Places to stay in Neacroft
The Lodge is situated in the rear grounds of Sunny Vale in Neacroft. It is tastefully decorated in a relaxed country style and has a double bed with ensuite shower room. There are tea & coffee making and breakfast facilities, TV & WiFi.
Perfect for a relaxing break away for guests who like their own cosy space and something a little different. The lodge is constructed in pine which gives a lovely fresh aroma making it very welcoming and an open plan living space with electric storage heaters for heating in the colder months. It has a comfy double bed with duvets and quilts and bedside cabinets with a hair dryer. All bedding and towels are provided. The ensuite bathroom has a sink with a instant hot water tap and a Electric shower and a toilet. In the living area there are two comfortable armchairs for relaxing and watching TV and a coffee table with books and magazines. A small dining table and chairs set, a kettle, fridge and microwave and crockery enables guests to make their own breakfasts. Please note there is not a kitchen so washing up has to be done camping style. The living space has double doors leading onto the veranda which overlooks the garden. This is perfect for sitting and whiling away a few hours with a book or glass of wine and watching the birds and occasionally visiting deer. The lodge has it's own area of garden and is surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. Parking is available in front of the main house with a short walk past the house up a gravel path to the Lodge. There is foot level lighting up to the Lodge at night but a torch would be helpful for the surrounding area. I encourage guests to be independent and I'm happy to leave a key in a key safe for guests to come and go whenever they choose. Unfortunately I am not always available to meet guests however I'm always available by phone if they should need to contact me.
The Lodge has a perfect Location! Neacroft is a small hamlet surrounded by countryside yet is only a short drive or cycle up to the open forest and the coast. It's only 1 ml to Bransgore with its local shops, pubs, doctors and vets and 3mls down country lanes to the busy town of Christchurch.
  • Great stay at Anne's place. Appreciated the thoughtful touches and felt at home right away. The local driving tips were a stroke of genius!!!

  • We had a lovely relaxing break in the New Forest. Anne’s lodge is lovely and clean and in a wonderful location. You will need a car to get to places though. Anne doesn’t disturb you, she just lets you get on with it. The breakfast bits and cake were nice and fresh. We will definitely look to stay again if we visit in the future.

    Daniel2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time, Anne’s lodge is gorgeous and feels very private. Anne is a very thoughtful host and we really appreciated the wine and cake!

  • Amazing lodge in a peaceful location, Such a. special place. We couldn't fault a single thing. As everyone else has said, the attention to detail and the many extras made it all the more memorable. The wine, lemon cake and breakfast was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the homemade blueberry jam. Everything we needed was there. Had 3 blissful nights sleep in the lovely comfy bed.

  • I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful lodge! A perfect quiet, relaxing, magical countryside retreat with no niggles. The lovely thoughtful touches on arrival were a real plus. We felt very much relaxed and at home during our stay - The Three Tuns pub is a must visit too! Thank you Anne

  • We had a wonderful weekend at the lodge. It had everything we needed, very practical but also it had lots of thoughtful touches. We loved watching the blackbirds and wood pigeons pottering around the garden as we sipped our morning coffee. A great base for exploring the New Forest.

    Bethany2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Good value. Quiet and secluded. High quality. Highly recommended.

    Carolien2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • I had treated my son and his partner to two nights stay at the lodge as we were all attending my niece's wedding . The location was absolutely perfect - at the bottom of Anne's garden in the New Forest. It was within walking distance of local amenities but away from neighbours and noise - just the birds. The lodge was spotless , well furnished and Anne had left a vast array of goodies including wine, lemon drizzle cake, biscuits, milk, cereal, bread ......the list just goes on and on. We met Anne and she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this lodge - it was perfect.

  • Lovely experience at Lou’s Air b+b, great touches the homemade lemon cake and millionaires shortbread were amazing, well stocked complimentary fridge and we enjoyed the beers and wine very much after our journey down. The bed was a dream as well as the beanbag sofa made for a very comfortable stay, huge tv with Netflix was a big bonus. Lou was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and on hand if ever we needed anything. The chickens and Narla the cat were a lovely addition and we loved seeing them every morning. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

    Michael2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lou’s home is the perfect escape in an ideal location. Lou really couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. Such a lovely welcome and delicious homemade cakes. The accommodation was perfect for us, so cosy and comfortable. Cannot recommend Lou’s place enough. Thanks so much! We will be back!

