  • Nice southern sunny exposure in the morning. Flannel sheets and thick blankets made for comfortable overnights. Snowmobile trail head a short ride away and then onto some of the best riding conditions we have seen in a while. Very friendly service at Mike’s deli and gas they pump it for you! We will be back again.

  • The space was a great little find for a large group of us traveling through Vermont. Very cute little old farmhouse. Stephens communication over the app was excellent and he made sure our group had everything we needed as we were arriving during a snowstorm.

    Travis2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • We were very comfortable at Stephen's place! Good communication about getting checked in and the wifi worked well. We were a party of 5, so the double beds worked out well for us, since we all had our own place to sleep and didn't have to share! Lots of elbows and cover hoggers in our family. Bed's and linens were comfy. We liked the rustic nature of his home, and would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the other outdoor amenities!

  • Very cute house with everything you need available. A little dated but it makes its charm. Easy access in bad weather and the host is very kind and personable. Highly recommend.

A private in-law apartment in this lovely country farm-house sitting high above Sheffield, VT. At the center of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, you are conveniently located just a short drive from all of the Kingdom's attractions and amenities. Quiet and private, the site offers a peaceful retreat from a busy lifestyle, yet close access to all of Vermont's recreational activities be they athletic, artistic, or passive.
We are fifteen minutes from Burke Mountain and East Burke Village, the Kingdom Trails, St. Johnsbury and Lyndon. Looking for water? It's a short drive to Lakes Memphremagog, Willoughby, Crystal, and Caspian. Greensboro, home to the famed Circus Smirkus and Hill Farmstead Brewery is only 30 minutes away.
On Top of the Kingdom sits atop one of the higher elevations of Sheffield with long range local views of hay fields, farm lands and mountain ranges. Set back from a quiet country road, passing vehicles are a rare sight or sound, and the evening sky is awash with starlight, uninterrupted by ambient street lights.
  • Excellent place. Really cosy, with all you could ask for and a MASSIVE TV. Super nice and welcoming people. The location is beautiful and worth the trip up the hill.

  • Me and my two brothers stayed for a weekend snowmobile trip and had a great time. The house is exactly .5 miles from the trail, just a short skip up the side of the road. This place is spotless and in a beautiful location. We had a pleasant surprise of some homemade zucchini bread that went great with our morning coffee. Next time I travel to the northeast kingdom I will definitely be staying at Terry’s place.

    Dwane2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was really nice to visit Terry. The place was warm and welcoming. The beds are cozy. Terry were really kind with us and help us a lot with the surroundings. We also have a couple of pastry on the house !!!!

Country privacy in VT's NE Kingdom with lots of parking. 2-story historic Guest House has elegant charm close to nature. LARGE picture window upstairs with spectacular changing views of the mountains, night sky & stars, and protected farm animals. Pristine nature sanctuary (swimming, hiking) is just down the hill. Near to Kingdom Trails, Craftsbury Open Center, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Burke Mtn, Lyndon, and lots of great places to eat. 1/2 hr to St Johnsbury, Canadian border/Newport.
We are 1800' elevation and near pristine swimming/hiking/fishing just down the hill. Charming Historic Guest House with Old World touches sleeps 2 couples + kids very comfortably -- can sleep 3 couples & 2-3 young toddlers. The downstairs Great Room has a full kitchen, dining area + 5-gallon hot/cold water dispenser, couch-bed (inner spring mattress) in front of the HDTV w. Blu-ray DVD-Netflix, WiFi (10 Mb, unltd). Upstairs Great Room has a kitchen nook (great for morning coffee, breakfast in bed), King-size Bed, Captain's Bed, beamed ceiling, and a very large picture window that is a s-l-o-o-o-w entertainment center. Mountain views change with the light, and the stars on clear nights are beautiful. The 2 bedrooms (another King-size Bed in one with attached bathroom, Full-size Bed in the other with attached 1/2 bathroom) have Cable TV. All upstairs rooms have adjustable baseboard heating controls. Downstairs is heated by a pellet stove, & there's a supplementary wood stove if needed and a really great space heater should you want to use it. Nature Preserve is easily accessible just down the hill, wit Bread & Puppet about a mile further on. We are near Kingdom Trails, Burke Mtn, many great eateries, and St. Johnsbury. In the other direction: 18 minutes to Hill Farmstead's world-class Brewery, and 27 minutes to Craftsbury (concerts & Farmer's Market on the commons in Summer) & The Open Center. Newport & Canadian border about 35+ minutes North of here. Many great swimming places nearby (& some boating places, too) & Farmers' Markets. Hardwick (about 22 minutes south of here) has a great Food Coop & upstairs Cafe. A few doors up the block is Positive Pie (very popular), and other eateries, book stores, and across the suspended walking bridge are a flower place & yarns/sewing shop. Nearby is a great place to spend time at: Perennial pleasures; They offer tea etc. on fine china inside, with beautiful varieties of chickens wandering around outside, wonderful garden areas to wander around in and come back loaded down with wonderful flowering plants. On the way back you can visit Circus Smirkus, , Highland Arts Center (classes, movies, gallery, cafe), then stop in Greensboro and visit Willy's Country Store, go across the road to Miller's Thumb Gallery (beautiful clothing & art items) which has a window to look down through at the rushing stream that runs under the store. Greensboro also has a Farmer's Market. #1 rated Hill Farmstead Brewery is about 10 minutes from there. So many wonderful places to go to, and things to do when you're here--or you can just soak up nature here, unwind, de-stress & breathe in the fresh mountain air.
We're not the only ones who love the views up here. In Winter the VAST Trail has a spur along the west border of our property, and the Main Route 122 VAST crossing is just up the road. Some come to go to Kingdom Trails (20 minutes away) and knock themselves out mountain biking, or skiing and many events at Burke Mountain. Craftsbury's many events (concerts & more in summer) and in winter there is the Open Center's groomed x-country trails (& dog-sledding). #1 Rated Hill Farmstead Brewery is just 18 minutes away (closed Sun-Tues). Thanksgiving often has the first good snowfall but this year snow started in early November and we've gotten 48" as of November 30th. In Winter there is x-country & downhill skiing, sledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling, dog-sledding, snowshoeing, and building snow things. Up here (Zone 4, 1800' elevation) we get LOTS of snow--3 miles away the weather is warmer and they get much less snow (Glover & Sheffield towns are at lower levels). Newport/Lake Memphremagog and the Canadian border are about 35+ minutes away, offering guests a day-trip to Canada's environs (old-world Magog, Stanstead, Sherbrooke, and Quebec City are recommended). In summer there are: the little-known sanctuary (swimming, hiking, scenic overlook, more) around the corner (May-Nov), Bread & Puppet Theater (2 miles down the road), Farmer's markets, open air concerts on the Common at Craftsbury, lightning bugs in July, and the peace & tranquility here away from the populated regions -- our Guests love to return. Many guests love gazing at the stars on clear nights. Birds all year round, Spring peepers in Spring, butterflies, fireflies & Luna moths in summer, the occasional moose, the abundant nature, wildflowers, beautiful Fall foliage, healthy water & raiding organic goodies from the Guest House Garden in the warm months. Others come for the many things to see, do, go to in the region, and come back happily exhausted at days' end. Swimming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, biking, canoeing, kayaking, theater, concerts, exploring, boating -- so much in the warm months. early October to around the 21st are the various stages of foliage--from brilliant colors to glowing yellows afterwards. Many choices for all seasons or just unwind, relax and enjoy the many comforts of the Guest House. Lots of games, cards, Mahjong, jigsaw puzzles, books to read, Audubon nature guides & binoculars, plus WiFi, HD cable TV, DVDs & Netflix.

