The cabin is located right by the lake. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Perfect for a winter getaway for my husband and I. It was frigidly cold the night we were there and the cabin was nice and warm!We look forward to staying here again. The walls between cabin 1 and 2 are quite thin so would be ideal if you are friends with the people in the next cabin.

Spotless, stylish, warm and cozy. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. It’s was a cold blistering stormy night, the room was warm and inviting when I walked in. The bed was comfortable, added touches toiletries, coffee, everything you could need. I can imagine in the summer this place would be even better and I hope to have to come out this way in the summer. Highly recommend this place. The value for the price is perfect. Thank you!

This place is in the perfect location with a view of lake simcoe and the awesome sunsets! Nice and clean living space , great value and easy check- in process, and the man at the front desk was extremely friendly! Will definitely be back to this hidden gem for future trips to Lake Simcoe! Steve

Very nice place with a great location right on the lake. It’s a motel so you can’t expect the homey touches you get at many other airbnb’s but it’s still great value for anyone staying in the area. Very clean and they had the heat on when I arrived which was a nice touch! I’d definitely stay here again!

I have no words to describe my wonderful stay at Ellen’s place. This is by far my best airbnb stay in past 5 years. Her home is reflection of her personality which is mix of vibrance, positivity, cheerfulness and purity. Her house is sparkling clean and is well decorated with colour scheme of green and blue. The location of the house is perfect cos its faces the lake. When you wake up in the morning you will hear the birds tweeting and sound of waves from the lake. I was celebrating special occasion and had registered for the dinning experience which was by far my best decision. Her food was out of this world because it had a special ingredient “LOVE”. Her love and passion for cooking was reflected in each and every dish she had cooked for us. Since I mentioned to her that we like Mangoes and Almond she made this special Dessert of Almond with Mangoes which by far is one of the best dessert I have ever tasted. One more important thing is her respect for your privacy. During our stay, she made sure we were never disturbed and we had at-most privacy ( I recollect when she greeted us on our arrival she told us to feel free and relax around the house - which she actually meant). Overall our stay was so blissful that it helped us de-stress, relax and cleanse our mind. Hats off to you Ellen for giving us this experience.

The river view was perfectly beautiful! Such an awesome fall view. Great value with lots of space for multiple guests if there are a few people in your party. Coffee was provided, so that’s an automatic 10/10 stars in my book, lol! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute nature getaway.

Norm and RuthAnn’s place was amazing! We visited for two nights and only wish we would have booked more time. It’s the perfect place for your getaway! It’s close to so many amenities if you’re up for day trips. The hot tub stole the show for us! It was perfect for the cool autumn evenings we had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Very accessible for families as well. The private beach is a quick, short walk, and we enjoyed it in the mornings with our coffee watching the beautiful fall colours! We will be back and are going to try their other location, The Love Shack, next summer too! Thanks for the great hospitality!!

We are so happy we chose to spend Thanksgiving at this cozy little cottage. Norm was so helpful when showing us around the cabin on our arrival. So many games and movies to choose from...and close to some great hiking trails to see the fall colours! The highlight had to be that hot tub ...an excellent way to start and end the day. I love this cute little cottage it’s now my yearly retreat. It’s filled with activities (hot tub, DVDs, board and card games, books, radio, fire pit) and has tones of charm. The hosts are great at check in and at communicating. The location is perfect for visiting the Torrance Barns dark sky preserve, hiking, and antiquing, but the hot tub is the best.

The location is super convenient to get to from highway 11. Such an idyllic cottage with some great space in the back. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Such a clean quiet retreat, would suggest to anyone looking for an escape outta the city !

Norm and RuthAnn were amazing hosts! They’re little cabin was everything we could ask for! We had an amazing time using the kayaks at the nearby Lake, and a Bonfire every-night at the huge fire pit! They were very responsive and greeted us with cookies when we arrived! Also the HotTub was a huge hit with the whole family! I would definitely recommend their place for a little getaway! 5 stars for sure!

