Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

Only ten minutes from historic downtown Lexington, the cabin is secluded yet accessible.

Take it easy at our unique and tranquil getaway. The custom built cabin hosts a variety of amenities for you to enjoy. Relax in the hot tub, take a leisurely walk by the Maury River, swing on the screened-in porch, have your morning coffee while taking in the wildlife. In the evenings, enjoy grilling out under the stars. Snuggle up by the gas fireplace, listen to music or catch a movie in our beautiful living area. Our fire pit is perfect for an evening sing along or marshmallow roast!

Need a quiet get-away? You've got the it!!! Enjoy the deck, HOT TUB, gorgeous mountain view and lovely night music. This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Come experience the magic of Alone Mill! Canoe, bike, hike or just hang out by the creek! We are a 15 minute (6 mile) drive from Lexington, Virginia, home to Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute and the Virginia Horse Center. Spring, summer and fall are great times for running the whitewater in Goshen Pass or tubing the flat water into Lexington. Come to the country where you can stay up late, dazzled by the stars and the Milky Way.

From the cabin porch, you will look across the pond and enjoy a view of High Peak Mountain, apple orchards, hayfields, and cattle grazing in the pastures. The cabin has been beautifully renovated, preserving the charm and history of the cabin, while adding all the modern amenities you would expect.
