Adored this house. The house was cozy, comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. The house had everything one could possibly need. Loved the screened in patio, the deck and all the eclectic pieces. Will definitely be back.

This place is so nice! Bradley has thought of everything! He even walked me through everything when we arrived at almost midnight. The house has nice historical charm and it is close to everything. It's a lot of house for the price! I don't think I can say enough nice things.

Bradley arrived shortly after we did and gave us all the information we needed on the house itself. He gave us some tips on where to walk, where to get dinner and even helped us map our way out of town for the next morning.

Suzanne was a cordial, attentive but non-intrusive host. Her Cozy Rest is aptly described. It's a clean, comfortable, modest efficiency apt. in a quiet neighborhood. Guests have a separate/semi-private entrance. The apartment itself can be closed off from the rest of the house. The bedroom with both beds in use would be crowded, but Suzanne graciously allowed us to move the second mattress into the living room. Kitchenette is very minimally equipped in terms of cookware and tableware. Overall, an excellent deal!

The suite of rooms is like a tiny apartment within the house. While I'm sure two people would be doable, it was the perfect size for one guest. The rooms were mostly perfectly clean with no unique smells - clean but not sterile smelling. The bed was comfortable and springy. There's an a/c unit located in the living room that worked well during the 90 degree day. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Suzanne is a really nice woman. The listing is basically a complete "home within a home". The guest area had a bedroom, sitting room, and full kitchen. Suzanne was very friendly and cares about the guest's experience. There is a very sweet little Russian-Blue cat in the house that did *NOT* trigger my allergies as most cats do. One little thing to know is that Suzanne does smoke in the main house, but not in the "guest house". I only smelled smoke once when the fan in the bedroom window blew it in from the outside. All in all, a very good stay.

Amanda was quick to communicate via email. She even left us some granola bars, bottled water, and oatmeal. Additionally, there was shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Very nice.

Great stay for our quick visit to Oakridge. Love the history of this town. Great local restaurants. Amanda was easy to work it and accommodations were comfortable. The snacks and coffee were great extras.

Amanda's place is great and super clean. There were snacks and some essential breakfast food (eggs, milk, oh) waiting for me when I got there. I arrived after dark and was a little confused about parking but Amanda was quick to respond to messages and very helpful.

Although I personally was not able to make this trip, my wife Tammy, son Sebastian, and his friend Ryan can't say enough about Kate and her hospitality. This was the first time my wife stayed at an AirBNB and I'm super happy that she had this experience with Kate in her wonderful home. The communication was beyond great. We intend on staying here again next year.

Lovely room in a lovely house in a lovely neighborhood, hosted by lovely people. Robin and Kate graciously agreed to an early check-in and welcomed us with home-made cookies. They have clearly put thought into every detail, and were fun to talk to though they left us to our own devices to rest and relax. Kate fed us fresh-baked cinnamon chip scones (among everything else) for breakfast and gave us energy bars and coffee for our long drive when we left. I have been coming to this area for years and have always stayed in a hotel, but I will definitely try to stay with Robin & Kate again on my next visit to the area.

The hosts were both very organized, nice and welcoming. The house and room were both spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet so we got some much needed rest while we were there. Everything you need on a stay is located in that room or bath. From a mini-fridge to water to coffee and bathroom toiletries. The sitting area gives you a lot of extra space to spread out if you need that. The hosts provided a lot of detailed information upon arrival... including a breakfast menu! Being able to have a healthy smoothie, homemade granola and fruit was a great start to the day. I wouldn't normally eat a scone but when you are staying in the house of someone who likes to bake.... go for it. It's worth it. And oh, there is a gym on the lower level so you can always work it off if you eat too much!

My stay was amazing. The room was clean and beautiful, already set up with anything I might need. The bed was so comfortable I slept very soundly. While I did not meet Robin, Kate was a wonderfully warm and gracious host. I felt more like I was staying friends than with strangers. The icing on the cake was Kate's breakfast. As I was on a cross country road trip she set me up hot coffee, the world's best smoothie, and a homemade powerbar that kept me going for many miles. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and if I am ever passing through Tennessee again, I would gladly stay here again.

Kate is such a gracious host and everything about the accommodations was perfect. The room was luxurious and the personal touches (little customized bottle of wine and in-room coffee and little toiletries) were so appreciated. Due to traffic on our long drive, we were later than expected and Kate and her adorable scottie dog, Duncan, waited for us and greeted us when we arrived. The breakfast and use of their kitchen in the morning was so thoughtful (and I seriously have kitchen envy now). I am afraid that I will forever judge future airbnb stays in comparison to this amazing experience.

Very spacious and quiet. The hosts are very nice, and leave their apartment area well stocked. The house is on a hill with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely house with four full bedrooms and plenty of space. It was 20 miles from downtown Knoxville, but an easy Uber ride in the $25 range.

Kelsey was the perfect host and has a beautiful house! We stayed the weekend for a football game and had a great time. The house is about 30 minutes from campus so you are able to get in and out quickly while easily escaping the crowds after a game. I would highly recommend Kelsey as a host as we hope to stay again soon!

Kelsey was a great host! I booked this Airbnb for my friends bridal shower but was unable to attend. Kelsey communicated with the other hosts fantastically and always answered their texts and questions. Kelsey and her daughter even left a note for the bride and a little figurine which was so incredibly sweet. If you are ever in Knoxville you should definitely stay here!

I stayed at John's in early May. Very peaceful and picturesque location. House is spacious with all you'd expect in a home; e.g., very nice to have laundry washer and dryer. Bed is very comfortable. John is amiable and keen to ensure you have all you need. The location is great for fast and easy commute to both Oak Ridge and Knoxville. With impressive views of trees and pasture all about yet grocery store, pharmacy, etc. close by. The "small home near Knoxville" contributed much joy to my trip and I hope to stay there again.

This location is a hidden gem! The owner, John - a very kind artist man, made this house as comfortable as it could be, placing kind notes around the house and leaving all needed household items PLUS more luxuries (tea, apples, water in the fridge). He made sure our stay was not only comfortable, but secluded as well. He is am extremely kind and understanding man, this location was truly made 100% better by the owner, which is difficult. The house: it's so extremely cozy, about the size of a started couples home, this truly feels like home. Exactly 25 minutes from the worries of the big city(Knoxville), this made for an ideal location to come home to during my work trip. The home itself is filled with photography and art of all kinds, all made by John, and some of his old light set ups for photography, which brought the whole subtle theme together. This house is equipped with everything you could possibly need to live comfortably. You should book this location if you plan on having a lovely, relaxing vacation. I hope this helped you with your decision!

Amanda's place was spacious and clean. All the amenities from wifi to dish soap to shampoo were available. I could clearly tell that an investment was made on Amanda's part to ensure that everything that one could expect from a hotel room's amenities and more were there. There was even a pitcher of filtered water in the refigerator. The apartment, built in 1943, would have been a part of the historic Oak Ridge and the initiative to enrich uranium for the Manhattan project. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about the historical significance of Oak Ridge when I was here. The only suggestion I would have to Amanda would be to perhaps use less deodorizer to clean the apartment as the deodorizer's scent is very strong there.

This was a great place to stay. It was very clean and a nice, pleasant place to relax. The neighborhood may look a little rough in places, but it seemed safe and reasonable. We would definitely choose to stay here again on another trip.

Kenneth was a really nice and friendly guy, so I really regret having to write this review. The home was in such a condition that I was unable to stay in the house. I left immediately, contacted AirBNB, and booked another place for the evening.

House and rooms are un-furnished, except for beds, at the time of my visit. Kenneth is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I wanted to return for another weekend but he was already booked!

Staying with Coleen and Ross is such a treat. This was my fourth time staying with them, and it was as restful as ever! They were accommodating for our late arrival and had the room all ready when we arrived. The bed is super comfortable, the house is quiet, and the views out the window in the morning are so lush and green! Coleen's homemade breakfast was delicious (farm fresh eggs were a bonus!). There is no one else I'd rather stay with on my road trips!

