Set in one of the most elevated positions in the beautiful Malvern Hills with panoramic views and direct private access to the celebrated walking spots. Elgar taught music here and played the organ in the adjoining Holywell Chapel!
Luxury Malvern accommodation set in one of the most elevated positions in the beautiful Malvern Hills with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The Studio is part of Holywell Chapel's grounds which adjoin the Malvern Hills Conservators land, accessed via a private gate directly to the bridleway, cycle and footpath networks. Heading south you will reach the Iron Age British Camp hillfort, and North takes you to the Wyche Cutting and onto Great Malvern. Also, conveniently situated a short distance from the Great Malvern town centre and Theatre, the Three Counties Showground and Ledbury. Architect designed and constructed in 2013, the Studio offers a haven of tranquility for visitors. There are two bedrooms, one with King Size bed, the other with twin beds. One bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer.
A few hundred metres from the Holywell Spring, the area is steeped in history and has a really magical feeling. Our favourite pub, the Chase is a 25 minute walk the other side of the hill or there is the Wyche 15 minutes away. Come and enjoy!
  • We sat there and watched the clouds roll by from up high. Perfect. First trip with our 8 week old twins. Knew we wouldn't get out much, so this place was perfect.

  • Amazing views of the Malvern Hills. There were 4 adults and one 5 month year old and space was fine. A travel cot was provided for us although a high chair was not available. A few basic items were provided in the food cupboards. Overall a beautiful apartment with stunning views.

  • We had a lovely stay at the studio. The space was perfect. Location was perfect. We were looking for a space where we could just sit and enjoy a beautiful location and that was exactly what we got. The walk up into the hills is equally beautiful and worth doing. It’s the perfect space to sit back and relax. We had a lovely stay. Thank you

  • Cannot express enough how happy we were with The Studio! It made for the perfect weekend away with my boyfriend & the dog. The most amazing views from inside & even in February we could have the door open & enjoy the views from the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning as you are sheltered from any wind & rain. Scenic walking trails right on your doorstep and SO many walks to be done, we could have walked all day! No need to drive as you are literally ON the side of the Malvern Hills. Really cannot thank Paddy enough for answering all my questions & the quick responses. Also for the restaurant recommendations - we went to The Inn at Welland for dinner - SPECTACULAR food! And then the Cottage in the Wood for a Sunday Roast and again, amazing food but also insanely good views! We are already planning on booking again! Thanks Paddy ☺️

  • The Small Arts cottage was perfect for a weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding area is beautiful and Mark is super helpful and provides a lot of information on what to do in the surrounding areas. Only surprise was the lack of indoor sink which made the dishes become a lil challenge outside in the cold, but that doesn’t take away from the cosy comfortable stay that the cottage provides. Being able to see the stars from where you are sleeping is a huge plus and shouldn’t be missed.

The HotTub Hideaway is a perfect romantic retreat. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide magnificent views over the countryside and is very private. The Hideaway is pet friendly and has secure fencing. If you are having a night in, why not turn the Smart TV round, connect the speaker and watch TV whilst chilling in the hot tub ❤️❤️. Let me know if you are booking for more than one night as we offer good discounts for multiple night stays.
The space is ideal for a private romantic getaway in beautiful Herefordshire. The bedroom windows open fully and lead directly onto the decking. & hot tub. There will be cutlery and crockery available if you choose to bring your own food or have a takeaway delivered. Both the main room and wet room have thermostated underfloor heating.

Are you looking for a cosy retreat for two? You may have found what you are looking for …. tucked away at the end of a no-through road in the rural heart of the three counties you will find our shepherd’s hut placed at the centre of Farm Life.
Our Shepherd's hut is situated within a newly planted English Woodland, at the centre of farm life. During the day you will hear the bustle of farm life; animals being fed, lambing, calving, tractors scraping up or harvesting. At night you will be enveloped by a huge sky and hear the hooting of Barn and Little Owls and the odd moo or baa as the animals settle down for the night. While at the centre of farm life you will experience a great sense of remoteness and peace at being far away from the world. Our Shepherd's Hut Hideaway arrived at Nash End Farm on 3rd October 2013 having been newly crafted in Worcestershire by Riverside Shepherd's Huts. A fusion of Victorian charm and contemporary luxury, your hut contains everything you need for a relaxing break away: a full size double bed, central heating, hot and cold running water, shower, flushing WC, a fully equipped fitted kitchen ready for you to do some serious cooking, plenty of storage for all of your things, all within the hut. There's no need to venture outside until you're ready to take on the day. Please enquire about bringing children and we are no longer taking bookings with dogs. Please also look at our other lisitings on airbnb. Our Iglu Hut is a beautiful aspen clad space with a Scandinavian feel. It's a very similar space to the Shepherd's Hut and I a confident that you will love it just as much. During the warmer months with also offer camping at Eldersfield Tipis also listed on air bnb.
It's remoteness. Although you feel far away from the world, we are central to the three counties and within a 20/30 minute drive of a range of towns, cities and tourist attractions including, the Malverns, the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and the county towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.
  • Such a beautiful little hut in the middle of nowhere! Stunning scenery and the perfect escape!

