Our cottage is located at the banks of the Yuhara River, at the banks of the Uenbara River. Speaking of Gifu, Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama are famous, but Enhara is also an inconvenient place in the mountains, but it is nice. The landscape of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a natural place where monkeys and deer appear. The Enhara River is a landmark of Japan's most beautiful underwater water and light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of underwater, so the transparency of the water is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On a summer morning, you can see a magical view of sunlight from among the trees due to weather conditions. The water in the Enhara River is cold, but in the summer, the children are playing in the river energetically. Temperatures drop a lot in the river, so even those who escape the heat and cool off. There are a few river play spots a little downstream, and the water is crystal clear and it is nice to swim beautifully. The water in the river shines a little deep in emerald green, the rock and moss landscape is fantastic, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. Inuyama Castle is the oldest castle in Japan and is very popular. In addition, the castle town is full of delicious things, so it is crowded with many people. There is a convenience store within walking distance. There are also many chain restaurants such as yakiniku and conveyor belt sushi, as well as eel shops and delicious restaurants that can be lined up. We have free rental bicycles, so you can go to many shops. Sorry, there are no children's bikes for children 9 years old and younger. This is a condominium-type accommodation that can accommodate up to 4 people. The first floor is exclusively for guests. I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!
