A place with space for your family or group of friends to get together to share memories and toast the future. Somewhere that’s homely with touches of luxury and features you just don’t get back home. Ernesettle House is that special place for your special occasion. A detached Grade II listed ex-naval officer’s house, it’s surrounded by plenty of green space, has amazing views and facilities that are ideal for family get-togethers or celebrations with friends. This section is entitled ‘the space’ and there really is plenty of it to talk about. Let’s start in the games room, the place where everyone is likely to want to gather at some point. There’s a bar area in here, so you can all take turns being landlord or landlady and serving up everyone’s favourite tipple. Sports fans will be in their element in here, with a pool table and dartboard. For guests who aren’t into games, or for those who’ve just lost at pool, there’s the quieter lounge area, a place to reflect and relax in front of the television after dinner or with the Sunday papers Speaking of dinner, if you decide against a takeaway and a few of your party have agreed to do the cooking, there’s a large, country-style kitchen fully equipped with everything required to feed everyone. And when the time comes to tuck in, there’s a table that seats 8 right in the centre of the kitchen and a smaller dining table at one end that seats four. As for the bedrooms, there’s six in total, two with ensuites but all with the kind of space and look and feel that wouldn’t look out of place in a plush hotel, such is the high spec finish and care and attention that’s gone into their presentation. If you don’t manage to grab one of the ensuites, don’t worry, the master bathroom is huge and bright, with a freestanding bathtub, and walk-in shower. That’s the inside space, so what about outside? The large front and rear garden feature a paved patio ideal for barbecues, grassy areas for ballgames, plus plenty of quiet places to catch some sun or enjoy some quiet shade. The view you get of the Tamar Bridge is a real highlight. GUEST ACCESS The house and its grounds are all yours for the duration of your stay. Its secluded location means there’s plenty of free parking for all guests. Please note that there is a working farm adjacent to the property which is strictly out of bounds. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS Ernesettle House is the kind of place that helps make special occasions even more memorable. And your hosts are determined to ensure your stay here does exactly that. You’ll be left free to enjoy the home and its grounds, safe in the knowledge that one of your hosts will make themselves available as soon as possible should you have a question or need assistance. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Ernesettle House enjoys a fairly secluded location that’s just a couple of minutes drive from the A38, the road that runs through Devon and Cornwall. Because there aren’t any other homes close by, it makes the property an ideal place for a family celebration or a friends’ reunion. GETTING AROUND It’s entirely possible that you won’t want or need to leave Ernesettle House during your stay, except perhaps to pop out and stock up on food and drink. But should you be planning to take in some of the sights, then Plymouth Hoe and the City Centre are both less than 15 minutes away by car. HOUSE RULES Please, no smoking inside the house. As mentioned earlier, the location of this detached house makes it ideal for parties. But please have respect for the property and its contents, and ensure the celebrations finish at a decent time and any mess is tidied up afterwards. As a family friendly venue. Ernesettle House welcomes children. You can bring your pets too, although please clear up after them and don’t let them into the house with muddy paws or onto the beds or sofas.   • What a wonderful house. We all had the best time. The kids played hide and seek endlessly, inside and outside. Many games of pool, table tennis and darts. Lots of delicious food shared in the large and super equipped kitchen, and we all slept so well in every bed! We loved every minute of our stay and woukd recommend this house to anyone wishing to get away as a large group. Wonderful!

It's very well equipped and the secret staircase up the games room was a fantastic discovery. My crew and I had all planned to eat out but in the end we catered for ourselves it was a real success.     Stunning, light and airy, top floor apartment in a 17th century, four storey home, with uninterrupted views over Cawsand Bay. Kingsand is a lovely, quiet village in an area of out-standing natural beauty, with numerous walks all around.
    Apartment is open plan to allow maximum enjoyment of the view. The bathroom has doors, but the bedrooms have thick, heavy curtains separating them from the rest of the space. The third bed is in the living area, which has many windows, so eye masks are provided for those who need it dark to be able to sleep.