  • We loved the guest house! Before booking, you should know that it is quite rustic - not like staying in a spotlessly clean hotel room - and also very remote. There are few businesses in Sheffield itself, and the nearest towns with ample shopping and dining options are 30 mins to an hour away. But on the other hand, the location is stunningly beautiful and close to gorgeous lakes and mountains with hiking. And the cabin itself is super cozy. We stayed there on a VERY cold November weekend, and sitting by the wood stoves watching movies was pretty perfect for us. Plus, Stephanie and Marc are lovely and so welcoming!

    Anna2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • First steps through the door and you are immediately charmed by the space. Nicely appointed with all that you need and more than you don’t know you do! The view from the picture window was a slice of heaven. Marc and Steff are kind and thoughtful and available but not intrusive. Location is great (we wanted to visit HFS - truly less than 20 minutes away) and so cozy. We appreciated that our small dog, Tuxedo, was welcomed too. We hope to return for a spring/summer view!

    Meredith2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Marc and Stephanie are so warm and welcoming. The farm is just gorgeous and they are doing such great work with the geese and donkeys and biodynamic farming and so forth. We had a marvelous stay. The extra touches made our weekend very homey and comfortable. We really enjoyed it.

    Seema2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Marc and Stephanie were such hospitable and kind hosts! Their farm is really close to a lot of great places to go snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The view from the second floor bedroom is gorgeous--it looks like a framed painting. Highly recommend!

  • So there we were in Vermont for a friends and family reunion in Sheffield during an awful winter storm. Marc and Stef were FANTASTIC - the AirBNB was incredibly warm, cozy, and spacious for the four of us - we could have fit 2-3 more folks in easily, and all of us comfortable due to a well-stocked pellet stove and backup heaters. Not just that - Marc had the driveway cleared every time we went in and out, despite the blizzard putting down multiple inches an hour. He made sure the winding mountain road was clear as well - guiding us safely out of the driveway and onto the main road. Amazing hospitality during inclement weather. We'll be back.

    Melody2019-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location, excellent accommodations, and very caring hosts. We felt comfortable and at home right from the get go. The space is gorgeous, from the beautiful floors to the amazing picture window. The wood stoves kept us all nice and toasty, and we would definitely stay again. Thanks Marc & Stephanie!

    Ken2018-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stef and Marc made us feel like we were staying with family. There were drinks in the fridge, fresh bread on the counter, plenty of coffee, and homemade granola. The pellet wood stove worked great, the beds were super comfortable, we loved Hazel and Bobo, their donkeys, and our dog, Athena, was welcomed with open arms. Stef even gave us home grown garlic cloves to take home! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

  • Thomas and Amanda's place is indescribable. The cleanliness, amenities, hospitality, location, literally everything was beyond par! We came here for Thanksgiving and not for a moment did we feel as if we were away from home. Their place is warm and cozy and super well stocked. The area outside is so serene and quiet. The swings and the lake do deserve a special mention! We will definitely go back to theirs in our future trips.

Birdhous in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Right off of Route 16 and less than a mile from interstate 91 for easy access to area attractions or rest along your route. This season, we're offering our guests room by room rentals, hoping to connect more with our guests and to bring better energy into our hous than has been offered when renting the whole place as a private space.
This home functions as a residential agricultural incubator in the warm months and is available as a cozy nest for travelers during the cold ones. Our hous is a budget, no-frills, basic amenities kind of place, but we'll be happy to rise to the occasion if you let us know what you need! The toilet is separate from the bath to allow for long uninterrupted periods in the tub.
  • Very cool shared farmhouse. We were in the ground floor queen room and it was perfect for our budget and needs!

  • If you want to be immersed in rural Vermont and get the detachment from your hectic life then Colleen and Jon's spot is the place for you. With very personal touches and quick responses to any inquiry you have expect to feel spoiled Sutton. We were hoping to rent some snowshoes to trek around the property, and our hosts provided their own - you're dealing with some genuine people to say the least. Can't give this listing a better rating, and we certainly hope to return in the future!

Mere steps from the rushing Passumpsic River and with clear views of Burke Mountain Ski Resort, enjoy the quiet and cozy guest suite of this sun soaked Chalet home. Located a few miles north of the Village of East Burke off Vermont Route 114, this location offers quick and easy access to Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trials and the VAST trail system. Set on 13 quiet and private acres bordered by the river, it is great for enjoying a waterside campfire, hiking the woods or having a summer swim.
This suite consists of a combination living room, kitchenette, dinette. Also a bathroom and bedroom which sleeps 5 containing a queen bed and a bunk bed with a queen bottom bunk and twin top bunk. Two internet connected TVs are available in the space, one in the bedroom and one in the living room.
  • Sevren's place is a oasis for weary travellers.

