This was one of the best places I have been to. The cabin is small, tiny, cosy, lovely, clean. Everything you could need is in there: watercooker, fridge, possibility to Cook, Müsli, tea, coffee...elsebeth prepares you a pleasant stay With all the Informations you need. It was just perfect.

Elsebeth was a wonderful host to us and we loved staying in this little "gnome home." It is indeed charming, with all the decorations and amenities Elsebeth has outfitted it with -- and it is small, kind of gives one the opportunity to know what it would be like to live in a tiny house. :) We enjoyed this as the way everything is arranged is very smart. The location was ideal for us - you ride the train out of Oslo for a bit and then it's a 5 minute walk to Elsebeth's place. This is nice because you get to see more of Oslo than just the downtown area. Plus the location is incredibly beautiful, peaceful and totally quiet. The view of Oslo is wonderful. We met Elsebeth once during our stay, but were in contact with her daily. She was very responsive to our requests and questions - and even made us reservations at a spa close by, which was wonderful after our long journey (and just prior to that ongoing wedding celebrations :) We give Elsebeth and her charming small "gnome home" our highest recommendations!

Elsebeth's cute cabin was absolutely gorgeous and she made us feel right at home and after this being the first air bnb that myself and my partner had used, we weren't disappointed. Everything that we saw previously when choosing the place was exactly the same in real life, if not better. The location is perfect we are out of the way of the hustle and bustle but with absolutely stunning views of Oslo, and then a quick trip down on the metro to the city. We will definitely be coming back perfect way to spend a cosy winter break like we did.

We were three days in this beautifully situated lodge. The first view after getting off the Metro was worth the trip - Man has a great view over the whole of Oslo. These views can then also every morning, enjoy up after from the apartment. In the apartment or cottage itself we felt right at home here. To welcome cookies were ready. The apartment has with his voice means a great charm, the fresh flowers do the rest to do so. We were welcomed by everyone we met neighbors with a joyful smile. Also had the good fortune to meet Elsbeth itself. It is in live just as friendly and helpful as you in advance when mailing. All in all, made a great experience with Elsbeth and abrasion.

Elsebeth was very gentle nice host. House that was built in 1850 it feels like being in a fairy tale world. If you share in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), etc., it was wanted everyone jealous. The history is very beautiful maintenance even, it was comfortable. Located in the middle of the mountain, view was the best. The room I was also easy to spend very functional and. We had such a great time staying at Mona's. Her house is near the city center and you will find everything you need in a 5 minutes walk. The bedroom is really comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, the rooms are clean and most of all, Mona and her daughter are absolutely lovely, they will make you feel at home. Mona Johanne was the best host ever, she gave us really useful advice. We definitely would come back if we could.

I was delighted to meet and stay in Mona's house. She was very welcoming and a very pleasant person along with her daughter. We had the greatest time at Kåre and Truls' place. I honestly can't imagine staying elsewhere when in Oslo. It made our trip so much more interesting. It was a great experience to be able to jump in the fjord and wake up with the beauty of the water right upon us. It was also extremely convenient to downtown Oslo - just a 12 to 15 minute bus ride. We enjoyed meeting Kåre as well. He was an excellent host. Unfortunately we did not meet Truls (but we were out exploring a lot). Hopefully next time because we will certainly be staying here again.

This cottage is absolutely incredible! It is one of the most beautiful settings with adorable decor, while being so close to Oslo city. Honestly, we felt like we were in a dream the whole time we were there. They are the nicest hosts, and know we will remember this amazing experience of being able to stay in this cottage forever.

It really was an amazing experience sunrise on the banks of the fjord, it was not necessary comfort resign luckily since Oslo is well connected and this is no exception. The house is in perfect condition maintenance, everything works ok. Would recommend and hope to return soon. The hosts have helped us at all and we are very grateful.

Extraordinary place, extraordinary hosts. If you think paradise must to have palm trees and sand beach - you'll change your mind when you'll get to Kåre & Truls place... We highly recommend this place to everyone. And be ready to cope with only one problem about it... longing when you left it... Five stars for Kåre & Truls and their place is not enough .