  • if you are looking for a little piece of paradise in an authentic place, then welcome to the "lighthouse". If you like to look at the ocean, hear the lapping waves, the screaming seagulls, you're in the right place. You can even enjoy an extraordinary sunrise and take a bath facing the sea. The village is authentic and family. The beds are very comfortable. The only weak point is the kitchen is not sufficiently equipped but we can still get by. One thing is sure, you will not want to leave

    My Airbnb is an entire private flat located almost right on the Hoe with the city centre and all other main attractions such as the Barbican a stones throw away! Your stay will include a 400mbps Wifi Connection, Free Parking for one car, Free Breakfast and Tea, Coffee, Sugar and Fresh Milk! We can sleep up to four people - two in the Double Bed in the bedroom and two on the Sofa bed in the living room. We also have a Cot and a High Chair for infants. Any questions, please get in touch!
    Charming Garden Flat located on Athenaeum St with lots of period features, such as the original flagstone flooring, feature fireplace, original period cooking utilities (Not usable!) and much more. You will also have access to the Pool room (Recently refurbished) to play a game of Pool on the Slate-Bed pool table, and you will also be able to park one car for free. I like to ensure my guests safety so we have a Gas Safety Check done annually, the fire extinguishers are tested annually and we have a full Fire Detection System that is also tested annually (All of these certificates are in the kitchen drawer). A fully packed First Aid Kit is also now provided (From May 2018) after a study that found over 90% of Airbnb's didn't provide a Fire Alarm, Extinguisher or First Aid Kit. Thankfully, we're not one of those Airbnb's. The Flat has also just had a brand new boiler fitted and a NEST Thermostat to ensure the flat can be heated exactly to your liking. The NOW TV Box has also been upgraded to have a full Entertainment Package and all On Demand Movies / Movie Channels and Kids TV. For newcomers to Airbnb, we provide all bedding, fresh sheets, Milk / Cereal / Tea / Coffee / Shampoo & Conditioner / Handwash / Washing up liquid / tea towels / universal phone charger / dishwasher tablets & rinse aid and much more! We have also started providing guests with a Memory Foam Topper for the sofa bed which makes it just as comfortable as the main bed.
    The neighbourhood is beautiful, surrounded by welcoming and lovely neighbours. With the iconic Plymouth Hoe, City Centre and Barbican just moments away, the location of the flat can't be faulted.

  • We loved our stay, louise was very thoughtful and left a happy birthday note for my partner. I would recommend arriving in daylight, as it would be tricky to find at night. But even more just to appreciate the amazing views! We caught a taxi to Plymouth for a meal the first night, the second we went to vaults, a local bar 5 mins walk. A Perfect base for walking the south west coastline, which is what we did. Mount edgecombe is only half an hour on the bus, which was lovely.

  • Just wonderful. Somewhat of a Tardis as it's much bigger in the inside, this was a lovely little place to stay for a weekend. It is so well fitted and very cosy with the heating on it staying over winter months. If you're lucky enough to get a clear day the sunset will take your breath away. You have unspoilt views of the sea and coastline. Location is great, lots of great walks as well as pubs in Millbrook just a 5 minute drive away. Louise was really helpful, because yes it can be hard to find, but we managed quite easily despite heavy fog and darkness. 100% recommend it and would love to come back in the summer months

    Latitude 52 is a landmark building situated about 1 mile from the City Centre, and right opposite Devonport Dockyard. There is plenty of free on street parking, and it is adjacent to numerous bus routes, Devonport Stn, the A38 and the Torpoint ferry. Latitude 52 was previously a sailors rest, where seamen would pay a few shillings to have the luxury of a bedroom and a hot shower instead of sleeping on board. Now it is home to 100 contemporary apartments based around a communal central atrium.
    A 2nd floor West facing contemporary apartment with views over the dockyard and the river Tamar beyond. There's a comfy double bed with memory foam mattress, a well appointed open plan kitchen / living room. A nice kitchen is available if you want to cook in, bring your amenities/foods/beverages to cook, but there's also abundant restaurants in the area. It's about a 30-45 minute walk to the Barbican and other historical sights. Mike was a good host, he met us at the taxi stop and help us to the apartment and oriented us to the area and the apartment's amenities.

