Our house is lovingly and modernly furnished. The garden is spacious with a beautiful fire pit and swing and trampoline for the little ones. A new gas grill and lounge furniture are available on the covered patio area. The highlight is the large whirlpool on the covered terrace. One bedroom is already equipped with an orthopedic sleeping system based on a box spring bed and from around March 1st we will be offering an orthopedic WATERBED as an additional highlight for our guests suffering from back pain. The master bedroom with a double bed and TV, kitchen and shower room can also be booked separately. Please note that the second bedroom can only be accessed through the master bedroom. So this is then a PASSAGEWAY ROOM! Our accommodation is located in the village. Rural and (mostly) quiet. The immediate surroundings are ideal for bicycle rides and walks in the woods. Shopping for basics such as groceries is available ~ 4 km away. The district capital of Diepholz is ~ 10 km away.

You will stay on two floors in lovingly designed rooms. You can relax and explore the area, cycle, swim or paddle on the Aller. Our village is 10 km from the equestrian town of Verden, right on the Weser-Aller cycle path and a five-minute walk to the river. Children and dogs are welcome.

In the historic farmhouse there are 6 lovingly designed guest rooms and large living and recreation areas. In the hall, 20 people can easily dine together. There are plenty of retreats and cozy niches by the fireplace. The garden beckons with outdoor seating, swings and a fireplace for long campfire evenings or a walk in the park. Nearby, a large forest invites you to hike or bike. The house is quietly located and has no direct neighbors.

At Alpakahof Strange, we live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848. The Lower Saxony hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of a long-gone rural tradition. In the pasture behind the farmhouse stands the spacious circus wagon. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, who graze and rest there during the day. Pure relaxation!