Kåre and Truls were incredible hosts - they were very nice and super helpful during our stay. Their cottage is just as amazing as shown in the pictures and the location on the fjord can't be beat! Upon leaving, all of us starting thinking about when we could return - I can't recommend highly enough!

Gung and Martin are perfect hosts. They have a wonderful family. They are very friendly and have great advice of where to go and what to see in Oslo. The room was great. It even had a little balcony. I was not the only guest as new guests were coming and going in my 4 nights there, but all of were treated as though we were the only guests. The apartment is situated only one metro stop from the train station. The neighborhood is really vibrant. There are great local restaurants, a fantastic fresh fruit/vegetable market, and lots of little shops. This is where people live, not touristy at all.

The host proved to be both professional and kind, everything was neat and well prepared, communication before and during the stay was all great. She provides us with tips and she's also an interesting character. Highly recommended host!

Gung and Martin is a very nice, spacious and interested couples to live with. I can recommend them warmly. We stayed in a lovely large room, very central.

We arranged this Airbnb quite late and I got an immediate response. The hosts were very easy to reach and the central location was great for us as we were in Oslo for a layover. We arrived very late, which wasn't a problem. The hosts were very welcoming. The room, however, wasn't very cosy and a bit small. Fine for one day, but in my opinion not ideal for a longer stay in Oslo.

Nice, central location. The bikes were a really nice perk and easy to use. The hosts were nice, although we were out exploring the city most of the time and didn't see them much. Would stay here again for sure.

Olaf was a wonderful host, and his apartment couldn't have been in a better location. He made a point of meeting us when we arrived and even left a few recommendations and treats for us. One of the coffee shops he pointed out to us turned out to have the best coffee we've ever tasted in Europe. This was our first time in Norway, and Olaf really helped make the experience a good one. We would definitely stay with him again.

We had a lovely stay at Olaf's apartment. It looks just like the photos and it is very close to the centre of the city. The tram leaves right in front of the apartment and the neighborhood Is great to walk around and have some food or even shop a little bit. The apartment is very clean and cosy with the fireplace. We had a wonderful time in Oslo and Nicole’s apartment is a perfect, cute and comfortable. It offers everything you need and it is close to the main highlights of the city. Nicole made sure someone (her grandmother) was able to meet us even though we arrived very late (early!) which we really appreciated. The apartment was just as described and suited us well (family of 4). The location was brilliant, very close to central station and the amazing opera house. Nicole helped us with a problem with the wifi which we also greatly appreciated as we were relying on it for money transfers and other information. We loved the roof terrace, we went there to eat our dinner a couple of times. Oslo was a fantastic city to visit.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Nicole's place for a few nights just before Christmas as we wanted to see Oslo and this was a great place to stay to achieve that. The apartment is incredibly central with less than 5 minutes casual walk to the central station. The apartment was as described and virtually the same as the photos which is always nice. Nicole met us on arrival and discussed the essentials but wasn't overbearing or anything and simple said we could contact her if we had any further questions which is nice when you've just flown in and want to relax! Overall I would certainly stay here again. Thanks!

We've had an incredible nice day with Elisabeth and Thomas! A perfect way to get connected in the great surroundings. Very thoughtful and hospitable host.

What can I say? Amazing location, amazing hosts and an amazing stay. The cabin was very cozy and extremely clean. The beds were soft and we all slept soundly. The view from the cabin was spectactular and my kids just loved the stay.

The hosts were absolutly wonderful! They are generous, helpfull and informative. We got to taste fresh milk from the cows and cuddle the sheep and chat whenever we met around the area. They had even put coffee and water in the brewer ready for us to only press the on button! "Ingeborgstua" is a small old house close to the farm's main house. The cabin was fully equiped with both all you need in a kitchen and basic foods like spices, coffee, sugar and even baking soda! In winter time the cabin can be cold, so we had to keep the fire burning at all times. The night was a little cold without the fire, so we asked for an extra blanket for the second night. Then it was fine. There is no water in the cabin, but there is a really nice bathroom with shower and a room where you can do the dishes 10 meters from the cabin. There was water in a large water container inside the cabin. Going to the bathroom was no problem, but it was a little hazzel having to bring the dishes up and down. Cross country ski tracks were only a 10 minutes drive away, and we had the mountains all to ourselves. Bring cash! It' s 50 NOK to park the car and use the ski tracks. All in all a wonderful weekend. 3 hours drive from Oslo and some queue both Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Try to avoid the most busy hours.