    Ri2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Nash End Farm was the peaceful break we both needed. A cosy and warm shepherd's hut that felt like the perfect place to wait out storm Dennis. Rosalind was super accommodating and even picked us up from Gloucester station which was really great as we don't drive. The farm was lovely and all the animals were super friendly. Rosalind also let us know when the lambs were being fed and invited us to join. Overall a fantastic stay and we would love to see the place in the summer.

    Cat2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely place! If you’re thinking of staying in the area this is the spot for you! So warm and cosy, perfect size, amazing location, lovely dogs! Rosalind was so helpful and really friendly. Really good value - can’t wait to go back. Digger the dog is a local legend!

    Will2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and picturesque farm. We had a lovely time and are very grateful for such cozy and warm (in every sense) place to come home to in the height of English winter. The dogs welcomed us every time we returned to the farm and even guided us to the hut at various times. The Shepherd’s hut is the perfect size and it’s full working kitchen allowed us cook for ourselves after our daily excursions! Thank you again for the perfect place for a much needed getaway.

    Devangi2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • It was so lovely to stay for a few days! When we first arrived we struggled to find the house (our inability to read the directions!) but were met by a lovely doggy who help us find the way and was always available for a bit of affection. The hut itself is amazing, beautifully clean and surprisingly more spacious than you’d think. My partner and I especially enjoyed the game of scrabble provided. While there’s not much to do in the immediate area, it’s not far to drive to amenities, we drove into Gloucester to have a bit of an explore. It’s a really great place to stay, thank you so much for having us!

    Elise2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little space - privacy but owners nearby if you need anything. Beautiful walks and country side on the doorstep.

It’s a lovely room and large separate bathroom, beautifully and stylishly decorated. The location is ideal. A good location just a few minutes drive from Great Malvern and the Malvern Hills. Marion and her husband provided a warm welcome and plenty of provisions for breakfast including fresh bread, milk, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit juice and cereals. Communications were all prompt and check in all fine. The day we left was during 'storm Ciara' a day of high winds and heavy rain and Marion offered us to check out later if it suited us - this was much appreciated so we could start our journey when the worst of the weather had passed. The Dairy and its two lodges were close to the farmhouse with ample parking and we were invited to walk along the paths around the farm. The only slight negative was the Lodges look out on to the courtyard/car port, with only a view of the fields to the side. But it as a lovely stay and we would go again and recommend to others.

  • The Lodge is beautiful. It is surrounded by stunning views and the lodge itself is spacious, cosy and has lots of amenities to make sure all guests are comfortable. Marion is a great host who is kind and replies quickly. Thank you for a great stay :)

  • Great base for a stay near the Malvern hills. Only a short drive into Great Malvern and was very close to a number of locations to take in a walk of the Malvern Hills. Lodge had everything we needed to keep us feeling at home for the few days we spent here. Breakfast supplies were also a great touch! Would happily stay here again!

  • What a wonderful little find!! The granary ticks all the boxes if you’re after a relaxing few days . When you enter the property, You immediately feel like you have the hideaway you have always been looking for, Everything was perfect from the decor to the well equipped kitchen. It is so cosy in the evening that we we’re happy to stay in, on our second night we ventured out to Ledbury and had a fantastic meal in the olive tree restaurant, recommended by mark who was also very helpful recommending other places to see and do, oh and thanks for the map!! Will definitely be re-booking Thanks for having us Liam & Louise

  • We had a wonderful time staying over Christmas as a couple with our dog. The cottage was beautiful with many thoughtful touches: festive treats on the table, a couple of lamps on as we were expected after dark, shampoo & conditioner in the shower. A helpful guidebook suggested pubs and walks, offered the WiFi code etc. The surroundings were stunning and lovely nature walks are right on the door step. Mark was a fantastic host. Assisting even on Christmas Day with a few unexpected and unavoidable situations - he did everything he could and solutions were found quickly and effortlessly. He was on hand for any advice and popped around to say hello/goodbye but also we had space to enjoy the private property that we booked. All in all it was wonderful and we’d definitely recommend :)

  • If you want a lovely stay near to the Malvern hills, the granary is where you should book, very homely and cosy. It’s nice and quiet, you can definitely relax here and be comfortable. We visited at the end of November so we were able to watch Christmas movies with the log burner going and a glass or baileys, we would recommend to family and friends and will be coming back to visit in the near future.

    Yemi2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is a lovely, warm and stylish space set on the edge of the village - great for just walking out into countryside and exploring the area. A local OS map and a file of local restaurants / amenities is perfect for making the most of your time. Mark was a generous and responsive host, getting back to us and doing what he could to meet our needs. We had a great weekend and would definitely stay again. Thanks Mark!

