Wonderful peaceful and quiet retreat in the hills of Malibu. Despite the fact that David and Ling are not in town they try everything to help us accommodate. The apartment itself is great for two. Everything there that you need. You need a car because it is up the hills, but we managed to get an uber as well. The only downside is that you hear the adjacent apartment. But Ling and David are working on a solution. In summary I think it is a wonderful place and I would go there again.

What a beautiful place to stay, we were pretty much in awe the entire time! The view is impeccable and it truly doesn't matter the weather or time of day, you either feel like you're floating in the clouds or flying above the land below. You can see the ocean in the distance and little cars coming up the hills. The drive is only about 5-10 minutes up but was so awe-striking and pleasant each time we did it. The home itself is beautiful designed and very clean. We felt very at home making meals for ourselves and enjoying time outside on the patio, or around the home in the gardens. We also juiced oranges from the property and had an insanely coloured (and delicious) blood orange juice. This place is truly a gem, it was amazing to stay here!

This is a magical retreat from the city....views are amazing and the pictures accurately show this home! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Malibu but as we headed up the canyon road...we affectionately said, "ready to get back to our retreat!" The views of the Pacific Ocean and well as the mountains make sipping coffee in the morning a ritual that we enjoyed even more. The hosts had everything we could possibly need...definitely will come back!!!!

The place is lovely, photos don't do it justice! The view is something truly awe inspiring, and the garden is prettier than in the photos. If you love to drive (we do), love nature and prefer clean, modern, elegant spaces, you will enjoy the Malibu Hideaway.

I could write a very long text praising Ling and Davids Malibu house. But to make it short it is likely the most wonderful place I have ever stayed. I would recommend everyone to stay there. It is simply absolutely fantastic inside as well as outside. Here life is luxury.

George and Thea's place is in a great place. It is in a quiet residential area but not far from fun and adventure in Venice and LA. The place is clean and comfortable and I would gladly stay again.

Everything we thought it would be. Super adorable place in an amazing location. The skylights were our favorite part...nothing better than fresh air when you sleep! The home was quiet and very clean. We walked and biked everywhere while there. If you stay at the Sweetest Cottage make sure you eat at Poke-Poke and Hama sushi! Will definitely recommend this place to friends.

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely time in the cottage of Thea and George. This place is really quiet and cute and also very clean and full of light. The area is just perfect near Abbot Kinney and Venice i would totally recommend this place for a lovely trip in LA. Few drinks and food for breakfast was provided for us and also two cool bicycle so we could hang around in venice and Santa Monica. Also a great dog was around the house which is very fun.

While my friend and I were only in LA for one night, Colette's place was a great spot for us to stay. The flat was very cute and clean and more spacious than the pictures even showed. It was also nice to have a designated parking space. Communication with the hosts was fantastic and they were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic space, super clean, modern and attractive. It is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, a close drive to great areas for eating, shopping, etc. Additionally, Mary is a kind and responsive host.

Mary's guesthouse was very nice. It was clean & kind of felt like a hotel because of the white sheets. Perfect choice Mary! My only problem was that the house was made of glass, it was scary at night but that's how most of the house are in California & we got use to it eventually. The towel & the wash cloth seemed dusty but we went out & bought some from the 99 cent store. We hardly say Mary which was fine for me but she was always available via text if you needed her. Overall I had a great experience in Santa Monica & at Mary guesthouse. I will visit again because those few problems was not a big issue to us. So Thank You Mary for having us.

This place is AMAZING! It looks just like the pictures but better because the views are incredible. Plenty of comfort between the awesome outdoor lounge area, pillows and comfy blankets. The perfect 'Glamping' spot! Its quiet and very private. I highly suggest sleeping in the 'Moon Room' that is (URL HIDDEN) was extraordinary to wake up from time to time and look at the stars above. Lydia and Dean are great hosts and very accommodating in every way. They were easy to get along with and we never felt like the Glampsite was crowded or lacked privacy. We definitely recommend the Canyon Cafe for dinner one night. Its also very close to the beaches of Malibu and all the little quirky art shops and stores of Topanga Canyon. Important Things to know: 1. There is a tiny fridge that we were welcome to use, but if you're going to be there for more than a few days and want to bring a lot of food, I suggest bringing a cooler. 2. There is no flushing toilet. It was a very clean and environmentally friendly "outhouse toilet". I loved every bit of the experience and the "outhouse" was not an issue at all. 3. The outdoor shower is easy to use and had instant warm water, but you're slightly exposed while showering so go with people you're comfortable with. 4. Minimal wifi and cell service. If you can't live without either, try to live a little or find another place to stay. I loved being disconnected for a few days :-) Overall, our whole experience was lovely and relaxing. We definitely want to come back in the future!

