Healing Mountain Retreat is aptly named! The peace and quiet is superb. We loved walking the trail (which was helpfully marked with pink hearts), and very much enjoyed the view from the lookout platform. The organic coffee and half-and-half in the guest kitchen were a nice touch, and Nancy and Ariel made us some delicious muffins. We appreciated the compost pile and other environmental considerations. Nancy and Ariel were great hosts, and at the end of our stay, they asked what they could do to improve the experience for future guests. It's already wonderful, but with that attitude and openness to feedback, it will just keep getting better. We would definitely return!

Nancy and Ariel have a lovely apartment on woodsy, fresh-air, back country road in New Hampshire. We really enjoyed our stay - from the delicious home baked breads as afternoon treats, to the hershey kisses, the guide books telling us where to eat and go - the little things made a difference! Nancy and Ariel were friendly and offered help if we needed it. Everything we could have asked for was provided in the apartment. It was great!

Nancy and Ariel were so flexible when we had to arrive a bit later than expected due to a delayed flight. We arrived to a note on the door welcoming us along with a delicious lemon olive oil cake in the kitchen. Their place and area is gorgeous and extremely secluded. We were immersed in the forest and nature for a few days. Ariel builds trails and he built one near the house, among the walk we saw a small swing set, hammock, tree deck and so on. It is obvious that they invest a lot of time in their home surroundings with so much care and love. We had a very peaceful and tranquil experience. We recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a place to reconnect with themselves! Thank you Nancy and Ariel!

Quiet , peaceful, gracious host , made for a great retreat.

Nanette and Sebastian are lovely hosts, and their cabin is a peaceful respite with sweeping views of their field of wildflowers. They fixed us breakfast every morning, left outside our cabin door in a picnic basket. We're already looking forward to going back.

The cabin was just as pictured with the view even better in person. My favorite was waking to the song of the birds, a pure delight. Sebastian was a wonderful and extremely helpful host. Thank you!

Easy to find and secluded little getaway. A perfect place to return to after enjoying the outdoors. Secluded yet close enough to some great local food and attractions. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Attached to an old farmhouse, the room was private and quiet. The bath is located inside the main house. Not an issue for us as it was mostly private. Bring a warm robe if you stay in the winter! Nanette and Sebastian were great hosts. Breakfast, coffee/tea, and water provided every morning, which was delicious. Very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely return!

This lovely place in Greenfield, NH is as interesting and beautiful as the pictures show. We stayed for one night on our way to visit friends and the location for our needs was perfect. Nanette and Sebastian were warm and welcoming. They have created a private comfortable space to offer guests with wonderful views outside and inside you can happily become lost browsing the bookshelves. We hope our travels bring us back their way again. One note, pay attention to the directions they give- our GPS was not completely reliable, though we did figure it out without much of an issue.

Nanette and Sebastián felt like coming home. We really enjoyed staying in their house from 1792! The were super kind and full of ideas and advises to give you the best time.

Nanette's cabin/room is exactly as described, picturesque, peaceful, comfortable, and cozy. Nanette's husband Sebastian was easy to get ahold of to coordinate travel plans and greeted us at our arrival, built a wood stove fire for us, and brought us breakfast in a basket each morning. The dogs are friendly and the view is amazing! Great hosts and a great location.

They also left me a great breakfast in a basket each morning. The studio is very peaceful, and it was convenient to visit nearby Brattleboro and Peterborough. Helen and Louis are gracious hosts in the quaint, country village of Wilton. I was there for a nearby graduation, so I can't comment on Wilton or the surrounds. They took good care of me the one night I stayed.

This was a wonderful stay! Deana and her family were so welcoming that I felt right at home. It was almost as if I was at home with my family. There was no pressure to make conversation or do certain activities, the environment was very supportive of you being who you are in that moment. Plus, it's beautiful. Deana was patient and friendly on line as I struggled to sort out my calendar and head around an escape from some work to be done in our home. We were made welcome, the surroundings were gorgeous (historical rural home, beautiful gardens, pathways), and our room was comfortable and clean. We slept very well on the full-size bed (we are medium-size people; larger people might feel constrained). It was a delight to have healthy food from an excellent cook (we chose to have supper with them two nights). We had some interesting conversations, including with their delightful younger daughter of high school age. The year-old puppy (Aug/Sept 2015) is charming, if a bit rambunctious. We enjoyed wandering through some old cemeteries and hiking to a beautiful waterfall while we were there.

