  • Wonderful place

  • I’m not sure words do justice to how nice this location is. I selected it due to its perfect location (the perfect spot for the night before Acadia), and its amazing price. When arriving, I was relieved at the ease of check in and condition of the house, absolutely immaculate. The room had every single thing we needed and more, including bathrobes! The bed was comfortable and the view from the porch was incredible. We are already planning our way back north again, however plan on staying in Hallowell for the entire stay for we never even got to try out kayaking and bike riding in the area, or to explore all of the small shops that it has to offer! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back soon!

  • Secure, cozy room in a tidy old house in a town I’ve never heard of. Sounded great and it was indeed great. Try it out

  • The room had anything you might imagine needing. Andrea was quick to respond to questions as well!

    Michael2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea's place is lovely! I stayed there as a quick layover on a trip en route to Canada, and it was just what I needed. I'd love to return in the future for a longer stay. Andrea's kindness and hospitality are noteworthy!

    Kerry2019-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • My bed was so comfortable! I arrived late and left early, so I didn’t actually get to meet Andrea. But I felt so welcomed by the extra touches that went above and beyond what I expected...the water filter, coffee, chocolate and so much more! Thanks again Andrea!

    Mary2019-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time, the accommodations were excellently maintained and made our trip perfect.

    Alexander2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea’s place is TOP NOTCH!! Beautiful home, great location, amazing amenities. Cleanliness is a big deal for me so I was a little worried but from the moment I walked through the door I had to take off my shoes (just like home!) my room was spotless and Andrea was cleaning the common areas ALL the time. She was super friendly, full of recommendations but also was very respectful of personal space and my need for alone time. I could write an entire page of how lovely this home and Andrea were, I definitely will be returning!!

  • Tara's cabin is a great place to stay. We had no issues with anything and the place was very clean. Our group was only there one night and it worked out very well for us. We will definitely plan to stay again next year.

    Christine2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Tara’s. It was comfortable and we enjoyed the patio and lake. It was beautiful and relaxing. I would stay again. There was a time difference between us and the owner and she responded to me very promptly and was very kind and helpful.

    Sarah2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I really enjoyed the home. It was beautiful and the lake was so crystal clear! My husband caught a huge bass there. Totally recommend staying here!

    Hillary2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin has a fantastic spot steps from the lake. We were lucky to have fantastic weather and use the kayaks, floats, and stand up paddleboard the entire time. There is also a lovely yard with the fire pit where we made Smore’s. The cabin is definitely a little bit rustic, but has a very nice updated bathroom.

    Liz2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a weekend getaway, the lake is amazing definitely a must to take the kayaks out.

  • Andrea was great with communication. He made sure I reach his place without any hiccups.

    Kiran2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea has great attention to detail and goes out of the way to make sure that you have everything you need. The amount of amenities provided coupled with the low cost create substantial value. I will go out of my way to stay here again if available in the future.

  • Room E is cozy, but has everything you need for an easy overnight. TV, Desk, Comfortable armchair and bed, you feel like you're getting a lot out of this private space than just a bed. Also, Andrea left thoughtful touches like a chocolate by the bed and a glass of wine for me.

This beautifully finished tiny house was completed as a labor of love. The wood was cut and milled from the land surrounding it, with charming rustic touches added around the home. The house is a compact & bijou 250sq ft, but comfortably sleeps 2, or a family with a small child.
The upper “bird’s nest” is the perfect place to watch the stars and commune among the fireflies on a Summer night. With ample windows, the outside is brought in to guarantee romantic evenings to remember.
The property is only a stone’s throw from one of America’s most exclusive dining experiences, The Lost Kitchen. The restaurant is housed in a stunningly restored grist mill only a couple of miles away in the nearby town of Freedom. It has been reviewed and revered worldwide, and received 20,000 requests for reservations last year alone. Coastal Belfast is just 15 minutes away to the South, with plenty of restaurant choices and art stores, while Waterville to the North is home to the famous Railroad Square cinema and Big G’s deli, which must not be missed!
  • Tom was super nice and his property was awesome. Great place to view the stars at night. Also right down the road from the the common ground fair! Thanks again Tom!

    Jeffrey2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Tom's hand-built cabin with bathroom facility and outdoor shower adjacent was the perfect upgrade from camping - snug, comfortable, conveniently appointed and homey (hand-painted with glow in dark stars in sleeping loft!) Great for a single and can accommodate a couple, it is a very private setting behind the vegetable garden on his property in a woodsy setting in the hills above the mid-coast towns and the very nice Belfast with it's terrific co-op to anchor, about a 20-25 min drive down the pleasant scenic Rt. 173. Stop at any of the several roadside stores they're all good, open early and late, and Weaver's has a morning bakery as the sun is coming up. Tom and wife are super nice and authentic. Great value, great place, great hosts, and Maine: ME

  • The tiney house was awesome! Very comfortable, just like the ones on TV. It was perfect, rustic but comfortable, I spent my days exploring the coastle cities of Maine and hiking. It was so cool to actually stay someplace that was really doing the sustainable lifestyle! I'm def going back again! Tom was super nice, even refunded me when I had to check out early for work, and didn't mind checking me in in the middle of the night lol, it was great!

  • Sylvia was very accommodating. She went out of her way to provide me with breakfast that worked with my dietary restrictions. The room is cozy and the bed is very comfortable.

  • Thank you!

    Atticus2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Charming home, cozy room with wonderful heater. Very close to coastal hotspots and easy access to I 95 . Sylvia is arguably the most charming host and makes a breakfast that is worthy of visiting for its own sake. Strongly recommend.

    Paul2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a remarkable airbnb-- outstanding for its service, especially for the economical price. It is a small room in a small house, so you need to be comfortable with the comings and goings of the small family and the two big friendly dogs...or if you wish to spend a lot of alone time in your cozy room with heater, Sylvia will respect that as well. The really outstanding part of it is your hostess sylvia, who is more sensitive and attentive to the needs of her guests than practically any airbnb hostess I've seen. She is a native French canadian, speaks fluent french and italian and english,

    Larry2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sylvia's place is tucked in among the trees in the countryside just north of Augusta. Thank you Sylvia for being a very welcoming host.

    Louis2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Sylvia is a fantastic hostess! Her home was beautiful and clean, and her hospitality was outstanding. The breakfasts she made us were great. I would definitely stay with her again.