    Hannah2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far one of our favourite Airbnb experiences, Lou went that extra mile and very thoughtfully provided us with a basket full of goodies and vegan treats and a chilled bottle of wine. The barn was small and cosy with such a comfortable bed and a giant beanbag big enough for two. It was just what we needed as a weekend away from London, we were surrounded by beautiful countryside and we saw pigs, ponies, deer, cows and alpacas wandering around and with great pubs and restaurants to choose from it was the perfect weekend away. I thoroughly recommend staying with Lou.

    Lisa2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The Cwtch is a dream place to stay perfectly located in the New Forest. It's really clean, cosy and stylish. Lou goes above and beyond with her hospitality to make it a 5 star experience. All of the little touches she left for us from granola to fresh berries to fresh coffee and home made millionaire shortbread... and more! Everything was wonderful. She waited for us to arrive on the Friday evening before she went out and she was so friendly and welcoming and made sure everything we wanted was there for us. We come to the New Forest a lot and this is where we will be staying from now on. Thanks Lou :-)

    Jessica2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The "Cwtch" was extremely comfortable and clean. Lou was very welcoming and provided some lovely "extras" which all made for a very relaxed few days.

    Trish2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • "The Cwtch " is a clean, modern, lmmaculately presented place to stay ideally located for any number of activities that you may wish to enjoy, all of which was more than matched by the hospitality given by Lou,the welcome box has to be seen to be believed so many thoughtful touches , only downside to my trip was that I was only there for the weekend.

    Chris2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely space and home from home and you get spoilt with all of Lous treats which makes it stress free when you arrive not having to run round picking up bits. Would highly recommend.

    Sally2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time. Lou was a brilliant host who was very welcoming and had baked us a lovely lemon cake. The cwtch is better than expected, it is cosy, fresh and clean, located in a lovely area and a short walk from some nice pubs that do amazing food. We will definitely return in future!

Kenywn Wing is in a quaint sought after hamlet on the edge of The New Forest National Park and is situated on a tucked away lane, less than a mile from The Three Tuns, The Crown and The Carpenters Arms. It has proved to be an ideal base from which to explore the forest and beaches and attend local weddings and events. It is not intended to be a holiday home or cottage. The accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, cloakroom and small breakfast room. There is no sitting room or kitchen.
Kenwyn Wing is an annex attached to Kenwyn House. There are 2 bedrooms offering the option of a Superking bed or Bedknobs and Broomsticks style twin beds. You will also find a bathroom with shower over the bath, basin and wc and a separate cloakroom. Tea, coffee and a continental style breakfast are provided for your stay in the small breakfast room. Washing up can be left at the end of your stay or done in the bowl provided in the bathroom.
There are three local pubs in Bransgore including the award winning Three Tuns which is 0.9 miles away and the Crown and Carpenters Arms are even closer if you walk through Brooke Lane and past the recreation ground. Within the hamlet of Neacroft itself you can explore the lanes and wander down to the local small holding, saying hello to the goats on the way and collect freshly laid eggs before you travel home. Half a mile away is the incredibly popular Hair in The Forest Hairdressers run by Master Hairdresser Olivier and one mile from Kenwyn is an artisan pottery studio Moon Studios offering a variety of pottery classes (booking required). Also half a mile away, through Brooke Lane, is the recreation centre which has swings, slides, climbing frame and zip wire for children. Neacroft is approximately 5 miles from Burley and 10 minutes drive to breathtaking beaches, the open New Forest and 20 minutes drive from Bournemouth. Hinton Admiral main line train station is 2.5 miles.
  • This is our second time staying at the Kenwyn Wing in two months, and this time was just as lovely as the first. Marie is so welcoming and the annex is bright and cosy – a real home from home. We can’t wait to return in Summer!

