Our stay at Justin's was great! Very easy check in and out. He was always available if we had questions and always asked us if there was anything we needed. In a safe location near New Orleans and for a great value! We would recommend Justin's home to any travelers looking to explore NOLA, as he knows the area very well.

Neighborhood was very quiet as advertised. Justin responds very quickly and had the place clean and ready.

Coolest AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Loved canoeing in the swamp and she even made some amazing food to share.

Beautiful place, with a river and a fireplace in the backyard. A canoe is provided for those who want to use it. The drive to the house is really fun. The place is very clean and has a really chill vibe to it and Stefanie is an excellent host.

If you don’t mind hanging out in the swamp, being in good company, with a great cook, a free spirit, sort of person this is the place to be.

I didn’t have the opportunity to stay here but seeing how Stefanie was able to work with me on cancelling and what not I can tell it would be a stay you won’t regret.

Highly recommend Stefanie as a hostess. She will go out of her way without sparing effort to make you stay a very pleasant one. If you enjoy the activities on the river this is the place to go. Clean and comfortable space, succulent breakfast, fast and clear prompt communication and inspiring exchange of life's experiences.

Karen was nice and do everything to accommodate us on our working trip. Love to come back whenever we are back in town. Karen is very thoughtful and the place was perfect with every lil thing needed she have it ready by the time we check in.

This place is fantastic! It's only an hour drive into New Orleans, and it was so nice being able to come back to a quiet neighborhood and relax away from the noise of the city. It's also really close to all the river road plantations, which are a must see for anyone who enjoys history and/or architecture. The suite itself has a swanky vintage feel to it with lots of space, and the kitchen is fabulous! We absolutely recommend staying here.

The house was completely as advertised - comfortable, clean, and close to all plantations. There is very little in the area as far as breakfast goes, and Karen very thoughtfully included eggs, bread, coffee and a few other breakfast things so you could eat quickly and be on your way. Now, on to the unusual - the house was last remodeled in 1965, but don’t be alarmed - it had been kept in such a fabulous condition that all you feel is like you are going back in time. My favorite was the range in the kitchen with a slide-in cooktop (you slide it in like a drawer so it doesn’t take up room and pull back out when you need to use it), two ovens right above with glass doors, and a hood that you simply lift up to turn on. And it works! There is a wall phone with a dial - not operational, unfortunately, but we showed our kids how such phones worked. Tiles in the bathroom, all fixtures, old photo cameras for decoration - very nice! Karen and Earl were fantastic hosts - their advice and tips were spot on, and they responded immediately. Thank you again! If you are in the area, stay here - you wont regret it!

Nice and quiet

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Karen's lovely house close to the historical plantations such as Laura plantation our crush in Louisiana. We highly recommend.

Amelie Beau is a wonderful home. If you love historic homes with all their charm, this is the place for you. Bring the family it is a spacious place that lends itself well to making great memories.

I never wanted to leave! My family was worried I wouldn’t come home from Louisiana! The house is simply gorgeous but it is also warm, inviting and a peaceful place to escape. It is a brand new Airbnb so the furnishings are in perfect condition. The owner thought of everything- light and dark towels in the bathroom (dark towels for makeup), warm and fuzzy blankets for naps and sitting on the couch, and other perfect little touches throughout the house! There were several coffee choices in the kitchen, laundry detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry. Nice to have when you are traveling for a few days and want to wash your clothes. The front porch has two rockers to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cigar and nightcap. There is a record player downstairs— make sure to play a record and enjoy your stay. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was listening to the records. Neighbors are friendly, everyone waves and says hello— you might see a gentleman riding his lawn mower by the house on Sunday, dressed in his Sunday best— make sure to wave hello! I can’t wait to come back and bring my family!

Kelly's cottage was a great place for us. We were centrally located to everything we needed. She provides a fully stocked home with anything you would need. The very comfortable bed was an added bonus. We look forward to staying again the next time we are in the area!

This cottage was just as described and more. Very neat and well kept. The location was perfect for visiting our friends and family. Kelly was easily accessible if need be and very friendly and helpful. My dad became ill during our visit and we were unable to leave as early as we wanted to, she was very u see standing and accommodating. Thank you miss Kelly!