How do I begin... What an incredible place in the canyon! Lydia and Dean have a very special spot and we feel so lucky to have gotten to spend an evening there. They are both very kind and friendly and their eco charm was very welcomed. They have everything you need, just ask. There are lots of different areas to relax and re-balance, which we took advance of. There's a hiking trail right behind the house that allows you to look both north and south across the canyon. We will be back, thank you so much!

Lydia is one of the coolest women I've ever met. She was very welcoming, and also very inspiring. She shared her story a bit with us and not only did I have a great experience but I left so motivated and inspired. The pictures don't do this place justice. It's honestly something you have to go see for yourself and experience. This is def. going to be a place I run to when I need to get away, clear my head, be at peace, and remember the beauty of life.

My stay at Lydia's place was truly amazing. The view is breathtaking, there are great hiking trails around, the bed in the trailer was so comfortable! You can hear the coyotes at night, and wake up to birds chirping at your windows ! It's just like a little paradise right outside of LA. the WIFI is pretty fast too, for all you tech people ;). Lydia and her family are such nice people ! You will love your stay there !

What can I say!? This place has such a special feel, we fell in love with it instantly. So much so, we wanted to come back again the following week. All hand crafted by Lydia, our host. An incredible woman, and so kind and welcoming. We felt instantly at ease. The trailer, facilities and outdoor space is really beautiful. The views are amazing too. I can't recommend this place enough...if rustic, outdoor living is your thing then you will love it here. ...even if it isn't, then go and experience it! Wow! what an amazing few days we had at Silver Sky Acres. We absolutely loved it. Lydia and Dean are great hosts and it is very special to see how they are just building their outside living dream here. We had great nights around the campfire, watching the stars. We had the best nights of sleep in the trailer. The nights were cold, but we had more than enough blankets and duvets to keep us warm. And it is s(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) quiet at night.....and than waking up with the amazing panorama sunrise view from the bed, just perfect! We went for hikes in the surrounding hills. Took a breathtaking sunset horseride and explored the beaches close to Topanga. For sure we will be back!!!

Lydia was a great host and provided us with everything we needed. Expect to rough it a little, this is a camper in the mountains with an out-house bathroom. We had two campers and ample (multiple) spaces to hangout. The fire pit was lit on our arrival. Lydia was very friendly and helpful. The view and environment is so beautiful and wild - a great place to escape the city and be in the mountains - glamping style!

Mathias' place is great. Warm, cozy, great views, and a bit adventurous too. The neighborhood is super quiet, near Hollywood attractions and a few cool places to eat. He was very communicative, always at our disposal. We definitely recommend this Mathias' apartment!

Beautiful modern and stylish hideaway in the Hollywood hills with a view that is nothing short of spiritual

Mathias was waiting for me to arrive and helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs (there are many, as he warns!). He was very nice and gave a great introduction to the guest house and features. Mathias also invited me to dinner and was available my entire stay if I had questions or needed help with anything. The unit is exactly as pictured and is extremely comfortable. It also feels very safe tucked up at the top of one of the hill streets. The view is wonderful and it's a very relaxing place. I took advantage of the location and hiked to the Hollywood sign. It was exactly what I was looking for - a nice relaxing getaway, embodying the charm of Hollywood Hills exactly. Mathias takes great care in maintaining the unit and ensuring it is clean and comfortable. It was fantastic!