    Georgia2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We wanted a place that would give us that 'get away from it all' feeling in between baby-minding our 9 week grandson, whilst our daughter and son-in-law were at a wedding! Marie's place was exactly that. It was a homely, well-equipped space in a lovely setting on the edge of the New Forest - we left feeling like we'd had a chilled weekend away as well enjoying the smiles - and tears - of a very young baby when on duty - thank you!

    Karen2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Marie was a lovely host - very warm and welcoming and knowledgable about the local area. The annex was completely self contained, spacious, and so private that it felt like our own little holiday home. It was spotless and very cosy to come back to after a day of walking. The organic essentials Marie provided were also a very welcoming touch. We would return in a heartbeat!

    Georgia2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Maries place is well situated and sparkling clean. It is more spacious that it appears on the website, so that was a pleasant surprise. Thankyou Marie for my birthday card and cake , it was very thoughful of you. Would love to go back in the summer as we had the worst weather ever, but that didnt stop us from enjoying our stay.

    Lynn2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • This accommodation is fun! Being very close to the New Forest, it is ideally situated for exploring. There are some wonderful restaurants in this part of the world and you are very close to Christchurch, although it is necessary to have a car! The accommodation is warm, comfortable, private and very relaxing. As the description advises, there is NO kitchen or sitting room, but it’s easy to do without - you can sit at the little table and make a cup of tea without even getting up! We would definitely recommend.

    Lynn2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent host, very helpful, excellent communication and always answered queries, very clean, extremely comfortable bed, beautiful views.

    Nicola2019-07-30T00:00:00Z

  • We wanted a complete escape away from the “rat race“ and found it in Lorraine’s place. It was beautifully clean and stylish and just what we needed. It’s tiny but perfect and Winston, our golden retriever fitted in perfectly ! Thank you Lorraine for your helpful tips on the area.

  • Lorraine's annex is everything we needed - it's a beautiful, cosy little space perfect for myself and my friend and her dog to stay for the weekend exploring Mudeford and the surrounding areas. Lorraine was so responsive running up to the trip and during it and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. She provided a lovely breakfast with breads, croissants, cheese, fruit & orange juice and there's tea and coffee and a kettle there too. The garden is beautiful and a lovely place to relax in the morning before heading out. Lorraine's place is only a short walk to Mudeford Quay which is a beautiful area with pubs and restaurants, and its a nice walk to Avon beach and up to Highcliffe Castle which we really enjoyed. The location is also a quick drive to Lymington and the New Forrest, so perfectly located for further exploring. Everywhere in the area is dog friendly so we had no trouble finding places to eat and drink. Would love to come back - there's so much more we want to do in the area! :)

Cosy and modern, recently built cabin within a spacious garden on the outskirts of the New Forest National Park. We are surrounded by wildlife and working farms in the hamlet of South Ripley. There are country walks and bridal paths on our doorstep to explore. Jump in the car and you are close to Bournemouth (15-20 min drive) Christchurch (10 mins drive) The New Forest (5 mins drive) The Beach and Mudeford Quay (10 mins drive).
The cabin was recently built and we have designed the interior with a modern cosy feel. The double bed is comfortable and the decking at the front is big enough to sit and relax. There is a small kitchenette and en-suite shower room.
The New Forest is a very old medieval woodland once the favoured hunting ground of England's royalty. Today it is a tourist destination for off-road cyclists, walkers, sailors, historians and bird watchers. New Forest ponies, cattle, donkeys and pigs roam freely. Deer are frequently seen. Nearby Bournemouth provides the sandy beaches, bright lights and night life. Other nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Winchester (once the royal capital of England), Portsmouth, Corfe Castle and the Jurassic Coast, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. In the summer months, a wonderful New Forest bus service loops around the area. It permits passengers to get on and off whenever and wherever they like en route and also carries their bicycles. It costs approximately £15 per person per day. The nearest shops are in Bransgore, 5 mins drive. There you will find all the necessary amenities including a co-op supermarket, post office, chemist, doctors, dentist and off licence. There are several excellent pubs that serve food all day, a coffee shop and a fish & chip shop.