We arrived on a much delayed plane and did not arrive until midnight, still the host greeted us with a warm smile and showed us to our cottage. It was like waking up in heaven the next morning, the comforting sounds of the sheep, clucking chickens, cattle russling, and birds chirping. All in all very peaceful and quiet. Elisabeth invited us for breakfast and conversation, what a delight! This is Norway at it's best. Very clean cottage, great bed, beautiful large bathroom and a lovely setting. "Perfect for those that value a country experience". You need good directions or GPS for finding this place but well worth it. My travel partner is a farmer and was able to tour the barn, tractors and enjoy the farm.

Wonderful stay! Ingeborg sitting room is authentic, nostalgic and beautiful gammon. Outstanding service from all the garden, better service and hospitable heit can simply not find! And the views are truly wonderful up here superbly. Warmly recommended!

We booked the lodge from Thursday - Sunday in March. We got good information in advance of stay. Driving directions voiced good and GPS in the car made its way fine (Paulsrudveien - western Gausdal). We were greeted by Thomas and he showed us the cottage which already had fire in the fireplace and was good and hot. It was shoveled a parking 10m from the cottage. Marcus (1.5 years) helped Thomas in the barn every day and loved it! We were running tractor several times, it was very stately. We were partly driven to the top of the toboggan run with the tractor to sow sled down again. The toboggan run is 1km long and is used annually to Paulsrud Grand Prix! We borrowed various sleds that went fast and fight fort. The cottage was incredibly charming and we did not miss the TV one time. Our stay was enjoyable and educational for the whole family. We probably will return. The stay can be recommended to anyone who wants to decouple from a hectic schedule in great Norwegian nature. The stay can provide great insight into the everyday life of a dairy farmer, if this is of interest. The family is incredibly hospitable and we were invited in for coffee on several occasions, very nice! The cows in the barn has been the talk since we got home. Thank you for having us! We have had the most wonderful days in Elisabeth and Thomas cabin. The cabin is very cosy and contains every thing that we needed. The bathroom and toilet to the cabin was warm and nice and Elisabeth very service-minded. We tried dog-sleigh-ride arranged by Elisabeth, wich was an extraordinary experience. As first-timers with Airbnb, we were dazzled by John and Hilde. If we had to chose a word, it would be "perfect". The flat is as pictured on the photos, luminous, cozy. John and Hilde were so sweet to us, gave us the best advice on what to see in Oslo, where to eat or have a nice time out at night. They had the kindness to print it out for us too. The flat is really central and almost next to everything (15mn max) - very handy when you want to discover the city by foot. Definitely the place to go when visiting Oslo.

Hilde and Richard were nice hosts and we spend a nice evening in the large living room. All in all a fair offer.

John Richard and Hilde are wonderful hosts with a wonderful property that they've gone to great lengths to make welcoming and well-appointed for their guests. The flat is on a private street, with a park within steps of their front door. Guests have robust WiFi access, and the hosts are a wealth of local knowledge (I particularly encourage you get recommendations for local restaurants and night life). I will definitely be dropping a line next time I'm planning to be in Oslo. Highly recommended.

I had a great stay here! Hilde was a very welcoming and helpful host and provided lots of ideas of things to see in and around Oslo. The apartment is very spacious, clean and quiet.

John and Hilde were AMAZING hosts! Not only is their flat in a great location, but they were so helpful our entire stay. The first thing we did was sit down with a big map, and they showed us how to get everywhere we wanted to go (and were also willing to offer suggestions where we needed them). The room was very comfortable and clean, and they even made us coffee in the morning! They truly went above and beyond our entire visit, and always treated us as their guests. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Oslo!

Christian's apartment is in a great location just minutes from historic sights and a short walk from the centre of the city. As a gated apartment complex it was peaceful and the flat itself was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. It was such a pleasure staying at Kare and Truls ! The house is beautiful and its situation on the fjord + view amazing, the suite they offer is big, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated and most of all Kare and Truls are really friendly and warm hosts ! My boyfriend and I started our trip in Norway there and were more than satisfied by our choice. To sum up, this place has everything you can be expecting for a perfect stay in Oslo.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to meet Kare and Truls; however, their presence was certainly felt in the many personal touches left for us to make us feel welcome and comfortable in their charming, beautiful home. The location was fabulous as it was only a short bus ride from central Oslo, and very easy access from the bus stop. The views off of the balcony are absolutely to die for! If we ever return to Oslo we will definitely stay with them again, and will forever recommend friends and family to do the same!

This place is basically a jewel. Its such a nice place and Kåre & Truls are such nice people, we were glad to stay at that place. They gave us good sightseeing tips as well. Really a special place, especially during the summer place.

Our 2 nights at the cabin were truly memorable, surrounded by beautiful nature, culture and people. We were blessed with great weather during our stay too which made it possible for morning coffee out in the morning sun; listening to birds, bees and silence in between. Without electricity in the cabin, we were able to log off and connect with real time and people around us. We had a great night at Monica's cabin for our last night in Norway. Monica was very helpful and brought us some coal for the bbq. Exploring the woods around the cabin was great too.

This was such a sweet experience for our little family (two adults, two small children). From Monica's daughter guiding us to the cottage on her bike to all the candles lighting up all the rooms (there are tons of candles), games in the cupboard, the big bonfire we built outside, and even the outhouse, with lots of extra wood in the shed beside it. We also did a good amount of hiking in the woods around it, which is really magical. The perfect rustic Norwegian experience. Tips: There is a cooktop stove you can use to heat water, utensils to cook with, and they provide a large container of water to use with a basin for basic washing up, etc. The best priced and closes groceries are at the Rema 1000 store in Eidsvoll.

We had a great time at the cabin. It's situated in the beautiful woods, a very private and tranquil setting!!! The cabin is beautiful and cosy although small. I would say it's more suitable for a small family like us, a couple with 2 children. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They showed us around, gave us clean towels, blankets and plenty candles and matches. They gave us good advices about places to visit and even showed us around the town. We kept ourselves warm with the fireplace, which made our stay even more special. We would recommend to hire a car for the location of the cabin. We managed to cook simple meals with the small 2 plate stove. And had a shower at the nearby petrol station paid shower, which was very clean and decent. So I can say it's possible to survive without electricity and running water for a short while. We loved to meet our hosts. They did everything possible to make our stay unforgettable! We loved Norway and found the Norwegian people the most friendly European people we ever met. Thank you for everything!

A very cosy candlelit cabin! We had 5 of us staying here and had a lot of fun walking, drinking tea, playing games and cuddling up by the fire. We didn't see a moose but maybe next time. Also the Jazz radio station was a hit to help us along with the washing up! Thank you Monica for your hospitality - you were so helpful driving us around and were very thoughtful and caring. Overall, a wonderfully rustic stay in a cabin in the woods.

Our evening at The cabin In The Wood was very Nice!!! We spend a good moment between The Walk on The Wood to search some animals, then we cooked some patatoes In barbecue then The nigh was perfect Alone In nature!! Lover of nature Will love it!!! And for The cabin is very very beautifull!! And Monica is very Nice and awarm and welcome!! Nothing miss In The cabin for hour confort!! There is no electricity but there is lot of light and candel and blanket!! We recomande this host!!

This is for the person who wants to experience an authentic Norwegian holiday! The cabin was super cozy and comfortable while being as Norwegian as a Norwegian cottage can be! Monica took excellent care of us. She answered immediately to any questions or requests we had. You could see that she really cared about us and our stay. 5/5 stars!

This was our first airbnb experience and it was a good one. Preben was a very gracious host. He shared information about the area, gThe ave good directions, and made us feel welcomed. The accomodations were as described, cozy and comfortable. It was easy to negotiate our site seeing from the apartment. We would not hesitate to come back again.