This is your place. Uniquely LA guest house (great views, outdoor shower, design-minded decor). I am a maniac about cleanliness and this place cleared my bar. Mathias could not be warmer or more flexible. I arrived very late and he was so gracious. I was also a woman, traveling alone, and felt very safe. This place makes you feel like you're living like a local--just much better than you could actually afford.

Great Experience from checkin to check out. Very efficient. The room was spacious enough for two with its own private bathroom. No kitchen but Troys next door is delicious and cheap. Stephen guided me through check in and was very cordial. We communicated over the phone. They checked in with us to make sure everything was ok from time to time. Great stay. Highly recommend and the room was immaculate!!!. A+++++++!

The hosts were very nice, approachable, and accommodating. It was a little hot when we got there and I was able to text them to turn on the ac, no problem! It has all the basic necessities that you need such as: microwave, mini fridge, towels and etc.

Great experience here...everything was as pictured; our stay was comfortable and convenient. The location just can't be beat and the price is beyond a steal. This was just what I needed for coming into town and knocking out my interview...if you're working on a budget I definitely recommend you stay here.

Stayed here with my boyfriend his daughter and my nephew it was a pleasant stay. Room was large and extremely nice. The pull out couch was perfect for the kids to sleep on there was plenty of parking out in front. Location was perfect not too far from universal and just a few minutes from freeways. Nice and quiet safe atmosphere i would definitely recommend this place for the price and accommodations we received i would stay here again. If i had to pick one con it would be that there is no AC just a fan and it was pretty warm all day but if your use to weather like that then you will be fine. We adjusted to it and were comfortable (we already knew there was no AC when we booked) so all in all i would recommend staying here also Sofi's mom was so sweet in greeting us.

So this was my first Airbnb experience, and I must say it was a great one! I booked last minute relatively late at night on a Tuesday and Sofi was still very accommodating. She gave specific instruction on how I could gain entry and was so helpful overall! The space was extremely clean and cozy. Great size bed, tv, storage room and couch to relax on. There's a small kitchen which I didn't use but it would be more than enough for someone to use. The bathroom was great and the shower was perfect. Really nice quiet area with not much going on and very easily accessible to the nearby freeway. Parking was not an issue as I stayed two nights also. I definitely recommend this space to anyone and everyone who's looking for the comfort of an at home feel. Thank you Sofi! -Nick

This cozy studio apartment was the perfect home base for our trip to Glendale. It is located in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood with plenty of on street parking. The apartment's efficient kitchen area contains a stove and full size refrigerator, which allowed us to conveniently make breakfast. Other meals could have been prepared, if we chose to do so. We would definitely like to stay here again, if available.

Being first time Airbnb users this was a wonderful first experience. Check in and out was super simple. And the space was perfect for our needs while visiting in LA!

Super cute studio. We actually got to stay in the one bed room guest house as well since they had to make some updates to the studio while we were there, which was great too. The guest house is a little more updated and has AC(which we didn't need). The studio has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. Bed is comfy as well. Parking is easy even on Sunday night late and Monday day. It's very close drive to downtown Glendale. Sofi's mom was super nice and check in and out. Very easy to deal with. The studio was super private.

The neighborhood was nice and quiet, in a good area of LA. It is located behind their house which is also attached to their garage, so you must keep that in mind when booking. It did feel private, as I was staying here alone, but if I was with someone else I don't think that it would feel like enough privacy.

Greatly enjoyed staying at Paul's Arbnb. Paul made it easy to stay, communicated frequently before arriving. The place has a super comfortable bed. Easy walk to everything I needed in town. Hope to stay again sometime!

Quiet and safe neighborhood in Eagle Rock. Pleeeeenty of parking as its all houses with driveways in this area. Check in is easy, he just shows you the loft and gives you the keys and let's you do your thing. He's available to answer any questions within the hour. There are papers in the room with tips on where to eat which I liked! Overall he's just a very generous and easy going dude and it reflects in the space we stayed in.

