The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with The National Trust's Castle Drogo half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate is beautiful for walking along the River Teign with wonderful views across Dartmoor.

Situated on the Two Moors Way, this is a perfect bolthole after a day exploring. This self-contained little annexe with private entrance is attached to a 550 year-old former Mill in the rural hamlet of Ponsworthy, 3 miles from the famous Widecombe. The Potting Shed is small but perfectly formed for 1 or 2 people to stay in complete compact comfort. And it's dog-friendly! An entrance lobby for coats and boots leads into an open plan kitchen, living area and bedroom, plus a walk-in shower room. There is a shop in the next village, about a 10 minute walk away. The King's Arms pub is 50m away, a friendly local serving good pub food. Discounts for longer stays: 3 nights 5% and 7 nights 10%. Sorry, we cannot accept children or infants.
