Close to Bordeaux (1 hour), castles (Duras, Bridoire, Biron, etc.), Bastides (Eymet, Issigeac, etc.), numerous outdoor activities in the heart of Périgord (canoeing on the Dordogne, treetop adventures, hiking, etc.)

Lovely Country House with Pool

Located on the edge of a small village with a restaurant in the countryside of Lot-et-Garonne, beautiful stone house on one level, 7 km from the historic town of Duras with its medieval castle. Quiet and private setting with large garden and pool. Authentic atmosphere, all comforts, with very spacious and bright living room open to fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms each with shower room and toilet, laundry room, 2 terraces, 1 of which is covered. Walks along the river.

A beautiful private swimming pool, heated from May to September, awaits you, out of sight, with its equipped relaxation areas. Our house is adjacent to the gîte. This charming little traditional stone house is very cosy, comfortable while being sober and ecological in the same time. I am happy to share it with travelers who appreciate simplicity and proximity to nature. The house is equipped with a very good wood stove, with exposed beams on the ceiling and terracotta tiles on the floor. The house is hot and cosy in winter, and cool in summer (Possibility to pick you up at the train station or airport for small extra fees)
