The "Hut" is less than one mile from the red light in downtown Banner Elk. Only a fifteen minute walk or less than two minute drive will put you in the heart of this quaint little town. Less than half a mile to the local brewery and only a ten minute walk to the town park. The owners are on premises and very attentive to the needs of their guests. Come enjoy a nice quiet space on Sugar Mountain!! My husband and I live right in town and are available for any questions you may have. This is a downstairs condo located at the base of sugar mountain. Easy access to Banner Elk and close to plenty of restaurants. We are with in walking distance to the ski slopes, tubing and ice skating. We also provide our guests with a locker at the lodge so you don't have to walk back and forth with your ski and snowboards!!

If you value serenity, solitude, and the entertainment provided by the environment itself, you'll find it here. Don’t expect modern. It’s a 100-year-old farmhouse.

Newly renovated condo at Sugar Ski and Country Club, the only ski in/ski out complex on the mountain! Check the slope reports and live cams on Sugar Mountain Resort website. 4 wheel drive may be needed in inclement weather. Elevation is 4900 feet for long range views that can be enjoyed from inside the condo. A set of Dimplex electric fire logs means you can simply turn on a cozy fire as soon as you arrive. NO PETS!