    Maura2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sylvia is a very nice host. We had some funny talks and shared our travelling experiences. The room is spacious and homey. The heater is pretty strong and hot. The only thing is the address that means you need to focus on the road and carefully see the intersection. Very easy to drive over the place. Anyway, five stars. Highly recommend!

Burleigh Street is a unique part of town in Waterville. Large old houses on a quiet street along the Messalonskee stream. Many of the houses date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Mr. Burleigh built our house in 1915. He and his family lived downstairs and his favorite aunt lived upstairs. Originally a two family house.
  • Thank you for opening up your home to my family and two dogs. It was a highlight of our trip. Hopefully we will be back next year.

Separate entrance and self check-in for social distancing. Funky waterfront retreat in the pine canopy with private full bath with hot shower, use of canoe, grounds, dock, decks, outdoor chairs, and hammock. Woodsy and a somewhat secluded location, yet convenient to Augusta off Route 17. Ideal location for a stop going to or from Acadia National Park or the Common Ground Fair. Enjoy a campfire in the evening. Host lives on site if you need anything.
The waterfront is Togus Pond, also known as Worromontogus Lake. Spacious queen suite in the pine canopy with gorgeous views of the water and use of canoe. Completely separate from the downstairs where the caretaker lives. The stairway to the upstairs is long at 16 steps. It is not for the faint of heart: not suitable for those who have trouble climbing stairs, are afraid of heights, or children. But the reward is being in the tree canopy with gorgeous views of the water. Your experience is best described by Katy, our 2016 caretaker: Nestled down a trail of soft pine needles and surrounded by evergreen trees, lies a place in the minds of many passer byers. Most have spent one night here, sometimes two. It has been a certain reprieve for all who enter. Each life greeted with warm hospitality and offered a sit on the deck overlooking the last rays of the sun hitting the pond below. A welcomed sit it is for folks, as they have tired from their travels. Many have seen some spectacular sights along their journeys here, yet this quiet little abode with the swinging pendulum of hemlock limbs, lulls them to a peaceful state away from the noises of the world. Gazing at the waters, tensions lift and faces soften. Contemplation of this place and perhaps even their lives lay in the silence. Upon entering their room, they all smile widely. They climb the outdoor stairs and “Ooooh”s can be heard as they express their initial reactions to the panoramic window views of the embracing pines. There are many different types of people that come here. Couples looking to get away from city life. Friends on excursions. Folks heading to the local fairs. Even the occasional business man needing a place to lay his head. Peoples from all over the world—Germany, France, Australia, China. Almost all have been or are going to incredible Acadia National Park.
Nice and quiet unpaved road with a low speed limit of 15 mph. Property is set back from road, right on the water. Curved driveway means you cannot see the road. Woodsy and secluded, yet convenient to Augusta. All other homes on the road are year-round residences.
  • Great stay and great value :)

This is a quaint farm house in a rural setting but not far from many attractions in the mid coast area. It's comfortable, warm, cozy and quiet. There's a lot of wildlife here. I'm very close to Wiscasset, Damariscotta Lake State Park and Damariscotta village. There are some great restaurants and pubs a short drive away. Pemaquid Point and lighthouse on the ocean is a beautiful drive from here as is Rockland, Camden & Augusta. It's a good mid coast location.
My house is in a quiet country setting. It is, however, located mid-coast with access to shopping, restaurants and water access near by. There is a public boat launch that some of my guests have used to go kayaking and canoeing on the Lake Damariscotta. A beautiful clean lake and river close by. Another boat launch is into the Damariscotta River in the village of Damarisscotta. There are farms nearby and views of the lake. This is a very scenic area of Maine. I have also had some people biking through the area in the summer and spring. There are many hiking trails nearby and a short drive away there are hikes along the water.
  • Margaret is the perfect hostess. Her quiet house in a beautiful setting in the Maine woods is cozy, sparkling clean, full of light and thoughtfully appointed. I will go there again in a heartbeat.

    Andres2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Margaret is such a wonderful host. She communicates clearly where her home is located. Her house is warm, comfortable and just always feels like home. When the need arises we will always stay with Margaret!

    Catherine2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • You will be very welcomed at Margaret's home. She is very kind and helpful. You will have a good and quiet sleep at her house.

    Sheila2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jefferson is a charming town and the drive to Margaret's place includes breathtaking views of Damariscotta Lake. You drive up, along Rte. 213, to the top of Bunker Hill and the town's historic buildings, then down about a mile or so to Margaret's place, an early-1800s Cape. Margaret is charming and gracious, a perfect host who provides a wonderful breakfast...starting with the smell of bacon cooked on a wood stove. Genevieve F.

  • I am a really lucky man. This was my first time to stay on Airbnb. I have gotten from her, such as her warm welcome, having an attentive heart, clean rooms, smart use of color that I love for her whole house, an unforgettable taste of English tea and breakfast, AND her natural personality... I'll definitely be back there. Thanks again, Margaret.

  • Margaret was a great host. I highly recommend her place.

    Amy2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pleasure to stay at Margaret's home. She took me on a very short notice for a business trip I was on. She made me feel extremely welcomed from the very beginning. She even sent me off in the morning with a warm bowl of oatmeal. Thanks for your kindness! I would definitely welcome another chance to stay with her. She is a great host.

Relax in knotty pine splendor in this charming lake side cottage.
Enjoy the splendid views over Pattee Pond.... Our cabin is situated on a quiet dirt road and we feel like it’s more relaxing and homey than a hotel stay... If you’re looking for that cozy, back-to-nature space to unwind, then this is the place to be!
While we are located in a woodsy lakefront setting, it’s only a short drive to grocery stores, restaurants and shops and parks
  • Great cozy cottage! Clean and ready to go with everything you need. Great views of the pond. Very relaxing place to be.

    Alexander2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • A rustic camp right on a pond facing east. Neighbors are close by and very nice. We enjoyed an a most amazing moonrise right from the deck looking across the pond. Gorgeous view. Mike and Paula responded quickly and were a delight to work with.

  • Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Waterville or want to be out on the lake!

