Cosy cottage with amazing views of the Galtees

My place is a five minute drive to Kilshane House Hotel for wedding guests. Beautiful walks nearby my Cottage here. I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. You’ll love my place because of the stove, the comfy bed, the kitchen, the cosiness, the high ceilings and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and families

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Its only a 20 minute drive to Limerick City and close to Clare Glens and Glenstal Abbey. The perfect place to chill out or it can be a home away from home for those working and travelling with a dedicated work station and good internet. A car is recommended but there is a good bus service that operates from Limerick City to Cashel about 6 times a day - the 332.

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle
