The appartment was in a great position,close to the centre and next to many shops,supermarkets,bars and restaurants.Moreover, the metro and RER station was about 4 minutes (URL HIDDEN) was very clean,warm and (URL HIDDEN) also had espresso coffee,tea and everything you need if you want to cook.The only disadvantage was the too small bathroom but it is not a big problem.Philippe was very helpful and willing to everything we asked..Thank you very much Philippe!

Great little place with close access to the Metro lines and to all of Paris! Check-in and check-out were simple and flexible. I did not meet Philippe, but he checked in on me via e-mail to make sure everything was ok. The apartment was clean, comfortable and modern. Yes, lots of stairs, but well worth it for the value. The weather during my stay was quite pleasant, but the room might get quite warm on the hotter days of summer without air conditioning. I would stay again!

The lovely little studio flat was just as described and pretty clean. Very easy to get to from Gard Du Norde on one metro line, and the metro is just around the corner. 20 min walk to nearby attractions. 6 flights of stairs and sloping ceilings are both quaint and difficult, but worth it for the price and location. Philippe was very responsive and made it very easy for us to check in and check out!

Check in and out was very easy and the location is great - 5 min walk from the closest metro station. As previous reviews have said, this place is NOT for tall people! I'm 5'4" and still hit my head a few times. However the unit is very clean and cozy, with suitable amenities. It is nice and quiet. I enjoyed having my own private unit. If you are staying with someone else, keep in mind that there is no door between the toilet and the rest of the unit, so you should be very comfortable with your partner!

The apartment is small, but the location is great. Not a long walk to Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. The apartment is on 6th floor so just beware if you have difficulty with stairs. Otherwise it was clean, convenient, and contact with host via the app was great. We would stay again.

We spent very nice time at Philippes place. It was quite small place but enough for people who came explore Paris as we. But place was very clean and very good equipped.

First of all, Philippe was the best host we had (and we are frequent travelers) Instructions were precise and easy to follow. Apartment was clean, small (low ceiling with beams in some parts of the room) but well organized, equipped (hairdryer, iron and ironing board, blanket for picnic under the Eiffel, coffee, tea, and everything a home should have) and we love it! Check in and check out was really flexible, so our baggage could stay in the apartment until our late afternoon flight. Communication was excellent (quick responses) If you love to walk, nothing is too far from you – Supermarket, Pompidou, Louvre, Notre Dame, and Seine.

It was really great staying "Chez Philippe"!!! He was a very kind and considerate host, gave us clear and certain information about the apartment and about getting around in Paris. The apartment is perfectly suitable for a couple, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is great and the towels and linens were perfectly ranged and clean, what made our stay even more perfect. The apartment has been recently remodeled, which gave us a sensation of been its first guests. Really loved it all! My only remark is for the ladies who bring too much with them - like me! The stairs can be a bit rough if you're on your own. My boyfriend, however, seemed to have no trouble with it. I kindly thank Philippe for receiving us. We had a wonderful stay and if in Paris again will surely stay "sous les toits de Paris"! Thanks!

Perfect little flat. Ideal location - we walked everywhere, we had no need for cabs or the metro. The coding entry system was easy unlike what some others suggest on here. Everything was provided for and great communication from Gilian. With flats like this, I don't know why anyone would get a hotel. Many thanks!

Stayed for two nights and loved it! The house has such a nice feel and is full of beautiful pieces of furniture and quirky pictures. We were here on business and being within 3 minutes from the metro was very handy. The location is great, with a 25 minute walk you're by the river with views of the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. Will definitely return on holiday next time! Gilian was a perfect host too. Thankyou!

