The pool (12x6), secure, spacious is to be shared with the owners, but they are very lending and not very intrusive. Our 2 cats are not very invasive. Bonnie is unlikely to show the tip of her nose, she is rather wild. On the other hand, Bambou, cuddly, will easily come to seek your caresses if you wish.

La Maison Benaise, our bicentennial farm, welcomes guests who are mainly looking for tranquility and nature (Natura 2000 site). Guests can enjoy beautiful walks in the hilly Charente landscape. Sports enthusiasts can practice mountain biking, canoeing, swimming in the river or lakes around us or simply relax with a book and a drink on the sunny terrace. For children, our four Shetland ponies are ready for a little hug.

Charming riverside castle

Menet is a 12th century castle erected on the right bank of the Tardoire, close to the friendly and lively village of Montbron. This family home is listed as a Historic Monument, and has been the subject of a major renovation project. The location of the castle is exceptional, in the middle of nature, overlooking the Tardoire River and an old mill. A very large south-facing terrace, allows you to enjoy this view.
