A no-frills cabin feel at a rustic house on the Salish Sea w/ private beach. Park and walk down trail (220 steps, must be able-bodied.) You are right on the water! Full kitchen, Keurig coffee machine (bring K-cups,) microwave, oven, fridge, hot water maker, water filter, washer/dryer, tub/shower, deck w/ BBQ. You will need directions. Trail lights upon request after dark. (This is not a party house, no pets or shellfish digging. Young children not recommended due to stairs.) Strong cell signal!

Not recommended for someone with limited mobility.

We use CDC guidelines as close as possible & leave 48+ hours between guests for your/our safety. Enjoy our secluded park like setting, comfy bed, sauna, homemade bread/jam, huge cedar trees, sitting areas, golf chipping, horseshoes (seasonal). Close to SEA via ferry ride from Bainbridge Is. (30 min. drive) or 10 min. to Kingston ferries (walk-on or car). Near beach, golf (White Horse GC) & miles of hiking/biking trails, close to shopping & restaurants. Good for couples/singles. KVI Beach Bungalow

Our bungalow is located in the Chautauqua beach community. It is the perfect location to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. While it is not a waterfront property, the beach, known as KVI beach, is a stone's throw away. Central to the interior of the open beamed bungalow is a stone faced Envirotech masonry fireplace. Surrounding the masonry are the living room, office, dining area, kitchen and bedroom. Appliances are Fischer Paykel--propane cooktop & electric oven.

Enjoy our lakefront cottage with exclusive access to the lake. Lake Desire is a small, quiet lake just a 30-minute drive from Seattle, and you can enjoy all kinds of nature activities here. Create lasting memories with family and friends in this idyllic setting. Kayaks and paddle boards are free to use for our guests, but please read the rules carefully. Please note: for guests who plan to bring a dog, we require 2 positive reviews. Also, the pet fee is listed in our house rules.