    After 1st guest it's £20 per person. My house is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in the lovely village of Millbrook which is in the stunning Rame Peninsula. Cornwall's hidden corner, Near Torpoint. Whitsand Bay, Kingsand, Cawsand and Mount Edgecumbe is just a couple of miles away. The house is ideal for wedding guests attending Polhawn Fort and events at HMS Raleigh
    I have one twin bedded room and one double room to let. Whitsand Bay with its beautiful golden sandy beaches is just up the hill about a mile and a half away. The picturesque fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand is one mile away. My house would be ideal for anyone wanting to start or finish their tour of Cornwall. The Rame Peninsula is in a beautiful hidden corner of Cornwall. It would also be ideal for anyone walking the coast path, ramblers and surfers. Also ideal for anyone working in the area or attending a passing out parade at HMS Raleigh.
    Millbrook has a tidal lake which is popular with bird watchers. It is a thriving village with pubs, restaurants and shops. It is peaceful here and in the country but not too far from the city of Plymouth. Ten minutes drive from the naval training base HMS Raleigh

The Eden Project is an hour away and well worth a days visit. There is something for everyone and leaflets for most activities are available at the property and most local shops but please just check dates as certain times throughout the year, some attractions could be closed.

Lots of little details like the welcome pack of scones and clotted cream tea, firewood for the stove burner in the lounge, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & ironing board, two televisions with Netflix...etc. We had a lovely stay there and would happily return again.   • The cottage is much roomier than it looks in the photos and it feels a real treat to be there as soon as you go in. Tess was very responsive and helpful. We took up the recommendation of the fish & chip shop and weren't disappointed. They stop taking orders half an hour before the advertised close time, so don't get caught out. The cottage is really well located for all of the local amenities, esp. Shops, pubs (2) & cafes (2). We found it very convenient for getting to the multihull boatyard (him) & work in Derriford (me). The people in Millbrook were very friendly and we really enjoyed the real fire in the evenings.

Local shops and the pub only a few minutes away, the locals very friendly in the pub. Posh Nosh what more can i say probably the best fish and chips i've ever had, with Cornish Pod only up the road for the best pasties. Enjoyed the whole weekend, visiting local sights and coming back to a real treat of a cottage. It was perfect, i loved the decor, the amazing massive bedroom was 5*, the cosy lounge with the log burner. Thank you Tess. I hope to come back again.

  • A perfect stay in the middle of all the tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend and also come again over my next breaks too. I would give 5 stars to location, cleanliness, convenience and staff communication. Pros: 1. Parking was right outside the entrance. Andy who manages house keeping responded quickly in guiding our way to the apartments. 2. The kitchen is packed in a very impressive compact cabinet that had everything we needed including the dish washer tablets. They even provided a small bottle of fresh milk, cooking oil, extra sugar which was very thoughtful. 3. The entire flat including the toilet were very clean and well maintained. 4. Check in was made very easy with accessible codes. 5. We got out of the flat and the beautiful coast was right there with walking distance to all the touristy spots. 6. They even left an extra bed in the flat which was very thoughtful. Drawbacks: 1. The rooms are not as big as advertised. The room has a queen size bed ideal for a couple. With the sofa bed one could push to 3 guests, but not ideal for 4 guest. I felt a bit crammed with 4 of us. 2. Toilet is very tiny, you almost have to play Tetris to get in and out. 3. Flat 1a only had neighbouring building views and not the sea view. All flats in the building are advertised under the sea view title but read details if the flat you are interested in is even facing one. I was charged £30 for an additional Person by mistake, but as Steve learnt about it he immediately arranged refunds. It had been very easy communicating with Steve and Andy. Thank you both of you for making our stay pleasant. Overall a thumbs up!! I am definitely coming back again making sure flat is definitely facing the sea.