Preben was an excellent host, and he gave us great recommendations for walks, sightseeing, and nightlife. The apartment is lovely and its location is just a short walk from the city center - all in all a perfect home base for exploring Oslo. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely apartment near the Park Inn hotel with bakery, sports shop, lift and ski rental. We easily found at the apartment, which is really well furnished with everything needed for a mountain holiday, including sauna and fireplace. The first day we took transport slope to lift about 15 minutes, but the following days, we bore instead skis 200 meters to the lift at the hotel. Returns can drive right to the door. Tom Ivar was quick to answer questions along the way. Remember snow chains! On departure from the cottage, it was snowing, and the chains were needed to come up from the bottom of the road.

Thanks Tom Ivar for fine week in Trysil / Fageråsen! We liked the spacious and fresh apartment. Location was great, close to the lifts and Park Inn Mountain Resort. During our stay there was a lot of snow but it was no problem as the staff came and shoveled, luxurious! We will happily return.

Thank you very much for your help before and during our stay! It was really appreciated! We had a great time. The apartment is really nice, especially the sauna and wood fire! It would be easier for guests if there were sheets and blankets but I understand. The location is nice, really close to the ski domain but a bit far from the supermarket. Even though there are free buses, they don't run very often so it's best to go there by car. A good accommodation for most.

Very good location of the apartment and practical solution. The apartment is equipped with what you need. Put on your skis outside the door. We will gladly return.

Although we only stayed one night, we loved staying at Rosela's place. The location is great, especially if you like walking, and the apartment is wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

We needed a place to spend a night in Oslo between flights and asked Rosela if her apartment was available. The communication and booking were very fast. Rosela also gave us precise directions on how to reach the apartment. The apartment is a walking distance from Oslo Sentrum railway station. The room is very cosy and warm with its own fridge and wifi. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful people. Our stay was only one night long, but a very pleasant one. Would definitely recommend Rosela's place to anyone visiting Norway's capital.

Pictures and location of the house are very accurate. Rosela and her husband are friendly as well. I can't ask for more for this house. Although the room is small, it was very cozy! I would highly recommend this place!

Rosela's place was as advertised with the cozy space that worked well for my group of three; the place was clean, easy to access to city transit and Oslo S. No complaints with the accommodations. We were here during a public holiday, and Rosela and her family treated us like family.

Ingrid and Morten were fantastic hosts during our short stay in Oslo. The room was clean and perfect. The bed was comfortable and towels and other toiletries were left incase we had forgotten them. We enjoyed a nice long conversation over tea learning about Norwegian culture and sharing traveling stories and experiences. I would highly recommend these great people. We had a very short but sweet stay in Oslo! Ingrid was really welcoming and friendly, offering tips and being a great host. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom has heated floors, which is always a bonus. The location of the apartment is perfect if you want to wander to all parts of the city and has a lot of great amenities close by. We stayed on a Saturday but went to bed quite early so it was a bit loud but that is what happens if you go to bed early on a Saturday night! Definitely would happily stay there again and see lovely Oslo again.

We had a great stay at Ingrind and Morten's! Everything is reachable with ease and the room is just what you need to have to relax after a long touristy day. Great hosts, great place, anytime again.

I quite like this lovely room and (URL HIDDEN) and Moberg were hospitality.We talked a lot.They were willing to give me help to discover the city.I cannot ignore to mention about the heated floor in the restroom,that was fantastic!And the location is good,easy to get to any corner of the city .What a pity I found it until the second time I been there!Also there are couples of supermarket nearby. .

My wife, son and I stayed at Sasja's flat. It was very convenient to transportation and other activities. Sasja was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. I would defiantly stay there again if I was in Oslo.

I treated our children to Sasja's place when they were coming out of a four day hut to hut wilderness trip and needed a good nights sleep and a shower before the airport. Sasja was highly communicative, warm and friendly. When they arrived, they emailed me that the place was really lovely and they were thrilled. Sasja also let me know they had arrived, which I really appreciated. Great host and place - highly recommended.

Great apartment across from a lovely park. The location in Grunerløkka was wonderful. Christoffer greeted us warmly and the recommendations for things to do and restaurants was very helpful. Wish we had another night in Oslo!