    Tim2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Mike & Paula's place could not have exceeded my expectations more! It was cozy, immaculately clean, a beautiful home, had wonderful amenities and spectacular views!! The water pressure was impressively strong for the house being RIGHT on the water, the water also got nice and hot for a shower. The bed was quite comfortable (I slept in the king in the bottom floor). The house has three large decks, each with a nice secure railing and a great view of the sunset and sunrise over the pond. The pond was frozen over and made for a fun place to walk around straight off the back of the property. In the warmer months that access straight into the water would be unbeatable! Paula and Mike left a binder on the kitchen table with some excellent recommendations - I took their suggestion for Mainely Brews, a short drive away, and the food was superb. I'd drive the hour north from my house just to eat there in the future. The home was very well-appointed with extra blankets, plenty of towels, a pair of dog bowls and a pair of dog beds for furry companions, salt, pepper, coffee, plenty of cookware and eating ware. Perhaps most of all, I was very impressed with how clean the house is. Even the gas stove was in pristine order! Paula was very timely, friendly, and helpful in our communications, and the long road in was well-maintained and easily passable even with fairly fresh snow on the ground. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Mike & Paula's place with my dog, and look forward to returning in seasons and years to come!

    Devon2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Mike and Paula's place was cozy. They were quick to respond and it was very easy to find. It was very clean and we enjoyed our short overnight visit. We hope to visit again this Summer.

This cozy house is walking distance from downtown Belfast, the Belfast Rail Trail, and the Belfast Harbor. The house is a romantic nest for two or a crash pad for up to six. Live comfortably while gaining easy access to all the cool adventures Mid-Coast Maine offers. Please note this is a real older house in a real neighborhood. It is eco-friendly and I do not use pesticides. You may see harmless house spiders, birds and plants. If you are looking for a hotel experience, please stay in a hotel.
This lovely bungalow style house has a full kitchen with all the kitchen tools you need to cook using easily obtained local food. It has a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, full stove with oven, all pots, pans and dishes, and all silver and utensils you might need. The Belfast Co-op and two local farmer's markets are walking distance away. The sleeping arrangements offer great flexibility - there is a bedroom with a queen bed, another with twin bunk beds, and also a comfortable futon couch. There is also plenty of room in the yard to set up a tent if you prefer to enjoy the fresh ocean air flowing off the bay. The front porch provides a relaxing place to watch the sky and listen to the wind blow through the willow tree leaves. The house is heated and cooled with a heat pump which allows you to keep the space the perfect temperature at all times. There is a washer and dryer in the basement if you need to cycle some clothes during a longer stay.
The proximity this house provides you to downtown Belfast is awesome. You are only two minutes walking away from Waterfall Arts, an amazing local art center that hosts all kinds of classes for kids and adults, a gallery, lots of events and music, and a farmer's market. Another three minutes walking puts you in the heart of downtown Belfast, which is an amazing small town! Here are some of my favorites: Check out the Colonial Theater for the latest movies in a gorgeous art deco theater with three screens. There are lots of awesome restaurants (faves: Nautlius, Meanwhile in Belfast, Delvino's, Laan Xang, Chase's Daily, Darby's), local breweries/bars (Rollies, Three Tides, Front Street Pub), two delicious ice cream shops (The Chocolate Drop Candy Shop, Wild Cow Creamery), and so many cool stores (Coyote Moon, The Green Store, Colburn's Shoes, Justine, The Good Table, Eat More Cheese, Yo Momma's, Side Country Sports and Bike Shop - you can rent bikes there, and on and on). The Belfast area is chock full of outdoor activities: you can hike, bike, kayak, paddleboard, sail, walk, ski, skate - anything you want, we do it! There are local schooners at the Belfast harbor to book a sailing trip on (Timberwind, Amity), as well as places to rent bikes, kayaks and other gear (Side Country Sports, Water Walker, Ducktrap Kayak). Local trails and preserves include the Belfast Rail Trail, the Hills to the Sea trail, Stover Preserve, Bald Mountain (towards Camden), Head of Tide Preserve, Sears Island (near Searsport), Moose Point State Park, Camden Hill State Park, and so many more! And of course Belfast is a great jumping off place for the full range of what Maine offers: visit Islesboro (twenty minutes drive to ferry, twenty minute ferry ride), Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor (hour and a half drive), Camden and Mount Batty (twenty minute drive), Baxter State Park and Katahdin (two hour drive), on and on...
  • Quaint house in the middle of nowhere. Belfast is an interesting place. Thank you Louisa

    Michael2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place really does feel like a little home away from home. It’s spacious, clean, and there is literally everything you need; from spices to board games. The host is super friendly and replies very fast. Everything worked out perfectly and we had an amazing time. Already recommend the place to a friend.

    Teodor2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect a clean, cozy and carefree atmosphere, just like home. It is easy to relax and sit around the kitchen table with coffee in the morning or spend a casual evening at the cottage with take out food from one of the many restaurants in Belfast. It is close to everything, yet very quiet at night.

    Beth2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Extremely convenient location!

    Sam2020-03-01T00:00:00Z

  • My family had a wonderful time at the house on Evergreen. The location is excellent, with the access to the lake and the sound of the loons on the property. Everyone in my family was comfortable, and content all week. It was also very quiet and private. And having some of the best Maine ice cream and comfort food right down the road sweetened our time there! We'd be happy to return.

    Rachel2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect getaway on the lake, with a short drive to the coast. The house is beautiful and everything we needed for the week was available.

    Jackie2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren’s lake house is a gem in the woods. It was private and tucked away with access right to the lake and a private dock. But also was down the street from a gas station and only a short drive to a hannafords. The house came fully stocked. Kitchen, dining, bath essentials, etc. Anything that we forgot to pack, we found right in the house! It was also very clean and had a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. The basement had a pool table and a working pin ball machine and also a bar area. We came with our two young kids looking for a relaxing fun getaway and that’s exactly what we got! 10/10 for everything! We would highly recommend anyone to rent Lauren’s lake house as it will not disappoint!