  • I was one of the first guests to stay at this new place in Burke. I found it to be a really great value. It is just a few minutes north of Burke Mtn, East Burke, and Kingdom Trails. It has wonderful views of Burke Mtn. The space is, well, very spacious, occupying the entire basement area of the house, with a big living room, big bedroom, and big bathroom area. Groups with lots of ski, climbing, or other gear will really appreciate the space for sorting, drying, and organizing gear. The bedroom has a large bed (queen?) and a bunk bed. There is a Roku TV screen in there (no TV in the living room, but TV isn't why you go to the Northeast Kingdom). The kitchen area, which is essentially part of the large living room area, is a bit limited, so keep your meal prep simple. The hosts are quite friendly and communicative, while allowing you your privacy. All in all, this new offering in Burke is an excellent value and a fantastic value--I highly recommend booking it for your Northeast Kingdom adventures.

Our guest house is close to many local activities and attractions, including Kingdom Trails mountain biking, V.A.S.T. trail snowmobiling, Burke Mountain Resort and beautiful Lake Willoughby. A detached studio with a full kitchen including a refrigerator, range with oven, toaster, coffee pot, silverware, glassware, and cookware. • This is a great little cabin. It does get tight with two people and sports gear (ice climbing), but a nice kitchen space, which is useful since there’s not much dining in the area. A great place for enjoying Lake Willoughby.

    Kel2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy space for two. Affordable and within easy distance to the area's fun outdoor amenities. For those sensitive to sound, do note that the furnace hums around 35 dBA periodically.

    Benjamin2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cute small place to spend time with your family. Easy to find and only a 10 min drive to Burke Mnt and to mnt bike trails. Great spot for weekend getaway

  • Perfect stay at Legend's Cottage. It was a bit cold inside so make sure you plan your stay accordingly (especially in October), but with the campfire outside and the propane heater inside it made such a great rustic vibe. I recommend it!

UPDATE 8/5: SlTE CLOSED UNTIL BUILDING FINISHED. WILL OPEN CALENDAR BACK UP WHEN FINISHED. THE STRUCTURE- Unavailable for construction for new Airbnb. We are starting this transition in June. You'll love staying on our property because you'll have full access to the 7 acres. We live the next town over. Less then 10 minutes away. Complete privacy from any neighbor. Our property has the VAST trail directly attached. During the Summer/Spring/Fall seasons you can walk to the trail.
The area is in the country but a located close to small towns for needs. Cabot is 5 minutes away, Danville is 10 away and Hardwick is 15 minutes away. You can't see the neighbors. But if loud enough they may here you or vice versa. We had many family get togethers when my dad lived across the street with fire works for 4th of July with no complaints. I want guest to have fun but please no fights or yelling. Should the neighbors complain we may not be able to continue the camping fun.
  • I had an awesome time staying on Jessica’s property. It was in a beautiful location perfect for my mountain biking trip. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating while still giving me plenty of privacy. Can’t wait to come back!

    Jameson2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The property is wonderful, secluded and quiet, and they have provided wonderful accommodations for a camp spot. Our pup loves being able to run around and as our second stay here we had some friends join us with their dog as well. The night sky is clear and gorgeous, and we were close enough to town to take a half day trip in to explore. We highly recommend their property.

    Mikaila2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding stay! I was totally expecting just a plot of grass begat I could set up a tent on, but Jessica and her family blew me away! The were super helpful when suggesting good local breakfast places with real Vermont maple syrup too! 10/10 would come back if I’m in Vermont again!

    Noah2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing spot! The property is beautiful and secluded. We had a great time and for a camp site there were more amenities than we ever would have expected or needed. They communicated with us quickly and stopped by when we arrived to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed. We didn't leave the site but they had a book with some area places to eat and see. Definitely recommend staying here, we will be for sure.

Nestled in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont on a maple lined country road at the base of Burke Mountain and 2.5 miles from the town of East Burke you will relax and refresh in the calm and comfort of a private wing of a beautiful circa 1835 brick farm house. Enjoy the views of Burke Mountain, our picturesque farm pond, and walks through our maple sugar woods. We are minutes from Burke Mountain, around the corner from the Kingdom Trails, VAST trails and hiking trails.
The House was first house built in the Town of Burke in 1795. Originally a 300 acre farm, it was owed by the Walter Family and its descendants until 1992. The bricks form the main part of the house and were transported to Burke via ox cart in the early 1800's. You will be transported back in time staying in an authentic New England farm house. You will enter through your own private entrance. The Main floor is comprised of a large, spacious and comfortable living room with small dining table. There is a small fridge, cooktop, microwave, toaster and keurig for your dining convenience inside; and a barbecue outside for your use. The downstairs bath is the first bathroom built in the town of Burke and has a beautiful, authentic claw foot porcelain bath tub. The second floor has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with stall shower. All the stenciling is original and the pine flooring was logged off of this land. You will have access to a shed to store your bikes and a hose to wash it off. Go for a relaxing swim in a nearby pond or river. Come and relax in a piece of history, step back in time and rejuvenate.
Nestled in the farmland of the Northeast Kingdom and looking out upon Burke Mountain. The rolling hills and maple sugar woods of Burke make this setting unique and memorable. The farm has been both a Morgan horse farm and Jersey cow farm for the past 221 years. Most of the people who live in the area were born and raised here and have stayed to raise their families in this special and unique part of the world. You will be treated to rolling hills, scenic vistas, open panoramas, and charming sugar woods and a myriad of animals both domestic and wild.
  • This is an outstanding place to stay: clean, comfortable, cozy. Heather provides great hospitality, including delicious “goodies”. It’s in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Hope to return again!

    Dulany2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed at Heather's place several times since 2017 - it's the first place I try to book when I go to the Kingdom Trails. Quiet, relaxing, and comfortable are just a few of the many reasons to stay here. This place (and Heather's hospitality) never disappoints.

    Sean2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A true home away from home!

