Welcome to the Gite de La Roche. Come and relax in this green paradise where the only sounds are the music of running water and birdsong. Our gite is less than 500m from the Bort les Orgues lake on the River Dordogne. You can enjoy your stay in the middle of nature and all the activities we have to offer. Cycling, kayaks (for hire), fishing, swimming, hiking/walking (there are more than 50km of walking routes departing from the gite.) Close to La Bourboule, Le Sancy and the chain of volcanoes.

Auvergne Holiday Cottage/Gite Sleeps 4

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

This independent accommodation was designed on the ground floor of a beautiful stone barn located next to our house, facing Allagnat Castle. A large bay window overlooks the garden that you can enjoy. Ideally located in the heart of Sancy, with a unique view of both the Château de Murol and Sancy, this chalet will offer you a moment of privileged relaxation. You will have the opportunity to navigate around Saint Nectaire (10 min), Murol (5 min), Lac Chambon (10 min), Super Besse (25 min), Le Mont Dore and La Bourboule (30 min), and other places, each more beautiful than the last.