A beautiful cottage that is still close enough to amenities like parks, grocery stores, & restaurants. Very relaxing atmosphere with plenty of spaces to relax like the porch, deck, dock or around the fire. The kitchen and laundry facilities make it very manageable for a family if you want a longer stay as well. Overall a great location and I would definitely recommend it!

I planned a long weekend with my 65plus years old parent visiting from Italy and this place was just a beautiful gem in the Green river. The location is perfect (only 1.4h from Toronto) perfect gateway form city. The house has everything you need for your stay: from the cute fully stocked kitchen to the amazing BBQ area and gorgeous relaxing patio...and the amazing water tools ;). I am truly recommend Christine's place and will def go back next summer!!

Marty and Mike’s bunky was the perfect place for a mini vacation. Very cozy space that was kept warm despite the freezing temperatures. They checked in with me to make sure everything was going well multiple times. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Marty and Mike's place was astounding and very cozy even though we came in cold weather! I loved playing with their two dogs, and the breakfast they sell is worth every penny. Their hospitality is nothing like i've experienced before at any other Airbnb and I would definitely come back here during the summer.

Five stars across the board for Marty and Mike! The bunky was cozy, cute, and easy to find coming off the highway. Beautiful area as well. Marty and Mike were very accommodating about my bringing my dogs, and they have a large fenced in yard which they allowed us to use. Besides a super comfy bed and warm ambience, one of our favorite things was the skylight, from which we could admire the beautiful stars from that bed I mentioned. Would definitely stay there again. These hosts are amazing!

Lovely slightly out of the way little funky bunky! We had a great stay with Marty and Mike who are both very friendly and helpful. The space is very clean and cosy, and a perfect spot for seeing more of the Muskoka region and even into Algonquin. We also loved there cute little dogs, and I’m sure our dog loved them too! Definitely recommend for a short stay!

We, unfortunately, had to cancel our trip abroad and instead decided to stay local. We contacted Coral about her other property and when it was unavailable due to maintenance she immediately responded and mentioned this place. She was able to secure her cleaning crew last minute to get us in and we appreciated it so much. This property is lovely with a great view, fantastic fire-pit and well equipped kitchen (if I’m being honest, better than my own!). I would highly recommend this rental, you will not be dissatisfied. ;) Thanks again Coral!

We had a fantastic weekend stay in Coral’s place. The location was fantastic, right on the lake which was completely frozen. The place was a perfect size for 7 of us and had an amazing view from the large windows. On our last day there was an issue with the water/electricity but Coral arranged for a handyman to resolve the issue within 30 minutes which was great. Overall would strongly recommend staying here!

We had such a great time here! The area is so beautiful in the winter and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Will definitely be going back!

This is the PERFECT place to stay for a couple heading to the casino. Nice quiet neighbourhood, all the amenities you could ask for at a great price, and it's only about a 5 minute drive to the casino. Would definitely stay again!

Cute, quaint cottage in a convenient location. It had a beautiful, private backyard right on the lake. Cottage came with canoe and paddle boat access, life jackets, game boards, and tv/movies. It proved to be a nice little getaway for our family.

We just spent a wonderful week away at Marisa's cottage. It's located on a quiet lake perfect for a getaway for couples or families. The cottage is clean and cozy, stocked with plenty of games , movies as well as a Smart TV. The lake is shallow and we brought swimming shoes as there are some rocks at the shore line however the bottom is sandy as you walk out. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools. The BBQ was also very clean with gently used grills. Dishwasher was a plus! Proximity to town is 15 mins or so, very convenient for trips to grocery store or to pick up firewood. The posting is very accurate however the pictures do not do justice for the beautiful sunsets you will experience from the dock.

This was our second summer holiday spent at Marisa's cottage. The cottage is very cozy and always clean when we arrive. The grounds around the cottage are flat and the water front is beautiful with the most amazing sun sets. Can't wait till next year.

