The cabin is surrounded by nature and wildlife. Fabulous walks and cycling routes right from the doorstep. Close to parks, art, culture, public transport, and the city centre. You’ll love the views, location, and cosiness. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families.
This is a nature/bird lovers paradise. You are not surrounded by anyone or anything, except nature ! The cabin is spacious for two, ranging to compact for 5, but has everything you need for comfort and relaxation. As well as all the wildlife we have our own mini menagerie for guests to meet if they wish - 1 dog, 2 ponies, 2 sheep, guinea pigs, chickens, ferrets, degus, guinea fowl and goldfish.
Barton is a lovely little town with plenty of places to eat and 7 pubs ! 'The Ropery' nearby is a great place for live entertainment such as comedy, musicians and theatre - check out their website to see what's on when you're here - they have some great acts. Waters' Edge Nature Reserve and the iconic Humber Bridge are the view from the living room. The viking way starts by the river. There are lovely walks right from our doorstep, long or short, Barry will plan you a route if required - just ask! Far Ings and several other nature reserves are also close by. Hull - City of Culture 2017 is just over the bridge, it has many tourist attractions. Yorkshire is within easy driving distance - and its many tourist attractions. Cleethorpes beach resort is approx 30 mins drive. York - historic city, lots of attractions there. Its an hour away by car. Lincoln - historic city with famous cathedral. Its an hour away. Flamborough/ Bempton Cliffs reserve - great place for bird watching over the cliffs. About 1hr 20mins away. Lots of local bird/ nature walks right on our doorstep - Waters' Edge reserve, Far Ings reserve, Barrow Haven, the River Humber/ Humber Bridge etc. Barry can do you a route map if you wish. Yorkshire Wildlife Park - great day out if you like animals- about 50 mins away. Normanby Park and Burton Constable Hall - 2 stately homes local to us - about 20 mins away. Cleethorpes - typical English coastal resort, 30 mins away.
  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! What a feast for the eyes and the soul. We loved our stay. Amanda is so welcoming. The place was great with everything you’d need and it was lovely and warm (we stayed during storm Jorge). The highlight is definitely the birds and animals. Sitting feeding ducks while drinking coffee in the morning, what a treat. Loads of places to walk too. Local amenities were all close by too. Definitely recommend staying here. We didn’t want to leave.

    Newly decorated and furnished for 2019, you enter your private suite on the ground floor, walking straight into the new beautifully fitted kitchen complete with appliances, elegant dining area perfect for relaxed and cozy romantic candle lit dinners. Upstairs and you enter your warm living area with a small balcony with views of Baysgarth Park, furnished with sofa and matching chairs, soft lighting and a smart tv leading into the bedroom with it’s sumptuous antique french bed and en-suite.
    When you arrive at the property you’ll enter through electric gates onto a large drive with plenty of space to park, my house is opposite the Elliott suite and I’m here to help in anyway possible to make sure you have a great time. There are large gardens mainly laid to lawn with a 10m x 5m outdoor pool There is also a hot tub available for use all year round. The pool and the hot tub are exclusively for guest use. The Elliott suite has a newly fitted kitchen which is equipped with a ceramic hob and oven, washing machine and tumble dryer, full size fridge and freezer and all the cooking utensils you’ll need to whip up a romantic meal.
    The Elliott Suite is situated in a quiet town just 10 minutes from the M62 with several bars and restaurants within walking distance. There is a local history museum in Baysgarth Park as well The Old Tileworks Museum on the banks of the River Humber. Hull city centre is just 8 miles away across the Humber Bridge.
  • My husband and I stayed in the Elliot Suite for a very rare night away from the kids. The property was simply breathtaking will beautiful decor and little touches throughout. It was really lovely to have all the breakfast items in the fridge, including milk & juice for the morning. The hot tub was fantastic, it’s in its own gazebo type housing and a nice & private space to relax with Alexa in the hot tub house being a great treat to listen to music whilst we were relaxing. The hosts were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I will definitely be back here as it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed. Thank you Lucy & Stuart!