    Greg2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We were there to snowmobile, easy access to trial head. You do have to ride the road to a field, less then a eighth of a mile. We had snow on the side of the road to ride. Heather and her place - perfect. We would stay there again.

    Colette2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful location, in a well maintained and clean home, cared for by considerate owners.

    Kay2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Heather’s beautiful old farmhouse is a magical place to stay in the Northeast Kingdom with a stunning view of Burke Mountain in the front yard. The village and the mountain are just a few miles away.

  • Kelsey's yurt was the perfect spot for my brother and I to meet up for some quality time off the grid together with my pup. The location is perfect if you're planning to ride Kingdom Trails—a stone's throw away, yet tucked quietly in the woods. Close to so many other offerings in the NEK too. We picked up some charcoal to cook over the grill, and cozied up by a fire... ate blackberries on the walk up the hill for a view of the fall colors in the mountains... wish we didn't have to leave, and psyched to return!

    Maggie2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Kelsey’s yurt! The location is fantastic and it had everything we needed for glamping. Kelsey’s communication was timely and overall everything was fantastic start to finish! I would definitely stay here again!

    Jenai2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Very cozy and secluded, had an amazing time by fire before the storm hit!

    Shirley2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • This spot was great! Simple and private with good amenities for camping. Stars were amazing!

    Matt2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kelsey's little slice of heaven is the perfect glamping spot in the NEK. Secluded, peaceful, and just minutes away from Burke. We will definitely be staying here again for our next Kingdom trip!

    Ian2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect situation for those who like to camp and bike. All the best parts of camping - a fire, beautiful star-lit sky, fresh air and freedom - with added benefits of a bed, shower, and running water! We loved the yurt and location so much we wished we hadn’t booked a hotel for the following night, we would have MUCH rather stayed another night at the yurt! We were pleasantly surprised that the outdoor shower had HOT water and the location was super private. The yurt is ideally located if you have plans to bike at Kingdom Trails (which you should). We are already planning our trip back next year! Loved it.

    Miranda2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We didn’t end up staying but her communication was quick and detailed.

    Casey2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful spot! The yurt is super cute and the outdoor shower is heaven after a day biking. Very close to Kingdom Trails.

  • I stay often at Melissa's place when I'm in the Northeast Kingdom for outdoor activities. Her place is cozy and Melissa is an all star host. Definitely recommended!

    Chris2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa's place was perfect for our little hiking holiday in the Whites! The room was comfy and warm and we had everything we needed. We arrived late after bad traffic on the way up and Melissa was very accommodating with helping us check in anyway. Also, their dogs and kitties are super cute! Would recommend :)

    Joyce2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • I’ve stayed at Melissa’s place several times (work related) ans it’s always a pleasure. Do be aware that in the winter it is necessary to park your car up a hill away from the house. If you are mobility limited, this could be an issue.

    Kel2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa and Bob's place is cozy and quintessentially Vermont. They are both very friendly and laidback. Great proximity to Saint J, value, and communication. The sweet pets are a bonus as well! Will be staying here again- highly recommend!

    Joyce2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa and Bob were great hosts. We were looking for an affordable place to sleep and shower before hiking and their home was perfect. Despite no heat upstairs we stayed perfectly warm with a space heater and electric blanket. We loved their two dogs and cats. Melissa and Bob were kind and welcoming. • Very cute, cozy cabin by the lake. We didn't get the most out of the location because of bad weather but would recommend it.

    Paul2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures DEFINITELY don’t do this place justice. It was absolutely stunning and the perfect time of year to see Shadow Lake. The fall-color reflection on the water was a beauty to behold. I stayed in the loft and my aunt downstairs. I stayed up a bit later to take some long-exposure pictures of the lake at night, which was a lot of fun. The next morning, we went to breakfast at the Busy Bee, which was a perfect start to our day in Vermont. I’d stay here again :)

    Kyle2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed for a night in early October; it was a perfect spot for an evening in the NEK. We took a nap the moment we arrived, then drove up to Parker Pie for an amazing dinner. Then back to the cabin with a couple cans of beer, put Safe House into the DVD player, and cozied up on the couch. In the morning we made coffee and walked along the shore of the lake. We’ll be back for sure!!

  • Lovely and quaint little spot with water views and small private beach. Great option of kayaking which we would have utilized had the weather been warmer. Everything we needed for a lovely evening and morning. A true NEK gem :) great that it was dog friendly as well!

This magical Lodge is on 100 acres of farmland with an amazing view of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and multiple amenities. It is operated on solar power with a backup generator and has been the venue for many types of events - weddings, reunions, corporate retreats. We do not live at this property, it is entirely yours during your visit. We know you will love your time at the Lodge no matter your length of that stay! NOTE- Our Lodge is closed for the Winter season, November 1 to May 1.
There is a large orchard at the lodge filled with apple trees of all varieties. Many times you may witness the wildlife of Vermont who share this property, wild turkeys, deer etc. Your pet is welcome to roam the 100 acres too.
We are located about 3 miles from the little village of North Danville on a small dirt road. When you turn off this road to go to the lodge you will think you are driving through the farmland and you are. About 3/4 mile up the road the lodge will be on your right, not visible from the Old North Church Road. The sign at the edge of the field says Curt’s Vance Memorial Orchard private, it is not private but because it is a regular Vermont street sign it must say private because it only goes to the Lodge. Enjoy your stay in the Vermont Country!
  • Wow this place was amazing. It is a gorgeous cabin with so much space. The perfect camp get away for friends or family. We were only here one night but we hope to come back again soon. It had everything!

  • Linda was a lovely host and the log cabin was comfortable, cozy and just beautiful. My two little dogs joined us for their first 'vacation' and I've never seen them happier! We had a fun time at the Laconia Pumpkin Festival, we enjoyed the delicious hand pies made by Linda and felt calm and rested when looking up at the night sky and seeing millions of stars! Beautiful spot, Wonderful host!

    Donna2019-10-20T00:00:00Z

Linda and her sister Susan were very hospitable and warm. It is rustic but in a good way. We would definitely come back!