My sister and I stayed at Gilian's apartment for two nights, and I have to say our first impression was rather negative. After everything had been arranged and booked we were told, two nights before arriving in Paris that we would not be welcome at the apartment until the evening. We then had to wait around for over four hours, until our host was ready. After this wait, we found the apartment unpleasantly filthy. The floor was so dirty we couldn't walk around barefoot. We had to clean before we could relax, not something you want to do when paying for accommodation! A drying rack was left in the middle of the main room covered in soaking wet towels, taking up most of the room. I understand the need to wash the laundry, but maybe it'd be best to do this 'out of house' if a guest is staying. Apart from all of that, the apartment itself was lovely. The private entrance is ideal, and feels really safe. It is really quiet, especially for Paris. The bathroom is modern and well spaced. The bed is comfortable, yet it is a little daunting to climb the ladder at first! However it doesn't take long to get the knack of it. The kitchen is minimal, and lacking in some details (no cafetiere!), but it was fine. Storage is another little problem, there is nowhere to hang or store your clothes and belongings... The placement of the apartment was great, just a quick walk to the Marias, and really close to the Eurostar Gare du Nord(URL HIDDEN)

Accommodation was perfect and just as described. It was well located to allow walking to all major sites and metro. We loved our time here and will stay again when we are next in Paris

This is a very small one room flat. Too small for our purpose and very expensive in the light of what you actually get. I would not recommend it for other than family or couples. We were three friends and there is absolutely no privacy. Everything is small and it is impossible to lock the space between the bathroom/toilet and the Livingroom, because there are no walls in the apt. The cleaning fee is all too expensive. So be aware of that when you book. Also the fee for canceling is extremely high when you compare it to hotels or other Airbnb's apts. However, the apt is ok, but not at all the best value in Paris, that for sure.

I met Gilian on arrival. This was the second time my friend and I booked the apartment, and this time was just as pleasing as before. He accommodated our arrival and departure needs regarding time. The flat is in a great location, and again was very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the well functioning shower was pleasing after a day's travel. Thank you!

What a fantastic stay in Paris! The apartment was just like the photos, small but had everything we needed and was in a fantastic location - couldn't have asked for better. Vu was that perfect host - he met us on the day we arrived and showed us around the apartment and local area. This wasn't expected, but was definitely appreciated. He was contactable online during our stay to help us with any questions we had and also gave us tips about the neighbourhood and recommendations on restaurants near-by (we can certainly vouch for "Benedict", it was fantastic!). We had such a great stay hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back again!

Vu&Kim are amazing hosts. They have welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine and a nice assortment of bathroom products. The apartment is super super clean. Beds are very comfortable and the apartment is located in the best neighborhood. Many nice restaurants and shops around the area. At Paul's tube is only 5 minutes away. I highly suggest this apartment.

The apartment is beautifull and the area is perfect. Vu&Kim are great hosts. They were available for any questions or help at any time and their tips proved always right and helpful. The flat was very clean and had all amenities. They even offered a welcome bottle of wine!

Vu made our stay very comfortable. The apartment is very cozy and clean, perfect for what we needed as simple tourist on our trip. Vu made himself available to us at all times even giving us a local tour of grocery stores, patisseries, and restaurants we should know about. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine and lotions/shampoo for my daughter were a pleasant touch. The area of Marais can be busy during the evenings. We found that things calmed down by midnight and we slept well, even without air conditioning. Don't hold back from choosing this location. We enjoyed it!

The host was delightful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable: he left fresh fruit and beverages for us in the apartment. The 1 room apartment is lovely, everything was clean and worked, though the stairway to the apartment still needs a little work, but I think that might be par for the course in a Parisian apartment building. Everything in the apartment is small, but we managed to fit two adults and two children in there for two nights and were comfortable. The neighborhood is the Jewish Quarter of Paris: very lively and there were people out in the street making lots of noise until well into the night, which was fun. There are plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner within a short walk. It is also a short walk to the river and Notre Dame. If you want a quiet stay in Paris, this is probably not the place for you. But if you like lively and interesting then this is perfect.

Julien was a wonderful host! His place was just as pictured, very cozy. The stairs to get to the top are tough and if you have a lot of luggage it is really difficult but worth it! We had three people so it was a bit of a tight fit but it would be a perfect couples getaway. It's super close to public transportation, which is great and the metro is so easy to use throughout the city! Julien is also available to answer any questions about the city and he was able to help us out a lot! Overall, a great stay!