Amazing winter glamping experience, super cute cabins heated by wood fire stove. Just make sure you are willing to get up to add wood in the fire overnight to keep the cabin warm. It’s all part of the experience :) The yoga retreat vibes here are lovely and really add to the experience. The tea/coffee/and hot water bottles available 24/7 in the main lodge really complemented the experience!

We stayed at the bear suite and it was very cozy! We loved the view outside of the cabin and it almost felt as if we were alone in the wilderness. The main house has all the amenities and the shower facilities worked well. The breakfast was also delicious. We were especially huge fans of the almond milk with chia seeds pudding. Just a friendly reminder for those staying in the winter: The only heat source comes from the wood oven, therefore you will need to be patient! Jennifer provides clear instructions in the listing, so as long as you remain patient, you should be able to get the fire going! For those who have troubles lighting the oven, there are also quick light logs for purchase to assist you, so you should be fine. It was fun practicing how to build the fire that took some trial and error, but we both enjoyed the process. For anyone looking for a glamping experience in a cozy wood cabin in Muskoka region, I’d highly recommend this place!

The cabin is really great, feels secluded in the forest with a nice wood stove heating the whole cabin. Was a very wonderful option for Valentines day. Jennifer is really responsive and an awesome host. To anyone travelling there in winter, get the starter log and save yourself some time trying to get the fire started, it's well worth it!

Had an amazing time despite the cold. Make sure you know how to light up and maintain a fire before you go if it’s during winter months. Appreciated the breakfast in the morning :)

Amazing experience. Cute cabin in the woods exactly as pictured. Everything was super easy. We enjoyed a bonfire by our cabin in the evening. Breakfast was fresh fruit and baked goods with with some tea and coffee. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and hopefully will come back one day.

This was by far the best air bnb I have stayed at. Jennifer’s place is so beautiful and cozy and I highly recommend to anyone who wants a “glamping” experience or simply wants to get away from the city and enjoy peace and quiet in nature. Checking in was extremely easy and all amenities needed were there. We really loved our stay and will definitely be returning in the future!

Lisa and her family were so kind and welcoming, and the place is amazing!! The perfect little getaway outside the city. We were surprised that the room can actually sleep three cuz there is a little bunk on top of the bed :) We used the paddle boat with no issue, and Lisa recommended some great hiking!! She was ok with us playing guitar by the fire at night and having the best time :) highly recommend!!

The Porch House is extremely comfortable with lots of space even with 10 of us. The cottage has been carefully designed and lots of extras were included, in fact everything that you may need during your stay. We are four women friends who spent a fabulous weekend at Meghan's beautiful Porch House, chatting, cooking, snowshoeing and relaxing. We loved the Porch House! It is a brand- new, stylish and comfortable space with four lovely bedrooms, large kitchen/family room, a screened in porch, plus another sitting room upstairs which we used for doing meditation. All the furniture, linens and light fixtures are new, in "modern farmhouse" style. The house was sparkling clean and Meghan's design sense is classy, spacious and fun. Every room was warm and comfy despite cold temperatures outside. There are lovely farmhouse-style sinks in the kitchen and the bathroom (which also has a full tub and upscale finishings). Cooking was a pleasure in the big, well-equipped kitchen which stainless steel appliances. There is also a new washer and dryer. We loved walking through the quiet woods and admiring the wintery scene through the big windows from the comfort of a cozy sectional by a gas fireplace. Meghan was super to communicate with, was accommodating as regards arrival and departure time, and had everything set up for us beautifully when we arrived. She kindly checked in with us after a big snowstorm and a snowplow came by in the morning to clear the road. We cannot wait to go back! The new address signs were a bit hard to see in the dark (look carefully!) but directions were great!

This is a high quality stay. The hosts are amazingly generous and thoughtful, putting up a Christmas tree for us, among many other things. The aesthetic of the place is beautiful and the location is amazing. As we stayed there, we talked about booking again to go back in a different season to experience Fall or Summer at this gorgeous space. We loved the fact that we could bring our pets. Everything was amazing and I couldn't recommend it enough.