Just by being themselves we felt very "at home." Ross came out to meet us as we drove up. Coleen was rocking on the front porch. They give a very accurate description of their home on their website. It is a working farm, has a cozy rustic cabin feel, and they do have two very friendly and well-behaved dogs.

Coleen and Ross were great hosts! Coleen was very knowledgeable about the area and things you could do there. The house was well kept and seated nicely near a few parks and water ways. It was nice and quiet in the evening and reminded me of home. I look forward to staying there again when I'm in the area.

Staying with Coleen & Ross is like staying with family. Their place is warm and welcoming, they go above and beyond for their guests, and they provide great conversation. I feel like I didn't just stay in a room for the night, but that we made new friends. Definitely a must see and must experience.

Coleen and Ross were excellent hosts. Upon arrival they had one of their eagle carvings set up with a light on it for Halloween ! It was neat. The room was nice and bathroom as well. We loved the decor and cozy feeling. Coleen prepared an amazing breakfast daily with farm eggs and herbs, yummy bacon, coffee and orange juice, toast and jam. Ross showed us and round the homestead and taught us more about rabbits for use on our homestead. We loved the homemade soaps as well. Coleen and Ross were flexible with our late night happenings around Halloween parties, going out dancing, and such! The first day Coleen even let us use a sewing kit when one of Aaron's buttons fell off his shirt. The doggies were well mannered and sweet. Coleen let us use her AAA card to get a discount at the Museum of Appalachia which we highly recommend.

Coleen and Ross were very kind hosts. Drew and I got arrived in the evening and spent a couple of hours chatting with them and playing with their two pups, before bed. It was a great nightcap post travel. The next morning we enjoyed hot showers as well as coffee, eggs, bacon and toast-- with homemade jams from their neighbor Betty Jo. We absolutely appreciated breakfast and the table before heading out for the day. Though brief, we had a great time (on our mini-vaction away from home between the holidays) and hope to stay here again during the sunnier months.

coleen & ross have are fantastic and their cute cabin is sitting on a little piece of heaven near knoxville that has a peaceful feeling of being in a more rural setting. coleen loaned me her navigation device and maps, cooked wonderful breakfast, and we all had interesting conversations. Coleen and ross like to get to know their guests, so this b&b is for you if you like to make new friends and relax for a while in their cabin. Matt's fun little country home was as fun and lovely as the pictures promise. Make sure to stay more than one night though, to leave time for exploring all the cool details that Matt has made around the house. Matt was a great host. We felt very welcome and yet he still managed to make our stay very seamless and easy. Beautiful location if you appreciate being close to the water. We did!

Matt was very accommodating. He offered to make a grocery run for us, but we did not ask for anything, he did have coffee ready for us. The house was very clean and had a very open feel. The house has many nice renovations and is on a sizable lot. Matt allowed us to bring border collie, which would have been a deal breaker. She loved running around the woods and at the park, which is slightly farther than .5 mile away. We did not stay at the house very much, because of what we had planned for the trip. The house was great and is ideal for a family or anyone looking to relax away from the hustle and bustle and want to enjoy the outdoors. There is a large fire pit and hot tub in the back.

My parents and absolutely loved staying at Matt's house. This was my parents first airbnb experience so they were a bit nervous coming into it but absolutely loved it when they got there. Now they only want to do airbnb! We also had our doggie with us and she loved having space to run around. The area is so peaceful and quiet that it's a perfect oasis for travelers that want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Matt has made the house so fun and welcoming and was a fantastic host. We stayed in Matt's funky farmhouse for 10 days while we were between house closings. We have two dogs - one with extreme anxiety - so finding a place with a private area to walk them was a godsend! Matt is a very nice guy and kept us updated with info we needed. We were impressed with the creative touches in the house (e.g., concrete countertops, Mason jar lights, reclaimed wood and metal accents). We only used one bedroom, but there is plenty of space for a larger group. We enjoyed watching Apple TV (binged on Game of Thrones and Orange it the New Black) and sitting in the hot tub. Although we were not vacationing per se, we were able to relax and enjoy some much-needed down time between moves.

