I absolutely adore this beautiful little studio apartment and Sarah is a wonderful host. I would highly recommend it to someone who wants to completely relax in a delightful little place surrounded by a forest of trees and a lovely running stream that you can hear the sound of when the water levels are high. Everything works great and every detail was presented to us. I cannot wait to visit again! :-)

I spent 5 nights here and I couldn’t have felt more like I was in my own home! It rained one day and I just stayed in and enjoyed the coziness of the space and listened to the drops on the fall leaves. The sunny days were spent running around coastal Maine with a great space to come “home” to. Would definitely rent again!

Sarah's place was perfect. The pictures don't even do it justice. It was very clean and perfect for our weekend in Kennebunk and Portland. Sarah was very accommodating and answered our messages very quickly. I highly recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with Sarah. The space was very clean and modern. It was very nicely decorated and Sarah even had things like tooth brushes, in case you forgot yours. Both Sarah and her husband were so nice and made sure we had what we need and that we were enjoying ourselves. The property was beautiful and it was adjacent to a trust with a bunch of trails. The place was only 10 to 15 mins from all the main attractions. So far enough away to feel like you are away from everyone, but only a short drive away, if you wanted to get to a beach or a place to eat. Sarah also provided beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as a beach pass (charge was $25/day until 11 pm, if you did not have a pass), which was extremely useful. She had a folder of things to do/eat in the area. Our cable would not work one evening, Sarah responded right away and her husband Bob came right over and fixed it for us. We would recommend this place for a couple who is looking for a quite getaway. We really liked the area and hope to go back again. We would love to stay with Sarah again, if she would not mind having us.

I’m in awe of this space. More importantly, Sarah and her husband are high quality human beings who have put so much love and time into the entire property. Great little, stylish space. Feeling of seclusion yet close enough to enjoy the charm of a number of coastal southern Maine towns. One quirky thing that guests should be aware of is that there is no ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom space is open to the remainder of the space, which can be disruptive to someone trying to sleep, watch TV, etc. With that said, would definitely recommend.

Angie's place was the perfect place for a nice little vacation to Maine. Plenty of things to do and places to go near by. Amazing hospitality, Angie was welcoming and friendly and checked in on us everyday to make sure things were to our liking! The actual space was great, cozy and still had everything you needed. The kitchenette is stocked with all you need to cook any meal of the day. Though the bathroom is in a shared space through the parlor, it doesnt feel like it's separate at all and was really nice. Would definitely stay again!

Angie's place was quiet and tucked away in a small town. What a hidden gem! It was close to everything and out of the way at the same time. With a private entrance and two bedrooms, her place was a dream. We loved the little kitchen upstairs.

Nina's farm was a magical stay. Me and my boyfriend fell in love with all the farm animals (especially the sweet black cat.) The apartment itself was homey and a warm oasis in the middle of the Maine winter. Pia was incredibly helpful showing us around the farm and so kind. This was my favorite airbnb experience and I will certainly be returning soon

Rustic slice of farm heaven. Cozy spot on a beautiful Farm. If entering through the active barn this is not the spot for you. If you don't like narrow stairs this spot is not for you. If you like cozy spaces and warm blankets the spot is for you.

Quiet, peaceful area with beautiful trails stretching behind the house. Nina was a gracious host and an excellent communicator throughout our booking and check-in process. A great place for a quiet stay in between days of sightseeing, and there is plenty to see on the farm itself between the animals and the trails. I will be back!

Such an awesome find. The house had so much personality and really just felt like a home which I appreciate very much. My daughter loved the animals and had a great time. Plus Nina was so great and really understanding because my daughter was very much underfoot in her excitement to see everything. Nina just took it in stride! Can't wait to go again.

Place is exactly as described. Nina was easy to contact and very easy going. Although on a farm, the apartment is clean, quiet and doesn’t smell! Would recommend and would stay again!

The yurt was great and right next to the brewery. We went on a Friday night and stayed for music, pizza, and beer. The yurt itself is clean and had coffee, berry bread, snacks, and some of funky bows beer! All in all a perfect stay I highly recommend :))

Such a fun stay. Yurt is cute and beds super comfy. There were nice touches from the hosts like pumpkin bread and beer!! If possible, visit on an evening when the wildfired pizza oven is operating at the brewery - best pizza ever.

