Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Country house with sauna

Next to the house is a warmly decorated tiny house where a lot of light comes in. Equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove and with the most beautiful kitchen counter in Groningen. Upstairs are 2 sleeping lofts, each with a double bed. And there is an extra room with bed (*). The French doors lead you to a beautiful terrace with outdoor stove, sauna and the Groningen outdoor life. As an extra option, you can choose a breakfast or cheese platter consisting of organic local products

Spacious apartment in a rural setting

Come and enjoy our beautiful spacious apartment, partly furnished with vintage furniture. The furniture can change; I love change. It is wonderful to relax on the large lounge sofa in the spacious garden! The indicated price is valid for 2 people. You have access to 1 bedroom. If you come with more people ( Max 2 extra) than money an additional cost for an extra room of €40,- p.p. Spot the stork in the field, looking for prey, and with a bit of luck, you might even see a deer!

Walden is located in the middle of the unique scenic landscape of the Frisian forests. Trees, hedges and wood ramparts surround the meadows. With grasslands, water, and pieces of forest in between. It looks cozy, those lawns in the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. From the ice age, the area also got pingo's as a gift. Located in the middle of 2 National Parks; Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Would you like to escape the daily hustle and bustle? Or are you looking for an overnight stay near Opende? Then you are in the right place at our vacation home "Suyder-End", a nice place in the middle of the coulisse landscape on the border of Groningen and Friesland. A nice vacation home to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. You can enjoy cycling and hiking here. Also a base for a day of Wadden or a day in the city, for example Groningen or Dokkum

Pipo wagon Friesland

In our yard is this beautiful newly built gypsy wagon! This pipo wagon has a new kitchen, a bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Frisian forests are ideal for beautiful bike rides and walks. In addition, Drachten, Leeuwarden and Groningen are in the vicinity. The pipo wagon has a view over the countryside. There are several hiking trails and cycling routes that pass the plot, such as the Friese Wouden path and routes 51, 21 and 34.

Cottage by the pond

Looking for a nice place to relax and unwind? This cottage is located on a pond overlooking meadows. The cottage has its own entrance, coffee and Senseo , kitchen, and terrace. The cottage has a wood-fired sauna with color therapy and a wood-burning stove. The bedroom is located upstairs. This is 1 large space with two single beds and one double bed. The cottage overlooks a pond and pastures where horses, goats, chickens and ducks stay.

Het Twadde Hûske is a cosy, colourful apartment with a peaceful view over the meadows in Marum. Located on a quiet private road, you can enjoy complete privacy and a lovely terrace with lounge chairs. The cosy accommodation has a new kitchen and bathroom, underfloor heating and air conditioning (cooling/heating). A complete base for up to 5 people and a baby. Come here and unwind! 🫶

Blokhut Cremers' Pleats

The log cabin is located in the large garden of Cremers' Pleats. It is a cozy space with lots of privacy. When the weather is nice, you can find a spot on the terrace or under the trees. There is a tea house in the garden where you can drink coffee or tea. In the evening you can make a cozy campfire in the fire pit.