  • This is a beautiful apartment in a fabulous location of Plymouth. It is the perfect location for walking to the many attractions that Plymouth has to offer. The apartment is tastfully decorated and furnished and clean. The bed is extremely comfortable and the sheets, pillows and towels are of high quality. Heating and hot water can be boosted if required. The kitchen area is a fantastic idea as it can be closed off behind doors when relaxing in the sitting room area. There is a dishwasher and dishwasher tablets provided as are tea towels and dish cloths etc. Coffee pods for the Nespresso machine were provided and additional ones could be purchased through the housekeeping team. A thoughtful touch was the fresh milk in the fridge for our arrival. The shower cubicle has a huge shower head providing lashings of hot water. There is high quality shampoo and conditioner provided as is the liquid soap and hand and body lotion. Toilet roll is replenished on request. Permit parking, which can be purchased prior to arrival, is right outside the front door. The front door and door to the apartment has a digital key code which were easy to use. Movement sensor lighting is provided from entering the main front door all the way through to the apartment front door. All in all a highly recommend stay. Thank you Steve!

Ryan is a good host and properly welcomes you into his cosy home and is always happy to have a chat about anything. This is most suited to people that don't mind kids playing around the house all the time (it can actually be quite funny to hear what they get up to) so a tolerance for children is needed. Everybody in the house are very welcoming and friendly towards the guests and you won't feel lonely during your time here. You can always go to the kitchen for a coffee and you are bound to end up in a conversation that is enjoyable. 100% recommend to anyone looking for an affordable stay with all bases covered.   • The Sail Loft is an absolutely perfect little flat for a break in South East Cornwall. My partner and I came here for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary, and we could not have asked for more. Jen and Andy were perfect as hosts, offering us complete privacy but subtly being on hand to make our trip more enjoyable whenever they could. For example we mentioned in passing when we saw Jen that we were planning to stay in one evening and eat dinner on the verandah, and when we went out with our plates we saw that she had popped up to put blankets next to the table for us. They were also more than happy to offer tips for trips, and where to park etc. as well as having supplied a wealth of material in the flat on places to go/ restaurants etc. It is incredibly good value for this kind of property. Millbrook is a lovely little village, with the gorgeous lake pictured really adding a lot to the stay. There are two supermarkets two minutes from the house for home cooking. It is a lovely place to spend your day/evening if you want some quiet time without travelling out. Due to the geography it can take a little while to get off the peninsula when travelling around to other places- with quite a lot of weaving through small/single track roads before getting to main roads. There are some lovely small beaches a short drive away at kingsand and whitsand bay, but it would be quite a long time walking distance, and parking can be slightly challenging. It is more than worth the effort, however. Some notes on amenities: * The flat is modern, airy, and perfectly clean. * The bed is comfy and was just the right balance of hard and soft for us. * The shower while slightly on the smaller side has a good water pressure and heat control. * There are ample pots and pans for home cooking, and a good electric hob. * Through no fault of Jen and Andy's, the WiFi in the village is not great. They have done their best by investing in a signal extender which is in the bedroom, but we were still only really able to use it on one evening of three, so if this is very important for you it may be worth taking this into consideration. Overall if you are looking for a quiet and tranquil time slightly more off the beaten track, with your own space, but also with an embarrassment of riches in things to do when you are ready to venture out, we cannot recommend The Sail Loft enough.

  • Awesome location in the docks surrounded by private boats, ferry to the old town and Cornwall, and a few tall ships. The space is beautiful, in the newly renovated dock complex. Easy walk to the old city, and short cab ride to other parts of the city. The view of the marina and nearby Cornwall are stunning. There are a few good restaurants in the complex, and we had the fortune to find a Sunday fair.

  • Stayed here over the New Years with my family. Really amazing flat in a great location. Check in was also really easy and the property manager was really helpful with enquiries. We had driven down as well but car park spaces were in close proximity and no issues acquiring one (we had to pay extra for the parking permit but it wasn't expensive!). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful flat and location. Would definitely recommend considering this place if you're looking for a base when exploring Plymouth!