The yurt was very clean and cozy. There were four of us and we all agreed the beds were very comfortable. We loved being able to walk to the brewery and everyone there was friendly. Our favorite part of the yurt was the wood stove inside, it was nice to go from an outdoor fire to an indoor fire. Since there is no running water, we wish we had brought hand sanitizer. Everything else was perfect and Paul was very quick to respond if we needed anything. We would definitely stay again!

Will be staying here again! The yurt was stylist and felt like home. Great walking distance to the brewery with friendly staff and great beer and pizza! Once the brewery is closed it becomes a quiet gateway

Perfect spot to unwind! This cabin is in a great location, the outdoor space is absolutely to die for, whether it's adults only, or families with kids this place is perfect for either! Lisa and her husband took every measure to make us feel welcomed, the place was absolutely spotless, and the added personal touches with the note on the chalkboard and special birthday card with gift was just the cherry on top. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. We will most definitely be visiting again!

Lisa’s place is exactly as advertised. Super clean and cozy. The backyard was my favorite part. Waking up and being able to go sit by the water was fantastic.

The house was perfect for us. Our toddler loved playing in the woods and it was easy to get anywhere we needed to go. Lisa was very responsive and accommodating whenever we needed anything.

Great little place for our Maine getaway! Ideally situated in rural setting with the lake in the backyard. Beautiful setup with fire pit and tree lights for night time chilling! I found it so relaxing! Lisa had everything clean and a thoughtful welcome board & even supplies for smores! We had a great experience!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was so cute and the amenities were great. Kayaks were available and we had a great night with friends and family around the fire pit. We did not have a negative thought about our stay except that we had to leave!! Can’t wait to visit again!!!

It’s a beautiful cabin and a really great deal for the price. Lisa was communicative and kind. I will say the only cell phone company that had good service there was AT&T (out of T-Mobile AT&T and Verizon).

Tiffany was so gracious to our church's women's ministry group. The majority of our ladies were elder senior citizens, but they were able to navigate the house and grounds well. Having a bedroom on the first floor was wonderful! Definitely reccommend booking Tiffany's place!

Nice and spacious chalet, in the forest. Quiet environment. Many nice sized rooms for privacy despite a group of several couples. Clean, but musty smell due to the age of the building or the humidity of the forest. Access to the lake from the road only and leave a small semi-private path. No beach, but nice hot water. 30 minutes from tourist beaches and ports. Few bugs. The kitchen is beautiful, well equipped and spacious. The cottage is a little dark on the ground floor.

Great house! Lots of room to spread out and not be stepping on anyones toes. Very family friendly... Kitchen is well stocked. AC's keeps the house nice and cool on hot summer days. Would definetly stay again.

Kennebunk Pond is a special place to be! The location on Shore Road is easily accessible and it’s fun to walk down the street. The home is immaculate with all supplies available. We especially enjoyed being able to have dinner in with plenty of time to visit.

We live locally and had my in laws from Oregon come stay with us for a week. Total, we had 4 adults and 4 kids. My house has 1 bathroom and it was... tricky. We rented Tiffany’s home for half of their stay and am so thankful we did!! It was spacious with 2 full baths. The kids played on the little playground or walked the trails behind the house. We brought our canoe and launched it from the right of way. The water was a little rocky at first but was clean and clear. The neighbors were very friendly. The home is quirky, as all camp houses are. She has taken a few steps beyond and has child proofed the home; safety latches on the cabinets which can be disabled and a retractable safety gate on the stairs. She’s also provided kids games and movies in the living room and toys in the bunk room. The A/Cs in each room kept the place comfortable except the kitchen which would get a little toasty while cooking. There are plenty of places outside to sit and listen to the loons. We had some crazy weather and Tiffany was so quick with responses. The kitchen had some basics; salt, pepper, sugar, coffee filters, olive oil, tin foil, seran wrap and laundry detergent. We all loved our time there and will strongly consider this again for the future.

Ideal location for large families - we shared this cabin with my sister's family and it was perfect - she took the upstairs and we took the downstairs. Great location, lots of family time space - highly recommend!!!

Charming little guest house in the woods. Perfect for a romantic getaway or even fit for a small family. We loved the location and close proximity to everything we wanted to see and do. Beautiful beaches, hikes and delicious restaurants nearby. Our host was so friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We’ll definitely come back again soon.

Charming rustic cottage in the woods. Aaron provided the household amenities to meet our needs; as well as beach chairs for a day at the beach. I enjoyed tea with my breakfast every morning with a view of the woods . Comfortable beds. Short distance to Goose Rocks Beach, Cape Porpoise, and downtown Kennebunkport. I'd stay again if in the area.