The Darby's are the best. Don't miss the breakfast. Deana is tied in to the local organic community and she serves it wonderfully at breakfast.

If I could sum up our experience at Deana's home in Wilton, NH it would be "zen." My fiancé and I had a lovely, restful time! The Tree-House room we stayed in was cozy and suited our needs perfectly; I especially loved the Meditation Room across the hall. Other highlights include: their adorable dog Cosmo greeting us with happy barks upon our arrival, a scrumptious breakfast of french toast with bacon and eggs, spicy chai tea with home-made spices, and the gorgeous gardens surrounding the property that gave me a real sense of peace and well-being. We would love to visit again and I highly recommend others to as well :)

What a great place! What great people! What a great situation! What scrumptious food! This is airbnb at its absolute best, in my opinion. The old farmhouse is charming, my room was elegant in its tasteful simplicity. And the garden--wow just walking around the garden was an experience itself. Deana and her family are generous, interesting and extremely helpful innkeepers. Something happened to my when I was with them, some deep settling of the soul that I realize was due in part to the people and the place. What a terrific place the Darby's is for a retreat. Deana's tree house was a lovely experience. It was quiet, peaceful, welcoming, and restful. Her family and dog Cosmo made it a great stay for my 2 nights there. They invited me to join their dinner party the first night I was there and I had a great time! The place was clean and as described. The bed was comfy and I had privacy - had to get used to a couple of moths on the ceiling keeping me company at night, but they were harmless. I took walks around the neighborhood, read in the garden and their open kitchen, and chatted with Deana and her family. I also enjoyed the breakfast Deana prepared each morning.

Wow sums up quite a bit. Our hosts were fantastic, wonderful people. The property can only truly be appreciated by being there. My daughter and I had the most relaxing, serene evening. Playing with Mobey was a big hit. Nice walk around by the dam and the brook. Walking around the grounds wonderful. Our room was like icing on the cake. I will be going back and recommend you stay there also.

Bridget's home is absolutely beautiful, a heaven on earth type of pastoral place. The chickens are friendly and Moby the great dane is sweet and playful! Her family is hospitable, kind and courteous and she's warm and generous too! The room itself is tiny, and situated just off of the living room / main living areas of the home, but boasts gorgeous views of the woods and waterfall, comfy beds and colorful decor. I would recommend this listing to solo travelers or friends looking for a quiet get-a-way, or a comfy place to rest your head before heading out into nature.

We had a wonderful stay here! Laura's house truly IS adorable. Her taste in furnishings is beautiful and everything is clean, artistic and comfortable. She was extremely welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. We were in Wilton for a graduation. I wish we had an excuse to go back. We would love to stay there again. Laura drew us a map of a walk in the neighborhood, which took us along a gorgeous country road and a lovely trail past a pond. We were very happy with everything about our stay.

I needed to arrive early afternoon and leave again to return later that night. Laura was able to make arrangements and leave instructions that made that possible. Laura herself is very personable and welcoming which adds greatly to the overall stay.

Laura was a marvelous hostess. I was later than expected and arrived after dark for my first night. Wilton is a small town which lacks a lot of street lights. However, Laura was watching for my car and waved from her front window. She truly cares about her guest's safety and comfort. Her home is charming and very clean! It is the "blue bird " house and that is a good story to hear. With two beds to choose from, she guided me to the one which would be best for my back. I awoke to birds chirping and no back pain! Laura brings the best of what Airbnb can be to her guests. I'd welcome the opportunity to stay with her again. She also helped me with road directions and finding a local golf course to enjoy with my friend! Though the stairs to the upper floor were steep, the banister was very secure and my knee did some healing while I was with her. She even carried my suitcase up and down the steps. She is an "over the top" gracious hostess!

Susan falls more definitely on the businesslike end of the spectrum.That does not detract anything from the really beautiful home that she shares with Airbnb guests. The room was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable and she provided yogurt and delicious homemade granola and coffee in the morning. I would recommend Mulberry Tree Farm for anyone looking for classic New England countryside charm! Everything exceeded my expectations but the most precious experience was to get to know Barbara and Paul who are thoughtful, kind and welcoming. The house is a lovely old house built in the 1800s and we really appreciate the original woodwork and the fireplace as well too. The house is comfortable and calming with a rustic interior that matches perfectly with the beautiful nature surrounding it. We also love this experience of living in a sustainable farmhouse with animals around. HIghly recommended!