Kelly’s place is an absolute yes if you’re in the Gonzales/Prairieville area! Book it before someone else does! She is a terrific hostess, with quick communication and care for the visitors. The cottage is by far one of the best choices for a short or long term stay...comfortable, easy to get to, convenient to shopping, and super clean.

Wow! I was just so impressed with this cute, cozy home! Kelly had so many special touches. The kitchen amenities were top rated and a dream for anyone loving to cook. The furniture, blankets, pillows and lighting were the highest quality. In addition, My teenage daughter and I enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sun rise each morning. Then we spent our evenings lounging on the leather couch watching our favorite Netflix shows on a big screen tv. The neighborhood, location and size was perfect. I look forward to staying here every year!

The Cajun cottage was perfect!!! We stayed the weekend for a birthday trip and we absolutely loved the place! It was not too far from New Orleans but we didn’t mind the drive at all! Louisiana was beautiful! There were many brochures available for us to check out and explore the area which we too full advantage of. The place was sparkling clean, cute, and quaint! We had a great stay! Gary was an excellent host and anticipated all our needs with thoughtful touches and amenities. We saved a lot being able to cook our meals with the kitchen stocked full of cooking utensils!

The unexpected art, framed photos and attention to decor, well stocked kitchen for cooking, and comfortable queen and bunk beds, large decorated BR/laundry, real fireplace and private outside deck for meals and grilling are highlights of this well kept cottage in the upper Cajun country of LaFourche Parish. We enjoyed or stay of two nights at Christmas and could easily have done another.

Though we thought we would spend more time in the city, it turned out to be a comfortable and cozy place to retreat for me and my husband. Not to mention, everything was sparkling clean. Excellent location for visiting the plantations. Very spacious and beautiful house that we had for ourselves (anyway there is only one bedroom), with 2 bathrooms and kitchen, Carl brought us breakfast in the morning. Recommend if you want to stop on the road, that's what we did and we were very happy with our choice. Carl was also good advice for dinner in the evening.

Great comfortable place to stay in a beautiful historic rectory. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and provided a great breakfast for us. The location is very near to several plantations. We also drove a bit further to do the tabasco tour and see the gardens there which were amazing. Great place to stay.

This Old Rectory is beautiful and clean... Carl and Maria were so nice and welcoming. They are at the place often ~ I just always made sure I was "presentable". The location is minutes away from Historic Plantations, so if you plan to visit the Plantations or do the tours, this location is perfect.

Monica is a very thoughtful host, she had notes for us, from a welcoming note with chocolates to notes on how to work the tv. She also had a coffee station set up in the kitchen (we don’t drink coffee so we didn’t use it but thought it was very thoughtful!) Overall we had a great stay at her place!

This place is awesome to stay they have a really good communication everything is clean but if you are going to New Orleans is a 1 hr away, 50 miles.

Monica's condo was homey, stylish, and comfortable. She communicated very well with us, made check-in a breeze and even allowed us to use her laundry machines. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed the last night of our three week road trip through the South. Perfect end!

This was a great little cabin. The grounds were absolutely amazing. The place was very clean and comfy. The only recommendation I have is to provide a better curtain for the bath tub. It does not work well to keep water off the wood floors while showering and is made of cloth.. Otherwise, I highly recommend this cabin.

The cottage set on the plantation was idyllic! We loved the comfy bed, amenities and tranquility!

This place is SUPER CUTE and bigger than expected! Nestled amongst the oaks, very quiet (except there is a train that passed at some point through the night but really no big deal). Bed was really comfortable. Has a little back porch we hung out on. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

The cottage is a nice place for a getaway and with a discount on the tour of the Plantation to hear about the history of the place you really get to understand the area better.

This is Such a cool place. The space has so many special little touches. Melissa was excellent at communication. She gave us some great recommendations of where too eat. The bed was very comfy and the space was very clean.