  • We absolutely loved our stay at Home Farm! Richard is a fabulous host and made us feel so welcome. Our room was really cosy, we had the most amazing cooked breakfast and we enjoyed eating dinner and having drinks with some of the other guests staying for the weekend. The perfect place to relax and unwind with stunning countryside views and two gorgeous fluffy cats and a dog to chill with too. Will be recommending to everyone and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for an amazing time x

    Maria2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • I booked at the absolute last minute and Richard bailed me out of a small logistical nightmare, what I needed was a room, what I got was a lovely room in a fantastic house, next to the wedding location with two wonderful hosts who I spent the night drinking and chewing the ear off of. Honestly the best hosts I've ever had the pleasure to stay with on AirBNB and I can't recommend them enough. I have no real reason to visit the area in the foreseeable future but I'll be making another reservation at some point just to do it all again. It's that good. Thanks for everything, Richard and Si. Rob (and Kate)

  • Very clean, beautiful room in a historical farmhouse. Top notch bathroom with the softest, thickest, best smelling towels you could wish for. • We had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay at Fleet Cottage. Jackie was such a lovely host, was responsive pre our arrival and full of advice re the local area. The cottage was spacious, yet cosy, with lots of nice touches, such as home baked flap jacks in the kitchen when we arrived. It’s set in a beautiful location- rolling countryside, it was a shame that it was a little too cold to use the garden or balcony. Would love to return in the Spring/Summer.

A perfect house for travelling with a pet; we brought our labrador and she was very happy in the house. Lots of room to spread out. Our host was incredibly helpful (we had to book this at the last minute because of the flooding in mid Feb 2020, and the confirmation and clear directions came very quickly).

  • This little chalet is the perfect place to be your base to go and explore the malvern Hills. It's deceptively spacious, with a kitchenette stocked with everything you could need, and a cosy bedroom. The log burner made our early spring stay toasty and my daughter loved having a fire. The chalet is lovely and clean, bathroom immaculate and would highly recommend. We were also provided with lovely eggs from the hosts happy hens, it's them little touches that make a stay perfect for me.

Would definitely stay again when we're visiting family in the area.

  • We had christmas at the little chalet in the malvern hills .. the chalet is next to myrtle cottage ..on christmas morning we found a red christmas stocking on our door with a bottle of orange mulled wine . Dog biscuits for our little snowy and a box of chocolates .. what a lovely surprise for us to find christmas morning .. it can take a few minutes longer for hot water. However I did not find it a problem.. the kitchen was very equipped. There was logs for us to light the fire ..the heating was on too but the log burner and christmas just made it extra cozy. The hens running around the garden was entertaining for our dog Haha.. the owners of the property are next door in myrtle cottage . They just check to see if you need anything and then they leave you alone .. I loved it there

    Scarlett2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my partner stayed for the weekend for valentines, it was absolutely lovely. A modern area with thoughtful touches. And a lovely touch that Caroline got us roses and a bottle of Prosecco. Prefect to cook meals also. Would definitely stay again.

    Amber2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline’s place was absolutely lovely. The place was very clean, stylish and had all the amenities needed. Caroline added a lovely basket with some items (including delicious cookies) which we loved! The bed was a great size! (Perfect for my 6,4 long boyfriend). And the shower was amazing! (Overhead shower, great water pressure and warmed pretty quickly). The location is remote and perfectly quiet and a short drive to all the sights in the area.

    Vinnie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Caroline's place. She was very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend!

A real gem of a getaway nestling at the foot of the Malvern Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) we have a light, bright, modern, and spotlessly clean 2 bedroom bungalow which provides guests with a great base from where they can explore all 3 counties, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. The property comes with ample secure off road parking its own private secluded garden and balcony offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding farmland and countryside.
Just to give you a teaser of whats nearby we have Eastnor Castle just a stones throw away, they hold a host of events throughout the year and provide the perfect backdrop for the Landrover Experience - if you're brave enough to give it a try! For something more sedate follow Edward Elgars route around the hills and visit locations which inspired his music. Take in a show at the renowned Malvern Theatre which attracts big names from stage and screen. Alternatively there is always something going on at The Three Counties Showground or down by the river at Upton-Upon-Severn with its various festivals, including Jazz, Blues and the Summer Water and Sunshine Festivals. Less than 30 mins drive away is the regency spa town of Cheltenham with it famous horse racing, fabulous shopping, cultural events and varied dining options. We like to think we have something for everyone right here in Wonderful Worcestershire.
We love where we live, rural but not remote. There are plenty of lovely little towns and cities within easy reach, each with their own unique attractions , Malvern with over 30 fresh water springs dotted around the hillside - where you can stop and fill up your water bottles for FREE and Ledbury with its characterful buildings and shops. Gloucester with its rejuvenated docks area and stunning cathedral the setting for scenes from Harry Potter. We have several interesting National Trust and English Heritage properties in the vicinity worthy of a day out.
  • Beautiful little cottage in amazing countryside. Hosts were fantastic and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable (even by dropping off the Racing Post on the morning of the Cheltenham festival to help us pick the winners 🐎)! Would highly recommend 😊

    Lauren2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful place in an area which has stunning countryside, many excellent and friendly pubs and within easy access to many day trips in the region. The beds were very comfortable, loads of natural light, beautiful setting. We will come back!