    My home is a 3 bedroomed end semi detached house in a quiet cul de sac of 6 houses in Torpoint. It has both front and back gardens and overlooks school fields to front and woodland at the back. The room is a small double bedroomed room overlooking the back garden, parking area and woodland. You have the option to use all the facilities of my house including kitchen and lounge and your own parking space. The location is ideal for visitors to HMS Raleigh being only 0.5 mile away.
    I have 2 cats who are used to sharing the house. They are friendly
    My house is very closely situated to all the local amenities in Torpoint - Local Spar supermarket, Indian restaurant and pub only 5 mins walk away. HMS Raleigh 0.7 mile away and further round the peninsula lies Mount Edgcumbe, Kingsand and Cawsand Bays. (10 mins by car). Torpoint Ferry is 1 mile away (5 mins). Bus Stop less than 5 minutes away.

    This is a lovely single room facing south with a view out to Plymouth breakwater. It is quite spacious with storage in the bedside cabinet and wardrobe. There's also a small Lloyd Loom chair in there as well with a free standing rail for towels.
    My home is a 3 bed roomed, terraced house built in 1936, one of a street of houses constructed for Devonport dockyard managers. The front garden is complete but as an air raid shelter was discovered at the back, the development of the garden is delayed. The room is a slightly larger single bedroom with a view out to Plymouth breakwater. There is also a double room available for rent. There's a separate description for this under another listing, 'A Beautifully Decorated 1930s House'.
    My home is in a leafy conservation area 1.2 miles from Plymouth city centre, the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe. There are mainly Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian buildings in the area. There is a restored Victorian municipal park a five minute walk away.

    This is a very quiet area, surrounded by parks and just 20 minute walk from the city centre. The hosue is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are immaculate. Shaunghneann went one step further and helped me look after my dog while I was at work, insisting she walked and fed her this was a huge relief as I knew the god was getting well looked after. Recommendations to see - Maker Heights cafe (converted old wartime bunker serving delicious food) - Whitsand bay (when the tide is out, the beach goes on for miles) - Edgecumbe manor, (eat the biggest freshest scones at the Orangery cafe) - Local Devon and Cornwall pub (often live bands/quizzes or karaoke being hosted here) - Towns/places to visit (Looe fishing town, the Barbican in Plymouth, Cawsand/Kingsand)

    This is the whole top floor of our Georgian home in the historic Stoke Village area of Plymouth. It is on an attractive quiet tree-lined street with unrestricted parking, close to all the area’s amenities and attractions. We are convenient for the City Centre, University, Ferry Terminal and Naval base. The private sitting room includes an area for simple food preparation. This comprises of a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and a full range of crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. Tea and coffee are provided. There is a comfortable double bedroom with private bathroom. A fold-out sofa bed in the sitting area could also accommodate two children or an adult, but all guests must be registered.

    We are offering a spacious, south facing twin room in a family home with a friendly dog. The room is available for short and long term letting. There is a discount for weekly or monthly bookings.
    The room has recently been decorated, so it's fresh and bright, and captures the sun all day (when it shines). There is a built-in wardrobe with hangers, comfy beds, a chest of drawers and a desk. Towels are available on request. There is a 42" wall mounted TV in the room, and we have unlimited broadband.     Our house is a stone throw from the Tamar River. From the front the Tamar and Brunel bridges are in view. Our end of the street is very quiet, we have a small nature reserve and plenty of green space only a 5 min walk away.

    My home is in a conservation area close to a recently restored victorian municipal park. It's a short distance from Cremyll foot passenger ferry which takes you over to Cornwall and 1.2 miles from Plymouth city centre. Dartmoor is easily accessible.
    There are two bedrooms available. A double and a single. There is a sea view from the good sized single room. The double room has an old french bed and silk curtains. They are good comfortable rooms both with original fireplaces.
    Stoke is a residential area on the outskirts of Plymouth city. The conservation area has many Victorian and Edwardian buildings and is quite a leafy area compared to some other parts of Plymouth. Devonport naval dockyard is about a half mile away - handy for the managers in the 1930's for whom the houses in my road were built.
  • This was the third time I've stayed at Valarie's. Each time has been very good. Room is spotless and comfortable. I was also able to used a small space in the fridge. Location is good, it's about 20 minutes walk to the local Lidl and 40 minutes walk to the Hoe. Fully recommended.

  • It’s easy to find and just about 10 mins walk to get to the bus stop and 20 mins travel to city centre. To catch a ferry and go to beautiful beaches is also a walking distance but you can also ride in the bus if you want to. Very accessible wherever you want to go.

    I'm offering a light modern twin room with shared lounge, kitchen and bathroom in the Stoke area of Plymouth. Guests can use all kitchen amenities and a basic breakfast is provided. A supply of toiletries are available if needed.
    A twin room, ideal for siblings or friends travelling together. Long or short stays are welcome. You're very welcome to use my lounge, TV and kitchen for preparing your evening meals. Please note, I sometimes look after other people's dogs, so I may sometimes have a dog in the flat. Please check if that's an issue.
    In the Stoke area of Plymouth, around two miles to the town centre, Barbican and The Hoe. Also close to the beautiful Devon and Cornwall countryside.

  • Loved Charlottes place and if I get the chance to visit Plymouth again in the coming months, I‘ll contact Charlotte for sure. Though she‘s only just started as a host, I felt she had pretty much covered all the bases. She managed to connect with my daughter Ella which helped her feel relaxed and at home. 20 POUNDS/ NIGHT fee is too cheap and though I am happy to pay less, she deserves more. Besides the quality and comfort of the environment; Charlotte is a warm and welcoming host.

    Large welcoming home, quiet Street near bus stop, I am easy going, I work from home so any problems I'm always around. There is a dog in the house but he is friendly. available a family bedroom with TV in room, there is a shared bathroom, a shower room, kitchens available all hours day and night but only offering breakfast in the price (self service, cereal and toast only) rest of house is for owner only When searching for house address (Google maps) put in pasley street Chinese I'm opposite

Situated on a quiet residential street a stone's throw away from Plymouth centre with all its attractions and amenities. Central Park, Argyle and the Life Centre are on the doorstep plus the Naval Base is a 5 minute drive. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
    A private apartment with space for 3 guests, with one double bed and access to a blow up mattress and/or travel cot for a third guest. Guests walk into a cosy kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle and a selection of teas and coffees with a full dinner set. For guests' comfort, there is also a cafetiere, teapot and basic larder with cooking essentials, herbs and condiments. There is a local newsagent, Wetherspoons pub and an assortment of takeaways all within a couple of minutes' walk away. Back at the apartment, there is a shared garden with a relaxation/smoking area and brand new decking. We look forward to meeting you on occasion in the garden although we of course respect the space and privacy of our guests. A selection of coffees, teas, hot chocolate and breakfast cereals are provided as complimentary for our guests. The kitchen leads through to an equally cosy double bedroom with a brand new crushed velvet bed with orthopaedic mattress, and both firm and soft pillows to suit. The lounge and TV area is furnished with a leather sofa for a luxurious feel, and modern TV with access to apps such as amazon prime. There is also a selection of books and board games. There is a private, separate bathroom with modern shower cubicle and bathroom cabinet stocked with toiletries, shampoo and various lotions and potions.
    Segrave Road is deceptively quiet considering it is near the city centre. The street is lined with beautiful blossom trees, and guests staying in the apartment will not generally hear any traffic due to the location within the building. The street has a lot of elderly and senior residents so is generally quiet, and the apartment itself looks out onto the garden and neighbouring gardens so it is quite tranquil.

