Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. There is a public beach access directly adjacent to the property that takes you down to a cobble stone beach looking west to the Georgia Strait. Please refer to Policy and Rules for pets.

Each cabin is clad in natural and charred cedar and is blended into the sword ferns, cedar, hemlock and fir trees that surround it. Ocean view from the cabin - walk down the sloping lawn and stairs down to the beach. It is the perfect place to getaway, unwind, and spend time in our beautiful coastal surroundings. Watch the seals, otters and eagles play at our secluded beach. Swim or launch your kayaks, paddle boards or canoes from our property to enjoy the splendour of the Salish Sea. Arbutus Counselling service is onsite and massage are available, often times arranged in advance of your stay.