    Edith2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely bungalow in the beautiful countryside. Very spacious and clean with stunning views. Such a treat to have a wood burning stove with a constant supply of logs! Sara and Matt were so accommodating and friendly. We walked down the road to the pub for the afternoon and stayed longer then expected, Matt rang the pub to check we were there and insisted on picking us up when we were ready so we didn't have to walk back in the dark! All in all we had a fantastic stay and we would recommend it to anyone!

    Harriet2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Just exactly what it is described as, a beautiful stylist space with every facility you could want and no expense spared. Lovely friendly who was great when we needed her but left us alone unless we did. Thoroughly recommended!!!

  • What a wonderful stay! My wife, son and I had a really lovely relaxing break in this beautiful country property. The bungalow is so very cosy made even better with the log burner and a plentiful supply of logs. The hosts were attentive to each and every detail and we will definitely aim to return again in the future.

  • We loved staying in the barn for the weekend. Susan communicated with us very clearly regarding check in etc. She said she would provide us with bread, milk, cereals and fruit and when I said we are vegan she said no problem. She even provided vegan spread and cakes which was extremely thoughtful and very much appreciated. The barn is equipped with everything you might need from towels and hairdryer down to a hot water bottle - not that we needed it as we were warm as toast! The barn is really cosy and in a great location. It's quiet and peaceful but very close to local amenities. I've stayed in a few airbnb's in this area and this is definitely my favourite. We will be back.

    Justine2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is such an amazing little space that was perfect for me and my sausage dog Monty. It's a real gem of a place that is great for dog walkers and ramblers to the hills. I was really impressed with the touches (such as jars of condiments and some foodstuffs like oats) and thoughtfulness to the place. Susan went above and beyond when I could not get the microwave to work. She also checked in with me when I said I hadn't been too well for the first day or so of my 5 night stay. Well worth it.

    Becky2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Susan’s place is exactly as is in the pictures, very clean, cosy and has homely touches. Susan is so easy to get hold of and very responsive. The barn is great for couples to see Malvern or solo business people. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

    Phoebe2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Warm welcome, amazing hospitality from a wonderful lady who makes you fee like a friend not a stranger

    Sarah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Susan is great to communicate with to arrange the booking. There is plenty to choose from for breakfast. Heating is all electric plug in radiators so be sure to adjust the timers, especially if staying in winter. Also there is a microwave but no other cooker. For a weekend break this was fine for us. As Susan describes it the WiFi is “iffy” and mobile signal can be weak-perhaps the price to pay for a pretty location. The lockbox makes check in and out very easy. It was perfect for our weekend away.

    Victoria2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place wasn't as described, it was much nicer. Me and my partner were able to check-in early and checkout late, whilst communication was quick and efficient between us at all times. Upon arrival Susan greeted us both outside, directing us to the parking spaces, and giving us a brief overview of the place. The heating had been turned on prior to our arrival as it was a cold winter's day. The place was spotless, with a lot of nice extra touches, and milk, bread and other various snacks were in the fridge which saved us getting these bits. I definitely recommend staying here, especially as the local scenery is so wonderful.

    Andrew2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is perfect and you've gone above and beyond the job or a perfect host. It is LUSH to chill in and enjoy our time here. Thank you for the beautiful Christmas card, fresh fruit and milk and food. You are wonderful x

    Melanie2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and Susan was a fantastic host. The barn is cozy and well-stocked with teas, breakfast goods etc., nice and quiet at night but a short drive into Great Malvern or Ledbury. Highly recommended.

A lovely well decorated Apartment in the heart of Malvern. Ideal location for walking, theater or touring the area. 5 minutes walk to the heart of Malvern, and Malvern Priory with free parking it is suitable for both business and leisure trips to this beautiful area.
With a large bedroom and living area, this basement apartment is suitable for both working visits or up to four people visiting the area for a weekend break. The fully equipped kitchen means that if you don't want to take advantage of one of the many excellent cafes and restaurants in Malvern you can cater for yourself and spend a quiet night in with a film on Netflix.
The property is situated on a typical leafy Malvern Road and is an Edwardian building that would have been familiar to Sir Edward Elgar who lived in the town for many years. Directly opposite the entrance is the Manor Park Sports Club it is only a five minute walk form the town centre and the Great Malvern Train station.
  • This was a surprisingly large spacious apartment, conveniently placed for exploring the town and hills without needing to use the car. There was plenty of warm water for showering after a long day out walking and the apartment was comfortable to relax in during the evening,Netflix was an added bonus. WiFi was good and there was everything we needed to self cater for a few days. We booked very late and David responded quickly with clear directions and instructions for access. If you are interested in geocaching this is an excellent location for several days activities.