  • If you’re looking for somewhere inexpensive to stay for a weekend whilst you visit the surrounding area Jonny & Ema’s cabin is perfect. • Really cute cabin, perfect as a little base for exploring the New Forest and south coast. Basic cooking facilities available (one pot cooking!) and just be advised that the fridge is petite but surprisingly got a lot into it. Shower is hot, and lock box set up is very easy to use. Very warm cabin even through storm Dennis!!

Located 2 bridges, 1 road and 7 minutes 34 seconds walk from the Steamer Point beach, leading to a further 8 minute 14 second walk to Mudeford Quay. New 2 bed self contained airy, bright flat with exclusive entrance, off road parking, en-suite bathroom and a kitchen with all the tools to attempt to compete with some of the best local eateries. ( Also a walk away!)
Our Airbnb is an annexe attached to our family home. There is a separate access, although there is a lockable interconnecting door which we use when we have our own family and friends staying. We have two children and a (very friendly)dog so you may hear muffled family noise, but we are very respectful of the guests we have staying. Off street parking is always available.
We are so lucky to live in Mudeford. We have everything on our doorstep. Friars Cliff beach, Avon Beach, and Mudeford Quay are a short level walk away. Highcliffe Castle is a beautiful 15minute beach/ forest walk away. The New Forest National Park, is 10 minutes cycle / drive and has some stunning trails, villages and pubs. We have bus and train links to Bournemouth, Southampton, Lymington and further surrounding areas of Dorset and Hampshire. We often cycle from our house to Mudeford Quay, catch the ferry to Mudeford spit and cycle to Sandbanks along Bournemouth promenade. It’s a beautiful ride, with great cafe stops on the way.
  • The location of the accommodation is brilliant- great walks and bike riding, along with having easy access to all vehicle routes. We were warmly greeted by Vicky and felt extremely welcomed. The accommodation is very clean and beds are very comfortable. Definitely a little ‘home from home’. If you bike, make sure you find the time to bike to Poole along the promenade- we started off from Vicky’s, went via Tuckton and saw some beautiful sights that we hadn’t seen in over 36 years of coming down to the area. The walk to Avon Beach and along to Mudeford Quay were really easy and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

  • Great little space, very clean and tidy with all we needed for the short time we were in the area. Very affordable and the hosts were quick to respond when booking and prior to arriving. Perfect for the night.

  • Lovely hosts, great clean and stylish space, comfy single beds too! If you’re tall, you might want to take extra care around the sharp angled architecture, particularly in the bathroom! Fantastic communication with Vicky - answered all my questions pdq. Proximity to the beach and interesting walks is super. We had a very relaxing stay here and look forward to coming back.

'Ellie' is your home from home by the sea. A static caravan (2018 model) tucked away amongst trees on Sandhills Holiday Park and only a two minute walk to Mudeford quay and Avon Beach.
The caravan has a double bedroom with large wardrobe and a twin room with two small single beds. The bedrooms share a bathroom which has a wash basin, WC and shower. Beds are made up for your arrival. Toilet paper and soap is provided however you will need to bring your own towels. There is a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. A table which seats four is in the kitchen area. The lounge area has a corner sofa, TV with DVD player and a flame effect gas fire with mood lighting. A decked area with seating surrounds two sides of the caravan. Great for al fresco dining. The caravan has Wifi and there is an allocated parking space alongside the caravan. Access to the caravan is via four good steps with a rail up onto the decking. Once inside the caravan it is level access. The doorways into the bedrooms and bathroom are narrow and would not accommodate anyone needing to mobilise with a frame or walker.
Sandhils Holiday Park is in a fantastic location tucked away amongst trees yet a few steps away from Mudeford promenade and quay. Avon beach is a short walk along the promenade. Sandhills has an open air swimming pool (seasonal opening times) and a small gym. The clubhouse also offers some entertainment. There is a selection of cafes, restaurants and small local shops within easy walking distance. A fish stall can be found on Mudeford Quay which sells shellfish and the local catch of the day. Larger shops and a variety of restaurants are available in nearby Christchurch (approximately 2 miles away)
  • This is a lovely mobile home, spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed. It was a surprise to be able to watch the squirrels at play just outside the window. The location is excellent, perfect for a long beach walk even in January. We were 4 adults and the second bedroom is as described, quite small but we slept really well. We would recommend this property.

  • From the time we entered Alison and Brian's home we were made to feel welcomed. We were surprised when we went into the dinning room the next morning to be confronted with an amazing array of things to have for breakfast. Love the croissants. Their home is very clean and the room is comfortable. The home is in a good location for visiting the New Forrest area and Bournemouth/Poole. We highly recommend them as a place to stay in the south of England.

    Mark2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • On arrival a huge warm welcome from the hosts, who made us feel at ease straight away, beautiful home and service throughout, Alison and Brian are very professional in giving excellent attention to detail service, and so kind giving time to advise on all the local places of interest, I’m already planning my return again this year with my 86 yr old father, who loved there coastal escape too, we also feel blessed my car was just below our bedroom window , which was super, much appreciate that, keep up the excellent work, Alison and Brian, and do enjoy your rest time. Many thanks and kind regards, Hazel & Peter (Dad).

  • Alison and her husband made us feel so welcome. The room and facilities were as always spotless. A true home away from home.

  • Allison and Brian were delightful, very warm and kind. I felt welcomed and safe. The accommodations were very nice and everything was exceptionally clean.

  • We really enjoyed our stay with Alison and Brian. They gave us a warm welcome, a comfortable lovely clean room with bathroom made available for our own private use. Our our privacy was respected as Alison and Brian went out of their way to make sure our needs were catered. The breakfasts were amazing. There were tea (including herbal) and coffee available in our alongside the homemade cookies, which were yummy. With a wealth of local knowledge, the great location and local buses to most destinations; every ten minutes meant we could leave the car behind and explore Christchurch and surrounding areas easily. In the space a few days we visited so many memorable places. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home.

    Margaret2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Alison and Brian are wonderful hosts, and they have a beautiful home. Nothing is too much trouble and they have great local knowledge. Ask them anything! - For me it was local walking paths so I could train for an endurance walk and then local restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay.

The shepherds hut is situated next to my family home which is on the edge of the New Forest. Handcrafted by us! Perfect for bike riding, walking and horse riding. There are many country pubs nearby, Bournemouth beach is a 20 minute drive. Mudeford beach is a 15 minute drive where crabbing is popular! Nearby is the New Forest wildlife park and just down the road is Liberty’s Owl Raptor and reptile centre. Burley is only a 10 minute drive away too where there’s lots to see and do!
The space within the shepherds hut has a self contained kitchen area with a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and a washing up area. There is a gas stove to use outside and spare gas canisters. The sleeping area has a double bed, and there is also a small table and chairs to enjoy mealtimes at or board games which are provided. The log burner is to keep you really cosy and extra heating is provided in the winter. Outside there is a seating area with a fire pit and bbq to enjoy in the evenings with a view across the countryside. The toilet and shower area is within a converted horse box which is private and stands next to the shepherds hut. Also outdoor games are provided. Included is a Tandem bicycle with two helmets.

  • Our stay at Sophie's shepherds hut was ideal! The little touches like the milk, water and bread meant that when we arrived we didnt need to worry about going back out straight away. Sophie made sure we knew where everything we needed was, and we had plenty of firewood to keep us going through the storm! We'd love to visit again when the weather is nicer to take advantage of the firepit and lovely outdoor space.

    Rachel2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying in this cosy little bolt hole near Ringwood. Sophie had thought of all the little touches to really make this a stand out stay. Any questions and queries were answered promptly. If the New Forrest appeals then this is a stylish and fun place to stay whilst you explore.

  • If you want some time off in total peace and quiet with a bit of wilderness to it, I highly recommend this place

    Sylwia2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Friendly host, thoughtful touches, accommodation so warm and cosy, lovely evening by the firepit, fire roaring, drinks flowing, listening to the owls hooting! A lovely relaxing stay (with a quick whizz round the local area on the tandem!)

    Joanna2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in the Shepherd's hut. Everything was clean and tidy and Sophie had thought of everything. We stayed in January but with heated blankets, radiators and the log fire we were more than warm enough. The space is decorated beautifully and has everything you could need - even a cheeky G&T! There was good wifi and while unfortunately the weather wasn't good for our stay, equipment for a BBQ was left for us. The hosts were friendly and responded to messages instantly, providing clear and helpful directions and a generally great trip. Thanks!

A 3 bedroomed property with gardens to the front and rear, and a driveway. The garden room has a huge sofa that's over 7ft of plushness...and a wood burning stove. Feed the birds, hedgehogs and Go Wild in Mudeford. We are close to all the area has to offer and we want you to love it here and wont disappoint you. A welcome basket awaits your arrival. Just 1 minute to the cricket ground/ see photos & fishernman's bank 4min. Mudeford Quay & nature reserve are in walking distance of the house.
Wild About Mudeford has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. A good sized garden full of wildlife, decking and seating with a second area alongside the beach hut in the middle of it all. Full central heating (with override) and also a wood burning stove, for colder days & nights. Lots of books, games, baking equipment: plus most store cupboard essentials here for you– plenty to keep you occupied when you're indoors, and a massive choice of adventures just on your doorstep. There are three comfortable bedrooms, 1 super-kingsize and two doubles. A modern full equipped kitchen with everything to cook, bake or mix to your hearts delight. There is a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.. A double oven, a microwave, a food processor, and a liquidiser too... a family bathroom, with a really good shower over the bath, that stays constant and a separate cloakroom/toilet (saniflow!!) downstairs, a dining area that seats 6 people, and a lovely cosy lounge with two sofas, a wood burning stove Tv, Freeview and a DVD player. Lots of games, DVDs and puzzles for all age. We built the garden room using a local architect and we were the first in the area to use straw bales as insulation and it makes for a very snug natural environment. There is a ECO-Festival in March at Highciffe Castle, brand new this year on March 22nd...book for 3 nights and get our ECO discount.
It still surprises us that its so quiet in this part of Mudeford, just the odd car goes past but normally you can just hear the birds and maybe a lawnmower or two... We have the best fish and chip shop just by the park/cricket ground at 5 mins walk, at the most... People do travel for Alexanders and boy do they queue...get there early or expect a good twenty minute wait at peak time...Nearest pubs are with 10-20 mins walk: The Nelson Tavern (end of our road & nearest) The haven at the quay and The Rising Sun, a great pub with a Thai chef and menu... really good.. Our local Indian is The Kashmir opposite the spa and the best independent off licence for miles and miles.

  • We had a friendly and helpful welcome - good local tips! After that, we felt like we were completely in our own place, though knew we could speak to Trish if needed. Comfy and cosy studio. Very clean. Nice breakfast and tea bits. Well located for beaches and walks. Comfy bed suited my 36 week pregnant naps and lie ins! Thoroughly recommend a drink at the Snug, lunch at the Street Cafe and take away fish and chips from the Priory in Christchurch.

Even if sometimes things don’t go exactly to plan, you can be sure Deb will do her outmost for your stay to be perfect anyway. Our family had some unforeseen changes to our original booking, but because of outstanding communication, flexibility and hospitality on Deb’s part we had an absolutely wonderful work/leisure week being her guests. Perfect for the whole family. Sometimes things don’t turn out the way you think, sometimes they exceed your expectations. And this time it did. Thank you, Deb! We will definitely be back! • Great place to stay to chill out with all the homely touches. Lovely area to explore as well - definitely recommend!

  • Laura's place was lovely. Great to be created with a bottle of milk, some cookies and fresh flowers! Log burner was great, lots of wood, kindling and matches all there. Lots of maps, brochures of things to do that was very helpful. The local pub is lovely, great snacks! Real pork scratchings, that looked more like actual crackling! It is a one way system, so we did get a bit lost as the sat Nav doesn't seem to be that accurate. Laura did give us directions but still got a bit lost! We ended up just putting in the Woolpack Inn, and then turned left when we got to the pub (as one way it doesn't matter what way you're coming from for it to be a left turn). Overall, even though the rain came down everyday, we still really enjoyed it 😊 very clean, tidy, all utensils you could need there, and was salt, pepper, oil, the things that come in handy! Board games, and DVDs also, and the bed was very comfy. Thanks for a great stay!

  • Beautiful cabin in the New Forest! We had a great weekend here. The location is great - the cabin is in walking distance of a few pubs and shops and a short drive to the beach. The cabin itself is beautiful, well furnished and really clean, with great fees. The hot tub is a great added bonus. I would really recommend this place! We would definitely go back

  • We have just returned from a wonderful few days break at Anthony’s cabin. Although we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Anthony in person he was very responsive to answering our questions and accommodating our requests and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this break to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing few days away.

    Cassandra2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a perfect 2 night stay here for our mini-moon. The Chic cabin is modern & cosy with a great view & everything you need for your stay. Hosts were always on hand if we required anything. Hot tub was great for relaxing day or night ( stars were visable at night ) Cupcakes were left in the kitchen on our arrival which were a great added thought. An perfect overall stay & we will be booking again very soon to re-visit the new forest. Oliver & Sophie

  • A beautiful cabin in a great location. The cabin allows you to sit back and enjoy the surroundings, very private and has everything you need. There are lots of self catering amenities aswell as pubs near by. Would love to visit again in the warmer weather. The host Anthony was available if you needed him however allowed you to enjoy the cabin with privacy. Thank you!

  • Lovely place for a relaxing weekend, Anthony was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Shame about the weather but already looking to book again for the summer!

    Laurena2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in this place for a 2 night stay for my boyfriends birthday and it was the getaway we both needed. The host Anthony was very helpful and thoughtful throughout! Due to weather conditions I was unable to use the hot tub, however this was such a lovely place I will definitely will be returning in the summer! We couldn’t of been happier with the location and privacy the lodge gave us, we highly recommended this place for a lovely getaway and I definitely earned a few brownie points booking this for my other half as a surprise!

  • Little dreams is an ideal place to stay, purpose built accommodation which has everything for a short stay. The location is convenient for travelling around Dorset and the surrounding area.

    Stephen2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nicky and Rob were great hosts and this started even before we arrived with a really helpful message advising us that the motorway would be closed on the weekend and providing some alternative routes. Little Dreams was a perfect couples retreat, the place is spotless and full of lovely touches such as a light selection of breakfast, tea and coffee pods a smart tv with a personalised welcome message on it for us and even a stick of rock! The welcome pack they have put together was really handy and we ate at a local restaurant (The Jetty) mentioned within which served fantastic food with awesome views! Would highly recommend Little Dreams, minutes away from the beach and with the New Forest a short drive away made for a great weekend away from London!

    Tom2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nicky & Rob were fantastic hosts. The place was lovely and clean, a perfect size for a couples get away. All communication was quick and easy. Nicky even went out her way and gave us a lift to the restaurant we wanted to go to. Overall we had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would go back again. Thanks again, Sam & Mo

  • Allseasons is a superb place to use as a base to explore Christchurch and the surrounding beaches. The easy access to/from all of the local beaches is perhaps the most important factor for the location. The comfort and tranquility of the bungalow is hard to describe - it is wonderful for all, including our four-legged friends. The full-size conservatory brings warmth and light as well as a place for coats, boots and dogs to dry off a little. We will certainly return again in 2020.

    Martin2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect place for a reunion. A great location for Mudeford Quay, beaches, Hengetsbury Head and other attractions close to Christchurch. We will certainly be back!

  • Exactly as described, Allseasons made a great base for us whilst visiting family in the area. We especially liked the location just a few minutes walk from Mudeford Quay and Avon beach. We would definitely return.

Ashdale lodge enjoys direct access to the New Forest, close to Bransgore village and a short drive to the beach. This self contained well presented property is comfortable and relaxing. You step out of the house in to the forest.
The house is split into two main spaces. All rooms are on the ground floor. You enter into the living room and kitchen area, a vaulted ceiling creates loads of space. The open plan space has has a large corner sofa, TV and wifi. We have included a section of DVD's. The bedroom is warm and comfy, a kingsize bed means lots of space. Off the bedroom is a shower room and toilet.
The house is surrounded by trees and forest. You will also be surround by horses, there are thousands of them living wild in the forest. You have to be careful when driving as they often fall asleep on the road. Its best not to hurry, but who needs to your will be on holiday. The village of Bransgore has everything you need. A supermarket, bakery, newsagent, coffee shop and several great pubs. (The Three Tuns is fantastic) The New Forest has free parking in all its forest car parks. There are dozens of them always close to the main beauty spots. Its a great way to see some amazing sights. One of our favourite times is when they let out the pigs in the Autumn to eat all the nuts. Its just great seeing all the piglets truffling about in the under growth.
  • A great location for exploring the forest or the coast as not too far away.