This is a beautiful space that up to four couples can enjoy! We came up to Rama for a concert; the drive was a short 15 min away. Everything was just perfect for our stay. Highly recommend you stay in this lovely Airbnb.

This cottage is exactly what we were looking for – cozy, clean, and unpretentious. The space easily accommodated five adults in the two bedrooms and pullout couch (be sure to bring an eye mask if you’re sleeping on the couch as the morning sun is beautiful and bright). The river is delightfully close to the cottage and while having coffee on the dock is beautiful you can also see the water and the ducks/swans clearly from inside. We would definitely come back in any season!

I have stayed at Brian and Kim's a few times now. It feels like my home away from home. I look forward to sleeping in a comfortable bed with a massager it is a great place to stay after a concert or a night gambling. Our concert got cancelled Friday night but our friends stayed over and we had a great time. Brian's place has everything you need for a great weekend away. We didn't want to leave so we booked a few more days away. The place is always ready and sparkling clean for us. Brian is always ready and available to answer questions and local tips. Brian is a great host, goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. As mentioned in the other reviews, place can use some Reno’s but he is already working on it but honestly you’ll have everything what you need to be comfortable at this place. Comfortable beds, good TV’s, easy access to casino (which is 3-4 mins drive from here).

Gabriella’s cottage was perfect! Amazing location on the lake, beautiful sunsets which were breathtaking. Paddle boat and kayaks were super fun to use as was the wood burning pizza oven! Lots of room in the cottage with 3 bedrooms, everything was there that we needed including coffee and a bonus s’mores kit. My 11 year old daughter and I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

A great find, away from the commercial settings of hotels. It's like being at a cottage. Very private, quiet and relaxing, just a few steps to the river. Only a few minutes off the highway. Marty and Mike are great hosts, and breakfast was fantastic.

This is an older motorhome in a good condition. It's not a house and you are camping out with water and power and heat like a house. We enjoy it.

Ingrid was a wonderful host and made everything from check-in to check out very seamless. Her basement suite is wonderful for relaxing and right on the water. We had an excellent time at Ingrids and the included breakfast made the value exceptional.

This was an amazing stay! Ingrid was such a great host - check in was very easy and the fully stocked fridge for breakfast made the mornings that much better. This apartment was very cozy and super clean. Would recommend to anyone!

This was a one week vacation, and we found a place like 'home'. A beautiful property, front and back. The accommodations were very, very clean and spacious. This is an apartment in their home, bottom level, with no stairs at the rear entrance, which is the canal side, consisting of a kitchenette, refrigerator, induction cook top, dishes, pots, etc., no sink; however, Ingrid always is so attentive, the dishes are washed in a dishwasher and replaced within an hour. There is a kitchen table, which overlooks the canal and the marina, which is beautiful. There also is a large living area, with a huge T.V., with Netflix. A double glass door, which separates the living area from the bedroom, and a very nice bathroom with a great shower. They provided cushions for the outdoor lounge chairs, and provided a large table so my husband could clean his fish on it along with the garden hose. Ingrid and her husband were sincerely amazing people, and wonderful hosts, and we were sorry to have to say bye. t was an honor to be able to spend time with them, in their home. We will return.

Having the canoe available for use was amazing as we paddled throughout the lagoon exploring the different channels and cottages. The house and property are absolutely beautiful, very clean and relaxing. Great atmosphere as you walk into the unit with music playing, lights already on and a wall of wine as the main center piece! We had an amazing stay! Highly recommend!

Very nice spot! Clean clean clean! The host even surprised us with a bottle of homemade wine- what a nice gesture! Nice coffee bar for the morning as well! Nice size place for 4 people, slept very comfortably! Location is about 5-7 min to casino Rama! No Uber’s in the area. If you want to go to casino Rama you have to get a taxi which ranges from $30-45. We were fortunate enough and had a ride from a local. Would recommend this place! Quiet and clean!