    This room is cute and small but functional. Old fashioned original wooden sash window. The room has a wardrobe, drawers, space under the bed for large suitcase, desk, TV & European and USB power sockets. Shared bathroom and washroom. Unlimited tea & coffee and self serve breakfast included until 11am. We have 3 other rooms in this property, please ask if you are struggling to find a configuration!
    We have lots of people to stay and it is unlikely that you will be the only guests. Our guests often socialise together. The beds are changed weekly or for every other guest. This is not a hotel but we do our best to make our home accommodating. We are a busy family but we still get the house cleaned 3 times a week!
    We live up a private cobbled lane. There is a great local park. Fresh seawater swimming pools that are free to use in the summer months, close to the Life Centre (diving and swimming pools and sports facilities).

  • Nikki's place is like a home from home. The whole family make you feel really welcome. If you are looking for everything to be prestine then maybe Nikki's place isn't for you but if like me, you want to feel comfortable and like being treated like a long lost friend then definitely stay at Nikki's. The bedroom I had was comfy and had everything I could need same goes for the bathroom. It is also nice to be able to help yourself to tea and coffee in the family kitchen. All in all a very pleasant stay that was not nearly long enough.

The room is small but is cozy and you have everything that you need to feel comfortable, you really feel like home, the 2 little kids, storm the happy dog and 2 cats, they all, are really adorables, always happy to help you and you can spend a really good time talking with other guests, or with the kids while you make your diner in the spacious kitchen. If you go to Plymouth, Nikki's house is the best place to staying!!

    This brand new 1 bedroom apartment is situated in the beautiful village of Millbrook and run by a local family: Lime Tree is five minutes away from Whitsand Bay – the picturesque forgotten corner of Cornwall. It’s also just a couple of minutes away from the twin fishing villages of Kingsand & Cawsand. It is close to many more sites along the Rame Peninsula, just minutes from the beach. From the apartment windows there are many birds and squirrels to see, as well as occasional deer and hedgehog.
    Primarily a one bedroom apartment, however with a sofa bed in the lounge area it can easily accommodate 3 guests. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer as well as every utensil you may need. There is a smart TV, games and books to keep you entertained. The lovely, bright open-plan kitchen/lounge has vaulted ceilings which give character and space. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable, with a dressing table, plenty of storage and black out blinds, leading to a modern shower room. There is also a cupboard which contains iron/ironing board/clothes line and pegs for outside/airer/dustpan and brush etc. With its own private entrance and courtyard, you can enjoy your own space, not to mention outside table, chairs and BBQ to make the most of the Cornish sun. We even provide fleece blankets to wrap up outside on those chilly evenings. Free off road parking is available in front of the apartment, which is very unusual in this area. This is a pet free apartment which is ideal for guests with allergies. *Please note that there are 14 steps to apartment
    The name Lime Tree was given due to the gigantic tree outside the apartment and the bright, beautiful greenery surrounding it. The perfect scenic and tranquil place to either switch off from the world or relax and prepare for the next venture along the beach. Millbrook is surrounded by sea, lake and river, it is in a valley so has amazing scenery every where you look. The local shops, cafes and pubs are a stone’s throw away, and with the village being built around a lake it makes for some lovely afternoon walks. The lake has many birds living on it including swans, ducks and geese. Sometimes we are lucky and see herons and kingfishers. If you are really lucky you may see dolphins and seals in the river or sea. In addition to the river, beaches and countryside we are: -5 minute drive to Mount Edgcumbe Park with its beautiful gardens, there are many events held here throughout the year. You can get a pedestrian ferry to Plymouth from here -5 minute drive to Kingsand/Cawsand. In the summer you can get a pedestrian ferry to the Barbican from here -less than 10 minute drive to Rame Head with stunning views, there is also Rame Church dating back to the 13th Century which is worth a visit -10 minute drive to Antony House, National Trust -50 minute drive to the amazing Eden Project -Just across the river Tamar from Plymouth, its famous Hoe, and the historical Barbican -15 minute drive to St Germans where there is a tiny train station for journeys further afield -Easy driving distance from Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, Cotehele National Trust, Looe, Polperro and many other fishing villages.