Host is very nice and responsive. Can only recommend! And would definitely stay there again... just longer :)

  • We had a great two night stay at Kathy's. The accommodation is spacious, spotlessly clean and there were provisions provided such as breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, fruit teas, hot chocolate, milk, orange juice, bread, butter and jam. The bathroom is lovely with twin basins and a large shower, there were products provided such as shampoo, body wash, handwash and other items, even a small emergency sewing kit which we had to use. Kathy and Des are very friendly and gave us good advice about the local area and places to eat. Their place is in a great location in a quiet cul-de-sac and only a few minutes walk down to the beach. We would highly recommend a stay here.

    Martin2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The room and bathroom were spotless, and there were all the amenities we could ask for. We felt very relaxed, and although the main house was just next door, it was actually still a very private space tucked around the corner. It was a lot bigger than I expected and what I loved the most was that Kathy left us instructions to walk to the local beach (5 mins) and also the local castle (30 mins). Thanks Kathy, we will come again.

  • A very sweet caravan in a lovely, quiet caravan park the heart of the New Forest area. The caravan is really homely and cosy and very well equipped. It is clearly someone’s much loved holiday home - not just a rental. Kelly was a great host - communication was easy. She organised for our passes so we could use all the site’s amenities. The caravan park is great - swimming pools, playground, soft play and plenty of entertainment for the kids. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

  • We had a lovely stay at Kelly's Caravan. My husband is not keen on parks but this one is not at all like the ones you hear about. It is clean, classy and a perfect location to the beach and town and the lovely Highcliffe. The Caravan was clean and had so many little extra touches that we did not expect like shower gels and cookies. Lots of towels provided and linen clean. The Caravan has ample parking closeby and a lovely little outside seating area. We only had coffee at the Main reception but the cafe looked lovely and the staff were friendly. My son had a quick swim in the indoor pool and he loved it. We arrived close to midnight and had no problem collecting the keys from reception and we also had a late checkout which was much appreciated. Great communication from Kelly. We will definitely stay here again when we visit family in Christchurch. Lovely cosy little place that feels like you are at the Seaside with the beach theme.

  • Very adorable little cabin. Can get a little cold but plenty of blankets are available, a little fire (which was lit for us as we arrived) and a heated blanket in the bed, meant this wasn’t an issue. Beautiful scenery and not too far from nearest town.

    Andrew2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful log cabin , lovely and warm with the log fire . The hot tub is a fab location with lovely views over fields and sheltered from the winds . Remember a dressing gown in colder weather to get from cabin to tub . Highly recommend. Thanks Sophie

  • Fantastic little cabin with all that you need to get away from everything, the weather was bad but with the stove glowing away and playing a few card games it was all very magical! Both evenings we were in the hot tub and sat drinking wine and watching the storm 🥰

  • The most perfect two nights in the middle of nowhere for my boyfriends 30th birthday. He loved it! I never knew I could spend so many hours in a hot tub listening to nature!! We wish we were still there. Brilliant communication from Sophie the whole time, great local pub recommendations and the Prosecco and birthday cake she had left ready for our arrival really made it a lovely personal experience. Thank you so much for having us we will definitely come back again some time! Rachel and Matt. Xx

Lee was really helpful and flexible with check in/out times, parking and keeping us updated by text with any extra info. Thanks again for a stress free stay! We'd definitely use your appartment again in the future.

From the very first contact through Airbnb to the friendly welcome in person, I knew I was going to enjoy this visit. The flat is super. Conveniently positioned in just off the centre of the town and featuring every convenience I might need in the accommodation itself. Thank you, Lee and Emma!