    Annie2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • The house was great alot bigger and nicer than pictures. Would stay again

    Chris2019-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazingly spacious house in an amazing location. With three bedrooms and a great room, there is plenty of space for families to spread out. Our host Lauren could not have been more accommodating. After the extreme heat this summer and early fall, we arrived at the start of a cold snap. However, we turned on the heat and a call to Lauren quickly sorted out our need for space heaters to warm up bedrooms that did not have baseboard heat--they arrived almost immediately! We were warm and comfortable during our stay despite low temperatures outside and the well stocked kitchen, comfortable couch, numerous board games, and very comfortable beds made us not mind the cold and rainy weather. Our family celebrated mutual birthdays and a special anniversary with dinner at The Lost Kitchen (yes, we won the lottery), but also enjoyed visiting Liberty Tool and Liberty Graphics, the Bryant Stove Museum in Thordike, and walking across the bridge and along the water in nearby Belfast. Although rain prevented use of available kayaks made available, we walked down to the dock on the last day to stand on the dock and hear the loons and enjoy the privacy of this remote location near to Lake George State Park. Truly a beautiful part of the world and one we hope to visit again.

    Kate2018-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren's house is big, beautiful and comfortable. Great beds, showers and property. If you plan on cooking, it has everything you could need. I would definitely stay here again.

    Caryn2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • So beautiful and clean. Loved this home. Thank you for sharing 💕

    Amanda2018-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This lake house has it all. Great views, loons calling other loons. Crystal clear waters, beautiful forest. The hostess provided everything that you may need for cooking, bedding and toiletries etc. There is an out door grill, a Roku TV. A huge sectional in the living room and plenty of room to roam. A bumper pool table with a bar. Enough beds for eight. Close to a store/gas station . An ice cream parlor. But the best part was the Keurig of course after the fact that it was a great place to have quality family time. This is an awesome place to get away. We loved it!

This is a tiny retreat for one or two guests. There is a fireplace facing the twin day bed. There is a screened in kitchenette. No shower facilities...but ask about availability of other cabins to possibly schedule time for use. This cabin is also a perfect add-on to those who need a little more space for additional guests when renting cabin 1 or 3! Winter rental details: We reduce our rates for the for the winter months because it's a great stay, for those who like winter camping in comfort!
This is a "still in the process" tiny cabin that really feels like a retreat from the world. There is no indoor shower but if you are a hardy soul who enjoys off the grid living... with a little luxury...a bird bath does the job. The "bathroom" is a very clean, cedar outhouse next to the cabin with a stained glass window. This is an experience that is perfect for some...and not for others. Read description thoroughly and ask questions if needed. Adventure and seclusion await! Winter rental details: We reduce our rates for the hide-a-way for the winter months because it's a great stay...but for those who like winter camping in comfort! This cabin heats up beautifully with the fireplace and is so snuggly...but shoveling a little snow and lugging a few armfulls of wood might be part of this woodland experience...oh...but if you are up for it...what an experience!
Jackson is a lovely town right on rt 7 with great access to the Bangor Airport and the beautiful coastal town of Belfast with many treasures to explore from there. Many of our guests are on their way to or from visiting Acadia which is about 1 hour 30 min away. Locally the Jackson/Brooks area has beautiful farms and events associated with those locations. It's not far from the famed Lost Kitchen...book well in advance! A golf course...The Hills to Sea trail...and great local food are all close by with seasonal events happening throughout the year.
  • Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway! Such a cozy and cute place. As soon as we arrived, the cabin was so warm and toasty due to the fire that they had already set up for us! Thank you Jim & Doreen. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Maine! -Darlene & Alex

  • Great little place to stay!

    Amy2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely little cabin, perfect for one or two people. I needed a place to stay for one night while at the Common Ground Fair. The cabin was an easy 20-minute drive from the fairgrounds on country roads. It sits among a cluster of 3 or 4 cabins that share a driveway,so even though I was traveling alone I felt safe with other guests next door. It had been renovated recently so all of the wood inside was brand new ; the twin beds very comfortable; and the cabin was nicely decorated inside too. I didn’t have time to use the wood stove but I imagine that would be nice on a cool evening . There was an electric heater that warmed the cabin quickly. The kitchenette is on a screened porch. So sweet! And if all of that wasn’t enough to delight, the outside (heated) shower had just been installed and I was able to enjoy a warm shower outside in the morning. Such a wonderful experience! Next time, I will stay longer and use it as a jumping off pad to explore the Midcoast. Belfast is an easy 20-minute drive. Really enjoyed my all-too-short stay!

    Heather2019-09-20T00:00:00Z

  • Our stay in Hallowell was wonderful! It was our first time there, and we stumbled upon Andrea’s place when planning a last-minute getaway. Our favorite part was the wood stove! We asked for direction on how to use it, and they were right over to have us. We would stay again!

Comes with a parking space as well. We really, really loved it!

  • Seth was an outstanding host. So was his little dog :). We had an amazing time. We had a fire with two comfy chairs. The bed was so soft and we slept like babies. He had a welcome basket to take to the dome with snacks , water , matches, fire starters, a map to the stars and I book for reference. He also had a telescope for our viewing pleasure. The temp was perfect with the heater in the dome. We woke up to a continental breakfast in the main house. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Everything about our experience was A+. Wish I could give him 10 stars.

    Bridget2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The cozy domes are...well just that. Insanely cozy. Our dome was heated and was just walking distance from a clean hot shower and any amenities you would find in your home. The dome is large and comfortable, we were warm with an outside temperature of 16 degrees. The dome allows for a full panorama of the Maine night sky with zero light pollution. We saw over 10 shooting stars before falling asleep. Just minutes from Damariscotta it’s a fantastic location. In the morning we were pleasantly surprised with fresh coffee, and a continental breakfast! We will be returning in the spring to rent out all three amazing dimes with friends! Stay here. Trust me.

    Steve2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • To sum it all up this was an unforgettable experience! We stayed two nights in the dome and even though one night it was 35 degrees out, we stayed warm with three extra blankets. We did a day trip to Acadia National park which was a bit of drive but so worth it! The two nights we stayed it drizzled at night so we couldn’t see to many stars from the dome but while sitting at the bonfire before it rained you could see them so clearly! If you are traveling to Maine this is a must do!

    Ariana2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy dome is an amazing outdoor stay with all the comforts of indoor amenities! Everything is exactly as reported in the listing, Seth is a great host with the most adorable dog! We had a wonderful stay though it was a bit cold at night. We would definitely stay here again!

    Nidhi2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The lure of sleeping in a clear dome and waking up to nature was incredibly appealing to us, but Seth’s hospitality is what truly made this a memorable experience. Upon arrival he took us on a tour with Quinn (best fetching dog EVER) and showed us where to park along with the bathroom in his home. It was so nice to shower after a long day of hiking then go bundle up next to the fire before burying ourselves under the most amazing blankets. Seth gave us a welcome basket of flashlights, local moon pies, a charger kit, and matches with a fire starter. He also graciously let us do a load of laundry! If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we’ll definitely be staying here!!

