Grandma vibe near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. Well equipped 50's cozy front style house. The house has a pirtti with a well-stocked kitchen, one bedroom, and a sauna department. The sauna section of the house has a chamber with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-burning sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 70s and the surfaces of the sauna and washroom have been renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 guests. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

Villa Siimes, WALD Villas Aavasaksa

As you enter the log cabin, the view opens directly into the cabin, which has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for six people. Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. The cottage is modern and cosy , very compact and located by the river Kemijoki. Amazing view to river and safe private beach for kids to play and swim. Big terrace and barbeque area gives for your staying more value. The interior of the cabin is decorated with Finnish design classics, and it is very cozy with all the household equipment needed. The price includes linen and towels. Suitable for families and group of friends.

A warm welcome to stay in a cozy 100-square-meter detached house, in a peaceful and idyllic seaside setting. The accommodation price includes bedding and towels, the basics of cooking (spices, cooking oil, etc.), laundry detergent, and all the equipment you need for basic living. In the bedroom, a double bed and in the other rooms, there are also 2 extendable sofa beds. Rovaniemi is 120km away. Kemi and Tornio 20km.