    Anne2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as advertised. Smart, clean and very handy for any visit to Malvern. You won't be disappointed.

  • Very nice, clean place in a lovely area with everything you need in the kitchen. David’s communication was very prompt and helpful. Apartment is minutes from the town and walking trails up into the hills.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come again when next we come to the Malvern Show. The flat was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom and living rooms were quite large. Very efficient gas central heating. Plenty of electrical sockets. Easy to park in the grounds of the house. We walked into Malvern, ( up a steep hill but down on the way back) and ate in Prezzo and Ask. Host very quick to respond to emails. He also emailed us to check all was well during our stay. Thank you.

  • I spent the weekend here with my partner and it is a lovely place to stay, nice and clean with everything you need for a home from home and a few minutes walk to town. Be prepared for a uphill walk, but at least you work up an appetite for dinner! I think you can safely say we will be back!

  • This is such a lovely place to stay. Susan is an excellent host. The breakfasts are great. The rooms very comfortable and secure. It can be hard to find at first, it's just behind the signposted kennels. The location is great for Upton on Severn and the Mendips, & easy to midlands or southwest Susan is a helpful engaging host

    Bob2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely farm home to share with Susan and her husband. They were super friendly and gave us some good tips about where to get a late night bite at the pubs close by. Super beautiful scenery and a gigantic English breakfast to boot! Delicious tea in the bedroom with fresh milk made everything even better :) Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to check out the beautiful English countryside with a car.

    Alia2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay, a bit off the track, but with a very warm welcome. We felt very much at home and slept very well. Was good to look out over the fields with horses from our bedroom window. The family's 3 dogs were lovely and friendly too. Susan makes an excellent breakfast too which kept us going all day. On arrival, follow sign for the cattery/kennel next door - it's the house after that at the end of a track! And take care especially at night to turn into the correct road as you may end up in a sea of sheep sleeping on the road on the common as we did late at night! Although close to a kennels, we could not hear the dogs at all. It was a very quiet place, and we both enjoyed our stay.

We used it as a base to explore the surrounding area. We would recommend Malvern as an interesting place to look around. We had a fantastic Indian meal in Anupam in Malvern. Pete2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Clare’s place, it really was lovely! We only stayed one night and wished we could stay longer but we hope to come back! It’s very clean, stylish, great location and beautiful views over the hills. It’s about 10 min drive to Great Malvern which is a lovely town and great places to walk in the area. The fresh eggs from Clare’s hens were delicious. Thanks so much.

    Hayley2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a delightful place to rest and refresh. It’s unbelievably clean and fresh with thoughtful, homely styling. The views towards the Malvern Hills across the cornfields are stunning which we made full use of by throwing open the windows with the Juliet balcony while we ate breakfast. Clare had kindly left us some fresh eggs laid by her hens and a box to take them home if we didn’t have chance to eat them - a really nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linen and we slept like logs. The bathroom was spotless with a great shower and great quality essential toiletries to use had we forgotten our own. Our one night stay was all to brief but we would not hesitate to return to ‘roost’ here for longer when we next visit Worcestershire. Thank you Clare.

    James2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the roost at windyridge was excellent. A lovely private, modern space with balcony views over crop fields to the Malvern hills. Clare was a great host welcoming us on arrival and supplying us with fresh eggs from her hens and milk. It is a perfect base for any couple looking to explore the area or walk the hills, we only stayed for one night but could have stayed for many more!