    Erin2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a unique stay! Several extra comforters meant I was super warm and cozy, and there were lots of cute touches like a star map and home made moon pies! The view was beautiful, the bed was ultra comfortable, and Seth made sure I felt at home. Thanks for the stay!

    Laura 2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Seth was very welcoming and anticipates his guests needs before they occur. We stayed in the comfy dome in the beginning of October, and we were warm enough during the night with all the blankets provided, even though there was a thick frost in the morning (30 degrees F). The comfy dome is a unique experience that will not be easily forgotten.

    Danae2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place to get out of the busy routine and experience something different. The dome was very clean and the bed very comfy. Nothing better than to wake up to the sound of rain. Seth's mom provided us with extra blankets just in case we get cold but we didn't. I totally recommend the comfy dome.

There is an awesome metal dock, a fire pit, and a lake side bench swing to enjoy the lake view.

Old Moses Farm is a working farm in a quiet, rural setting in mid-coast Maine. It is conveniently located for easy access to mid-coast Maine activities. I keep cows; sheep; pigs; laying hens. Two fine dogs and a cat also call this home. It's a little off the beaten path; a little unplugged; safe; farmstyle comfy & clean. You will have great wifi, but will not find a tv or microwave! Your upstairs room and half-bath is private to you. Downstairs, kitchen and full bath with shower are shared!
Expect country casual here! It is cricket chirping quiet most all of the time, but because it is a working farm, you will hear roosters, etc., singing the song of their people as they feel necessary! Read a book; relax; paint; nap or conveniently visit coastal destinations.
Though the farm feels like it is out in the boonies, we are fortunate to have several great restaurants in the near vicinity, ranging from above average dining to local flavor. There are a couple of General stores nearby; wineries/ distillery; an award winning goat creamery. If you are looking for a morning stroll or run, there is a peaceful route to explore.
  • Maureen is a very nice and welcoming person. She is very humble and kind. Her house is very much clean and quiet. I enjoy my stay in Maureen's house very much. You will absolutely enjoy your stay in Maureen's lovely house.

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Old Moses Farm on our way to the Common Ground Fair! Maureen was a lovely host and her farm is beautiful.

  • Mo, the host, is truly a gem and so humble! She has a wealth of experiences, and these touches make the stay so thoughtful and comfortable. She has an lively farm, and her dogs are such funny characters. If you’re in Maine and want to get away from the hustle and bustle to slow down your pace, this is a great place to do so. My only regret is not having stayed longer!! Highlight of my trip.

    Sally2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Old Moses Farm! Wonderful host, peaceful setting, comfortable house, and sweet four-legged company. Thank you, Mo, for your hospitality and excellent conversation!!

  • Exceptional accommodations on a bucolic working farm with the most welcoming and attentive host! Truly unique experience, you will not be disappointed. Comfortable, welcoming and very clean home!

  • As a fine arts painter, I look for out of the way places to stay and paint. Mo’s place fit that bill nicely. My host (Mo) was friendly and very helpful in pointing out places to paint and things to do the area. I enjoyed a nice meal at the local cafe (Sweet Season Farm Cafe) and then stopped in at the local Blueberry Festival. My room upstairs had its own entrance and was comfortable, neat and clean. The place is a small working farm, with chickens, cows, sheep, pigs and two large friendly dogs. I would definitely visit again.

It's beside a pond engineered and built by industrious beavers which brings all kinds of wildlife to the area. In the spring, with the snow melt, the pond is full and over-flowing. In the early summer, while the water level is still high and fresh, it's a swimming hole. Later in the summer, the water level drops and the lilies bloom. This is really a beautiful pond ecosystem.
This spot in the Maine woods is close enough to be on the road in seconds, yet far enough away to feel real privacy. The site is on a 130-acre lot of land with plenty of woods roads to wander.
  • This is the perfect get-away from regular life and reminds you why you love the outdoors. Jim and Doreen are perfect hosts and can help guide you along to a great trip!

    Jennie2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great overnight camp spot. Really appreciate the wood, including kindling. The outhouse is as clean as other reviewers have noted.

    Robin2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing property, the hosts go above and beyond to provide you with what you need. We were very surprised to have a wood pile, and a grill with propane! Though we prefer to cook over the fire it was still fantastic to have! The outhouse is fabulous. Directions to the campsite were spot on. Truly a hidden gem and SO private! Highly recommend!

  • Very nice property!

    David2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed the seclusion your campsite gave us. At first we thought the pile of wood was a tent with the tarp over it but were very glad for the wood that was there! It was also a beautiful stop before going to acadia national park!

    Desserra2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot, we camped here after being in Portland and then headed to bar harbor upon waking.

  • We had a wonderful time!Jim and Doreen went into a lot of trouble to offer our family a night of camping with all the equipment waiting for us. Large roomy tents, comfortable sleeping bags and mats, a mobile outdoor kitchen, plenty of wood for the firepit - made our family a night to remember! Thank you!

We have a beautiful, clean efficiency apartment- like suite in a daylight basement on the Kennebec River. This is self check in. We are close to Kennebec Comm College, Colby College, Thomas College and Unity college. Even a wine and cheese shop Meridians . We are just walks away from the Messalonskee trail, this is a groomed trail that is alongside the Kennebec river. PLEASE see the pictures to make sure this is the right fit for you! READ OTHER NOTES BEFORE BOOKING!! Thanks.
This is a daylight "basement" suite. Does not have a full kitchen. This kitchenette has a single cook top with cookware, a toaster oven and microwave. Your stay here is close to town but just out enough to enjoy a peaceful place to relax. We have created a coastal Maine feel to our decor to help you experience an authentic Maine stay.
We are on a side street in a rural part of town. Benton is a small community. We usually use the amenities of the town of Fairfield, just across the river. We have neighbors that are quiet and friendly. We've lived here seventeen years. There's nothing else that compares. We love Maine's coastal area. We are an hour from Portland and fourty-five minutes to Belfast/Camden area. We love Bar Harbor and we can make it a day trip if we want.
  • Amazing stay great place.

