Spend an enjoyable evening after a day outdoors in Gamekeeper Cottage. With its lush greens and oak beams, it merges the traditional with the contemporary in its decor. There are three lovely cosy bedrooms upstairs at Gamekeeper Cottage. One boasts a king-sized bed. The second offers a choice of king-sized bed or twin beds. The third can be used to accommodate a child/ young person in a cot or single bed or be a study, as long as the scenic views of the surrounding fields don’t distract you.

Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

An excellent base to explore the natural beauty of Exmoor & Dartmoor National Parks, the spectacular North Devon coastline & beaches, gardens, including RHS Rosemoor, and various family attractions. 10 minutes away is South Molton, 'The Gateway to Exmoor', with its excellent Pannier Market, shops, restaurants, tea rooms and antique shops. Also within a few miles are several pubs and restaurants.

This small two bedroomed cottage was built in 1800 when the Mill opposite was fully working. It is in a remote, quiet and secluded part of Mid Devon within an hour of both the North or South coasts of Devon. It is accessible down narrow single track country lanes. The nearest shops are in the town of Tiverton, five miles away. The broadband has been upgraded to Ultrafast fibre to the premises with speeds of at least 450mbps. However, there is no mobile phone signal in the valley.