We literally stayed for one very spontaneous night after a trip abroad got cut short, so the fact that Lucy met us with wine, and had stocked the fridge with breakfast was much appreciated and especially thoughtful.     Set directly opposite Pearson Park in the tree lined avenues which form the heart of Hull's restaurant area, Number Seven offers comfort, flexibility, a sprinkling of design flair and an incredibly quiet nights rest being hidden away from the madding crowd with access via a private road.     We designed and built the apartment at Number Seven between August and December 2016. The accommodation exists as a self contained annex within my home, and part of the joy of designing bespoke lodging from the ground up is the freedom it gives you on focusing on it's prime purpose and then adding some desirable extras. The main room is 5 meters in length, the combination of lashings of natural light and well chosen fittings lending it a light and spacious feel. We added amenities we thought you would enjoy, such as 48" HD smart TV with all your catch up favourites, youtube and a selection of free movies that pivots for comfortable viewing be that from bed or seating area, USB charging sockets, soundproofing, thermal insulation, a fully equipped kitchen and an independent heating system meaning you can set the perfect temperature you enjoy be that for relaxing or sleep. I am not someone who believes rental accommodation should be laminate floors and melamine wardrobes, so you will find some very pleasant furnishings and fittings, a welcome king size bed with quality mattress and cotton rich bedding, tactile fabrics and floorings of tile, real slate and the finest Westex pure wool carpet. I am particularly proud of the lighting design - we placed all the main lights on dimmers and combined them with lamps and light features while adding a colour scheme and fittings that allow for the interplay of light leading to some lovely options for setting a homely mood for you to enjoy - we really do encourage you to have a good old play with your fun options. We even installed a Hollywood mirror, so no excuses for not looking and feeling your most glamorous on a night out :-) We provide breakfast on the first night of your stay with us, so if you are just with us briefly on leisure or business then you don't need to worry about gathering supplies for the morning, no matter what time you check in you know you can spend your evening relaxing knowing it's always nice waking up to a treat as breakfast is included. Tea, coffee and cooking condiments are also supplied along with towels and toiletries. We hope you enjoy our offering.
    Two minutes walk from your accommodation you can choose either Princes Avenue or Newland Avenue with a myriad of independent bars, restaurants and retailers covering anything from Thai Fusion to Moroccan, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Fish and Jamaican through to Modern English. In summer it is THE place for alfresco drinking and dining. Pearson Park is opposite the house. Your access to the accommodation is via private road, which means it is both quiet, and offers excellent vehicle security.

    A newly built country lodge, set on a quiet estate in the village of Dunswell, just 20 minutes from Hull City Centre, or 10 minutes from Beverley. The property has an open plan living space with fully kitted kitchen, a double bedroom and a second bedroom with a bunk bed - ideal for two children. Outside there is ample car parking space, and a patio area directly off the living space. The estate is at the bottom of a quiet village lane making this a safe and peaceful place to stay.
    The lodge is a high specification cabin, and fitted out to a high standard. Sited in July 17, it is in perfect condition. The modern open plan living space consists of kitchen, dining table with seating for four a and comfortable sofa and television. The kitchen is well equipped and contains an oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. It is fully set with everything you need to cook and eat meals, just as you would at home. The bathroom includes both a bath and separate corner shower. WiFi is also freely available. Code L2PE45Z7Y43AF. Don't expect too much of the internet speed though please, as we are in a rural location. Also, pets are welcome but we kindly request a supplement of £10 towards the cleaning costs Brand new beds and bedding mean you will have a comfortable sleep, especially as the area is so quiet. Towels also provided. The lodge is part of a residential estate, that sits adjacent to the River Hull. Walks along the river bank are a pleasant way to spend some time.
    The site is in the village of Dunswell, which is half way between the picturesque market town of Beverley and the 2017 City of Culture, Hull. In the village is a Chinese restaurant and takeaway, a petrol station with convenience shop that is open until late, and a lovely country pub/motel that serves meals everyday. Buses run regularly from the village to Hull and Beverley.

  • Just come back from a 7 night stay , the cabin is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans and even a slow cooker making cooking meals a lot more easier , the cabin was clean and comfortable and in a peaceful location, not having to let the host know you’re exact arrival time is exactly what we need as we travel some distance and this can cause some issues especially if stuck in traffic , will definitely be back next year .