We had a lovely stay at Julien's apartment. He gave us thorough instructions for our arrival, and we had no problem accessing the key and the apartment. The 7 flights of stairs are, of course, a trek with luggage, but well worth it. The view from the window is classic Paris - we loved it! We found the apartment very clean, comfortable, and stylish. It is a very small space with slanted ceilings, but neat and tidy - perfect for a short stay. We appreciated the coffee machine and loved the chic design of the place. The location is excellent, directly across from the metro entrance (Arts et Metiers). Not far from the Pompidou Center, Picasso Museum, and the heart of the Marais. We followed Julien's guidebook as well for restaurant recommendations. Overall, a great experience - a small, tidy, stylish choice in the Marais!

We had a lovely stay at this flat in Le Marais. It's was conveniently located - not far from Gare du Nord on the Metro and central enough that we could walk everywhere we wanted to. Le Marais is a vibrant area of Paris with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. The flat was as seen in the photos and an ideal size for two people. It was fully equipped should you want to cook and very clean when we arrived. Cyril was very welcoming and gave us information about the area and good restaurants to go to. We would stay here again if we come back to Paris.

My girlfriend and I couldn't have wished for a more perfect apartment for our stay in Paris! The location was amazing, the accommodation was superb and Cyril was the perfect host...we think it would be a tough ask to find a better apartment (for 2 people) in the Marais district. A home away from home, we wish we were still there.

Our stay really exceeded our expectation! I fully admit that I chose this place mostly based on aesthetic reasons, as the photos of the place looked amazing, but little did I knew that other factors were just as important, namely location and communication with Cyril. Marais district has many hip stores, bars and cafes but has the classy and neighborly feel. We loved staying in the area to have drinks and meals after a long day of sightseeing.Cyril and his friend Oliver were also very essential in making our trip so smooth as they were really responsive with communication! So thank you both for being a vital part of our dream vacation!!

Cyril made us feel very welcome, and was very helpful in getting luggage up and down five flights. Home is exactly as advertised. If you have trouble with several flights of steep stairs, this is not for you. But we managed this OK. Apartment is stylish, comfortable, well equipped, great views and wonderful location. It was a pleasure to stay here. We hope to return.

Cyril was most welcoming to his delightful apartment perfectly positioned in Paris. We were able to walk to all the iconic sites. The apartment was well appointed with all we needed including coffee making facilities, electric kettle, washing machine etc. The apartment afforded us the parisienne experience while in a quiet neighbourhood. Even the spiral staircase up 4 storeys was beautiful. Cyril made it easy for us to settle in and we appreciated our time there.

We recently stayed in Brian's flat. It was conviently located, with easy access to train / metro station, and it was as described in listing. Met his cleaner who gave us the key; other details of security codes were promptly emailed to us.

The best part of this apartment is the neighborhood - it is a very quiet street but in an active neighborhood. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and close to 3 different metro stops. My daughter slept in the loft and I slept on the lower bed, and both were comfortable. The kitchen wouldn't be sufficient for cooking much but was enough for eating breakfast. Brian met us at the apartment and seemed very friendly. Note: If you want both beds made up, ask Brian ahead of time.

The apartment is in a quiet street and close to the metro and a grocery store, which is convenient. I do agree with some previous reviews that the apartment is a bit more worn than the photos suggest. The shower has half of a door that does not lock in place, so it is pretty much guaranteed that you will get water everywhere, at least at first. We did not meet Brian but he was very responsive. He hires a cleaning service for the apartment, and while everything seemed clean when we arrived, I have some doubts about things like the bedding. A blanket from the closet was visibly unclean (crusty spots) and the main bedding on the floor level was damp, like maybe it had been sprayed down instead of washed. The top bed did not have any sheets or anything, which was not a problem for us as we were two people, but I'm not sure if that was an oversight or purposeful. The apartment did feel very safe with multiple locked doors to pass through. Overall I probably would choose another apartment if I return to Paris - nothing major wrong with this one, but we have since stayed in a few more Airbnbs and had a better experience, so there are probably better experiences to be had in Paris.