We enjoyed every bit of staying at the Fun little country home in Knoxville. Matt was a very good host and made sure all our needs were met. Enjoyed the peaceful backyard with the hot tub and the relaxing swing set by the fire pit in the front.

I have stayed at Sherri's place once before, in November 2016. When I was planning my most recent venture, I did not even consider anywhere else. As I've stated before, the location is in a quiet area of Knoxville and is perfect for an individual or couples looking for a romantic getaway. Sherri decorated the place for Valentine's Day, which was a great touch.

We have done a lot of traveling during the 46 years of our marriage and this was the one of the best accommodations. Had there been any needs, we felt that Sherri would have taken care of them based on the way she handled the booking and planning for our arrival. The house was well equipped and comfortable and the setting was truly idyllic. There was construction so it is best to go via Hardin Valley Road to Reagan and the gps will take you the rest of the way. Look for the mailbox across from the driveway. The location is well worth it and it is not far from restaurants and supermarkets. We plan to return and we thank Sherri for anticipating the guests' needs and creating a feeling of comfort both in the home and with our communications with her.

Sherri's home is amazing! Big and beautiful! It served my family so well. The furniture is comfortable, small touches like flowers and travel sized toiletries were left out for us. The whole place was spotless. We only needed to utilize about half of the total space for our family of 4. We made friends with the horses and fed them apples each morning. The big picture window in the living room looks out on a gorgeous country landscape. I can't say enough good things about the listing. Probably the best value of an AirBnB I've ever had.

Sherri in a great host. The house was everything promised. You feel like you are in the country but you are only minutes from great food and shopping. Sherri was very attentive to us, several times making sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was going well. If you're going to Knoxville, I recommend this lady completely.

Beautiful peaceful country setting. It is a good drive to Knoxville downtown and UT, but with the location there are many easy routes to get to the downtown area by avoiding traffic congestion. When Sherri finishes the repair on the downstairs this will be an exceptionally spacious and comfortable place to stay.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The amenities provided are luxurious and the location is amazing. Very quiet, scenic, relaxing and perfect for groups. Unlike many hosts, they called 2 days in advance to arrange check-in details, which made everything easy. Thanks again for everything!

We celebrated my Grandmother's 90th Birthday at this wonderful cabin on the lake. Plenty of open space in the cabin and outside. Enjoyed a bon fire and some fishing from the private dock. And ended the day watching the sunset over the lake right from the front porch! Everything we needed was there, and Janis provided fantastic communication before our stay. We would definitely visit this little slice of heaven again.

It is a really beautiful and sweet house with awesome lake view. Beds are good, all rooms good , everything prepared especially towels! You can barbecue outside or drink coffee on balcony or have everyone sitting around inside. Landlord quick responded to our questions and problems. We will recommend to every family and groups of friend/couples to stay.

House was big, clean and was in great location. I would definitely recommend this house! The only negative was the camera in the living room. I have seen them outside before but never in a house I was renting, it's a 100% full privacy issue to me. Otherwise Shana has a beautiful house worth staying at for the bridal party or family trips to the Knoxville area!

This house is clean and well maintained, comfy beds and lots of space for people to spread out! It is so close to lots of food and shopping and at the same time in a neighborhood that isn't near the noise and congestion. We will definitely come back. We had a wonderful stay at Shanna's house. The west Knoxville location is near grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. Check in was flexible and efficient. The house was immaculate, very comfortable, and well stocked. We particularly enjoyed hosting family and friends in the beautiful back patio area. The house was very clean, private and secure. My small family stayed for 4 days and felt welcome from the beginning. Jordan and Suzanne answered questions promptly, gave us private space and even had some food items (kid friendly) waiting in the freezer. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of room for my family of 5. There is more than enough space for vehicles. They even offered their assistance with turning around the moving truck we had. Our first experience with Airbnb was amazing, thanks to Jordan and Suzanne!!! I highly recommend their space and the price can't be beat!