    A beautiful apartment with excellent service. Don't take our word for it: read our reviews and book this stylish apartment in the heart of Hull's vibrant old town. -Secure parking -WiFi -Netflix -Bathrobe & slippers -Toiletries -Pillow menu -Fruit -Bottled water -Nespresso coffee
    The apartment includes: Entrance Hall with umbrellas Bathroom with walk-in shower, washstand, separate toilet and underfloor heating. Towels and toiletries are provided. Living Room with 42" television (free Netflix) and a large dining table that doubles as an ideal work desk having a table lamp and four electrical sockets a standard cord length away. There are two sofas, one of which opens out into a pretty decent double bed. Kitchen area open to the Living Room with oven, induction hob, extraction hood, washing machine, fridge, filter kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine. Tea, coffee and bottled still and sparkling water are provided throughout your stay. We believe that the most important thing we can offer is a good night's sleep. So we've put the biggest bed we can in the bedroom. There is a European king sized bed (10cm wider than a standard king size), a choice of pillows, large wardrobe, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, Ruark bluetooth radio and alarm clock, 32" television, electric fan, bathrobe and slippers.
    The apartment is perfectly situated in the oldest part of Hull between the shops, pubs and restaurants of the Old Town on one side and the lively marina and Fruit Market district on the other. Mere yards away is the 17th century grammar school. Now a museum, it was attended by Andrew Marvell, metaphysical poet, and William Wilberforce, slavery abolitionist. The grammar school looks out onto Holy Trinity, said to be the largest parish church in England and is a fine example of 15th century ecclesiastical architecture. It is also the venue for many interesting events from music recitals and concerts to the annual beer festival. The immediate area abounds with bars and restaurants and the market is just across Trinity Square.
  • Wonderful apartment in central location, yet amazingly quiet! Lots of thoughtful touches and a beautifully comfortable bed and nice linen which is very important. It felt Tony had put lots of thought in to this apartment. We had a lovely relaxing stay and enjoyed being in the middle of the old town with lovely restaurants and bars. Secure parking was bonus. Fast responses to communications with Tony. We would definitely like to stay again as this is one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

    Located in the historic town of Hedon, this beautiful grade 2 listed cottage has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated. The cottage is centrally located in Hedon and is walking to distance to local pubs, resteraunts, cafes, shops and other local amenities The property boasts a fitted wood burner for those cozy nights in, central heating, fitted kitchen with integrated washer, fridge, hob and oven, new bathroom and 2 double bedrooms, the main has an exposed brick chimney breast.
    Guests can expect a warm cosy comfortable house, with fresh linen, clean towels, tea and coffee making facilities. The property has free wifi and TV for entertainment. This house would be great for as a bolt hole when visiting family and friends, holiday makers/walkers, contractors working at Saltend or even families that are awaiting house moves with delays in completing.
    Hedon is a friendly town and has several charming cafes (Nutmegs is excellent), resteraunts Kolize(great steak) and Zaika, numerous pubs such as Kingshead, Queens head, Station, Shakespeare, Haven Arms, Kingstown and even a micro pub called Hed'on Inn. There are a handful of takeaways catering for Indian, Chinese, fish and chips and Italian tastes all in walking distance.

  • We needed a place to stay last minute. Gail was very welcoming and offered us full use of the kitchen, comfy living room bathroom/shower. As I was staying with my young daughter who was tired from the travelling she was happy to watch the tv provided in the room. The house is spotlessly clean. The room good size, everything we needed. Comfy bed. Would have been happy staying longer. My daughter keeps asking if we can stay again next time we visit the area. She also made a friends with the dog, who is really cute!

  • A cosy warm attic room, with a lounge area, this feels like being a student again in a share house. It's a multicultural area, very close to the city centre, so ideal for getting to the transport interchange or getting food in the evening. Andrew offers his kitchen too, so if you were staying a few days, you could self cater without feeling you were imposing. He is very sociable and makes you feel at home. One thing to note is the wooden floors mean sound does travel upstairs to the attic, so you can hear doors closing etc so if you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs. Exceptionally good value for money, this is what AirBnB should be.... an invitation into a welcoming home, with a kind, friendly, easy going host.

  • We had a lovely stay at Terri’s accommodation. Her place was very comfortable and equipped for a long-term stay. The new oven and stovetop were great and super quick. The street was quite and an easy few minutes walk to the bus stop, a post office and few local shops. We walked easily to Tesco, Aldi and Lidl supermarkets, which were 1-1.5km away. Terri was a very welcoming host who was prompt at all times and she was always very friendly, before and during our stay. We will be staying again!

