the middle of the mountains, with a short distance to great hiking trails, cross-country trails and beautiful nature all year round. It is fully equipped with running water and electricity, and offers the perfect combination of comfort and mountain tranquility. Quiet area, not for parties. Minimum age: 25 years.

Charming old lodge from 1888. The place is idyllic in tranquil surroundings with views to Rondane National Park. 15 min drive from Otta city center. Several hiking opportunities in the area. The lodge is without water but has a outdoor toilet and warm outdoor shower. Drinking water provided in cans. Possibility with power via aggregate (extra charge) and or solarpanel. The lodge has 1 bedroom, kitchen and living room.

Idyllic old farmhouse in a scenic area in the middle of Peer Gynt's kingdom. A unique place near Rondane and a hiking eldorado with high mountains and short distance to several fishing waters. This is an undeveloped, old mountain farm where you can really find peace and quiet and recharge your batteries. The farm has a large fenced area where both children and four-legged friends can roam freely.