Vickys place was great! Very clean, comfy beds! We stayed for one night to see a show at Rama which was less than an 8 minute drive. She was quickly responsive when I had questions and really helpful. Would 100% recommend this place to stay! And would definitely use it again if it’s available for the next show!

Great location at just 8kms from Casino Rama. Place was sparkling clean and very cozy. Beds, however were uncomfortable to sleep in and no wifi instructions. Would stay here again if we are back for a show.

Overall great experience! The unit was beautiful and looked newly renovated. We really appreciated the extra touches like the wine (which was delicious). Thank you again Vicky-Lynn for having us and :) I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely Autumn stay! House is well stocked, and the toys and playpen were very nice for our kids. Fire pit had ample seating for everyone.

Irina’s cottage was an amazing place to relax and get away. She was very responsive, accomodating, and generous. The property is beautiful, and with a full kitchen, bbq, appliances, and more, my guests and I never felt like we were missing anything. I hope to come back again next year. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Irina was the perfect host and this cottage was outstanding. We were there with our 9 month old, her godparents and their 21 month old. It was a beautiful location for a relaxing weekend. Everything was perfectly clean, which made it easier when having a very active baby crawling everywhere. We loved using the SUP (for the first time!) and the paddle boat. Everything needed was provided and more! The babies had toys, a playpen, outdoor activities - everything! We can’t say more great things about our experience. We hope to stay again next year!

Great place ! Beautiful sunrises! Great location and so close to the water. Debbie and family was very accommodating, and patient. My husband, 16 month old daughter and I stayed for a month while our house was finishing being built . Very flexible and patient considering we had a 16 month old there going through a transition. They always made sure we had everything we needed and more. If there was a concern (ie- out of garbage bags) before I knew it there was more! Has a very warm and “cottagey” feel. Highly recommended!

Debbie's place is a very clean, quiet and relaxing room in Orillia. Debbie is very responsive so communication and arrival procedure are juste super easy.

Debbie is awesome! Friendly and kind. The space she offers is cozy and super clean with some awesome touches. It truly felt like a mini vacation! The area is pretty, short walk to the water or just a nice view from the porch! I would recommend staying here if you the chance! I can’t wait to travel through Severn again soon!

I had a great time staying here. Debbie is an amazing host. She was always available if I had any questions and gave good tips regarding what to explore in the area. And the beach and lake are just a few steps away from the house. It looks magical in the fall. Highly recommended.

We had a nice stay, everything was as described. Easy check in/out and great communication. Very clean too! Only downside was having no real options to walk outside as the cottage is very near the highway and on a short, dead-end street.

Coral's place is awesome! Coral and Mary are very responsive and helpful! We had a great time here as a group of 6 people and 2 dogs. The place has direct access to the river, would definitely plan to come back in summer time again!

The cottage was a fantastic retreat for my extended family. 8 adults and 5 kids fit with no issues. Lots of room, great waterfront, everything you need, plus a hot tub. Just over an hour drive too. Great cottage if others are looking for a large cottage with 7 bedrooms for a decent price. Thanks Najim for the quick responses.

Najim’s place is amazing. Our stay was great. Literally what us Brits imagined a winter cabin trip in Canada looked like and it lived up to it. Right on the lake, like something out of a movie. The cottage is roomy yet cosy with high ceilings and accommodates 14 comfortably! Nice and isolated. Jacuzzi and games room are perfect additions and spacious kitchen and living area. Looks just like the pictures. Would highly recommend a stay here, wish we could have stayed for longer - maybe even permanently aha

A nice and comfortable get-away.

We chose this home as a little getaway and we are so glad we did! The house is lovely. It’s nicely decorated and kitchen is well stocked with every manner of small appliance and kitchen implement. There is a great hot tub with one of the bathrooms to shower before and after conveniently located right inside the door. The neighbours were quiet but friendly. The house has little surprises throughout. I could hardly believe how much thought was put into every little detail. There was even a cupboard with odds and ends that one might forget like salt, sugar, coffee, etc. So thoughtful! Cleanliness is a huge issue for us and this house did not disappoint. It was as clean and well cared for as you would expect your own home to be. We brought our kayaks and the access to the water was perfect! Even if you don’t utilize it for water crafts it’s lovely just to sit and enjoy. Brandy was excellent with communication. She made sure we knew not only about the house but about what the surrounding area had to offer as well. We would not only recommend this home but would stay here again!

Brandy and Tom's place was beautiful. The inside space was enormous and modern, and the outside was beautiful, calm, and spacious. They were super responsive and kind. Location is incredible - under ten minutes to everything you could need or want. Would love to stay again!

My family and I had a great time. Wonderful clean space, lovely little touches and a very responsive and courteous host. Everything was excellent, with the minor exception, as others notes, of having to take your garbage with you (all the way home if departing on a Sunday, as we did). Maybe a lockable bin in the side of the house would solve this minor issue? Otherwise really wonderful stay!

We had a very relaxed vacation staying at Brandy’s place! Brandy is very accommodating and a great host. House is clean and comfortable stocked with lots of kitchen items. I would return again!

This is a wonderful little oasis in the woods. Everything was immaculate and had all the finishing touches. Comfortable bed, warm duvet and cute little lights and a lantern. Also the outdoor facilities are so cute! A woodsy shower and an outdoor yoga studio. Be sure to make time to stay for a class or two!! I can't say enough about how wonderful this stay was for me! We had a great time at Myles Delight! Ken and Kathy were helpful in accommodating our stay even when they were away on vacation themselves. We had the pleasure to meet Ken on the Saturday we were leaving! This cottage is in the perfect location, right on the water! We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here!

We spent a week at Ken & Kathy's place and I've never had a more relaxing vacation in my life. The area is beautiful, the cottage is cozy and the dock was our favorite place to hang out, with the porch swing in a very close second. The cottage was spotless and we were provided with everything we needed to cook dinner. We took advantage of the canoe and pedal boat every single day. You'll definitely need bug spray. Those mosquitos are relentless. We hope to be back next summer.

My family of 6 enjoyed our time at Myles Delight. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was available, plus very helpful notes to make the best of our visit. We had an excellent time swimming, kayaking and generally enjoying the place, including easy drive to Gravenhurst and Bracebridge.

Lolly's place was perfect! She was so helpful and responded to messages quickly. The house is in a great location, close to town but also secluded and surrounded by nature. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The decor was also fantastic! Lots of scentsy pots/ salt lamps/ etc. to make it feel cozy and homey. Lolly provided pastries and a cheese tray which was so kind! Definitely recommended !! :)

A terrible weather forecast meant I would not be attending a concert at Casino Rama. My friend and I decided to stay over. Lolly’s place was perfect: easy to get to, clean, movie channels, great coffee and pastries for breakfast. Lolly answered questions immediately. I would definitely stay again.

This place is really great. The views over the lake are idillic and it feels peaceful. We were able to walk out over the frozen lake for quite a while. The house itself is great and has most things you need except there is no WiFi and cable. There are lots of dvd options available though. The bedrooms were very tidy and clean as well as the bathrooms. There were quite a few dirty items in the kitchen so just be prepared to wash everything before using. There was no instruction book and we struggled with finding the fireplace switch and turning the oven on. However Anne was quick to respond to a quick email. Overall a great stay! Would recommend.

Anne’s property is lovely. The cottage is easily accessible, beautifully decorated and with all of the things you need. Only recommendation would be to bring lots of bottled water - but aside from that wouldn’t change anything about her place! A perfect winter or summer getaway.

The most fancy chalet I have ever been. Great location, neat, cleaning, fashion style furnitures, art-taste decoration. all my friends ask where is this cottage is and they wanna go there when I showed the pictures to them. The host is kind and considerable, providing much travel information to me and even making a phone call forme to double check the information. I will come back in summer for sure.

Fantastic place, really exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a cottage vibe but with all the modern amenities and comfort of a luxury home.
