With a beautiful 360° scenery and a grand pateo you can enjoy mesmerizing sunsets and spectacular northern lights showings, given the complete lack of light pollution. It's the photohgrapher's dream location. Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss can be seen from the apartment. 4x4 is necessary during winter as the path leading to the house can get very snowy.

A cozy new private apartment at a family farm in the South of Iceland. Great location for all the main sites in the region. Views of Eyjafjallajökull from the farm, 15 minutes from Seljalandsfoss, waterfall, and 25 minutes from Skógarfoss, waterfall. Only five minutes from the ring-road and 90 minutes from Reykjavík. The family has been running the farm for three generations, with horses, cows and sheep. The apartment consists of a living room, two bedrooms, bathroom and a small kitchen.

Only 25 minutes drive to Vík. The apartment is named after the hag Gilitrutt wich is a folktale about a hag that supposingly lived in the mountain behind the apartment. Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.