The place was per all the previous reviews. Everything we needed was ready and waiting and Brian got back almost immediately with any queries. Location is great and the neighbourhood felt safe even later at night (travelling with young daughter). All in all a great experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Brian's apartment. The apartment was clean and perfect for both a family of four or as a couple's getaway. The location was central and had nearby restaurants, shops and groceries. Brian was very quick to respond and even found a solution to storing our luggage when we had a late flight. I'd come back again, no doubt.

Brian's apartment was modern and spacious on the first floor, close to several supermarkets and the metro station. He also recommended some nice restaurants in the area. Would definitely refer everyone to come and stay at Brian's place!

Mathilde's studio in the Marais couldn't have been more wonderful. It's a beautifully designed little space that is very warm, inviting and extremely comfortable. I brought my little dog and the building was quiet and I felt very safe and at home there. It's in the heart of the Marais and is walking distance from everything you could want to see. Mathilde was great to communicate with and made my stay perfect! Would definitely recommend this spot.

This is a great place to stay as it is very central, you can easily walk down to the river and ride to the Eiffel tower and louvre. His room mates we're very nice, although we didn't see them much and he has a cute cat!

Benjamin was a great and thoughtful host, even understanding when I came early and explaining everything before he left for work. The room was quite comfortable and we had a kitty friend Tigre ( if we wanted!) She was quite well behaved and didn't bother us, very sweet. The flat was simple and not fancy, but for Paris we found it lovely. Well placed near three metros and plenty of great restaurants nearby. We saw everything we wanted to see in two days thanks to the great location. One night we returned and there was loud music playing, but within 10 minutes of our arrival it was off and the flat was unite and peaceful. Next time I will stay here if we return to Paris! Thank you again Benjamin!

Absolutely loved it here! The location and area is super nice and easy to get to. Be aware there is a cat, so if you are allergic like me..be prepared. Otherwise I would wholeheartedly recommend it here.

Everything was exactly like the host said it was going to be, we arrived late, and he was working at that time, but he made sure that we can get into our room and that we feel welcome with notes. The location is amazing, subway is close and most of the "must see" landmarks can be seen with a single walk from here.

The flat is in a perfect location. We didn't meet Benjamin but he organized everything very well for us and we had no problem at all reaching the flat. Her flatmate is a very nice person, very welcoming and helpful, the ideal person to share a flat; she really made us feel at home. The room is clean and quite, and the flat is in a perfect position, next to the most important metros and in a very fancy and vital neighbourhood. We had a very nice experience and we highly raccomand it for a short stay.

Remy was an excellent host. He was in constant communication with us as we were arriving. He carried my wife’s luggage up four floors. He made us feel extremely welcomed. The listing description was very accurate. The location was amazing, very central and the neighborhood was lovely.

My host ended up not being there during our stay. BUT, Sebastian from the office, was outstanding in his efforts to make the stay fabulous. The flat was clean and comfortable. Being in Le Marais was amazing ... access to all of Paris easily, and it felt very safe walking alone ... even very late at night. The only surprise was that there were 5 flights of an old, uneven wooden spiral staircase ... a challenge with luggage! Sebastian was also a great help in overcoming this obstacle. I would definitely recommend this one!

This apartment is adorable. Once upstairs it feels very protected with loads of privacy. It is small but perfect. Especially if you're travelling alone or in a couple for tourism or business. Check in went super smooth. Remy is actually working right under the apartment so I didn't had to wait 1 minute. The location is fantastic. And I loved the decor hardcore choice in furniture.

Alex and Pierre were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to ensure I had a lovely stay in their home and with their family. I felt welcome and comfortable from day one, and was grateful for their hospitality, particularly through the troubling time Paris experienced. They are kind and caring people who were happy to help with any queries or questions I had. I felt the description was accurate and the photos a great way to see what to expect. Bed was very comfortable. It was really nice to have my own space and private ensuite / bathroom as well. The Marais is a fabulous area with so many interesting and quirky areas to explore - and whether getting around on foot, bicycle, metro or bus it was very easy. Lots of great places to eat or purchase produce from nearby. I would highly recommend staying here, cannot fault it. :)

My stay at Alex's apartment was great! I stayed 3 nights and it was my first time in Paris. The room and bathroom is VERY clean. The room is spacious plus the balcony overlooking the street extends the room and is icing on the cake. Alex and Pierre are the most ideal Airbnb hosts you ask for. They were interested in my stay and offered suggestions and tips for places to eat and shop which was very helpful. Also, they love to share their stories and experiences and are very welcoming. I had the pleasure of getting to know them over dinner and it was the highlight of my short stay in Paris. If you have the opportunity to book with Alex, I would highly recommend it - it'll be worth it! And if you're lucky you may even get to hear Pierre's music!

I had a great stay at Alexandra's. After a long and drawn out flight from California, I was first welcomed by the nanny. Shortly thereafter, Alexandra was there to make sure that I had all the amenities in the room. Along the way, I had some minor problems with the wifi, but Alexandra was really timely in resolving the issue. Even with her busy schedule as mom of two adorable kids, she was really great about providing insight on getting around the city. The room is small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is well-kept and has an added advantage of having a window for additional ventilation. The apartment itself is situated in an ideal part of the city. It has access to a few different metro/bus stops, and it is in walking distance to a well-stocked grocery store.

I had a fantastic stay with Alex's family. The location of the apartment is fantastic, close to the metro and walkable from many of the major attractions. I would recommend the room to anyone coming to Paris! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Very friendly & helpful couple. Location excellent. We felt bedroom very small for a couple & had to ask for their belongings in wardrobe to be moved so we could put a suitcase in it. We would not have booked if we had known they had a baby & toddler as we did not wish to share open plan kitchen/lounge with them. The children were very well behaved & quiet.

The place is in a great part of Paris, and, while we only met Pierre at the beginning of our stay, he was extremely friendly and welcoming. I suppose I should mention that there were a few sour notes to our stay, however--the bed left us with backaches for the week and the place's location at a busy intersection meant that it was loud all the time, and, toward the end of our stay the cats (cute companions, both!) came into our room at night and chewed up our laptop and iPhone charger cables, which cost us $100 to replace. Alex was apologetic, but did not offer to help us with the replacements.

The room is small but is very cozy and confortable. The bathroom is lado Nice and they have a realy Nice house. It is only 10 minuts by walk from Note Drame and in the same street of the metro. We only met the hosts by the morning because they were out traveling the others days. Everithing Went well and i would stay again here!

The apartment was just what we wanted. Everything fit well. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a washing machine. Nam was most helpful. The location was great. Two blocks away was a wonderful street with many interesting restaurants. The metro was close, and the Louvre is within walking distance

The place is a gem, very feat, functional and with great location, close to everything. Both Patrick and Nam are great hosts, providing clear instruction, guide and advises.

This is the ideal place to stay in Paris. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to everything. Nam met us (my husband and myself) at the apartment, and he carefully took the time to explain how to work the stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc. Because I arrived 4 months pregnant it was important for me to have a place to cook, and we had all the pots/pans utensils needed for meals in - but the neighborhood also provided a plethora of restaurants for most meals out. We especially enjoyed the Rue de Montorgueil marketplace. The metro station was an easy 5 minute walk, and when we weren't enjoying mingling in the family-friendly neighborhood, we played the tourist at Sacre Coeur, Sainte-Chapelle, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre. We were able to walk to the Louvre in about 20 minutes from the apartment. It helped that I can speak French, but we would have been okay without it. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. Thank you, Nam et Patrick for a wonderful place to call home for a week. You've given us the best of Paris. Superbe.

The apartment was just lovely and had everything we could possibly have needed. It was in the perfect neighborhood (very centrally located) and just two blocks away from the wonderful Rue Montogueil with all of its lovely patisseries, boulangeries and cafes. Patrick and Nam were very helpful throughout our stay and Nam even sent me a text one morning to tell me about a wonderful flea market that was taking place during my stay. I went up to the flea market and bought some wonderful little treasures. I can't wait to come back to this lovely apartment again!! Thanks for everything Patrick and Nam!!