The cabin is a great place to escape from it all! The custom made cedar hot tub is hot and ready all winter. Cold, snowy nights make for excellent tub time!! Inside the cabin is warm and has the comfort of home. Want to ski? Two ski resorts are 30 minutes from us.
Nestled in the hilled forest behind our home, the Vermont Tree Cabin (16' by 12', 190 sq ft) is a great, quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While lounging on the deck or hot tub, you will be able to enjoy the calm and serenity of the outdoors, but still have the comfort of home in our authentic cabin lodging. Built in 2004, the cabin was temporally used as a home for our family while we built our house. The cabin has been completely renovated with custom tile shower, rustic hickory floors, knotty pine walls/ceiling, a kitchen area including a sink, Induction Hot Plate, small refrigerator, microwave, waffle maker, coffee maker, HD TV, DVD player with small selection of movies, good cell service (ATT & Verizon), 500 gallon custom cedar hot tub, Wireless internet, gas grill, rock fire-pit, picnic table and a 250 sq. ft. deck that is built into and around oak trees. One of our greatest amenities of the cabin is the custom built, white cedar hot tub. Maintained at 100- 104F degrees, the hot tub is ready for your use all year round, 24 hours a day; all you need to do is slide the cover off, relax and enjoy. While relaxing in the tub, be sure to enjoy watching the flames of a fire from the fire pit right off the deck. Our other amenities and services are as follows: Bedding – One full size memory foam bed and one single cot that can be included upon request. Food – Coffee, tea, waffle mix (make your own), Vermont maple syrup. Parking – private driveway and parking area for cabin guests. The cabin is completely insulated and heated, so we invite you to enjoy it any time of the year. Maid service - We do not provide turn down service or housekeeping in the cabin during your visit, but will make adjustments upon request. As we are located in the North East Kingdom of Vermont, the area offers many activities and events for your enjoyment. Our area is well known for some of our Ski Mountains and Resorts including Burke Mountain and Jay Peak. There are many other outdoor activities including boating and paddling, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, etc. But don’t forget to check out some of Vermont’s well-known covered bridges, sugar houses, breweries, and farms as well. P.S. It’s great exercise walking from the parking area to the cabin. It’s only 150 feet away but a beautiful uphill stroll on a mix of well-lit paths and stairs.
Our property is private yet only minutes away from downtown. Saint Johnsbury is a typical small town that has a few shops, restaurants and stores. Most of our guests enjoy outdoor activities when they visit. Hiking and biking trails, ski mountains and lakes are all within 30 minutes of us.
  • Perfect weekend getaway!! Very relaxing.

  • Andrew & Marilou's place was exactly as we expected. It was clean & cozy! The fire place & hot tub were perfect as they allowed us to be outside on a cold winter night. Please note, they do not provide firewood, so make sure to bring some (they did sell some at the hardware store). They did provide boozy waffles which were delicious & fun to make on a slow morning! We would definitely come back & we are hoping to check out their other tree house!

    Brittany2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Such a peaceful retreat in Andrew & Marilou's treecabin - clean, quiet, comfortable, and secluded - with the hot tub and the waffles, it was exactly what we needed :) Definitely recommend

    Akhil2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Marilou’s Tree Cabin was a great getaway where we were able to relax and unwind for a few days! Great touches like the hot tub and the delicious waffles made our stay exceptional. We really appreciated the care put into the cabin itself and the hospitality. It was great to see some snow this winter, we’d love to come back to experience Vermont in another season!

    Bryan2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the most relaxing getaways I've been on. We even took our 3month old and it was so peaceful.

    Timothy2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was the most perfect, unique, serene and adorable little treehouse cabin/location and we could not have had a better time! Ideal little hideout for a short, romantic getaway!! Great experience and extremely clean which we REALLY appreciate!! The waffles were a one of a kind sort of amenity, we enjoyed them SOO much! The Apple jack ones were our favorite! Marilou and Andrew are extremely quick with communication and so very kind and welcoming! They also left TONS of information about the area and all of the funn activities to do! Our absolute FAVORITE and most exciting, beautiful thing we did this weekend was the sleigh ride we went on that was only 30 minutes away!! Thomas and his enormous, handsome Belgium horse, Pete, gave us the best experience we could have ever had on this random little getaway! With blankets, hot chocolate and all, they took us around to the most beautiful sights in VT and gave us a free bottle of their homemade maple syrup!! It is called Chandler Hill Farm on Bayley-Hazen Road in West Danville, VT! Wonderful family! We also got a couple beers and some yummy wood fired pizza at Shillings only about 5 minutes away from the cabin! We even got to stop and hike at the Quechee Gorge on the way home as well!! So much to do and so relaxing all at the same time! :) Do not hesitate to rent this place, you will not regret it!! Best thing we could have ever done, so special. <3

  • Absolutely serene space. Up, tucked in with the trees with such a calm peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful little cabin with everything you need. The hot tub was perfect while being surrounded by snow! Marliou met us upon arriving and was a great host. There are a few restaurants in the area. Would recommend for a real getaway away from everything!

    Jennifer2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved how quaint and homey this tree cabin was! We loved the waffles and sitting out in the cozy hot tub even when it was -20 degrees outside! It truly was magical! Thank you Andrew and Marilou for hosting such a wonderful place!

  • The closet space was wonderful, the floors and bathrooms were beautiful! The home was decorated for Christmas (must be year round) and the beautiful decor was on every surface. We carefully moved several things to be able to set things down and function, especially in the bedrooms. We would happily stay here again and will recommend to friends. The location was perfect for exploring Vermont and the White Mountains!