  • This my husbands second time and my first time staying here. AWESOME place! Location is so close to everything we needed and their recommendation book was PERFECT. I loved the nautical theme! Definitely 10/10! Thank you!!!

  • Craig and Jen’s place is a great place to stop in the Waterville/Central Maine area! The area very nice and responsive and have a great view of the river. Thanks again!

    Liz2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Craig and Jen’s place was exactly as described in their listing. We found them easily and the steps to the private entrance were shoveled and sanded. The apartment was simple and convenient, similar to a hotel suite with kitchenette. We used the fold out cot, in addition to the double bed, which were both comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. We were able to quickly access downtown restaurants, the grocery store and the cross country ski trails. Read their bathroom notes - it was quirky but functional. We ended up kind of sit-showering, which was fine with us but could be tricky for others.

    Erin2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • I just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay,it really felt like being at home on a wonderful relaxing day,not an impersonal corporate cubicle. The river view was enchanting even on a dreary rainy December day,the ducks were awesome.

    Noelle2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • This space is cozy and right by the river! It rained on us when we stayed so we didn't get to enjoy the outside space. I loved the clawfoot tub. But, if you're much over 5'7", you won't be standing for a shower. Overall, I'd visit again earlier in the year!

    Erinn2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Right on the river. Cute place. Everything we needed.

    Kim2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Craig & Jen were awesome! Their place was awesome and exactly what we wanted. Right between the places in Maine we wanting to visit (Bangor & Portland). Benton was awesome and had a lot of things to do as well. Great places to eat! The AirBnB had everything we needed. It was very clean and had anything you would need for a short stay! Would definitely stay there again if we come up that way another time :)

Our secluded, very quiet and private two bedroom cabin, plus loft, overlooks Sandy Pond, inhabited by bald eagles, loons, and herons. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and swim, fish and kayak from our dock. We're close to coastal Belfast, Unity, MOFGA (annual Common Ground Fair), Waterville, Acadia and Camden. Eat at The Lost Kitchen, visit the Amish, hike the Hills to Sea Trail.
Our cabin sits on a small peninsula jutting out into Sandy pond. We are conveniently located between Waterville in Central Maine and Belfast on the coast, each a short half hour away. We are on the same pond as Freedom's gourmet restaurant, "The Lost Kitchen," located in the restored Freedom Mill. Close by is the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) in Unity, Unity College, and the Unity Center for the Performing Arts. The cabin is a perfect base for visiting the Common Ground Fair, Windsor Fair, the Amish country store and charcuterie. You can get to Liberty Graphics and the classic Liberty Tools in about twenty minutes. Best of all, the secluded lake is just steps away and usually you will find only birds once you are on the water. Bald Eagles nest a few hundred yards from the cabin and are seen almost daily. Loons, kingfishers, red-winged blackbirds, and fly catchers are common. During the fall Canadian geese visit as do a number of ducks and herons. The pond is stocked for fishing and the swimming in summer is wonderful. It is conveniently located for day trips to the coast, including north to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and south to Camden, Rockport, Rockland, and Boothbay Harbor. The cabin is available only May through October.
Freedom in the summer and fall is magical. When you're on the lake it feels like wilderness. We are often the only people on the lake in the late afternoon. Watching the leaves turn in the fall is awe inspiring. While Freedom is a small town with only one general store and gas station, Unity has just about everything you might need from groceries to hardware, to restaurants and bars, as well as a free library at the College.
  • Nice cabin in the woods with great access to water. Views are spectacular. Hosts were attentive to all our needs.

    Eva2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time at this cabin. It has amazing views of the water and the lake is so peaceful. They had kayaks which made the experience more fun. The cabin has everything you could need and the pictures really do not do the cabin or it’s surroundings justice!

    Tommy2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice, comfortable clean cabin in the woods, on a lake. Very quiet location. Helpful hosts. We would stay there again if we ever get back to the area.

    Connell2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing cabin experience with a pond unlike any other. Spectacular view of foliage. Will return for sure...

    Leslie2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • This cozy cabin is great. In the woods, on a quiet pond, kayaks, loons, bright stars, place is clean as a whistle, wood stove, wifi works, Will try and go again sometime.

    Chris2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is fantastic! Quiet, peaceful and cozy. We wish we had more time to spend here. Definitely adding it to our “must return” list!

    Nicole2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin in the woods. Rustic, charming, and overall great! There was very tasty well water & thoughtful notes throughout. The kayaks & the lake were amazing, and the stars were incredible, too. The binder with local tips, maps, etc was very thorough. I’d love to come back for longer. They set up a cot in the loft for one of my kids & put some collectibles up high out of reach of the kids. Even though we didn’t use it, the wood stove was prepped to light if we needed it. The cabin decor was so interesting & the magazines were nice, too. Full kitchen & Great dining table to share a meal with the family. The master bedroom windows have the best view as the sun rises, but there are blinds to block out the light too. We heard an owl in the evening & saw many loons on the water. Lovely stay!

    Kristin2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Dana’s place! It’s a well kept older cabin in a gorgeous location. We only wish we had stayed more than one night! Very peaceful and relaxing.

  • The room truly provides exceptional value. The stay was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the many amenities and thoughtful details. Andrea's place is equipped with everything you could possibly want and more! She really goes above and beyond for her guests. We had the pleasure of running into her during our stay and she was incredibly sweet. We made sure to let her know we'll be staying with her again whenever we're in town.

  • This was my first stay in Maine and it exceeded my expectations! The rooms are very cute and cozy. Across the street is a beautiful historic church and it's also walking distance to the downtown district and the Kennebec River. Great food options in downtown Hallowell and the little tavern stays open pretty late so you have have a drink and listen to the band at night. Perfect place for a solo traveler!

  • Perfect stop to stay overnight between Maryland and Prince Edward Island. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer to enjoy everything offered. The house was more than clean and very quaint yet modern with a large and inviting kitchen. Shared bathroom worked out well and we had lots of privacy but other guests were kind when we encountered them. Host was helpful too about local spots. A great spot off of the highway!