Wow! What a great way to end our adventure in Europe. My husband and I, with our 1 year old stayed at Patrick and Nams place for a week. After backpacking with our son for 2 weeks it was exactly what we needed. It was perfectly located and it had such a great Parisian charm. The place was super clean and had everything you needed to feel at home. It was great to be able to cook a meal. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone's stay in Paris. Thank you Patrick and Nam, I can't wait for us to be back

Patrick and Nam have a great apartment in a great neighborhood in Paris. It has all the amenities of a hotel. Excellent security for the building and apartment. Patrick and Nam are very organized and prepared for guests. We loved the place and would return.

I'm just back after spending 2 weeks in Paris with my daughter and I can only thank Patrick and Nam for letting us rent their apartment. This was our first experience with AirB&B and it was a very positive one. The apartment is perfectly located, near three different metro stops, surrounded by nice shops, restaurants and bars, and a walk away from many beautiful sights. The street is quiet and the apartment clean and cosy, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well-equipped and spotless. I also appreciated the small touches added by our hosts to make our stay a pleasant one: books to read, brochures and leaflets with information about things to do in Paris, coffee tea sugar and much more. I am sure going to recommand this to my friends. Definitely the place to rent in Paris!

This is a beautiful traditional apartment in the centre of Paris. Beautifully laid out with fantastic light in all the rooms. The space is tastefully appointed with some cool midcentury pieces and is very bright with the many french doors that open to the balcony. We loved opening these doors every night for a nice breeze and a peek at the sparkling Eiffel Tour. There are many cafes nearby and a 10 minute walk has you right in the middle of some of the hippest shopping in Paris. Jerome was a gracious host and very responsive to all of our questions. The location is perfect and easy to walk to most places from. It's immaculately clean with attention to every detail. Jerome was the perfect host so checking in and out was a breeze. Really fantastic and great value for the location.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location in the Marais district is great and the neighborhood is very friendly and close to everything you might need - restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and all the great cultural gifts Paris has to offer. We'd enjoy returning some day.

Clément's place was absolutely wonderful, such a lovely cosy home. We really enjoyed our stay in the flat, it was perfect for what we needed as it was close to the metro as well as some lovely bars and restaurants. We would definitely love to stay again !

The best thing of the listing is its location. There are metro stations nearby that take you to central Paris and to the Gare du Nord, and there are also lots of amenities nearby, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The only difficulty can be the building itself. It is an old Parisian building which means that you will access the flat by stairs (third floor) and you will be able to tell that the building has seen better days. The flat itself is old, but cozy. We didn't get to meet Clement, but his friend was very helpful and attentive.

The location an the appartement are really pleasant, Check in was very easy and Clément is very nice. We had a great time!

The perfect location - in the heart of Paris and perfectly located in the best neighborhood: Le Marais. There are so many great restaurants and stores within a stones throw from the place. This was our second time staying in the unit. It is very charming and the bed is comfortable. Again, it is very small and requires a lots of stairclimbing and maneuvering a small space. There also isn't AC in the summer. Perfectly fine for younger travelers but depending on your needs could be more challenging for others. Would definitely consider staying again.

The apartment in The Marais district looks exactly like the pictures posted. The apartment ideally suits 1-2 persons. It is 2 blocks away from the Metro, centrally located. Some of Paris's most famous locations include Bastille, Notre Dame Cathedral are within walking distance away. I enjoyed my 1 week stay and will definitely stay here again for my next visit. Monsieur Philippe received me at the apartment, showed me how to get around and left his number/contact info for emergencies. Also the wifi is fast and the bed is comfortable. There is no elevator in the complex and since the apartment is located on the 4th floor, for some that might be a considertion. Over all, I enjoyed my stay here.

Great place! Real good value for money! Super kind host and, although a very small space, it has everything you (URL HIDDEN) very quite and clean and with a beautiful authentic Parisian touch; you feel like you live in in Paris. The Marais is the hottest area at the moment, so you won't regret staying here. Philippe even recommended me his favourite restaurant (you have to ask him ; ) which was sublime. I traveled alone and felt completely safe and relaxed, which is absolutely worth the climbing of a few stairs. Just book it

Philippe's apartment is most beautiful. Despite the steep stair climb, the apartment is so cute I almost didn't want to leave it. I love the bathroom and the skylight in the loft area. The location is perfect and you feel a part of the neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay at the apartment! The place is super small but totally liveable, and Philippe was really helpful. The neighborhood is also really nice, right in the heart of the Marais.