Tiny, cozy, off-grid camp cabin on 14 acres in an old orchard clearing in the forest in the Lake Willoughby town of Westmore. Being off-grid, the cabin has no electricity, heats with a wood stove, and facilities are an outhouse with a composting toilet. Nestled in the majestic Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, sleep tucked in a loft. In the warmer months, have a glass of wine by the fire under the stars, in winter, by the wood stove. Enjoy... See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=574OLxvJmYM
In the warm months, stomp the streams that run the property and put your toes in Lake Willoughby as you sip coffee in the morning. Throughout the year, draw water from the stream. Launch your kayak or go mountain biking. In the winter months, cross-country or downhill ski at Burke, Craftsbury, local state and national parks, or Kingdom Trails Association. Fat bike winter or summer. Enjoy...
Our neighborhood consists of a few homes which share Coles Mountain and the eye-popping views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. There is a golf course run by Mr. Cole, who is a maple sugaring master, born on the mountain some time ago. There is an amazing wedding venue called the Little Wedding Barn run by his daughter with stunning views.
  • Wonderful place! Very quiet region with good trekking. We had a very good stay. The communication with Amy is very simple and all the instructions are very clear. I really recommend this place.

    Steve2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect, adorable cabin. Clean and meticulously organized. A fun tree swing. Not as buggy as we expected. Convenient to Lake Willoughby but off the beaten path. The cutest, cleanest outhouse ever.

    Cristin2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a haven. You feel as if you're in your own magical world, a world that (thank you Amy and Fire Guru!) has been very thoughtfully arranged. The cabin, though small, feels inviting, cozy, and comforting, with everything in its right place. A stream runs nearby (a one minute walk into the forest) for a cool morning dip, and the lake is a pretty drive away (perhaps three minutes). I am eager to return!

    Jacob2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Amy & Brian's cabin is one of the most magical places we've had the pleasure of staying. Not only is the cabin perfect, but the property it lies on is absolutely gorgeous. Think old growth apple trees under a deep blue sky, with a nice breeze blowing through the open field. It's off the beaten path, making it truly private, while also being just up the road from the lake and other amenities. The cabin itself was easy to find and even easier to relax into. It's one of those places where you just immediately feel at home. The care and planning that went into the property is quite apparent, with a beautiful (seriously) outhouse, outdoor solar shower, large stone-lined fire pit, picnic table w/ umbrella, chairs, wash basin, etc. There are mini gardens scattered about and birds chirping. It's truly a happy place to be. The nighttime revealed one of the clearest skies we've seen in a LONG time, with countless shooting stars. The spiral arms of the Milky Way were very visible. A thunderstorm rolled in around bedtime and lulled us to sleep. The sleeping loft has two large windows that push open so you can keep them open even during the rain. Like other reviews mention, the battery powered LED lighting (candles/led strips) are generously located in every nook of the cabin, along with solar lighting in front of the outhouse, making it more than easy to find your way outside or hang out and play card games in the cabin at night. Even if Lake Willoughby wasn't 5 minutes down the road, this place would be worth a stay, but seeing that the lake is so close, it just adds to the allure. We easily popped our kayak into the lake at the closest boat launch and adventured for hours. A quick trip to Lyndonville offered a wonderful diner for breakfast as well as lunch at a delicious deli/store, along with a little resupply at a local market. Do not hesitate to stay here. Unplug, relax, and revitalize.

    Matt2019-07-29T00:00:00Z

  • Jill’s cabin is so ideal for a New England weekend getaway! The cabin is so homey and has spectacular views. Everything from the fire pit, to Lake Harvey, to the surrounding outdoors is wonderful. We came up in the fall to enjoy the foliage and weren’t disappointed! 10/10 would recommend and will visit again in the future!

  • Wow! My husband and I have stayed in numerous Airbnb’s and this was one of the best. We absolutely loved staying here - such an adorable and clean, cozy space. Richard and his wife and such generous hosts with thoughtful touches like homemade bread and other refreshments stocked in the tiny, cute kitchen. We loved our trip “fat biking” in the NEK. Richard was able to give us great biking tips. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning our return trip this summer - we plan to stay here again and hopefully be able to take advantage of Richard’s mountain bike guide services. 10/10 would recommend.

The covered bike storage out back was a bonus, and there was a hose to wash our bikes as needed. Communication and check in was super easy. No one was staying in the rest of the house while we were there, so it was very private. We would definitely stay again!

  • We had booked this cabin for a weekend getaway, and that was exactly what we got.. Jake was very quick in responding and went out of way to help us. Gave us some good suggestions for restaurants around. Tim's brother in law was around, so helped us find the cabin. Would love to book it again sometime.

    Dhwani2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place!

    Jonathan2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Tim’s place was exactly what we expected. It’s location is a great place to get rolling in the morning right at the base of Skydive/Farm Junk / White School. The cabin is dry and cozy and there’s a nice grassy area to hang outside. Propane stove works well. This is a Great alternative to a camp ground. You’re vehicle will need some ground clearance especially loaded up with bikes and gear but we had no issues with large SUVs and a truck. Communication with Tim was real good too.

    Jay2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Tim's place is exactly what I was looking for--a no frills cabin close to the trails. If you want to drive all the way to the cabin, you'll definitely need four wheel drive and good clearance, but it's not a bad walk otherwise. The location is right in the trails and feels like you're in the middle of the woods, even though you're super close to East Burke

    Julia2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is an excellent home-base when mountain biking or hiking in the NE Kingdom. It is as pictured and a fun place to stay for those who want to get away and don't mind roughing it a bit. The cabin was well stocked with toilet paper and other necessities but you'll need to carry in your own water. Your car is a 10 minute walk away and there, you can access a hose to fill water bottles. Overall, Tim's cabin is an amazing place to go unplug.

Birdhous in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Right off of Route 16 and less than a mile from interstate 91 for easy access to area attractions or rest along your route. This season, we're offering our guests room by room rentals, hoping to connect more with and to bring better energy into our hous than has been offered when renting the whole place as a private space. To note: we offer all of our bedrooms this way and you are likely to be sharing spaces with other budget Airbnb guests.
  • This is a perfect place to stay if you just need a place to sleep without expecting too much. The beds are comfortable, there’s plenty of towels in the bathroom and you’re close to the highway. The stairs and doors are a bit creaky but you are in an old farmhouse. I would easily stay here again. Tip: Go to The Parker Pie Company (7 mins away) for great beer and pizza!

    Austin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the farmhous was good. It is very farmy. The cats are extremely friendly and will try to be your friend instantly! Jes is helpful and responsive. The room is spacious, minimalist, and clean, adequate for a night to rest before hitting the road, and the living/dining room space is comfortable as well. If you are looking for privacy, this place is less ideal, as you can hear what is going on in the other rooms and in the bathroom, and the staircase leading to the room (there are 2 on 2nd floor) is creaky. All in all, good place for good value.