The Cabin is in the heart of the town of Malvern, a short walk from the town centre, yet  minutes away from the majestic hills. In a quiet part of the town, The Cabin sits in a  private and secluded area at the end of the owners garden, with it's own entrance and outside seating area. The Cabin has a 'super-king 'bed, but can be converted to twin beds on request. We welcome well behaved dogs, two small or one medium size, but ask that dogs are not left alone in The Cabin.
In a quiet backwater of Malvern, The Cabin is in a private and secluded area at the end of our garden, with it's own entrance and a small outside seating area/patio. It was built in 2018 to our own specifications, and comprises a main room, plus a mini-kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen includes a small table-top oven, microwave, toaster, mini- fridge, kettle and all cooking utensils. The bathroom has shower, wash basin and toilet. All bedding and towels are provided. It can be hired as a super-king bed, or two twin beds, just let us know when booking. Access is by a side entrance, with four steps up to the cabin up a gravelled, well lit pathway. Suitable for one or two people, The Cabin also welcomes two small or one medium size dog. No large dogs please. We would ask that dogs are not left alone in The Cabin. There are excellent dog walks just five minutes walk away from The Cabin. We have two small ones of our own and walk them there twice a day. The town centre, theatre, shops, cinema, Priory and railway station are just 10 minutes walk from The Cabin. We are 20 minutes drive from the cathedral city of Worcester, with it's world famous cricket ground (let us know if you are cricket fans) and 30 minutes away from Worcester Warriors Sixways Stadium (let us know if you are rugby fans!) We are 40 minutes away from Hereford, Gloucester and Cheltenham, including the Race-course. It's just 10 minutes drive to the Three Counties Show Ground and  only 20 minutes from the M5 and M50 motorways. By rail we are 2 1/2 hours from London and an hour from Birmingham. Whilst we cannot offer a taxi service, we are happy to offer lifts where possible. We have taken several of our guests onto the hills, and they walked back (they did ask us to!) The area is steeped in history. Sir Edward Elgar's BIrthplace is 20 minutes away, the world-famous Morgan Motor Factory just 10 minutes away, and Upton Upon Severn with it's blues, jazz and folk festivals is only 20 minutes from us. There are plentiful restaurants, take-aways and cafe's in Malvern, some of which we are happy to recommend. We are regular users of airbnb ourselves so think we know what our guests will be looking for. Please feel free to ask for more details.
We are in a very quiet part of the town with fields at the end of our road, ideal for dog walking, jogging etc. We have two Jack Russell dogs who are very friendly.
  • We stayed the weekend of a storm. Whilst it would of been nice to go on walking in the hills, we really enjoyed spending a lazy day on the cabin, watching Netflix and using the smart tv to catch up on programmes. It is so warm and cozy when you put the heater on and you have complete privacy. I felt instantly relaxed there. We went for a fantastic meal at the Mulberry Tree, which is nearby. Overall a great stay, 100% recommended! We are planning a return trip.

    Kerry2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was cosy, romantic and surprisingly private to say it it at the end of Amanda’s garden. The location was great as we were in walking distance of the village and the access to Malvern Hills walking routes. Great price for the accommodation too. We would definitely recommend this place and return ourselves xx

    Georgi2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • I have just spent four fantastic nights at the Cabin and was very sad to leave this morning. Mandi and Dave were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and genuinely friendly to the point that I looked forward to seeing them every day as I came and went on my travels. I loved my time walking the hills and exploring Great Malvern but equally enjoying returning to the Cabin each afternoon to relax and put my feet up. Cosy and warm, even in January, and a smart TV is always a bonus. Dave was even kind enough to drop me off at one end of the hills so I wasn't stuck walking nearby circulars. I hope to return one day and definitely won't be staying anywhere else, thanks again for everything!

    Andrew2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabin at Malvern is the perfect weekend getaway spot. We thought the cabin was charming, cosy and well-equipped. We loved staying here and hope to come back! It is perfectly situated and the thoughtful touches (such as the provision of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk) were appreciated! We will recommend this place to all our friends. Thanks so much!

  • Wonderfully equipped and comfortable accommodation. The iron & ironing board came in useful as we were attending a wedding. The cabin was warm and homely with plenty of privacy. Shower was warm and strong enough. Faultless hosting and very tolerant and understanding when we had a concern with our dog. Don't hesitate to book!

  • We had a great long weekend in the Old Forge with the dogs there. Super comfortable for our group of friends of 6 people. Wonderful walk through the Malvern hills 'Hollybush', went to an English pub in Ledburry and enjoyed the Jacuzzi. The communication with Claudia and her husband went super! We would all go back six, it was a shame that our kids were not there who had also enjoyed the nice large fenced garden and the area. Thanks for everything!

  • We had a fabulous stay! The house was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous surroundings. Even in the adverse weather conditions, Claudia kept in touch and made sure we had what we needed. Lovely touches in the house (cake and Prosecco) and good information about the local area. Thank you very much :)

  • We had a lovely stay thank you! It was the perfect setting for a group of friends to chill and make memories. Fantastic garden space. So clean and stylish. We will definitely be returning!

    Tamaryn2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great break at the old Forge. Claudia was a great host and was very responsive with her communications. Perfect if you want a country retreat - it was lovely and quiet and close to Cheltenham and Gloucester quays - where the kids were able to have a go at ice skating!! The garden was great and the kids loved the zip wire, the hot tub and the giant chess- we attempted to use the pizza oven but struggled to get the heat we needed to cook the pizzas and so ended up using the oven. I’m not sure if the wood was slightly damp we were trying to use. All in all it was fab and we would definitely stay again if we revisited the area. If you want to be close to walk to a pub or a local shop this location may be slightly too rural. We had a great time!!

    Natasha2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect getaway to relax and spend time with family and friends ...Claudia was a great host who was on hand with any questions ...the property had everything and more ...stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean...enclosed very large garden was a delight for our pet dog and the hot tub was enjoyed by us all especially our older children.