We loved our stay! We had records to play, Hulu and Netflix if you're staying in, and it was a very quiet area. Paul was welcoming and the check in was simple. We were looking for a quick stay in LA and it was perfect. Thanks Paul! I recommend :-)

Stayed at the Wild Honey Loft for one night. Was exactly how it was described. Paul has a huge collection of cool records, books and tea! The place also has a big, Hi-def smart TV complete with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The bathroom fits one person at best, but it's clean and functional. Tons of towels and a laundry hamper/ ironing board and closet. Paul is a great person too! Accommodated our early arrival! Would recommend this place to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wild Honey Loft. It's well-suited for a solo traveler or couple planning a short stay. Paul was very good about arranging an early check-in and easy check-out. The location is quiet and peaceful at night, but there are several quality coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is no kitchen in the loft, but there is a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as cups, bowls, etc. I would definitely recommend The Wild Honey Loft to anyone looking for accommodations in northeast LA.

this place is great for adding a little luxury to a stay in LA. pool/jacuzzi use is delightful - bearing in mind its available 11am-4pm, although we were lucky enough that one of the evenings they offered us a night time dip, which was spectacular! mini kitchen definitely does the job with a fridge, freezer double electric hob and microwave, just no oven, and in a small back room. the main area is absolutely stunning!! 100% the comfiest bed we have ever slept in! views to die for. bathroom full of pampering and luxury. get yourself a bottle of bubbly to enjoy with your partner in the tub!! we got woken up by a leaf blower at 8am on a monday, which normally wouldn't be an issue but as we were a little jet lagged it was noticeable, but aside from that, very pleasant stay! would 100% stay again, those views are insane! and the place makes you feel like a king!

The Park House was exactly what we were looking for! Totally cute, clean, had everything we needed and just a quick walk from York. Ted's an awesome host and the house provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. The patio is great and perfect for a warm LA night. The design of the house is very cool and the individual touches like the light fixtures and custom shelving in the living room make The Park House stand out amongst other options. All of the details, towels, shampoo, soaps, washer/dryer, Brita filter etc. really add to the feeling of being "at home" and it was easy to relax there. I walked to yoga at Namaste, coffee at Cafe De Leche, record shopping at Permanent and had a rental car so quickly drove over to Glendale for Whole Foods. I would definitely stay again and would easily recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Prior to arrival, Ted's assistant reached out to do an in-person welcome. Very nice. The neighborhood is low-key and great. Good beer, pizza and taco trucks are a short walk away. Dedicated parking is a huge plus. Consistent, reliable wi-fi. Highland Park can get *very* hot in the summer so beware.

Ted's place was the perfect place to work remotely for a week. I think the best part was being able to sit outside in the sunshine on the beautiful private patio out back. The house is only a short walk away from a bunch of great restaurants and a short drive away from a ton more. The neighborhood is quiet, and the space is even better than it looks in the photos. Ted himself was kind and helpful. I would happily stay here again and would urge anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to relax to do the same.

The Park House is beautiful ! Wonderful ambience and great little house to live in. It truly felt like home. The payio was awesome at night & super private. It was stocked with basic cooking essentials, coffee , and snacks. The town its in a super cute hipster-y town with great restaurants and a cool bar within walking distance. 15/30 min from Hollywood and downtown depending on traffic. Guilanna answered questions as soon as I texted her during our stay and was pleasant to communicate with.

This house was very clean and cozy. My family were so happy with all in this house. The location was also great. Glendale mall is very close so you can walk to the mall. The host was very kind and responded to my questions very quickly. I am willing to recommend this house to my friends who want to visit LA.

Thank you aradi for providing a wonderful place for us to stay. There was both aircon and heater for the users to adjust accordingly (very appreciative about that as the weather was really cold at night) . Sufficient towels were provided for for the total number of pax and number of days. Aradi was really helpful and efficient in assisting us in getting an early check in. All in all enjoyed my stay and will recommend this place. Only possible improvements are 1) toilet door to close more easily 2) double mattress for the makeshift mattress. Very good place.

This place was great! It was very small but very private as well. The only downside was that the bathroom was shared. The room was very nice and clean!

Perfect stay!

Its silly to complain about this since it is now legal to smoke in California, but this home reeked of marijuana. It was a decent sized room. The bathroom that I shared with someone else was horribly dirty and unkept. Hair was in the shower as well as other things. I felt safe. But the house itself felt third-worldish.