    Large modern double bedroom with King Size bed ideally located near Hull Royal Infirmary, KCom Stadium and the City Centre. Hull train station is about 15 minutes walk. There is a convenience shop (One Stop Shop) righ next to the house with plenty of fresh food and other essentials.
    Please note that communal areas like the hallway or kitchen are currently being redecorated so some parts of the house can look a bit worn out or like they need repair. There is no dust or dirt, just not the same standard as the bedroom right now hence the bargain price for the room! There is a small dog in the house who is still young and can get very excited about visitors. The dog will bark when guests come in or out. If you are a dog lover, you will love her as she is super adorable.

    Just off the main A63 road into Hull and a mile from the City Centre, 114 Coltman St is one of Hull’s most historic townhouses, featured on BBC2’s Restoration Home. Converted back into a grand town house from 5 derelict flats, the house offers comfortable rooms with ensuite facilities. Including breakfast (Eggs, toast, cereal, fruit juice, hot drinks) in the guest kitchen. Guests have the option of using the guest kitchen to cook evening meals though there are several takeaways nearby
    The Twin Room is one of our four guest rooms and offers both a single and a king sized bed, as well as WiFi, ensuite shower & WC, TV and room fridge. Guests also have the use of a lounge and guest kitchen, as well as the gym, sauna & games room, with a pool table and darts
    We are close to the town centre, have plenty of parking though off road parking will only fit medium and small cars, as the entrance to the car park was designed in 1850 for a horse and carriage

Very warm welcome and I appreciated there were the basics to have a late night snack and access to the well stocked guests' kitchen opposite my room. Owner shared the fascinating history of the building and the development work they had put into it . Room has a quirky layout to be expected and enjoyed in a historic house. Much more interesting than the Premier Inn box. Comfortable bed, good shower and peaceful. Heater provided if I got cold. Parked right outside on the street. Excellent value for money . Would stay again. Sorry I could not stay longer.

  • Me, my partner and my dog loved the place. Was a little hard at first to find but host was happy to help. Very clean, bright and cosy. Private spaces with great cooking facilities and utilities. Toiletries are available also clean towels. Really Comfy bed as well as two more spare beds in the other room to use if needed. Nice open space with a pool table which was a bonus, the french doors in the room also leads out to a small garden area which was loverly. The main reason we booked this place was because it was dog friendly which is great for us travelling with a dog. The communication with the host was fast also they we’re very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was very easy gave us the keys and should us around and asked if we needed anything such as milk, towel for dog etc... electric gates easy to get in and out of and secure spot. Parking spaces available, really nice and quite. Overall really enjoyable, would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Boasting high ceilings and wooden floors, the entirely private property is equipped with everything you may need for your stay. Whether you are here on holiday, visiting nearby friends or family, or in the area for business, this 150-year-old converted Victorian studio offers the ideal base to spend your days in Hull.
    Lounge/Kitchen Open plan, wooden flooring, high ceilings, two windows, integrated kitchen appliances including a hob, fridge, kettle and microwave. Light wood furniture, sofa, a fold out table and chairs and mounted heater. There's also a modern, comfortable sofa bed which offers another sleeping option. Great also for guests who would prefer not to climb stairs. An additional chair bed pulls out into a single bed for higher occupancy bookings or families. Bedroom Mezzanine area has wooden flooring, a king-sized bed, bedside table, lamp and large wardrobe. Shower Room Partially tiled with white suite comprising:- panelled bath with electric shower over bath, pedestal wash hand basin, low level wc, vinyl floor covering and flush style door. We provide guests with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash and other essential toiletries. We supply bath towels and hand towels to all guests.
    Hull’s Old Town is a hidden treasure where you will discover Hull’s collection of free museums including Streetlife Museum of Transport and Hull and East Riding Museum of Archaeology. It is also home to Hepworth Arcade where Mr Marks and Mr Spencer had one of their first penny bazaars. There is also a strong link between Hull Old Town and the English Civil War with the alleged plotting parlour a stone's throw away at Ye Olde White Harte. Just around the corner from the studio you can also find the world’s smallest window at the George Hotel.

    The Cabin is a well insulated wooden clad building. It is ituated in a quiet countryside location just over a mile from Saltend Chemicals Park yet you will feel it is a world away. Fully self contained with cooking facilities for you to cook or just have a local takeaway. The Cabin can accommodate up to 2 people, one in the double bed and one in the metal framed sofa bed. £25 per night for one person, £35 per night for two people. Weekly & monthly rates negotiable.
    Studio style accommodation includes double bed room, lounge/kitchen area with sofa bed, TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle etc; double bedroom area with wardrobe; shower room with toilet.   • This is up there with one of the best places I've stayed through Airbnb. not only due to the fact that Tony is a great host but the place. there is no noise pollution, no light pollution and you sleep so well. and in a setting that makes you think your in the wilderness and it includes wildlife from time to time. great stay, five stars all round.

  • Communication was Tony was very good. He was also willing to accommodate our request to make more use of the garden. Cabin was lovely and warm and spacious. Ammenities were of high quality with good heating and kitchen and shower room facilities. Location is wonderfully quiet and cabin has a type of balcony which was nice to sit out on and enjoy the garden and some wildlife. Area was lovely and quiet. Tony had good local knowledge and knew all the local attractions. We recommend his cabin which is great value for money.

  • lovely clean . tranquil setting . tony is a very nice person. made me feel welcome. the place is very clean and comfortable. tea , coffee , milk , biscuits was waiting for me when i arrived in the room . a very thoughtful touch on behalf of tony. he kept in touch with me through out the week , to see if i was comfortable and if i needed anything. i felt very safe and it was nice to sit outside on the sheltered decking and enjoy the lovely countryside lodge. the shower room was very clean and New. will definitely be staying again next time I am in Hull

  • This is the perfect place if you want to be independent and have your privacy. The room is nice and airy, quite big and light, and also warm during winter. It's clean and smells nicely. There was a kettle, mugs and teaspoons, culterly and a few dishes provided along with some tea, sugar, coffee and cereals. Shampoo, soap and shower gels were also provided. The bathroom was clean and all things considered I think it's a great place and definitely one I'd happily go back to.

  • Great clean room: big enough for two with an en-suite, television and extra seat in the room. Wardrobe provided. Kettle provided with tea, sugar and mugs. Breakfast provided via those small cereal boxes you can get along with some cutlery and dishes/bowls - must provide your own milk but there are shops nearby. The bed was giant (although my girlfriend and I are hobbit sized). Only issue was that we couldn’t figure out how control the radiator in our room, but that might be our fault rather than the hosts. Great location: in the middle of Princes Avenue with easy access to the bars and restaurants down there, or a 10/15 minute walk to Newland Avenue. Overall, awesome value for money, great location and a nice, spacious and, clean room. A+

  • My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Halsham House. We arrived to a roaring fire and a cosy, beautifully decorated suite. The bed was comfortable and the shower piping hot. We ordered breakfast, which was tasty and arrived well presented in a little wicker hamper. We felt thoroughly spoilt. It has been a really pleasant stay and we look forward to returning soon.

  • What an absolute gem! From the setting itself which is so pretty and well maintained to entering into the apartment we were thrilled. We couldn't believe that we had so much space for the price. And not only that we were also able to take our little dog with us as well. It is really quirky with beautiful old tapestries and period furniture and we were welcomed into the living area with a blazing coal fire. The living area has a fridge and microwave which is very convenient for longer stays as you can really snug up in this beautiful retreat. The bedroom is a comfortable size and the bed was sumptuous. The bathroom had piping hot water which was plentiful for a nice relaxing bath. Christopher bought breakfast in the morning in an old fashioned hamper with fresh coffee which was like a little breakfast treasure chest :) all served on fine china with fine cutlery. There is a kettle with lots of complimentary tea and coffee (instant and ground). We were only staying for one night and it was in the early evening that we decided we wanted to return and booked our return visit straight away, taking advantage of the three for two nights offer which makes it a very reasonable and enjoyable getaway. Having never been to the area before, we were pleasantly surprised of what the area has to offer and took full advantage of beautiful beach walks, fish and chip supper and a visit to the nature reserve at Spurn Point. We would fully recomment this property and Christopher's kind hospitality and can't wait for our longer stay at the end of the month.

The cottage was a little bit chilly because it’s winter, but as soon as the fire is roaring, it’s perfect and cosy! The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome.   • Excellent place to stay in Hull! I stayed there for a month, and I could just say good things about Jermaine. The house is nice, in a good and quiet area which is 20 minutes by bus to the center of the town. The room is small, but the furniture is really tasteful and there is a lot of space to keep your things and clothes. I would stay there again. I highly recommend it :)