    Maria2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most wonderful stay in November. Communication and check in instructions were good, the place was fantastically equipped and extremely cosy! We enjoyed the games and outdoor activities such as giant chess, zipline, badminton (and of course the hot tub!) The thoughtful little touches left by Claudia for our arrival were the icing on the cake and we would return to stay again without a second thought!

    Katie2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great few days away in such a beautiful area made even better by the fantastic property we stayed in. Set in a beautiful location, we set out on beautiful walks around both Malvern Hills and cotswolds which were both only a short drive away. Packed full of all the utensils and appliances you'll need, extremely clean and even drawers full of games and activities to pass the night away. Have to mention the hottub which is the best way to wind down after a day walking around the countryside. We will definitely return to this fantastic property

The Malvern Hills are an area of biological and geological significance, which are known for their extreme beauty and abundance of natural spring water. The highest summit enjoys a fabulous panorama of the Severn Valley, the hills of Herefordshire, the Welsh mountains, parts of thirteen counties, the Bristol Channel, and the cathedrals of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester. The view of the Wye Valley and across the Severn Vale to the Cotswolds has been rated as one of the top views in England. There are some great tracks for cycling and walking right next to the site, but we also recommend a visit to the Forest of Dean or the Wye Valley, which include a whole host of other marvellous routes. For the more adventurous, take advantage of a variety of outdoor activities nearby including kayaking, climbing, horse riding, caving and fishing. For history lovers, there are a variety of historic sites in the area including Berkeley, Eastnor and the renowned Goodrich. The family-run Alexandra Park Resort includes a spa, golf course and gym, all situated in a beautiful meadow estate, which again can be easily accessed by car. Slightly further afield the lovely towns of Ledbury and Tewkesbury offer a variety of places to dine and a great selection of independent cafes and shops. These beautiful old-English towns are worth a visit just for the delightful architecture and ancient charm. Pubs. There are a number of lovely local pubs on the doorstep. Here are some of our favourites... The Farmers arms - great for a cheeky local pint and some pub grub, and perfect stumbling distance! http://www.farmersarmsbirtsmorton.co.uk/ The Duke of York - a short drive but offers a great variety of food. https://www.dukeofyorkberrow.co.uk For something a bit more special..... The Inn at Welland. http://www.theinnatwelland.co.uk/ The Butchers Arms at Eldersfield. https://www.thebutchersarms.net/ The Swan Inn at Hanley Swan. https://www.thehanleyswaninn.com/ There are a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes in Malvern, Ledbury and Tewkesbury. If you're after a quick bite there are a number of fast food outlets including Fish & chips, Indian and Chinese restaurants. Our suggested chippy is in Barnards Green, Malvern.....very yummy! Visits: For a 'must do' local activity we recommend a lovely stroll up British camp with a stop at the cafe next to the car park. Take in beautiful views with coffee and cake, or ice cream! • The most beautiful place to stay. So cosy, comfortable and a home away from home. The attention to detail that Lois and Rich have incorporated is lovely. The hosts were both unbelievably kind and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to visit again in the future.

    Katie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge is as good as it looks and then some. Clean, cosy and comfortable with excellent hosts who are easy to approach and quick to reply. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, absolutely stunning.

    Simon2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Myself & 3 girlfriends chose Lois & Rich's lodge for our "get away from it all" weekend and we couldnt fault a thing! The lodge is even more amazing in real life. Everything is well thought out, clean & comfortable. The hot tub....well what can we say we loved it! Getting it fired up & to the right temp certainly added to the fun & many hours were spent sipping bubbles & chatting. Lois & Rich were fantastic hosts, really helpful & friendly. Would 100% recommend this stay & also Eastnor Pottery where Jon gave us memories for life!

    Gemma2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay with amazing facilities. I booked this as a surprise 30th Birthday present to my Fiancee. The owners, Lois and Rich were very prompt at communicating with me and provided lots of ideas for things to do in the area. We loved spending the evenings in the hot tub watching the stars as well as making homemade pizza on the Kamado oven. Overall I would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back in the future.

    Edd2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Truly breathtaking! The location was fantastic, completely secluded but close enough to the big town. The little touches and hospitality was second to none! We just can't wait to try and book in again. Amazing hosts and an amazing mini-moon. Thank you to you both!

    Daniel2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible place and hosts that make you feel at home. Truly the best airbnb experience we have ever seen. We never stay anywhere twice but are already planning our next trip there. A really special stay that we couldnt recommend highly enough.