We had a fantastic stay in this duplex for 3 nights. No problems meeting with the host, he was outside waiting for us. Many stairs to the apartment, but good exercise. Perfect for a few nights and in an awesome location near the metro.

Eric had everything in that place, coffee machine, fridge, TV, audio system, clean towels, very cozy tiny apartment.

This is normal place for one night. Cheapest and so close at the center of the city

The shower went cold extremely quickly, I managed to wet my hair and body and wash my face before the hot water ran out. I than had to stand there shivering for 15minutes before it got hot again and I had to keep turning the water on and off. The listing said no smoking but a dirty ash tray was in the room and everything smelt of stale smoke. I was told by Eric that towels and linen were provided. Two small stale smoke smelling towels were there and the bed linen wasn't bed linen. The disposable 'sheets' were the same material as a cooks hair net, definitely not linen. I had to sleep on the floor using my own towel that I packed as a blanket because of the fear of falling out of the top bed which was about a foot from the ceiling. This place is cheap for a reason. We booked for 3 nights and barely got through one. We ended up having to book another airbnb for the other two nights. When we went to collect our bags to move on to the new place, the main door to the building had been fixed and had a code and fob entry which we did not have which left us locked out until another tenant let us in. On the upside Eric seemed like a nice guy.

Les mauvais points : très peu d'eau chaude pour prendre sa douche, matelas au sol, chambre très petite, aération insuffisante. Les bons points : bien situé dans Paris, logement calme, Eric s'est adapté à mes horaires d'arrivée et de départ.

Cecile is friendly and helpful. Her response is fast and her information is useful. The place is good enough for 4 persons. The unit is equipped with security door at the main entrance of the building. It is also come with a lift.

The apartment was a very cute and nicely laid out studio in a great neighbourhood, as shown in the pictures. It has very nice light with roof windows, and a good heating system, and decent wifi. The location is great, in a very busy area close to Pompidou in the upper Marais, near many metro lines/RER etc, so very convenient. Because the windows open to an interior courtyard there isn't much noise from the street. One can hear the neighbours through the walls but at night it was luckily very quiet, so it wasn't an issue at all. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen basic but ok, and the bathroom typical Parisian small but totally fine. The only issue we encountered was that the stovetop was entirely broken, which apparently the people who stayed just before us hadn't reported, so Cécile was surprised to hear it. She was very apologetic but as it was a weekend, she couldn't get it fixed in time. In the end it was ok since we weren't planning to cook on just a weekend trip. Our only complaint is that there wasn't even a water kettle or coffee maker so between that and the stove being broken, we couldn't make coffee in the morning! Luckily there were many coffee places just outside, but that would be the only thing I would have wished different! We didn't actually meet Cécile in person, but via email she was very friendly and prompt in responding, and we had no problems getting in the apartment as we were met by her cleaner who showed us around. When there was the problem with the stove, she called back immediately, and came by the next day to look at it. She was also kind enough to let us check out late on the last day since no one else was coming, which made our departure very relaxed. Overall our experience with her as host is that she is friendly and professional, and we had no problems whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again!

Cecile is excellent to work with and I honestly cannot say anything but great things about this flat. You are in a PERFECT location - and it is nice and toasty on the upper level where the bed and bathroom are. The flat has a very spacious feel - this is a perfect little alcove for a couple who want to tour Paris and then come back to a cozy flat. I would recommend this flat to anyone traveling to Paris looking to be in the heart of the City of Light.

This simple apartment is perfectly located for a tourist trip to Paris, very central and on a safe street. Svitlana, the cleaner let us in - she was very friendly. It was freezing in Paris the weekend we visited but thankfully the apartment was lovely and cosy!

Very central location, different metro stops quite close to the flat and a lot of different attractions are quite close on foot as well. The apartment is quite comfortable, clean and has everything that you need.