Cozy, light-bathed bedroom in the renovated "back house" of an 1850s Maine farmhouse. A peaceful space for healthcare workers or others looking for a place to work or stay during the COVID 19 epidemic. We will keep the room empty for 3 days between guests during this time, and will increase our usual cleaning procedures to include sanitizing all frequently touched surfaces. The room has a private entrance - no need for any interaction with hosts. Dedicated guest parking for anytime access.
Newly remodeled space, including a private bathroom with rainfall shower. Cotton bedding and towels, down comforter, SUPER-comfortable mattress, new heat pump to keep you warm or cool (depending on the season), space heater for those extra cold winter days and nights, a closet and set of drawers. Tea, coffee, and a refrigerator provided in the room. This space is perfect for anyone looking for an affordable, private, clean, safe and comfortable alternative to a hotel room. It is ideal for those looking to spend a night on their way to or from Acadia National Park, traveling to the area for multi-day business trips, or using the room as a cozy crash pad from which to explore the Midcoast region. If you are looking for a space in which you can prepare meals, enjoy cocktails on a private patio, or be secluded in the Maine wilderness, our place probably doesn't fit the bill...but there are many other options in the area that would. Other details to note so there are no surprises: The room does not have a TV but does have Wi-Fi. There are a set of gravel and wooden steps leading up to the entrance from the private driveway...if you are not able to lift your suitcases this could be a problem, though we are happy to assist with luggage if we are home. Also, our house is much the same as it was in the 1850s but the town around it has grown and the road outside the home is well-traveled. The same location that makes our place a very convenient stop also means that the home is not super secluded....but most guests report a very restful stay nonetheless. Though best suited to two adults, small families with children who don't mind sleeping on the floor are welcome. Ample floor space for a couple of sleeping bags (not provided).
Waldo County has a thriving local foods movement - stop by the Belfast Co-op to check out their well-stocked shelves of local and natural foods, or visit one of our two wonderful farmers markets: the Belfast Farmer's Market (Fridays 9-1, year-round, outdoor in summer, indoor in winter) or the United Farmers Market of Maine (Saturdays 9-2, year-round, indoor). Take a walk along the Belfast Harbor Walk, check out the thriving downtown shops and art galleries, and end the evening with a seafood dinner outside on the deck at Young's Lobster Pound, overlooking lovely Penobscot Bay. (Heads up - Young's is BYOB!) Many other places of interest, both near and far - just ask!

  • The back house was much better than we expected and wonderful in every way. It was comfortable, warm, really stylish, great coffee, comfy bed. It felt spacious and private but it was very close to Belfast. We relaxed and took advantage of her suggested restaurants which were excellent. The exterior of the main house gives no indication of the adorableness of the inside. Highly recommend and hope to stay there again.

  • We spent two nights here on a winter weekend getaway, and loved it! I would highly recommend it. The space is cozy and charming, with great amenities - the bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The Back House is a great value and offers easy access to Belfast, or other spots in the Midcoast or Downeast region.

  • As a nurse, I work strange hours, usually 3pm-3am. Don and his wife were so understanding and accommodating with my schedule. Don replies quickly. The place is clean and extremely spacious. Truly a great stay!

  • Awesome place. Super cozy and comfortable. The bed was amazing. I enjoyed the history of the old home. If you are looking for “Down East” this is the place. Don was super easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Highly recommend this host.

  • Great getaway for a weekend with friends. Loved the outdoor space and proximity to the river: truly unbeatable views. Only thing to note is that there aren’t any doors on the bedrooms.

  • Our stay at Ashley’s cabin was a lovely experience for me, my husband and dog! The secluded and serene location was perfect for a nice relaxing getaway. The river fulfilled all my husbands fishing goals for our trip. The one and only thing I would change about the cabin is the view from the deck of the river is a little obstructed with shrubbery. It would really open up the view if it was cleared out a bit. Ashley was accommodating and checked in to make sure our trip was going well, she even checked to make sure we were ok after a big storm! I would love to stay here again in the future!

    Jennifer2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • A cute cabin next to the Kennebec River. If you are looking for a place to disconnect from electronics yet be close to sites and restaurants, this is the place to be. The view of the river in the morning on the deck or in the evening by the fire pit are picturesque!!

    Gina2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • A magical spot! The location is beautiful, and the cabin is cozy. We did have problems with heat & hot water (due to electric utility work--not under the control of our hosts), but our hosts responded very quickly. If you can tolerate a few quirks with the building and are not afraid of lighting an old gas range, it's a lovely place to spend some quiet days, watching the geese, marvelling at the leaves turning almost before your eyes, taking advantage of the cozy but well-equipped kitchen, and perusing the amply-stocked bookshelves.

    Denise2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley’s cabin was THE picturesque Maine experience! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience all Maine has to offer in the coziest setting!

    Amber2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Well worth the $ and would likely return. No frills and no TV or wifi etc. Just a wonderful place to escape the world and get back to nature. Total seclusion and wonderful place if traveling with a pet. My dog loved the river and huge property to run and play. Would definately recommend this cabin and Ashley was a great host.

    Karen2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Sacred River Cabin was excellent. It’s a huge amount of incredibly private space - excellent for relaxation and fun on the water. Can’t say enough good things about this place, our dogs wish they could stay forever.

    Tom2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The location is superb, quiet and secluded along a river. The cabin is rustic and comfortable with a great grill and deck, the bed on the closed in porch is lovely. We had a great time visiting with our dog. Ashley was easy to communicate with, we’d definitely go again.

Stay on Belfast's New Little River Farm in a well cared for unique 2016 R-Pod travel trailer. Clean, simple, and private. Large, fully-equipped kitchen with running water, full-size bed with a new mattress, propane 2-burner stove, microwave/convection oven, fridge and freezer, high speed WIFI, heat and air conditioning, indoor hot shower, outdoor cedar walled outhouse toilet.
There is a short 80 foot trail through the woods to access the R-Pod from the guest parking area. We have young kids, 2 dogs and chickens. They all make noise. The camper is parked on our property near our home in it's own privately fenced area. We will be respectful of your space but expect to hear the sounds of life around you. We ask that you respect quiet hours of 9PM to 7AM and we will do the same. We will consider families with young children. The kitchen table folds into another sleeping area that can accommodate 1 adult or child, 1 adult and 1 small child, or 2 young children. You will need to bring bedding for the fold-out bed if you plan to use it. If you need a little extra room, there is also room to pitch your tent next to the R-Pod. Feel free to contact us about your needs.
The camper is located on a quiet, paved road in a rural, residential area about 3 miles from downtown Belfast.
  • Staying in Sam's r-pod was a really cool experience. The "pod" was clean and well organized. It just has a comfortable and unique feel. Its close to downrown and yet feels out in the country. I appreciate the eco-friendliness and concern for the enviornment. I would recommend to anyone looking for something a little different.