    Juliet2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • There arent enough positive adjectives to describe this place. We only stayed for two nights after our mini moon and wish we had longer. It was perfect! Such a secluded spot to relax in the hot tub or in front of the fire after making homemade pizzas on the outdoor komoda oven. The lodge is beautiful inside and out and Richard and Lois have thought of everything. It's sparkling clean and has everything you need to feel at home. Lots of recommended walks nearby. We headed up to British camps to take in the stunning views which was only 10 minute drive away. We hope to return. Thank you x

    Laura2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my husband spent 4 days in Malvern Hills Lodge for our minimoon and we could not have asked for more! The lodge was amazing - beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possible need - from phone chargers to ingredients to make pizza dough to cook on the kamado oven. The bed was really comfortable and big with a amazing sky light so you could see the stars at night. We loved the wood burning hot tub and putting the woodburning log fire on in the living room for cosy nights in. Lois and her husband Rich were fantastic hosts - giving us lots of recommendations for local places to eat and walks to go on and on call if we had any questions. I would 100% recommend this place and expect we will be returning!

We've created a quirky, self-contained retreat. It is on the beautiful Malvern hills, surrounded by uplands and woodland, a short walk from the Iron Age hill fort of British Camp. Ideal for nature lovers, bird watchers and walkers. It is in the Castlemorton Common SSSI and is an AONB. Dark skies are fantastic for night sky watching. Malvern, Ledbury, Tewkesbury (20, 15, 30mins) are beautiful towns with fabulous theatres, cinemas, lesure centres, spas, markets, museums and historical buildings.
The retreat is self-contained and is in our large and beautful garden. It is small. Ideal for one or two. There's a tiny shower and toilet with a basic kitchenette including, single ring induction hob, a microwave and fridge. The retreat has its own little gravel garden with a table, chairs and firepit.
It is a walker paradise. You can walk in any direction out of the door into woodland or up onto the ridge of the hill. You have the length of the hills to explore, the unique grasslands of the common and the parkland of Eastnor Castle is just over the hill. Nearest pub, which serves food, is 20-30 minutes walk along the ridge.
  • Beautiful little place that is completely self sufficient warm even in the middle of winter. The location is great for walking the Malvern ridge, as it is literally on the side of the mountain and withing access to amazing walks in lots of directions. Zoe and her husband were very welcoming, offering us wellies if needed, any necessities from their house and even a ride in their car if we needed to go anywhere. Keep in mind that this is a very isolated location and hard to reach with out a car. We came by train and had to take a 20 minute taxi to the place. Alternatively you could walk there (2.5h) from Great Malvern by road or even by the ridge as we did when we left. If you don't come by car, it is also wise to bring your own food for your stay as the nearest shop is a 40 min walk away. Despite this, this is exactly what we wanted and the only true complaint is that we didn't decide to stay longer.

    Valentina2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a wonderfully situated hidden gem! For a small space it's very well designed, perfectly functional and really cosy. The rain tinkling on the metal roof is a real treat! You're straight out onto paths that take you up into the hills, so much beauty to explore. If you're wanting to cycle, be aware that the terrain is very challenging so if you're after a leisurely ride it's probably not appropriate, but if you're up for mountain biking then it's perfect (note there are designated cycle routes than can be found online). Would recommend this place for rural explorers and nature lovers (:

    Anna2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect secluded getaway... stylish accommodation with everything needed for a mini break ... plenty of walking and a short drive to local resources We were thankful for the complimentary mulled wine too!

  • A gorgeous little hideaway tucked in the folds of the Malvern Hills, at the end of a track half a mile from the nearest lane, and just feet from a stunning view over the Severn Valley. Peaceful and quiet, yet within easy reach of well-trodden paths over the hills. And a lovely half-hour hillside walk to the pub!

    Katie2019-11-18T00:00:00Z

  • Rondene Cottage was absolutely fabulous for our group of six and our dog. The owners were very accommodating for our dog and provided a dog cage, bowls and even treats! The views from the decking at the back of the property were fantastic. There was great communication with the hosts too when we had some questions which helped make our stay even more comfortable. We are all already talking about coming back soon!

  • An amazing place to stay! The house is lovely; very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The highlight is the outside space. The hot tub, the snug, balcony, the view all make this a very special place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break here and would definitely return.

    Cheryl2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Rondene Cottage was absolutely beautiful and ideal for our girls weekend away. The hot tub was a lovely perk - even in the aftermath of Storm Dennis! We did a Tesco delivery as recommended by Cheryl which was definitely a good move, so that we didn’t have to carry the shopping down the steps. Plenty of lovely places to explore within a very short drive (and a very reasonable walk in good weather!). The perfect size for a cosy weekend away and stunning views from the balconies! Would definitely recommend for a quiet retreat with friends or family.

    Emily2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay, everything for the accommodation to the location was stunning. Cheryl is really quick at responding and has thought of everything you would need in the house. We stayed with our dog and he loved in the area has so many walks, if anything Cheryl and Neil cater for you so much that we brought more than we needed with dog bowls and treats provided. We really will be staying again we may bring friends this time and maybe when the sun's out a bit more.