Barbara and Paul's house is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway. They were waiting for our arrival and then personally gave us a tour and answered all of our questions, and even offered to pick up anything we may have needed from the grocery store. Their house is very charming and cozy, and they have an incredible view of the New Hampshire foliage and skyline. It was so sweet of them to have a carafe of coffee and a bowl of fruits for us in the hallway in the morning; it was such a treat to be able to enjoy those on their balcony overlooking the fall foliage (and some very cute farm animals)! With their personable approach, the handwritten notes, the kind suggestions and care, you can tell that they put so much thought into helping you feel welcome and comfortable.

Susan's home is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed walking around the grounds and taking in the view from the cozy back porch. Everything in the home was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals for a group of 6. We hope to return!

Nectar Farm was wonderful! Quiet and secluded yet driving distance to many restaurants and attractions. Susan was very communicative and friendly. We enjoyed just lounging around and letting the kid play on the swings and run around the large open space! Definitely recommended!

We stayed at Nectar Farm for a creative business retreat. The scenic views and variety of spaces for our small group was perfect to provide inspiration. The supermarket is only 10 minutes away so while the house feels private you are not far from supplies. Susan was a great host - we had a very smooth experience and would definitely come back.

Picturesque setting, total privacy, incredible views. My husband and I visited with his mother and our three kids, including a crawling infant. House exceeded everyone's needs for fun, connection, privacy, and great sleep! Excellent for both dinner parties, and quiet teas in the incredible nature-surrounded screened porch. Big kids loved the swing set. No air conditioning, but the mountain breezes were divine and totally efficient. Home is convenient to several area towns for shopping, meals, groceries. It was a joy to stay here!

Our stay at Nectar Farm was lovely. We felt close enough to the 101 to get around the area easily to explore, yet secluded back on the property to enjoy some peace & quiet with our family. We took a beautiful hike one evening before dinner just around the property. So beautiful! The place was clean, well appointed, and Susan is such a great host. We no issues whatsoever during our stay, and hope to return next year!

I had no idea how great this place would be - was looking for peace and quiet and beauty and Nectar Farm went way beyond my expectations! It was paradise. The light and airy house was super clean and tidy and uncluttered and restful. Sunsets and views were amazing to see from the house. The screened in porch was fabulous and the beds were so comfortable. The house is very close to several amazing hiking trails and farm stands. It was fabulous. Susan was warm and welcoming.

Eileen and Pat are superb hosts, and very thoughtful. When Eileen heard I was going to an event in a town nearby, she printed out the entire itinerary for me, unasked! The accommodations are roomy and very private. Breakfast was abundant, delicious and freshly made. The garden view during breakfast was wonderful. The place was immaculate. Nearby, we enjoyed the state park with a lake for swimming, canoeing and kayaking. It was neat to drive through the covered bridge in our travels. There is a deli/market very nearby. Overall, great hosts, great value, and we would highly recommend this place.

My son and I had a wonderful stay with the Darby's while visiting High Mowing School (which we both loved). The house is charming, the beds were comfortable, Deana was warm and welcoming (not to mention being a wealth of information) and the shiatsu massage she gave me really helped loosen up my back after too many days in the car! We are looking forward to staying again in the future if Toby is accepted to High Mowing!

Deana and her family were very open and accommodating, and the home was exactly what were hoping for. The food was wonderful, and I'm glad we did the dinner. They were especially nice about the fact that we were traveling with a toddler! We would not hesitate to stay with them again in the future.

What a perfect oasis tucked away in small town NH! Everything was even better than the listing indicated; Deana and her family made me feel immediately welcome. My room was warm, inviting, and cozy, complete with electric blanket. I enjoyed the tub and the meditation room, and I have to say that Deana is a top-notch chef. A hot and scrumptious breakfast both mornings, along with homemade chai with local milk and honey, were certainly worth waking up for. The family invited me to a join them for local talent show, which I enjoyed immensely. Wireless throughout the house meant that I could get some work done. Many nice touches made the stay memorable, and I truly enjoyed getting to know this warm, interesting family. I enthusiastically recommend staying with Deana the next time you're visiting Wilton or the surrounding area!