  • Great option for a private sleeping quarters en route heading north to Acadia! Trailer is a nicely arranged space to enjoy for cooking, sleeping, and sitting around while talking or using mobile devices. Loved aroma of evergreens on paths to trailer and outhouse. Close to center of Belfast, but surprisingly quiet neighborhood for good sleep.

    Carol2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is better than expected! It’s cute and has all you need! The outhouse is a bit buggy, but much cleaner than anticipated! This family cares about the environment and there are so many details that show this! We loved our time here. The early morning was so beautiful and quiet. It was lovely to sit outside drinking tea while the sun rose. We were grateful for our time here!

    Megan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The camper was a lovely way to spend a work night! Check-in couldn't have been easier, the camper was super clean and had enough privacy to feel like a mini get-away. I was glad I brought a blanket, but I chose not to turn on the heat until I got up to shower in the am. Glad I brought shampoo, it's listed in the amenities, but there wasn't soap or shampoo in the shower. Overall, a great place for the money and if I come back in warm weather, I'd check it out again.

    Erika2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sam was very welcoming and the R-Pod is a cool place to stay!

  • I had a wonderful stay at John's house- it's such a homely, comfortable place, and John is a great host! Perfectly located less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of Camden, and at such a great price. Thanks very much, John!

  • Great location in town. Very accommodating host. Very clean and charming house.

    Kevin2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot reccomend this place enough! This is one of my favorite places I've stayed in through Airbnb. The location couldn't be better with the house being near the water and about a five minute walk into town. The house was spotless and had really unique character and beauty -- I loved it the moment I walked in. John was hospitable and providedus with all the information we need. I highly, highly, highly reccomend it, the value is absolutely worth it.

    Marie2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • John was extremely hospitable and welcoming. He gave us a detailed tour of his home, had helpful notes and reminders put up, and offered advice about places to go nearby. Definitely great value, especially for the location.

Built in 1823, this typical New England farmhouse welcomes you to rest, restore and come back to yourself. Convieniently located in Central Maine. We make an excellent base for day tripping to favorites like Belfast, Camden and Rockland (45 minutes) and Bar Harbor (90 minutes) to name a few. Close proximity to Colby and Thomas Colleges. Perfect for leaf peeping too! Check in available by arrangement from 3pm till 9pm
The guest wing of the home is located privately in it's own wing. Tastefully decorated and thoughtfully renovated, the history charm and character of a 200 year old farmhouse has been maintained. The location couldnt be better - we are a perfect spot to use as a base for exploring the beautiful state of Maine!
The little village of China has great access to fishing and general lake activities. a general store/gas station, a lake side eatery, diner and grocery store. We are "on the way to everywhere" and only 35 minutes from the coast. Breweries and wineries are close by too.
  • Gary and Fiona's place is charming and quiet, a lovely way to spend the night in a clean and tidy early American farm home. Their property has a mix of well kept lawn and shade trees that fit the history of the property. We liked visiting with them both, and sendoff was a cozy breakfast in a sunny kitchen and dining area. We'd love to stay here again!

  • Fiona & Gary made our Maine Autumn vacation so very special! We can not recommend them highly enough! From their tips & insight into local Maine areas/activities, to their custom hot breakfasts, to their clean and comfortable facilities ... and they even have 2 wonderful goats you can pet/enjoy. Beautiful large yard with relaxing hammocks... you’re lucky for having come across their Air B&B ad - look no further! ♥️🍁🍷🏡

    Philip2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful experience! As Parents of a Colby College Junior, our only regret is that we didn’t find Fiona and Gary earlier! The room and shared living space are both beautiful and comfortable. The back porch and walk to the lake were a treat. And best of all we’re conversations with Fiona and Gary; it was like staying with friends! We will absolutely be back!

    Jennifer2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The photos don't reveal the more than amazing specialness of this Airbnb. The views are spectacular, the antique decor, luxurious bedding But the best part was the conversation with Fiona and Gary!!

    Sherri2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona and Gary are the most wonderful hosts. Their beautiful old home is charming, comfortable and clean. Fiona makes the most amazing breakfasts - and both she and Gary are delightful to chat with. They gave us great recommendations on local restaurants and hikes. They also let us feed their goats. ;) We loved staying with Fiona and Gary and will definitely book with them again next time we're in Maine.

  • Both Bernie and his daughter were wonderfully welcoming and accommodating. The home, part of a lovely and hard-working farm, has a warm and relaxed vibe, and the private bedroom was large, sunny and comfortable.

  • Visiting Colby or in town for any other reason? No need to stay at a hotel. Bernie and Jody offer a warm and inviting space. I only wish I had more time to learn about their farm. Next time!

    margaret2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Bernie and Jody are great hosts and conveniently available to guests. They are quite busy managing their organic farm which we were invited to look around and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The house is full of antique touches and warming aromas that are made to make you feel right at home.

    Michelle2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time I've stayed at Full Circle Farm, and look forward to my next stay there in the future. Bernie, Jody and their family are super kind, welcoming and exceptional hosts; we appreciated the AM coffee and tea as well as mint tea with maple as a nightcap, the opportunity to purchase their freshly harvested produce, and the advice and directions provided for local destinations. Very comfortable and warm farmhouse with a rich family history in a beautiful rural location.

    Betsy2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Full Circle Farm is a century old Maine farmhouse. There is a myriad of rooms that Bernie and Jody rent out as airbnb room as well as rooms for the farm exchange workers. It is full of rustic charm and farm history. There is always something happening at Full Circle Farm.

    Jenny2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a quaint little farmhouse that had just what we needed. We came from Acadia and needed to be in Boston early the next day - this was the perfect location! We stayed in a second floor bedroom with two beds and a private bathroom. If you're looking for a place with frills, this isn't it. If you're looking for a very comfortable place to rest your head and incredible hospitality, you've found the right place! Bernie communicated with us very early on with directions for the farmhouse and was there on the porch with a warm welcome when we arrived. The next day, he provided great recommendations for local breakfast spots. I wish we could have stayed more than one night!