    Meilani2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, a true farmhouse. Well worth for the price

    Emily2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Clean. Helpful, functional touches with hooks, mirrors, table surfaces, and power extension cord in bedroom. Great communication. No frills, cost-friendly, exactly what I was looking for.

  • Good value

    Dominic2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place comes at an unbelievable value! The pictures are a very accurate depiction of the space, it was what I had expected and more! The living area is very nice, very comfy living room. The kitchen is perfect for a short term stay. The room was comfortable, and the beds were clean and there were plenty of covers to keep warm. The house is well heated and the wifi has great speed. Jess provides a nice library in the living room and a very comfortable couch. The bathroom is a little small, but at such a great price, you can’t ask for anything more! Everything that Jess provides for at this price is simply incredible! This is the best deal I’ve ever found on Airbnb! I would definitely recommend!

My place is close to great views, the lake, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities. Very close to Burke mountain and The Kingdom Trails!. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
Camp Niagara is cute one room camp w/ 2 full beds. It can hold 1 to 4 people. It comes w/ an outhouse. It also comes w/ LARGE fire pit and we supply wood for campfire. It has a propane water heated outdoor shower. It is private - $55 for one guest, $25 for each additional guests. So come Glamping with us !!!
  • We had a great night here. The kids loved it.

  • Love staying at Rae-Kim’s cabins. Super convenient for mountain biking, low frill, but nice to have a roof over your head for those rainy nights!

  • Next time I’m in the area this is where I will be staying! It’s awesome quiet and relaxing!!

  • Rae-Kim was kind and helpful. It was a great place to stay after riding all day!

  • Returned to the RKS cabins for the second time. Still a fantastic place to stay for my friends and I who came to Burke for biking on Kingdom trails. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure the guests are happy and the cabins are well maintained. Hopefully we will be back again next year!

    James2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect spot to have a quiet and rustic getaway. Thank you so much!

    Gideon2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin is larger than I expected and very private. The large fire pit with free wood was great. Plenty of hot water from the shower. Overall, a great value considering the trails are so close by.

Unplug, relax, and marvel in a magical tiny house in the woods of the Kingdom. Perched high on a mountainside, this little cabin sits surrounded by towering sugar maples. It is a step back in time — a place to read, hike, create, and recharge. Enjoy cozy evenings by the warm glow of a wood stove. Explore thousands of acres of forest by snowshoe, ski, or foot. Eat fresh eggs from our chickens. Minutes from Caspian & Shadow Lake, Parker Pie, Craftsbury Outdoor Center, and Hill Farmstead Brewery.
**Read this: this is a rustic cabin — water comes by operating a foot pump by the sink. There is a shower in the main house or gym across the street. You’ll need to bring a couple bundles of firewood in the winter AND be okay with using an outhouse. There IS electricity.** **As much as we love them, no pets in the cabin — not even our own dog.** I had a dream of living in a tiny house in the woods when I was very young. I still remember every detail — a little kitchenette, a cozy bed, some skis outside the door, a whole mountain range out the front window. In October 2019, my brother and I finished the Analog Cabin, and it seems that dream has come to life. Named the Analog Cabin because it’s also where we write and record music, this cabin has been a true labor of love. Each of the logs weighs between two and four thousand pounds. Every notch was carved by hand. We improvised a lot as we went. As you approach the Analog Cabin, you’ll notice you're climbing higher and higher. That’s because you’re entering the highland snow belt of Beach Hill, a veritable Narnia within an already snowy state. As you pull into our little pocket of the forest, the cabin will appear through the trees. Inside you’ll find a luxuriously comfortable American Leather Comfort Sleeper queen-sized bed, a writing desk/table, a bookshelf made of repurposed antique delivery boxes, and a tiny kitchenette with a mini-fridge, induction cooktop, and toaster oven. Then there’s trusty Jove the Stove in the corner, ready to heat the cabin and create the perfect atmosphere on cozy nights. Spring, summer, fall, winter — The Analog Cabin is a fairytale come to life. **Our house is about 50 feet from the cabin and is fully visible from the porch. You can take a shower there if you’d like, or go to the gym just down the road. We’re still building our house and are happy to chat about the process of homesteading in the modern world. **You’ll need to bring bundles of firewood to help keep our supply in stock (1-2 per day). We’ll tell you the best places to get a bundle once you book, including a discount code for our local store. **Kitchen includes a hot plate, microwave, and mini-fridge, but is not equipped for full-on cooking. **Driving in the Northeast Kingdom in the winter is no joke. Snow tires, all-wheel drive, and/or front-wheel drive are recommended. Our road and driveway are plowed. **The cabin is about 12 minutes from the supermarket in Barton, 12 minutes from the Craftsbury General Store, and 15 minutes from the Willeys’ Store in Greensboro. You are nearby tons of pristine lakes and rivers, the best brewery in the world (no joke — look up Hill Farmstead Brewery), the best cheesemaker in the world (Jasper Hill Farm....also no joke), nordic skiing at Craftsbury Outdoor Center, mountain biking at Kingdom Trails, and ski resorts such as Stowe, Burke Mountain, Jay Peak, and many more. Check in: 2pm or later Check out: 11am
Parker Pie, arguably the most famous pizza place in Vermont, is right down the road! A little farther is the Barton Bakery and Parson's Corner (excellent brunch/lunch). In the other direction are mouth-watering meals at the Craftsbury General Store and the Willeys'.
  • Thinking dark but cozy? I was, but found light, lofty and cozy! Massive logs form the walls of the Analogue house that Kyle (and bro) built. A great host, Kyle has made elegant, thoughtful use of space and amenities. Light gray runs through the inside with a large slab of grey marble as a base for the little wood stove that could ( keep you nice and warm). The pale gray sofa yields a comfortable, supportive queen size mattress. Grab a book from the North Woods library corner and hunker down for a seasonal read or nap. Hungry? Function changes with color in the cheery red and yellow kitchen corner. Kettle, hot pad and toaster oven. Foot pump for water. Finally tuck tongue in cheek and check out the latch of the out-house—hmm, or have you instead been sent to the dog house? Do Have fun!

