Historic Wykoff Jail Haus

Come explore the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus. The Jail Haus was built the late 1800’s and is owned by the city of Wykoff. Bike trails, trout fishing, Forestville State park, and cave exploration. There is kayaking and tubing 10 minutes away. Open over the winter months for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and other winter activities. Playgrounds, restaurants, convenience / gas station all within walking distance. Located 40 miles south of Rochester in a town of 450 people.

Enjoy a scenic drive from this central location to visit popular surrounding towns such as Decorah (home to Luther College) or Fayette (home to Upper Iowa University). This home consists of a living room, dining room, full kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower, laundry room and bedroom on the main level with a bedroom & sitting area upstairs. NO SMOKING PLEASE

With your stay you will have 4 full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, laundry, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, the Great Room, gas fireplace, two dining areas, and large outside deck space, which includes a gas grill, to enjoy the starry nights and beautiful views. The Mink Creek Lodge has miles of maintained trails, a fire ring with fire wood, and the Mink Creek is a stocked trout stream. The host and hostess live in the walk out basement. No areas or entrances are shared with the guest.

This newly renovated duplex will feel like your home away from home. Located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from downtown, with off-street parking, and complete with everything you will need during your stay. Enjoy cooking in a full-sized kitchen with new appliances, relax on the couch, and then crawl into one of the three cozy beds. If you are planning an extended - stay, a washer and dryer are provided for your convenience. You're sure to feel welcomed at The Alta Pine!

Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Welcome to The Store! This place originated as a grocery store in our little town of Ossian, IA. We have given this building a fresh new facelift and turned it into a vacation home.