Great communication with the hosts. They were both very helpful and understanding when I had an issue with my debit card. The apartment was clean and was ideal for a couple or for one guest. Separate entrance was good. The shower was a little small but was fine since we didn’t stay in much. It was a little noisy at night and we heard a fire truck in the morning and a dogs barking, so if you’re looking for 100% quietness this might not be the spot for you, but it didn’t bother us much. Great host and good location to get to Portland OOB and Kennebunk. Thanks for hosting us!

Wonderful stay! Easy drive to Portland while still being “off the beaten path”. We had some of the best dinners of our life in Portland! Great for your furry friends. We left the kids home, but if we had brought them they would have been in heaven! This was a great, warm winter stay. The pellet stove kept us toasty. We will be back in the summer for sure to experience the lake and fire pit!

Such a beautiful location and even though the space isn't physically huge, it felt big enough for all seven of us to sleep and co-exist comfortably. One of the best things about Becky's place is the kitchen. We spent a lot of our time cooking together and so appreciated the wealth of utensils and basic food staples for us to use!

The cottage was cozy and warm. We loved the lake and enjoyed kayaking and campfires. Will definitely stay again!

This lovely apartment features more “extras” than one can imagine—an experience full of bonuses! Not only is the suite of rooms new, tasteful, sparkling clean and very spacious, but there are TWO bathrooms (one with two showers, including a tub-shower), a lovely screened in porch, another porch with a large porch swing, views out to peaceful woods, a comfortable living room with reclinable couch and chair, and in and on. The kitchen is fully appointed with everything an excellent cook would need to live there for weeks or months. There are elegant candles and special lighting including many dimmer switches throughout, a computer on the desk in the office space, lots of menus for local restaurants, a lock box for keeping valuables, and a dog bed and fun new toy left for my dog. I was very pleasantly surprised by the obvious care and thoughtfulness put into the decorating and furnishing of this apartment, and hope to return whenever I am able. Thank you to my gracious hosts!

Stayed here for a weekend in Maine , nice private place. Appreciated the extra bathroom amenities ! They have a roku for netflix and stuff which was appreciated. Everything you need for a weekend away. Cute private porch too.

We were visiting Maine for a couple of days with our small travel trailer. Eric's place had a huge backyard that had full hookups for an RV, which was perfect for us. Location was central to the places we wanted to visit. Quiet, private area. Great communication. Highly recommend this place!

This little apartment is in a gorgeous rural neighborhood and yet only minutes from Biddeford where there is a Target, a Walmart, and pretty much anything else you might want. It is spacious and decorated in all vintage furnishings and décor, with amazing natural light. It's comfortable and spotlessly clean, with charming touches all around.

Much loved home, convenient to the Kennebunks and Portland. Spacious and comfortable living spaces. Bright with lots of natural light and gorgeous sunrises! Jenny is an excellent host.

The space was very clean and completely as expected from the pictures. It was awesome having so many windows to the beautiful scenery. It was easy to get to Kennebunk from the apartment. We had a great experience staying at Jenny's and would recommend it to anyone that wants a peaceful retreat near Kennebunk.

If you are looking for a peaceful experience, Jenny's home is just what the doctor ordered. The condo is decorated simply and comfortably, taking full advantage of the large windows that let in the beauty of nature. The location is the best of all worlds -- country living, just a short drive to the shore as well as a short drive to Portland for museums, wonderful restaurants and a city experience. We would definitely stay here again. Jenny was a wonderful host.

This was a great place to stay for a few days! It is a distance from Kennebunk and Portland, but we already knew that going in. It is nice to stay outside of the busy town and truly relax in quiet. The place looks to be pretty new and was styled nicely. Appeared to have everything we needed and a nice porch to sit on in the evening and relax. Thanks!

This experience was perfect for my partner and me. Carol, Paul, and their beautiful dog, Kenny, are lovely, and their guest apartment is sparkling clean and delightful. The outside decks overlooking Moussam Lake, flowers, grill, and fireplace are all lovely as well. We hope we can return next year!

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a fabulous view of the water. The porch is beautiful... in the morning with the breezes off the lake, in the evening with the sunsets and flaming torches (if you wish). Hardly any bugs during out trip. The beds are very comfortable and the place is filled with thoughtful touches. We enjoyed our paddle boat exploration of the peaceful cove and swimming at the uncrowded beach a short drive away with its clear, delightful water. Our hosts were most gracious providing extras like firing up the grill for those of us used to charcoal grills. We plan to return.

The views cannot be beat. We spent most of the day on the water or by the water. Carol and Paul are very hospitable hosts. We had everything we needed in the kitchenette area and if we needed something, it was readily provided. Will definitely come back.

Carol & Paul are wonderful hosts and really make you feel at home. This is a Beautiful spot directly on a cove on Mousam Lake - ground floor apartment - extremely clean and very comfortable. Great deck with gas grill, kayaks, canoes and tall pines! Kitchen was stocked with plates, bowls and utensils for grilling. Coffee was available, as well as little snacks such as popcorn, kind bars, etc. Highly recommended!!

Carol and Paul (Kenny too) live in a really nice place on the lake. It was a pleasure meeting them and enjoying Acton for a few days. They made really good recommandations to us and take great care of the house.

This is an old creaky house in a rather busy part of town. It still sports the mid-century styling of varnished hardwood panel closets, two-handle faucets, wooden-sashes with broken counterweight ropes, stuff like that. But Pat has made it not only livable but charming for cozy stay that is a great value and convenient to the area.

We stayed at Karen’s apartment while visiting friends in Kennebunk. What a terrific find. We never ran into Karen or her family in person, but she responded quickly to any questions we had while checking in. Her apartment included stylish yet basic furnishings, including hand-painted coffee mugs. Speaking of coffee, we bought coffee and number 2 filters before realizing that Karen had already provided Love Buzz coffee — one of our favorites. She provided fresh fruit and basic supplies in the fridge, as well as a place to leave organic food waste for composting. The mattress was quite comfortable; the bathroom was large and clean. All-in-all, I cannot think of anything else I would have wanted in a place to stay.

I stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks while taking a course locally. The space immediately felt like home. Clean, comfortable, just perfect. Karen was an amazing host. Made my trip so comfortable and easy. I’m so grateful for my time there.

The place is nice and cozy, it has a home feeling to it. Bathroom is big for what I expected. Apartment is very warm you dont feel the chill on those cold days. Close to food/grocery and pharmacy. Great location. Owner has dogs but you barely hear them. Owners are very friendly and respect your privacy.

My fiancée and I have stayed in many Air BnB’s and this is one of our favorites. It was super clean and central to everything that we wanted to do. Apartment 44 is spacious, yet cozy and well decorated. Karen answers any questions that we had right away before our trip and recommended some attractions to go and see since we were visiting on the off season. She mentioned that she had dogs, but we never heard them. In the fridge she left us fresh fruit, eggs, water, seltzer, and milk for our coffee in the morning. It was everything we wanted and more. I highly recommend Apartment 44 to anyone that is staying in the area!

The room was large and very comfortable. Everything was clean and I would definitely stay here when I visit Maine again. The pullout bed from the sofa was comfortable and parking was available! Linda was a great host! Check-in was easy, lots of convenient street parking and off-street parking if it snowed, which thankfully, it did not!! Loved that it was a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. The room was clean and cozy, bathroom sparkling clean, the neighborhood was quiet, I highly recommend her place!

As mentioned in the description, the children around the house are a bit loud (running through the house, etc) throughout the day, if you are staying in your room in the afternoon, but it starts to die down around night time. If you need to rest up for the whole afternoon after a long day of traveling and are a light sleeper, I do not recommend this place due to the noise. Overall, the area was pretty quiet and relaxing, and the room was cozy. There were snacks waiting for us when we arrived, which was a nice touch after a long drive.

Becky is a great host. The place is spotless. Yes, like she says, it could be a little noisy in the morning but it did not bother us at all. Would not hesitate to stay at her place again.

Price is great for this private room with your own entrance & bathroom. It has a mini fridge which Becky had stocked with water bottles & milk for cereal & muffins made by her daughter! It was a joy to stay here.

Becky is one of the nicest Airbnb hosts we have ever met! She created a really comfortable and cozy space with many extra touches provided for her guests such as toothbrushes, little chocolate treats and bottled water in the fridge. And when the weather turned cooler, she left an extra blanket for us with a sweet note:) The room is even better than the description and Becky is quick to respond to any questions and helpful in every way. Even though Waterboro is about 40 min from Portland, it was a pleasant drive through the countryside. For the mornings, Becky also provides a coffee maker, breakfast cereals and Becky’s daughter bakes delicious treats! We really enjoyed our stay with this family and we would definitely return again if we are in the area!

Ann’s Songbird suite was very beautiful. It was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. She had books to read. She also had children’s books. I would highly suggest to anyone looking for a place to stay in Kennebunk to try and book Ann’s Songbird Suite. You won’t be disappointed.

Ann's place was just as described and was the perfect place to stay when we were in town for a wedding. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, and being able to let ourselves in and out through the garage was convenient for us coming and going while we were there. Beautiful Kennebunk, although little known in Italy. The location of the wonderful house, surrounded by greenery. The comfortable, clean and very welcoming accommodation. Ann is very willing to give all the advice to visit the area.

Beautiful home, could not have asked for a better stay!

The house and the room were well beyond our expectations. The house is very well located in the city of Saco and about fifteen minutes from the beach by car and 5 minutes from the grocery store. The house is large and beautiful, it retains its character of yesteryear while being very functional. There were several common rooms and a large games room. The cleanliness was faultless and we had a great selection of food for lunch at our disposal. The host put the attention in several small details and it really got us more. I highly recommend renting a room or Laura's house!

Don and Deb were amazing hosts. They were friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The property was beautiful and the RV was very spacious. The pool was perfect. It was close to Kennebunk and also Ogunquit. We enjoyed staying here. Our two young girls really enjoyed their company as well! We even had fun camp fires! I would definitely stay here again!

I loved staying in this room. The house is absolutely beautiful. It was fun to play pool in the game room upstairs. We had access to the kitchen which was good to make our own breakfast and store our food in the fridge. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone!

Laura’s space was incredibly unique. The home is absolutely gorgeous, will the neat/intricate details. Laura also goes out of her way to make the space feel cozy and warm.

We stayed in the Sweet Retreat room of Laura’s comfortable, beautifully furnished and wonderfully designed mansion. Outside our room, the large shared spaces provided us room to meet other guests in the kitchen, to have quiet time reading and meditating in the game room and to stretch out in the living. We loved the location which is close to Saco’s Main St.

the house is breathtaking! The bedroom is very small, but you only use it to sleep. you stay in the common areas and the common areas are wonderful! Living rooms, dining room, full equipped kitchen are wonderful! a highlight is the gameroom with pool table! a very good place to be!

A great place to stay. Has the feel of a cross between a "bed and breakfast" and a youth hostel with private rooms. A large house with great common spaces (living room, game room, dinning room, and kitchen- including some basic communal breakfast foods). Very clean and lots of local information to be had as well.

I only stayed at this BnB for one night, but I had a really positive experience. Meg is extremely thoughtful and down to earth, you feel right at home as soon as you get there. They have some lovely pets that are so very friendly and lovable. I’m actually allergic to cats but didn’t experience any symptoms here. They keep the house very clean and I think that helps. Meg helped us in a big way by dropping us off somewhere, which saved us time and money. We will be back if we ever find our way back to this area of the country.

Absolutely wonderful! Everything is as described. We stayed here for three nights and ventured out to Portland many times at night, which is only 30 minutes away! Meg and Marks place is so comfy and homey. My bf and I also enjoyed the board games in the bedroom and found that to be so much fun. Even though we were there for three nights it still felt super fast! Definitely stay here if you want a comfy getaway and peaceful stay. Thank you Meg for being so great, I loved all your touches and details all throughout your home :)

meg and Mark, Were very welcoming, the dogs are adorable the cat was a bit shy:) we felt at home very comfortable and clean, great location, we want to go back in the spring or summer. What a beautiful, peaceful, inviting, and relaxing home. Meg and Mark are delightful hosts and have the friendliest and most snuggable furry-babies! I cannot wait to share space with them in their home again.

The space is beautiful, filled with lovely people and animals. The bed is so so comfy and there are plenty of pilllows and blankets to keep you nice and warm. The light is amazing and there is plenty of privacy. The kitty slept right on my chest after I welcomed him to the bed. This could be very easily curved by closing the door if that’s not your thing. The shower was warm and had a selection of toiletries for me to use. I was provided with a robe and slippers as well. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and I really enjoyed getting to know them.

Meg and her husband are both so welcoming! Their house is very charming and beautifully comfortable- everything you would think of in a Maine farmhouse. We also loved time with all their fur babies who were just an added plus. The house is clean, exactly as pictured, and easy to get to from Portland or Kennebunkport. We would definitely recommend this place!