  • The Analog Cabin is truly a magical and memorable place. We came when it surprisingly snowed a foot and a half, and the wood stove was able to keep us at a perfect temperature. Kyle was extremely hospitable, and we felt as though we could go to him for anything we could have needed. The view in the morning outside of the cabin is spectacular, and we actually spent most of our day in the cabin because we didn't want to leave! :) You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the building of this place. It was extremely clean and cozy. We were able to heat up a bunch of food for dinner, and make our own breakfast with provided local eggs on the hot plate in the kitchenette. I would highly recommend staying here in any season if you are looking for an NEK getaway. :)

    Emma2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a perfect escape from anywhere you need escaping from! Kyle was exceptionally accommodating by starting a fire and preparing the cabin before our late arrival. He also made an extra effort to make sure we had access to showers if we needed them. The kitchenette was very functional and easy to use. The space is very thoughtful and cozy, and the views out the window were fabulous. We enjoyed exploring the area (cheese, beer, skiing, pizza) and reading some of the books by local authors that were in the cabin. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone who enjoys peace, nature, and woodburning stoves!

    Jillian2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • As host, Kyle is absolutely amazing and care about your stay. It’s a peacefull place where you can breathe fresh air and relax away from the city, I totally recommend!!! We went to mount Pisgah that is really close to the cabin (amazing in winter) and also the Hill Farmstead Brewery (also close to the cabin), it was a great week-end !

    Jérôme2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Analog Cabin is very cute, cozy and surrounded by an amazing landscape. Kyle is a perfect host : very helpfull, friendly and full of good advices. We will return and I definitaly recommand this place.

    Magalie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kyle is a great host! We had clear directions for everything - how to get to the cabin, details about the outhouse, how to build a fire etc... The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking and the location was perfect for us - close enough to get to town but far enough to feel like you're in the woods.

    Tiffany2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome stay, would highly recommend! Kyle is a great host, beautiful cabin and really fun area.

    Heather2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in the cabin! It is a beautiful and functional little space with a great view. It was a fun game to keep the wood stove stoked all day. The kitchen was surprisingly functional and well stocked considering it is small. Kyle was a fantastic host, giving us local tips and even shoveling out our car for us after a snowstorm! He also lent us his snowshoes so we could explore the cross country ski trails through the woods around the property. Overall a phenomenal spot and would definitely visit again!

Quaint log cabin. Access to Coronary on Kingdom Trails is right across the road! Sleeps 1-4. Upstairs bedroom has a king bed that can be split into two twin XL beds...whatever works best for you. Futon in downstairs living area can sleep 2. We also have two memory foam folding beds available if sleeping on a futon isn't your thing for the 3rd/ 4th guests.
Russell was a good dog. He was our neighbor's Jack Russell. (So was his mother, Jackie) Russell loved to visit the cabin. We hope that you will too!
Russell's Cabin is located at the end of a private road with plenty of privacy.
  • Our second stay at Russell’s Cabin was just as great as the first. The space is adorable, extremely tidy, and stocked with everything you might need. Tanya is a wonderful, accommodating host, and we look forward to our next visit!

  • Cozy cabin with nice personal touches and charm. Convenient location for xc skiing.

    Jim2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was magical. A beautiful space, thoughtful touches, and great communication made our stay one to remember. The cabin is meticulously clean and beautiful on the inside. It was a great jumping off point for nearby adventures.

  • Our stay in Burke was perfect, thanks to Tanya and Stu! They communicated quickly and even gave us a heads up about the weather. Our favorite part was the hand written note, maple syrup, and board games. We also enjoyed getting to meet both of them, since this doesn't happen often with AirBnBs. Amazing work to the both of them, we can't wait to visit again!

    Alexander2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Best cabin stay you can find via Airbnb. Perfect to disconnect from everything and enjoy spending time with friends. Cabin is protected by Annie (cutest golden retriever, she loves petting :) ).

  • If you want the little cabin in the woods experience look no further. We loved our little cabin retreat and will be back.

    Richard2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Second time there, and I would still highly recommend it. Great host, great place, great location!

    Philippe2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tanya & Stu's log cabin was quintessential Vermont at its best. The cabin was extremely clean and we found maple syrup and fresh eggs upon our arrival. We were also greeted by Tanya & Stu's adorable dogs. Communication was extremely easy, quick and friendly. There isn't any wifi, which they were very up front about, but I think it's nice to unplug and relax for a while without being tied to your phone and other technology. The location is great and is about a mile from town and close to biking/hiking trails. I think this cabin is a great value and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Come and embrace the majestic beauty of Vermont from Sugar Hill, a quaint log cabin nestled on 24 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.

Great cabin, close drive to Jay Peak, and just amazing setting and cozy cabin features. John is also a great host to work with, very easy to reach out to and very easy process to check in/out. Hopefully we get to come back next year. Angelo

  • Danielle and Jon have set up a beautifully appointed Airbnb space. The area was extremely well appointed and filled with beautiful and useful details--bottled water, tasty bars, and tea and coffee. The linens were abundant and the air mattress for our extra guest was big and comfy. The view from the living area was incredible! Burke Mountain looms large over a gorgeous NE Kingdom woodland. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the entire space was warm and clean. Danielle and Jon had the walkway perfectly cleared (we had a large snowstorm the night before) and the motion lights made the trip down to the room bright and safe. We enjoyed looking over the map with the pins in the hallway that must be detailing the countries and states they have visited, and we appreciated the personal touches in the rooms. Everything was cozy and comfortable, and we plan to stay again when we visit the area.

    Adam2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Danielle & Jon give clear instructions on how to use their facility and provide enough suggestions to explore the local areas with ease. Staying with his lovely couple was such a pleasure. Everything is neat and clean with everything within reach. Their responses are quick to any question that may arise, and even check with the tenets to make sure they aren’t in any need. Meeting Danielle and thanking her in person was also such a nice touch! Highly recommend staying here!