I stayed two nights in the Peacock room, and had a most wonderful time. Deana is lovely, caring, gentle and thoughtful. She was my breakfast companion both mornings, as well as Cosmo, the fun four-legged family member. Deana was also very helpful in providing suggestions regarding things to do in the area. My room was perfect, with a comfortable bed, plenty of room, and a view of the gorgeous garden. I wish I had more time to spend at this lovely family's B&B - I just have this feeling I will somehow make my way back again though. I would whole-heartedly recommend Deana's place to anyone considering staying in this area.

My 2nd time at Deana's house was wonderful. It's exactly what I need :) I stayed in the Peacock room this time and loved it! Truly beautiful. It's a twin bed so it wouldn't work for couples, but for a single it's comfy! Looking forward to my next trip in July.

It was the hospitality of Deana and her family that made my trip to New Hampshire such a wonderful and memorable experience. She and her family welcomed me not only into their home but also into their lives. One night a most imaginative puppet show at the Waldorf School, another watching a movie in their living room. Deana’s home is a wonderful oasis of comfort and beauty nestled in a sea of woodland greens. The room was perfect for my stay and Deanna’s breakfasts each day were both delicious and creative. She shared freely of her knowledge of the area as I went about exploring southern New Hampshire and without her guidance I’m sure I would have missed so much that the area had to offer. For great conversation, comfort, and food Deana’s home is the perfect place to stay!

Jennifer was easy to talk to and a great host. She is Very professional and helpful. Place was great! Warm and comfy with a jacuzzi under gazebo out back. Perfect get away it even had a working fireplace with duralog a available at front desk. Parking was simple and mountain was only 1.5 miles away.

We had a late arrival due to running 7 marathons, in 7 states, in 7 days but this place was fantastic! It was well described, clean and everyone in my party slept very well!! Thank you!

Jennifer was very helpful up front with the communication. This was a unique arrangement in that she was booking out a room to us at an established resort so we never met Jennifer in person. However, check in was easy and friendly at the resort, and we even got lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a hot tub. The room was super clean and had more than you could ask for. Hot tub, 2 fireplaces, living room, laundry, kitchen and snacks were provided as well. NOTE: I dont think everyone will get the same room when booking - we were not expected to have a hot tub. Good location for a quiet and quick getaway. It was too cold to do a whole lot in the area, but I'm sure in better weather it would be a perfect outdoor retreat.

Listen folks, this place is excellent. It's even more beautiful than pictured. It's basically a modern themed attic with a spacious bathroom. It was very clean and simple. Bathroom has the best shower with modern, easy to clean finishing. Bed was comfortable with just the right beddings for the New England summer. All basic amnesties were provided with extras such as chocolate truffles, apples and bottles of water. A window that was easy to open and close, allowed us to enjoy the cool summer breeze at night. Adrian was a great host. We were running late traveling from Boston, and he was so gracious to stay up till we arrive and get us settled in. We were also traveling with a 10 month old and we were accommodated with no complaints. Beautiful views, green and lush. Birds chirping. A peaceful, charming getaway.

Great place to stay on way home from dropping off daughter at camp. Great general store around corner for morning coffee and muffins. Visited LaBelle winery for dinner and samples. Room was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. Hosts met us on arrival and on walks around town providing local history and activities. Thanks for the great stay and would not hesitate to return. Amherst also sounds like a great place to spend Halloween night.

If you like simple aesthetics but also want a comfy, cozy hideout, this place is perfect. I stayed here with my partner, but I would also recommend this space as a great "me time" retreat. Samantha is so friendly and very thorough in her welcoming tour. Everything in the camper is clean and comfortable, and the campgrounds are massive. It was the epitome of "glamping."

She was so thoughtful even leaving us home made bread and surprises for the kids and treats for our dog! The camper was so clean and comfortable-we all had plenty of space. We enjoyed the pool and the campgrounds. When in Barre you must visit Stone Cow-a wonderful spot for beer loving adults with lots to do for the kids also!

Samantha is very informative and very well-organized. The huge camper is nearly brand new and luxurious. We enjoyed our stay very much. The campground is a peaceful quiet place to be.

Samantha is wonderful! We got to the camper later than expected, but she handled everything extremely professionally. She was extremely kind and friendly, making herself available for questions/concerns no matter how early or late. The camper was a huge surprise - extremely clean with plenty of amenities. The outside area was set up beautifully. We were wary of spending a night in a camper, but it was extremely comfortable (even more so than some homes/apartments). Can't wait to come back.