This was a great find! Super close to all the plantations along River Road & less than 30 minutes away from New Orleans. It was quiet and private and quite unique to stay on the grounds of a historical plantation. Melissa is a wonderful and thoughtful hostess and even left us a sweet Valentine’s Day treat. We enjoyed touring plantations one day and spent the other day in the city parading (it is Mardis Gras season after all!). The cottage had all the comforts we needed and more!

Super clean, which was great for my family. Neighboorhood was quiet and clean as well. Felt safe. Next door to a dollar general. Would recommend having a car if visiting New Orleans, the French Quarter is about 30 mins away. Overall great stay!

The is my second time staying at Zee's place. I look forward in revisiting back because the price is right, the location is in safe neighborhood and the communication with the hosts is perfect. They are quick to respond and help anyway they can.

Cajun Paradise... is exactly what you will get when you stay here. This place is in the quiet swamps on the outskirts of New Orleans. About 30 minutes from the city. We enjoyed our time here and Kent & Shi were great hosts. Kent went out of his way to help us and was very quick with responses. When you stay here make sure you’re ready for the bugs that come with it! Beautiful place with cool neighbors too!

Amazing stay! Kent is as very responsive, by letting us know which delivery services and ride share apps work best at this location. He is a very honest guy and even refunded us a portion of our payment for something that was totally our fault. Will definitely be staying again!

Amazing stay! The apartment was beautiful, immaculate and had everything we would need! It was so nice to be able to have our own kitchen and cook. The location was perfect, right downtown and within walking distance to adorable boutiques and a number of delicious restaurants. The grocery store and more restaurants were a 2 minute drive. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the cute downtown, we spent every night enjoying the view. The perfect spot to stay. Beautiful accommodations in the heart of downtown. Spahr’s is right around the corner and serves the best Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Y’all have thought of everything from coffee to toiletries. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here due to my husband coaching baseball. It was PERFECT! It was minutes from the park and conveniently located next to precious little shops, amazing restaurants, and the grocery store. I was ecstatic that there was a pack n play, a high chair, baby wash, and washer/dryer. It made my packing and loading the car a breeze as a mom always having to haul tons of baby gear. The apartment was immaculately clean and felt extremely roomy with the high ceilings. My husband bragged on how comfy the sofa was. There are giant bottles of shampoo and conditioner and small bars of soap if you don’t want to bother packing those things. We will certainly be back, hopefully for leisure next time, and to try Fredricks!

Perfect location you can walk to several restaurants and shops. The space was sparkling clean and everything worked well in the apartment. The views off both balconies were wonderful. The rental is very spacious and looked like everything was brand new. Great place for a couple or a family to stay.

This is a beautiful home with wonderful people! They are stylish accents everywhere- The room I stayed in had a faint Blue theme. Mostly in the bathroom and then little things in the room itself. Gregory is an amazing host and very thoughtful!

Troy and Christy gave us a wonderful recommendation on local food and activities! The fridge was well stocked in the room and had plenty of snacks and Coffee and hot chocolate! One of my favorite parts was the shower excellent water pressure and it was very clean! They truly made us feel very welcomed !! Highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed, we will be back next year for Mardi Gras.

My friend and I truly enjoyed staying with Jennifer! Her place is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, we had a car, so 25 mins drive from the French Quarter was not a problem at all. Jennifer's home is very clean and she is thoughtful about guests. She had teas, coffee, soap, etc. Her dog is adorable, we almost did not see him. She keeps him in her room. The setting of the house among majestic live oaks on Destrehan Plantation is truly Southern at its best. If you’re looking for a quiet place to escape the hustle and bustle of New Orleans this is it. Day trips to the city were easy. We were so comfortable there that we added another night to our stay. We enjoyed the Honeydew Cafe for breakfast and Ormand Plantation for lunch. The only thing missing at the Marie Celeste is rockers on the front porch.

The location was great for what we were looking for...a nice, quiet evening away from the craziness of New Orleans. The place was very clean and ready for us.

Lisa was great. Very easy to communicate with and her place was exactly as advertised. She was even nice enough to make us breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived the room I had booked wasn’t available so Lisa upgraded me to a wonderful room. She was a perfect host. The neighborhood is quiet and residential with a few fast food restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a great stay!
