  • Was clean, very nice place to stay. If I could choose again I'd choose same. 😊 Snooker is a great idea!! When we arrived we got home made scones, jam & butter. Tom and his lady were very nice and helpful as well. Thanks again and all the best in the future ! 😊

  • Michael's place was very well located for my work trip, near enough to central Limerick, but far enough away to be pleasantly rural. It's a good size for a family or a group of friends. I didn't have time to use the gym or the snooker table but they'd be great if you did. Tom who let us in was very friendly and helpful even though we arrived very late due to the weather, and his wife's homemade scones are excellent as has been mentioned in other reviews.

    Nic2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Micheals house is a great place for everybody who wants to spend time in the lovely nature of Ireland around Limerick but you definitely need a rental car. The house has great equipment and also the price is more than fair for the space you get! I would definitely recommend the house to my friends!

  • Awesome home. We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip across the pond. Loved the view, the location and it was so nice to have a big kitchen for our family to make our own meals.

  • A lovely apartment, with very helpful and friendly hosts.

    Mary2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment that Adrian & Elaine built together is both beautiful and homely. We could not get over the amazing location and spent a lot if time walking around Clare Glen's Forest, which is right next door, and taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. The apartment was incredibly clean, Andrian met us at the door to help us check in and answered any questions we had. If you are looking for a great get away from a busy city while also being relatively close to Limerick, then look no further.

My cottage s a 250 year old house in the country...very close to village and 15 minute drive from city. The house is on half acre of garden. It has three bedrooms....two with hand basins ...one double bedded room and two singles. There are two sitting rooms . The bathroom has new shower. The house has just been painted and new flooring put in. The house has been kept as original as possible...it is a very cozy welcoming place to stay.
  • Sally is amazing! I remember when I saw her for the first time and she was so happy to see me. It looked like we were great friends seeing each other after a long time. She is much more than I could expect. I have no words to describe how happy I am to have met Sally. Every detail, every time she asked me if I needed anything and every time I could enjoy Sally’s company, touched my heart. The house is incredible, its history is fantastic (Fantástico)! The surrounding is lovely and very good for a walk. Perfect experience, great moments and I know that I made a friend. Thank you, Sally. You are fantastic (Fantástica)! Sky is going to miss you too!

    Nathalia2019-04-27T00:00:00Z

Grecian revival regency period house on an island on river Shannon, accessible by car over bridge. The island comprises 9 acres of garden and woodland. The house is in a charming village, featuring traditional pubs and riverside walks. The room has a bathroom en suite and has access to a private conservatory with direct access to the garden. There is an adjoining room with bunk beds which is suitable for children. There is a fridge and coffee maker in the room.
  • Luxurious is an understatement here. The quality of bed linen and towels was incredible, and the bed was so comfortable! Brian and Ann are great hosts, you can tell they've thought of all the little things; tea and (good) coffee, spare toiletries, extra towels, space heaters. You will not be disappointed when you stay here. It has everything you need!

    Sean2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful residence for one night. Brian was an excellent host and showed us around the whole house. You can feel the history in every room, and it's beautifully maintained with original features. The bedroom with adjoining conservatory is delightfully decorated, and the bed really is so comfortable! The attention to detail such as the fine china and crystal glassware provided, made us feel we were staying in a five star manor hotel. There is a small fridge which was stocked with thoughtful provisions, an Nespresso machine, and a selection of teas & biscuits. There is the ruin of a medieval monastery on the grounds near the residence dating back to the 13th century which is strategically lit up at night, and added to the historical charm of this house. We had a lovely dinner in a pub/restaurant called Charcos, which is a short 5 minute walk away, and the service there was faultless. Brian provided great tips & recommendations from the moment we booked and I would have no hesitation in recommending Brian & his beautiful home to anyone.

    Jackie2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Brian and Ann are fantastic host with a great place! They definitely made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, definitely recommend!

    Nick2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The Island house is a very unusual and special place in a quite unique location. The grounds of the house are magnificent and if the weather is kind will provide so many more opportunities for your stay. The room itself is very much self contained with well stocked adjoining bathroom and a mini conservatory as a sitting area. A lack of television was not a problem for us but it is as well to be aware of that. Brian provided useful information about the surrounding area and places to eat and was a very accommodating host.

    Dave2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely stay! Honestly, the picture don't do it justice! The bed was amazingly comfortable, everything was spotless, and the property it just amazing to walk around. I also want to note that we traveled with our two year son and he DELIGHTED by having his own little room and all the toys that he was able to play with. Such a small touch, but his happiness meant the world to us and made us all feel so welcome on our last night in Ireland. Thank you!

    Kelli2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • I picked Brian’s home because of the location of being on the river and it did not disappoint! A very beautiful, peaceful setting. The rooms were lovely. Bed was nice and comfy. We especially liked having the little refrigerator so we could keep our water there to chill it. I didn’t read through the list of amenities and missed they didn’t provide a breakfast, but it was fine. They had a bowl with clementines and one other that I can’t remember the name, along with 2 biscuits, 2 candy bars, yogurt and juice in the frig, and lots of tea choices and coffee. It was fine for a light breakfast.

    Ronnie2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Brian and Anne’s place was absolutely beautiful. The location and home were equally amazing. It is a little hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone for a gorgeous stay.

    Abby2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Brian and his wife are great hosts. They warmly welcomed my daughter and me and showed us their entire estate. Our room with bath had no reason to complain. There was a small coffee machine, as well as a kettle and tea. In the fridge Brian had provided us drinks and yogurt. We were especially happy about the fresh strawberries

  • We went to Ireland as a family of 4 and had a great stay at this property. The place is 15 minutes away from the highway and in a country side road and has a beautiful mountain view from the living room. Plenty of movies to watch for Adult and Kids. Everything we needed was in the house with couple of exception like a Dryer and Coffee maker. It was not a big deal and we enjoyed our stay at Kathryn's place.

  • Lovely large room spotlessly clean and warm and Marie could not have done more for me. It was a lovely stay and a lovely full Irish breakfast to set me up for the day. Have no problem recommending this to anybody. Eamonn

  • This is a warm and welcoming place. Ideally located near the lakes. The place is actually better than the description on Air B&B.

  • Marie was a wonderful host when I stayed in Tipperary! When I arrived she set me up with absolutely everything I needed, including a cup of tea. Breakfast the next morning was delicious (a real Full Irish!) and I was so content and full that I didn't need to eat again until late that night for dinner. Thanks for hosting me, if I ever come back to Tipperary I'll be sure to stay here again!
